Landscape Architecture Planning and Design Based on Landscape Ecology Theory:A Case Study of Waterfront Landscape Planning and Design of Dapo Town

With the rapid development of urbanization,landscape architecture has become an indispensable component of daily life.In order to achieve better landscape effects and protect the ecological environment,landscape ecology theory can be integrated into landscape planning to carry out disciplinary crossing and integration research between landscape ecology and landscape architecture.In this study,based on the basic theories of landscape ecology,the waterfront landscape of Dapo Town was designed,with the aim to achieve ecological balance in planning,showcase biodiversity,and create a harmonious landscape ecological environment which can benefit both nature and people.This design combined artificial and natural elements while improving the natural environment,which promoted a harmonious relationship between humans and nature,thus enriching the spatial organization of the city,and playing a role in regulating the urban environment and climate.

Ecological Planning and Design of Urban Green Space System of Sanya City

The construction of International Tourism Island has accelerated the development of Sanya City. The population aggregation and the external extension of urban area have brought a lot of negative effects, such as discontinuities of green space matrix, dysfunction of green wedge permeation, deficiency of eco-corridor, structural imbalance of green space system and so on. The overall layout of Green space system known as "One Belt & Three Bays, One Core & Six Towns, Two Axes & Three Wedges, Two Net Synchronous-construction" strengthens the eco-connection among different groups and green space in central area of the city, and realizes the collaborative construction of both resource corridor and landscape corridor. The eco-layout of green core, green corridor and green patch helps keep the integrity of large vegetation patches, enhances the eco-connection of different types of green space and improves finger-shaped network of urban green space. The most efficient way to promote the circulation of urban ecosystem and the positive development of Sanya City is to plan multilevel and three-dimensional eco-space structure and maximize ecological benefits of green space system.

Integrating Salt Culture into Rural Revitalization: Planning and Design of a Thematic Creative Agricultural Garden in Jintan, Jiangsu, China

This research establishes a strategic framework for developing a salt culture-themed agricultural garden in Jintan,Jiangsu to boost rural vibrancy and cultural tourism while honoring local salt heritage.It employs the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)for a data-driven and structured approach to evaluate the sustainability and cultural significance of agricultural initiatives.This framework ensures a balanced blend of agriculture,culture,and tourism to foster a sustainable and culturally rich experience.The study highlights the value of structured methodologies in planning culturally impactful agricultural projects.

Planning and Design of Food System in Bajiao Community of Shijingshan District of Beijing under the Background of Healthy Community

Community is basic unit of healthy urban development.As main space of people’s daily life,community carries various functional needs of food,clothing,housing and transportation.Under concept of healthy community development,planning and design of community food system are studied in this paper.A good community food chain plays a positive role in improving people’s happiness and quality of life.In this paper,ArcGIS platform is used to build“food map”network system.Taking Bajiao Community in Shijingshan District of Beijing as an example,infl uence weight,spatial distribution and accessibility of food source are studied,and optimization strategies and development suggestions for food system planning and design are fi nally put forward.

Design of Cellular Manufacturing Systems Considering Dynamic Production Planning and Worker Assignments

This article presents a comprehensive mathematical model for the design and analysis of Dynamic Cellular Manufacturing Systems （DCMS）. The proposed DCMS model considers several manufacturing attributes such as multi period production planning, dynamic system reconfiguration, duplicate machines, machine capacity, the available time for workers, worker assignments, and machine procurement. The objective is to minimize total costs; consisting of holding cost, outsourcing cost, inter-cell material handling cost, maintenance and overhead cost, machine relocation cost. While a study of published articles in the area of Cellular Manufacturing Systems （CMS） shows that workforce management issues have not sufficiently been addressed in the literature, the model presented also incorporates CMS workforce management issues such as salaries, hiring and firing costs of workers in addition to the manufacturing attributes. In-depth discussions on the results for two numerical examples are presented to illustrate applications of the proposed model. The model developed aims to raise the envelope by expanding and improving several CMS models previously presented in the literature.

Planning and Design of Mountainous Agricultural Sightseeing Garden——a Case Study of Ruimin Agricultural Sightseeing Eco-garden

Agricultural sightseeing project is expanding with social development, yet most are confined in improvements in original gardens, with similar style or pattern. The research took Uupanshui City as an example and analyzed mountain-based ag- ricultural sightseeing in order to discuss the way to propel agriculture integration with leisure tourism, processing, establish new models for sightseeing eco-garden gardens, and benefit economically, socially and ecologically.

Planning and Design for Eco-Sustainable Farmland Consolidation

With a view of sustainable development, different kinds of farmland consolidation are reviewed. A planning and design mode for eco-sustainable farmland consolidation, which integrated the ecotypic board, the ecotypic tunnel, the ecotypic island, and the ecotypic boundary, is proposed. Then, an actual case of farmland consolidation, a project located in Yinzhou County, Zhejiang Province, is used to demonstrate the effective application procedures of the planning and design mode.

Urban Garden Planning and Design and Ornamental Plant Protection

Due to the rapid economic and social development, the quality of life of people has been significantly improved, and peopled demand for living environment has become increasingjy high, which has increased peopled awareness of landscaping. Because of the development of urbankation, however, most cities have lost their balance in the ecological enviionment although they seem to have the modem flavor of life. Integrating garden design with plant protection is an important measure to protect the ecological environment and maintain ecological balance. How to protect the plants in urban garden planning and design has become a problem to be solved by garden designers. In this paper, the relationship between garden design and plant protection was ekbofated, the status quo and problems of ornamental plant protection were analyzed, and measures to protect ornamental plants were proposed.

The Explore of Landscape Planning and Design of Urban Complex Based on the Patch-Corridor-MatrixModel

As intensive urban organization form, urban complex emerged with the fast urbanization of our country. Based on the Patch-Corridor-Matrix model, the author analyzed urban complex landscape structure from the macro, meso and micro level, and also analyzed the relationship between urban complex and urban systems, the interact between functional patches, the landscape process and requirement of people from the three levels, proposed the main points of the planning and design of the environment landscape of urban complex, expect the study above can benefit urban complex＇s practice projects.

Color Planning and Design of Main Urban Districts of Xuzhou City

Through investigating colors of Xuzhou City, combining with color planning practices in domestic and foreign cities, current colors and characteristics of main urban districts of Xuzhou City were analyzed, overall orientation and design concept of city color were explored, the overall framework of regional building colors and the zoning planning were proposed, to give new concepts for the future city color planning and design.

Radio Network Planning and Optimization for 5G Telecommunication System Based on Physical Constraints

The paper mainly focuses on the network planning and optimization problem in the 5G telecommunication system based on the numerical investigation.There have been two portions of this work,such as network planning for efficient network models and optimization of power allocation in the 5G network.The radio network planning process has been completed based on a specific area.The data rate requirement can be solved by allowing the densification of the system by deploying small cells.The radio network planning scheme is the indispensable platform in arranging a wireless network that encounters convinced coverage method,capacity,and Quality of Service necessities.In this study,the eighty micro base stations and two-hundred mobile stations are deployed in the-15km×15km wide selected area in the Yangon downtown area.The optimization processes were also analyzed based on the source and destination nodes in the 5G network.The base stations’location is minimized and optimized in a selected geographical area with the linear programming technique and analyzed in this study.

Case-based intelligent computer aided design system of welding machinery

The procedure during complex system plan design of welding position-locating machine is studied in this paper. The main difficulties in designing welding position-locating machine utilizing computer are discussed as well. A method of case-based intelligent CAD system for welding position-locating machine ( WMICAD) is put forward through wide research on design methodology. Object-oriented programming method is also applied to Ms system. The basic idea and realizing method are described.

Landscape eco planning and design: concepts, a framework approach and case study

s—In the paper, the three main principles of Landscape Ecology are put forward, that is, Holism Principles, Temporal spatial Scales Principles and Level Organization Principles, Eco cybernetic Principles and Mosaic Stable Principles. It is considered that landscape ecological planning & design (LEPD) is guided by landscape ecological theory, and its basic aim is to create a sustainable landscape ecological system (LES). Furthermore, a framework approach of LEDP is established, and a case study with Zhuolu Basin is taken with the concepts and the approach.

A Bicycle Tourism Based Study on Planning and Designing of Urbanrural Recreational Greenway--A Case Study of Harbin City

The types of urban-rural recreational greenways were summarized,based on bicycle tourism and their planning methodology was explored.Taking the urban and rural areas of Harbin City as the research objects,the current situation of urban-rural recreational greenway environment and tourism resources was investigated and the evaluation system of bicycle tourism resources was established and tourism resources were evaluated according to the AHP-fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to select suitable resources for bicycle tourism.Through the ArcGIS software,the currently available resources(rivers,wetlands,transportations and urban-layout)and suitable bicycle tourism resources were superimposed,and the spatial pattern planning and classification planning of urban-rural recreational greenway based on bicycle tourism were carried out.To the end,insights for the development of urbanrural recreational greenway in the future were provided.

COMMUNITY BY DESIGN,BY THE PEOPLE:SOCIAL APPROACH TO DESIGNING AND PLANNING COHOUSING AND ECOVILLAGE COMMUNITIES

Synthesis Studio is an architectural,planning,and design consultancy practice,led by Barbora Baloghova and Gilo Holtzman,who work independently,developing each one’s interests and expertise while collaborating on various projects under the Synthesis Studio Brand.The studio’s mission is to excel in environmentally and socially sustainable building and planning practices,by research,design,and policy advocacy,and through collaboration with other professionals.In creating a community that works in harmony and reciprocity to its natural environment,we approach each site as an ecological system.Thus,the site layout and building design should perform in harmony with its surrounding environment and the needs of its future residents.For example,when planning and designing residential areas and buildings,we use research and implement the appropriate technologies in regard to waste management(grey water,composting,effluent)together with the form,location,orientation,shading,and social needs.Designing and planning places for people is a challenge.On the one hand,if prospective residents are not engaged in shaping their future residence,it means that places are created based on preconceived notions of how people ought to live,or how they should use a place or a space.On the other hand,working with many prospective residents means that an architect also needs to act as a facilitator,navigating through diverse thoughts and ideas and then translating them into physical form.The latter is achieved by prioritizing and understanding the importance of engaging with the community at various levels,from the group process of running meetings and decision-making to planning and design workshops.The overall aim is to demonstrate a range of planning and architectural solutions for progressive residential models both in rural and urban settings.The encouragement of a participatory process means that each participant/stakeholder becomes an important contributor to the planning and design process,and has some role in decision-making and is extremely important in achieving the best design for our immediate home and neighborhood environments.This process has been aptly named‘community by design and by the people’.

Space Resources Planning and Design of Rail Transit Station in Chongqing

According to the study on 39 sites of rail transit Line 3 in Chongqing, the sites are classifi ed into three types: residential type, business center type, traffi c hub type in this paper. The study shows that the sites have many problems such as discordance of land use, severity of spatial segregation, low rate of site utilization. To solve these problems, development approaches of site space resources within 1,000 m around the site area are further explored. The approaches include four aspects: characteristics of land use, functional composite, walking guide and shuttle transportation. In addition, appropriate planning and design methods are proposed.
