The objective of this research was to determine the mechanical parameter from EVA foam and also investigate its behavior by using Blatz-Ko,Neo-Hookean,Mooney model and experimental test.The physical characteristic of ...The objective of this research was to determine the mechanical parameter from EVA foam and also investigate its behavior by using Blatz-Ko,Neo-Hookean,Mooney model and experimental test.The physical characteristic of EVA foam was also evaluated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The results show that Blatz-Ko and Neo-Hookean model can fit the curve at 5%and 8%strain,respectively.The Mooney model can fit the curve at 50%strain.The modulus of rigidity evaluated from Mooney model is 0.0814±0.0027 MPa.The structure of EVA foam from SEM image shows that EVA structure is a closed cell with homogeneous porous structure.From the result,it is found that Mooney model can adjust the data better than other models.This model can be applied for mechanical response prediction of EVA foam and also for reference value in engineering application.展开更多

The pancreatic function tests more accurately determine the presence of CP than tests of structure, especially for early stage disease. The function tests can be divided into two categories: non- invasive and invasive. The invasive "tube" tests can reliably detect mild, early CP, but are only available at a few referral centers and tend to be poorly tolerated by patients. The non-invasive tests are easy to obtain, but tend to perform poorly in patients with early, mild disease. Therefore, no one test is useful in all clinical situations, and a detailed understanding of the rational, pathophysiologic basis, strengths, and limitations of various tests is needed. This review highlights the role of various pancreatic function tests in the diagnosis of CP including fecal fat analysis, fecal elastase, fecal chymotrypsin, serum trypsin, the secretin stimulation test, the cholecystokinin (CCK) stimulation test, the combined secretin-CCK stimulation test, the intraductal and endoscopic secretin stimulation tests, and the functional magnetic resonance imaging of the pancreas after secretin stimulation.展开更多

PFTs involve the administration of intravenous secretin or cholecystokinin, followed by ...Hormone-stimulated pancreatic function tests (PFTs) are considered the gold standard for measuring pancreatic exocrine function. PFTs involve the administration of intravenous secretin or cholecystokinin, followed by collection and analysis of pancreatic secretions. Because exocrine function may decline in the earliest phase of pancreatic fibrosis, PFTs are considered accurate for diagnosing chronic pancreatitis. Unfortunately, these potentially valuable tests are infrequently performed except at specialized centers, because they are time consuming and complicated. To overcome these limitations, endoscopic PFT methods have been developed which include aspiration of pancreatic secretions through the suction channel of the endoscope. The secretin endoscopic pancreatic function test (ePFT) involves collection of duodenal aspirates at 15, 30, 45 and 60 min after secretin stimulation. A bicarbonate concentration greater than 80 mmol/L in any of the samples is considered a normal result. The secretin ePFT has demonstrated good sensitivity and specificity compared with various reference standards, including the "Dreiling tube" secretin PFT, endoscopic ultrasound, and surgical histology. Furthermore, a standard autoanalyzer can be used for bicarbonate analysis, which allows the secretin ePFT to be performed at any hospital. The secretin ePFT may complement imaging tests like endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) in the diagnosis of early chronic pancreatitis.This paper will review the literature validating the use of ePFT in the diagnosis of exocrine insufficiency and chronic pancreatitis. Newer developments will also be discussed, including the feasibility of combined EUS/ ePFT, the use of cholecystokinin alone or in combination with secretin, and the discovery of new protein and lipid pancreatic juice biomarkers which may complement traditional fluid analysis.展开更多

In the experiment, SEM and EDS analysis indicated that B4C and SiC were decomposed, carbon was preferentially evaporated under high thermal load, and a part of Si and Cu were melted, in addition, the splash of melted metal and the particle emission of brittle destruction were also found. Schizophrenia(SZ)is one of the most common mental diseases.Its main characteristics are abnormal social behavior and inability to correctly understand real things.In recent years,the magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)tec...Schizophrenia(SZ)is one of the most common mental diseases.Its main characteristics are abnormal social behavior and inability to correctly understand real things.In recent years,the magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)technique has been popularly utilized to study SZ.However,it is still a great challenge to reveal the essential information contained in the MRI data.In this paper,we proposed a biomarker selection approach based on the multiple hypothesis testing techniques to explore the difference between SZ and healthy controls by using both functional and structural MRI data,in which biomarkers represent both abnormal brain functional connectivity and abnormal brain regions.By implementing the biomarker selection approach,six abnormal brain regions and twenty-three abnormal functional connectivity in the brains of SZ are explored.It is discovered that compared with healthy controls,the significantly reduced gray matter volumes are mainly distributed in the limbic lobe and the basal ganglia,and the significantly increased gray matter volumes are distributed in the frontal gyrus.Meanwhile,it is revealed that the significantly strengthened connections are those between the middle frontal gyrus and the superior occipital gyrus,the superior occipital gyrus and the middle occipital gyrus as well as the middle occipital gyrus and the fusiform gyrus,and the rest connections are significantly weakened.展开更多

The judgment on clinical body examination and chief complaint always causes nonobjective results with great individual differences. Quantitative sensory testing (QST) can be used to judge the nerve function of fibril. The application of QST for the quantitative evaluation of peripheral nervous system disease needs to be further studied. OBJECTIVE: The cold-thermal sensation and pain of patients with CSR are quantitatively analyzed by using QST technology in order to evaluate the nerve function of fibril in patients with CSR. DESIGN: Case-control observation. SETTING: Pain Center of Beijing Hospital of Ministry of Health. PARTICIPANTS: Twenty patients with CSR, including 8 males and 12 females, aged from 33 to 70 years, who received treatment between January and April 2005 in Pain Center of Beijing Hospital of Ministry of Health were involved in CSR group. All the involved patients presented symptoms in unilateral upper extremity (left side 10 patients, right side 10 patients). They did not undergo physical therapy or nerve block therapy in 1 week before examination. Eight non-CSR patients who received treatment in Pain Center concurrently were involved in the control group (2 patients with trigeminal neuralgia, 4 with osteoarthrosis of knee joint and 2 with lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion), and another 12 healthy volunteers were involved. Four non-CSR patients and 12 healthy volunteers, 8 male and 12 female, were aged from 23 to 75 years. The informed consents were obtained from all the involved subjects. METHODS: The volar thresholds of cold sensation, thermal sensation, cryalgesia of thenar eminence of both upper extremities of all the subjects were examined separately by limit method with type TSA-Ⅱ temperature sensation analysator made by Medco Company (Israel). The subjects were pre-examined to be familiar with the method for sensory discrimination and affirmation. Thenar eminence vola of bilateral upper extremities were detected. The infrared detector of a semiconductor was contacted with skin. The infrared detector could be used to heat and cool skin. A group of cold-heat water circulation device was given electric current to produce temperature gradient, which was higher or lower than skin temperature. The initial temperature of infrared detector was 32 ℃, stimulation temperature was increased or decreased progressively at 1 ℃/s, and temperature change range was 0 to 50 ℃. In the first step, subjects pressed down the button to stop the stimulation when the temperature of infrared detector was decreased progressively until the subjects felt, and the threshold of cold sensation was obtained; In the second step, the threshold of thermal sensation was obtained when the temperature of infrared detector was increased progressively until the subjects felt; In the third step, the threshold of cryalgesia was obtained when the temperature of infrared detector was decreased progressively until subjects felt; and in the fourth step, the threshold of thermalgesia was obtained when the temperature of infrared detector was increased progressively until subjects felt. Each step was conducted 4 times and the mean threshold was obtained. Before each measurement, the temperature was made to rebound to the initial temperature and kept for 10 s. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The thresholds of cold sensation, thermal sensation and cryalgesia, thermalgesia of thenar eminence vola of bilateral upper extremities of all the subjects. RESULTS: Twenty patients with CSR and 20 healthy subjects participated in the final results. ① In the CSR group, the threshold of cold sensation of affected side was lower than that of intact side [(29.00±1.26) ℃ vs.(30.00±1.06) ℃, P < 0.05], and the threshold of thermal sensation of affected side was higher than that of intact side [(35.04±0.87) ℃ vs. (34.14±0.99) ℃, P < 0.05]. There were no significant differences in the thresholds of cold and thermal sensation between affected side and intact side (P > 0.05). ②In the CSR group, the difference of threshold of cold sensation, thermal sensation, cryalgesia and thermalgesia between affected side and intact side was (-1.01±0.57), (0.89±0.39), (2.49±1.10) and (-1.62±0.86) ℃, respectively , the absolute value of which was higher than that of control group, respectively [(0.04±0.28),(0.05±0.26),(0.28±1.79),(0.17±1.10) ℃,P < 0.01]. In the CSR group, the threshold of cold sensation and thermalgesia of affected side was lower than that of intact side, respectively; and the threshold of thermal sensation and cryalgesia of affected side was higher than that of intact side, respectively. CONCLUSION: The superficial sensation of affected extremity of patients with CSR is lessened as compared with that of intact extremity. There are dysfunctions of small myelinated fiber (Aδ fiber) and demyelinated fiber (C fiber) in the affected-side extremity. QST, as a mean for quantitatively evaluating the function of Aδ fiber and C fiber, plays an objective evaluative role in the diagnosis and therapeutic effect observation of CSR.展开更多
The most prominent causes of loss of vision in individuals over 50 years include age-related macular degeneration(AMD),glaucoma,and diabetic retinopathy(DR).While it is important to screen for these diseases effective...The most prominent causes of loss of vision in individuals over 50 years include age-related macular degeneration(AMD),glaucoma,and diabetic retinopathy(DR).While it is important to screen for these diseases effectively,current eye care is not properly doing so for much of the population,resulting in unfortunate visual disability and high costs for patients.Innovative functional testing can be unified with other screening methods for a more robust and safer screening and prediction of disease.The goal in the creation of functional testing modalities is to develop highly sensitive screening tests that are easy to use,accessible to all users,and inexpensive.The tests herein are deployed on an iPad with easily understood and intuitive instructions for rapid,streamlined,and automatic administration.These testing modalities could become highly sensitive screenings for early detection of potentially blinding diseases.The applications from our collaborators at AMA Optics include a cone photostress recovery test for detection of AMD and diabetic macular edema(DME),brightness balance perception for optic nerve dysfunction and especially glaucoma,color vision testing which is a broad screening tool,and visual acuity test.Machine learning with the combined structural and functional data will optimize identification of disease and prediction of outcomes.Here,we review and assess various tests of visual function that are easily administered on a tablet for screening in primary care.These user-friendly and simple screening tests allow patients to be identified in the early stages of disease for referral to specialists,proper assessment and treatment.展开更多

Indeed, the most recent addition of the 'World Health Organisation (WHO) Laboratory Manual for the Examination and Processing of Hu- man Semen' now groups many of these procedures into a section termed Research Procedures. In large part, this reflects the current clinical practice of bypassing the in-depth evaluation of the male partner, while assuming that if a spermatozoon can be found for intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), it must be a healthy cell capable of achieving fertilization. Never- theless, sperm function testing can provide valuable clinical insights into defects causing male infertility. Admittedly, in some cases, functional sperm deficiencies can be overcome using an ART. In other cases, couples will be empowered by the knowledge of the cause of their infertility, and for some couples, perhaps even the likelihood of ICSI success (relative to the spermatozoa). The knowledge allows them to make truly informed reproductive decisions, including (perhaps) the de- cision to seek donor insemination, to adopt or to remain childless. Knowledge of the cause of their infertility may provide closure for couples and a sense of confidence regarding their choice of reproductive treatment.展开更多

To investigate the effects of patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA) with lornoxicam and fentanyl on arrhythmia and the expression of platelet membrane glycoproteins in patients with coronary artery disease (...To investigate the effects of patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA) with lornoxicam and fentanyl on arrhythmia and the expression of platelet membrane glycoproteins in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) after abdominal surgery.Methods Eighty ASA Ⅱ or Ⅲ patients with CAD aged 51~66 yrs weighing 59~68 kg presenting for abdominal surgery participated in this study.CAD was diagnosed by clinical symptoms and ischemic changes on ECG.The patients were premedicated with intramuscular henobarbital 0.1 g and scopolamine 0.3 mg.Anesthesia was induced with fentanyl,droperidol,propofol and vecuronium and maintained with propofol,fentanyl and vecuronium.The patients received PCIA after operation.The PCIA solution contained fentanyl 0.9 mg and droperidol 5 mg in 100 ml of normal saline (N.S.) in group A (n=40) or lornoxicam 56 mg,fentanyl 0.2 mg and droperidol 5 mg in 100 ml N.S. in group B (n=40).In group A the loading dose was fentanyl 0.05 mg and group B lornoxicam 4 mg.PCIA included a background infusion at 2 ml·h -1 and a bolus of 0.5 ml with a 15 min lock-out.VAS(0=no pain,10= worst pain) was used to measure pain intensity.In addition to BP,HR and SpO2 monitoring ECG was continuously monitored with a Holter monitor after operation.Blood samples were taken from peripheral vein before and 6 h after operation and on the 1st,2nd,7th and 8th postoperative days for determination of the expression of CD 62p ,CD 63 and CD 41 /CD 61 on the platelet membrane,platelet count,prothrombin time (PT) thrombin time (TT) and partial thromboplastin time (PTT).Results The two groups were comparable with respect to sex,age,body weight,severity of CAD,duration of operation and intraoperative blood loss.The patients received no blood transfusion during operation.There was no significant difference in VAS score,platelet count,PT,TT and PTT between the two groups.The incidence of atrial and ventricular premature beat on ECG and the expression of CD 41 /CD 61 ,CD 62p and CD 63 on the platelet membrane were significantly lower in group B than in group A on the 7th and 8th postoperative days(P<0.05 or 0.01).Conclusion Postoperative PCIA with lornoxicam and fentanyl can more effectively reduce the incidence of postoperative arrhythmia in patients with CAD.Suppression of activation of platelets by lornoxicam may contribute to the mechanism.10 refs,3 tabs.展开更多
AIM To examine the effect of high doses of vitamin C(VitC) on ex vivo human platelets(PLTs).METHODS Platelet concentrates collected for therapeutic or prophylactic transfusions were exposed to:(1) normal saline(contro...AIM To examine the effect of high doses of vitamin C(VitC) on ex vivo human platelets(PLTs).METHODS Platelet concentrates collected for therapeutic or prophylactic transfusions were exposed to:(1) normal saline(control);(2) 0.3 mmol/L VitC(Lo VitC); or(3) 3 mmol/L VitC(Hi VitC, final concentrations) and stored appropriately. The Vit C additive was preservative-free buffered ascorbic acid in water, pH 5.5 to 7.0, adjusted with sodium bicarbonate and sodium hydroxide. The doses of Vit C used here correspond to plasma Vit C levels reported in recently completed clinical trials. Prior to supplementation, a baseline sample was collected for analysis. PLTs were sampled again on days 2, 5 and 8 and assayed for changes in PLT function by: Thromboelastography(TEG), for changes in viscoelastic properties; aggregometry, for PLT aggregation and adenosine triphosphate(ATP) secretion in response to collagen or adenosine diphosphate(ADP); and flow cytometry, for changes in expression of CD-31, CD41 a, CD62 p and CD63. In addition, PLT intracellular Vit C content was measured using a fluorimetric assay for ascorbic acid and PLT poor plasma was used for plasma coagulation tests [prothrombin time(PT), partial thrombplastin time(PTT), functional fibrinogen] and Lipidomics analysis(UPLC ESI-MS/MS).RESULTS VitC supplementation significantly increased PLTs intracellular ascorbic acid levels from 1.2 mmol/L at baseline to 3.2 mmol/L(Lo VitC) and 15.7 mmol/L(Hi VitC, P < 0.05). VitC supplementation did not significantly change PT and PTT values, or functional fibrinogen levels over the 8 d exposure period(P > 0.05). PLT function assayed by TEG, aggregometry and flow cytometry was not significantly altered by Lo or Hi VitC for up to 5 d. However, PLTs exposed to 3 mmol/L VitC for 8 d demonstrated significantly increased R and K times by TEG and a decrease in the α-angle(P < 0.05). There was also a fall of 20 mm in maximum amplitude associated with the Hi VitC compared to both baseline and day 8 saline controls. Platelet aggregation studies, showed uniform declines in collagen and ADP-induced platelet aggregations over the 8-d study period in all three groups(P > 0.05). Collagen and ADP-induced ATP secretion was also not different between the three groups(P > 0.05). Finally, VitC at the higher dose(3 mmol/L) also induced the release of several eicosanoids including thromboxane B2 and prostaglandin E2, as well as products of arachidonic acid metabolism via the lipoxygenases pathway such as 11-/12-/15-hydroxyicosatetraenoic acid(P < 0.05).CONCLUSION Alterations in PLT function by exposure to 3 mmol/L VitC for 8 d suggest that caution should be exerted with prolonged use of intravenous high dose VitC.展开更多

The typical content of unit testing for the new organizing mode should have three aspects, including self-checking, cross-testing and independent-testing. For cross-testing, executing “pair-wise” mode, mainly tackles data testing, function testing and state testing, which function testing must be done by details and state testing must be considered for completeness. With the specializing of independent-testing, it should be taken as more rigid testing without arbitrariness. Consequently, strategy and measure are addressed for data testing focusing on boundary testing and function/state testing. And organizing method of procedure and key points of tackling unit testing are investigated for the new organizing mode. In order to assess the validity of our study and approach, a series of actual examples are demonstrated for GUI software. The result indicates that the execution of unit testing for the new organizing mode is effective and applicable.展开更多

Methods: A total of 132 patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis admitted in our hospital from September 2012 to May 2016 were randomly divided into control group (n=66) and observation group (n=66). The two groups were treated with routine treatment, such as reducing enzyme activity and protecting liver function. The control group was treated with lamivudine on the basis of routine treatment and the observation group was treated with entecavir. The changes of liver function, liver fibrosis, platelet index, PTA and HBV-DNA expression level in the two groups were compared. Results: Before treatment, there was no significant difference between alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), total bilirubin (TBIL), type III procollagen (PC III), laminin (LN), type IV collagen (IV-C), hyaluronidase (HA), platelet count (PLT), platelet distribution width (PDW), mean platelet volume (MPV), prothrombin activity (PTA) and hepatitis B virus RNA (HBV-DNA). After treatment, ALT, AST, TBIL, PC III, IV-C, LN and HA in both groups were significantly decreased than those before the treatment, and the decrease of PC III, IV -C, LN and HA in observation group was more significant than that of the control group;PLT and PTA in both groups were significantly increased than before treatment, while MPV, PDW and HBV-DNA were obviously decreased than before treatment, and PLT and PTA in the observation group were remarkably increased than control group, while MPV, PDW, and the control group were significantly lower than those in the control group. Conclusions: Entecavir in the treatment of hepatitis B liver cirrhosis, can reduce the HBV-DNA level, and then obviously enhance the liver function, inhibit the development of liver fibrosis, correct the abnormal platelet parameters and improve coagulation function.展开更多

The consequence of abnormal regulation can be either hemorrhage or the development of thrombosis. Qualitative and/or quantitative defects in platelets promote bleeding, whereas the residual reactivity of platelets, despite antiplatelet therapies, play an important role in promoting arterial thrombotic complications. Platelet function is traditionally assessed to investigate the origin of a bleeding syndrome, to predict the risk of bleeding prior surgery or during pregnancy or to monitor the efficacy of antiplatelet therapy in thrombotic syndromes that, now, can be considered a new discipline. "Old" platelet function laboratory tests such as the evaluation of bleeding time and the platelet aggregation analysis inplatelet-rich plasma are traditionally utilized to aid in the diagnosis and management of patients with platelet and hemostatic disorders and used as diagnostic tools both in bleeding and thrombotic diathesis in specialized laboratories. Now, new and renewed automated systems have been introduced to provide a simple, rapid assessment of platelet function including point of care methods. These new methodologies are also suitable for being used in non-specialized laboratories and in critical area for assessing platelet function in whole blood without the requirement of sample processing. Some of these methods are also beginning to be incorporated into routine clinical use and can be utilized as not only as first panel for the diagnosis of platelet dysfunction, but also for monitoring anti-platelet therapy and to potentially assess risk of both bleeding and/or thrombosis.展开更多
The digital substation system consists of an Intelligent Electronic Device (IED) which requires information for the supervision, protection, and control, as well as a client operating system for substation operation. ...The digital substation system consists of an Intelligent Electronic Device (IED) which requires information for the supervision, protection, and control, as well as a client operating system for substation operation. IEC 61850 communication standard has been defined for information exchange between heterogeneous digital devices in such substations. Currently, the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) digital substation system uses unbuffered reporting and Generic Object Oriented Substation Events (GOOSE) communication functions for monitoring, protection and control automation. However, it is expected that the Setting Group function will be needed to operate adaptive intelligent substation system. The Setting Group function is advantageous in that it is possible to change the setting of the IED in one unified way through the client operating system, rather than changing the correction value of an IED through different manufacturer-based engineering tools. In order to utilize the Setting Group function of the IED in real substation scenario, it is necessary to test both the communication function with the host operating device and the electric functional test to ensure that correction value is properly changed. In this paper, we introduce the IEC 61850 Setting Group function, and propose a method that can integrate communication function and electrical function test of an IED conforming to the setting group functionality. We also tested the Setting Group function of the actual IED device through the proposed integrated functional test method and analyzed the results. We were able to simplify the process of testing both the electrical and communication signals in digital substations.展开更多
Objective: The aim of this preliminary study was to evaluate the feasibility of exercise testing (ET) for predicting postoperative complications in patients with impaired pulmonary function. Methods: Thirteen patients...Objective: The aim of this preliminary study was to evaluate the feasibility of exercise testing (ET) for predicting postoperative complications in patients with impaired pulmonary function. Methods: Thirteen patients were prospectively enrolled. The enrollment criteria were FEV1.0% 8 by the Goddard classification or interstitial pneumonia on chest computed tomography. Patients underwent testing for pulmonary function, six-minute walking test (6MWT), and stair-climbing test (SCT). Postoperative cardiopulmonary complications (PCPCs) were recorded. Results: Four patients developed PCPCs. There were no significant differences between the patients with PCPCs (n = 4) and those without PCPCs (n = 9) for background data and PFT. The distances achieved in the 6MWT were 503 ± 72.7 m for patients without PCPCs and 369 ± 50.7 m for patients with PCPCs (p = 0.011). The SCT climbing heights were 20.4 ± 5.3 m for patients without PCPCs and 14.9 ± 4.0 m for patients with PCPCs (P = 0.187). Cut-off points, including a 6MFT distance of less than 400 m, SCT height lower than 15 m, and SCT climbing speed less than 8.5 m/min, were predictive of CPCP. Conclusions: Exercise testing is more feasible for predicting postoperative cardiopulmonary complications than stationary pulmonary function testing.展开更多

Methods: A t...Objective: To explore the effects of Ticagrelor on oxidative stress, coagulation function, platelet function and related factors in patients with coronary artery disease undergoing interventional therapy. Methods: A total of 140 patients with coronary artery disease who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention in our hospital from October 2016 to March 2018 were selected as the study subjects and were divided into control group (70 cases) and observation group (70 cases) by drawing lots. Both groups were treated with symptomatic routine therapy before operation. On this basis, the control group was treated with clopidogrel before operation, and the observation group was treated with Ticagrelor before operation on the basis of routine treatment. The changes of oxidative stress, coagulation index, platelet function and related factors were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results: Before treatment, there were no significant differences in oxidative stress factors, coagulation parameters, platelet parameters and related factors factors between the two groups. After treatment, the levels of MDA, MPAR, VEGF and MMP-9 in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, while the levels of SOD, APTT, TT and PT were higher than those before treatment;and the levels of MDA, MPAR, VEGF, MMP-9, APTT and PT in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group after treatment, while the levels fo SOD, TT and IPA in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group. Conclusions: Ticagrelor can better reduce oxidative stress injury, improve coagulation function and coronary stenosis, and inhibit platelet aggregation in patients with coronary heart disease undergoing PCI than clopidogrel. Methods: A total of 68 patients with preeclampsi...Objective: To investigate the effects of antiplatelet drug combined with magnesium sulfate on platelet function and trophoblast apoptosis in patients with preeclampsia. Methods: A total of 68 patients with preeclampsia who were treated in this hospital between September 2016 and September 2017 were chosen as the research subjects and divided into the control group (n=34) and the study group (n=34) by the random number table method. Control group received magnesium sulfate spasmolysis, and study group received low-dose aspirin combined with magnesium sulfate therapy. The differences in the levels of platelet function parameters as well as the expression levels of apoptosis-related genes and invasion-related genes in placental tissues were compared between the two groups of patients after treatment. Results:After treatment, the platelet function parameter PLT level in study group was higher than that in control group whereas MPV and PDW levels were lower than those in control group;pro-apoptosis genes Caspase-3, p53 and bax mRNA expression levels in placental tissues were lower than those of control group whereas anti-apoptosis gene bcl-2 mRNA expression level was higher than that of control group;pro-invasion genes MMP-2, MMP-9 and CXCL16 mRNA expression levels in placental tissues were higher than those of control group whereas anti-invasion genes RECK and DPPⅣ mRNA expression levels were lower than those of control group. Conclusion: Low-dose aspirin combined with magnesium sulfate treatment of patients with preeclampsia can effectively optimize the platelet function and inhibit the apoptosis of placental trophoblast cells and promote their invasion function.展开更多

文摘The objective of this research was to determine the mechanical parameter from EVA foam and also investigate its behavior by using Blatz-Ko,Neo-Hookean,Mooney model and experimental test.The physical characteristic of EVA foam was also evaluated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The results show that Blatz-Ko and Neo-Hookean model can fit the curve at 5%and 8%strain,respectively.The Mooney model can fit the curve at 50%strain.The modulus of rigidity evaluated from Mooney model is 0.0814±0.0027 MPa.The structure of EVA foam from SEM image shows that EVA structure is a closed cell with homogeneous porous structure.From the result,it is found that Mooney model can adjust the data better than other models.This model can be applied for mechanical response prediction of EVA foam and also for reference value in engineering application.
文摘The diagnosis of Chronic Pancreatitis (CP) is based on the detection of abnormal structure or function of the diseased pancreas. The pancreatic function tests more accurately determine the presence of CP than tests of structure, especially for early stage disease. The function tests can be divided into two categories: non- invasive and invasive. The invasive "tube" tests can reliably detect mild, early CP, but are only available at a few referral centers and tend to be poorly tolerated by patients. The non-invasive tests are easy to obtain, but tend to perform poorly in patients with early, mild disease. Therefore, no one test is useful in all clinical situations, and a detailed understanding of the rational, pathophysiologic basis, strengths, and limitations of various tests is needed. This review highlights the role of various pancreatic function tests in the diagnosis of CP including fecal fat analysis, fecal elastase, fecal chymotrypsin, serum trypsin, the secretin stimulation test, the cholecystokinin (CCK) stimulation test, the combined secretin-CCK stimulation test, the intraductal and endoscopic secretin stimulation tests, and the functional magnetic resonance imaging of the pancreas after secretin stimulation.
文摘Hormone-stimulated pancreatic function tests (PFTs) are considered the gold standard for measuring pancreatic exocrine function. PFTs involve the administration of intravenous secretin or cholecystokinin, followed by collection and analysis of pancreatic secretions. Because exocrine function may decline in the earliest phase of pancreatic fibrosis, PFTs are considered accurate for diagnosing chronic pancreatitis. Unfortunately, these potentially valuable tests are infrequently performed except at specialized centers, because they are time consuming and complicated. To overcome these limitations, endoscopic PFT methods have been developed which include aspiration of pancreatic secretions through the suction channel of the endoscope. The secretin endoscopic pancreatic function test (ePFT) involves collection of duodenal aspirates at 15, 30, 45 and 60 min after secretin stimulation. A bicarbonate concentration greater than 80 mmol/L in any of the samples is considered a normal result. The secretin ePFT has demonstrated good sensitivity and specificity compared with various reference standards, including the "Dreiling tube" secretin PFT, endoscopic ultrasound, and surgical histology. Furthermore, a standard autoanalyzer can be used for bicarbonate analysis, which allows the secretin ePFT to be performed at any hospital. The secretin ePFT may complement imaging tests like endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) in the diagnosis of early chronic pancreatitis.This paper will review the literature validating the use of ePFT in the diagnosis of exocrine insufficiency and chronic pancreatitis. Newer developments will also be discussed, including the feasibility of combined EUS/ ePFT, the use of cholecystokinin alone or in combination with secretin, and the discovery of new protein and lipid pancreatic juice biomarkers which may complement traditional fluid analysis.
文摘B4C, SiC and C, Cu functionally graded-materials (FGMs) have been developed by plasma spraying and hot pressing. Their high-heat flux properties have been investigated by high energy laser and electron beam for the simulation of plasma disruption process of the future fusion reactors, And a study on eroded products of B4C/Cu FGM under transient thermal load of electron beam was performed. In the experiment, SEM and EDS analysis indicated that B4C and SiC were decomposed, carbon was preferentially evaporated under high thermal load, and a part of Si and Cu were melted, in addition, the splash of melted metal and the particle emission of brittle destruction were also found. Different erosive behaviors of carbon-based materials (CBMs) caused by laser and electron beam were also discussed.
文摘Tests of preoperative visual function and prediction of postoperative E chart visual acuity(ECVA) using laser interferometric visual acuity(LIVA) and electroretinogram(ERG) were performed in 16 cases(19 eyes) of cataract. The results showed that the coincident rate between preoperative LIVA and postoperative ECVA was 63.2%, and there was a parallel correlation between preoperative amplitude of photopic ERG b-wave and postoperative ECVA in 79.0% of the eyes. 文摘Schizophrenia(SZ)is one of the most common mental diseases.Its main characteristics are abnormal social behavior and inability to correctly understand real things.In recent years,the magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)technique has been popularly utilized to study SZ.However,it is still a great challenge to reveal the essential information contained in the MRI data.In this paper,we proposed a biomarker selection approach based on the multiple hypothesis testing techniques to explore the difference between SZ and healthy controls by using both functional and structural MRI data,in which biomarkers represent both abnormal brain functional connectivity and abnormal brain regions.By implementing the biomarker selection approach,six abnormal brain regions and twenty-three abnormal functional connectivity in the brains of SZ are explored.It is discovered that compared with healthy controls,the significantly reduced gray matter volumes are mainly distributed in the limbic lobe and the basal ganglia,and the significantly increased gray matter volumes are distributed in the frontal gyrus.Meanwhile,it is revealed that the significantly strengthened connections are those between the middle frontal gyrus and the superior occipital gyrus,the superior occipital gyrus and the middle occipital gyrus as well as the middle occipital gyrus and the fusiform gyrus,and the rest connections are significantly weakened.
文摘BACKGROUND: Pain and sensory disability are greatly affected by subjective factors, there are no quantitative indexes to evaluate cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(CSR). The judgment on clinical body examination and chief complaint always causes nonobjective results with great individual differences. Quantitative sensory testing (QST) can be used to judge the nerve function of fibril. The application of QST for the quantitative evaluation of peripheral nervous system disease needs to be further studied. OBJECTIVE: The cold-thermal sensation and pain of patients with CSR are quantitatively analyzed by using QST technology in order to evaluate the nerve function of fibril in patients with CSR. DESIGN: Case-control observation. SETTING: Pain Center of Beijing Hospital of Ministry of Health. PARTICIPANTS: Twenty patients with CSR, including 8 males and 12 females, aged from 33 to 70 years, who received treatment between January and April 2005 in Pain Center of Beijing Hospital of Ministry of Health were involved in CSR group. All the involved patients presented symptoms in unilateral upper extremity (left side 10 patients, right side 10 patients). They did not undergo physical therapy or nerve block therapy in 1 week before examination. Eight non-CSR patients who received treatment in Pain Center concurrently were involved in the control group (2 patients with trigeminal neuralgia, 4 with osteoarthrosis of knee joint and 2 with lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion), and another 12 healthy volunteers were involved. Four non-CSR patients and 12 healthy volunteers, 8 male and 12 female, were aged from 23 to 75 years. The informed consents were obtained from all the involved subjects. METHODS: The volar thresholds of cold sensation, thermal sensation, cryalgesia of thenar eminence of both upper extremities of all the subjects were examined separately by limit method with type TSA-Ⅱ temperature sensation analysator made by Medco Company (Israel). The subjects were pre-examined to be familiar with the method for sensory discrimination and affirmation. Thenar eminence vola of bilateral upper extremities were detected. The infrared detector of a semiconductor was contacted with skin. The infrared detector could be used to heat and cool skin. A group of cold-heat water circulation device was given electric current to produce temperature gradient, which was higher or lower than skin temperature. The initial temperature of infrared detector was 32 ℃, stimulation temperature was increased or decreased progressively at 1 ℃/s, and temperature change range was 0 to 50 ℃. In the first step, subjects pressed down the button to stop the stimulation when the temperature of infrared detector was decreased progressively until the subjects felt, and the threshold of cold sensation was obtained; In the second step, the threshold of thermal sensation was obtained when the temperature of infrared detector was increased progressively until the subjects felt; In the third step, the threshold of cryalgesia was obtained when the temperature of infrared detector was decreased progressively until subjects felt; and in the fourth step, the threshold of thermalgesia was obtained when the temperature of infrared detector was increased progressively until subjects felt. Each step was conducted 4 times and the mean threshold was obtained. Before each measurement, the temperature was made to rebound to the initial temperature and kept for 10 s. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The thresholds of cold sensation, thermal sensation and cryalgesia, thermalgesia of thenar eminence vola of bilateral upper extremities of all the subjects. RESULTS: Twenty patients with CSR and 20 healthy subjects participated in the final results. ① In the CSR group, the threshold of cold sensation of affected side was lower than that of intact side [(29.00±1.26) ℃ vs.(30.00±1.06) ℃, P < 0.05], and the threshold of thermal sensation of affected side was higher than that of intact side [(35.04±0.87) ℃ vs. (34.14±0.99) ℃, P < 0.05]. There were no significant differences in the thresholds of cold and thermal sensation between affected side and intact side (P > 0.05). ②In the CSR group, the difference of threshold of cold sensation, thermal sensation, cryalgesia and thermalgesia between affected side and intact side was (-1.01±0.57), (0.89±0.39), (2.49±1.10) and (-1.62±0.86) ℃, respectively , the absolute value of which was higher than that of control group, respectively [(0.04±0.28),(0.05±0.26),(0.28±1.79),(0.17±1.10) ℃,P < 0.01]. In the CSR group, the threshold of cold sensation and thermalgesia of affected side was lower than that of intact side, respectively; and the threshold of thermal sensation and cryalgesia of affected side was higher than that of intact side, respectively. CONCLUSION: The superficial sensation of affected extremity of patients with CSR is lessened as compared with that of intact extremity. There are dysfunctions of small myelinated fiber (Aδ fiber) and demyelinated fiber (C fiber) in the affected-side extremity. QST, as a mean for quantitatively evaluating the function of Aδ fiber and C fiber, plays an objective evaluative role in the diagnosis and therapeutic effect observation of CSR.

文摘The most prominent causes of loss of vision in individuals over 50 years include age-related macular degeneration(AMD),glaucoma,and diabetic retinopathy(DR).While it is important to screen for these diseases effectively,current eye care is not properly doing so for much of the population,resulting in unfortunate visual disability and high costs for patients.Innovative functional testing can be unified with other screening methods for a more robust and safer screening and prediction of disease.The goal in the creation of functional testing modalities is to develop highly sensitive screening tests that are easy to use,accessible to all users,and inexpensive.The tests herein are deployed on an iPad with easily understood and intuitive instructions for rapid,streamlined,and automatic administration.These testing modalities could become highly sensitive screenings for early detection of potentially blinding diseases.The applications from our collaborators at AMA Optics include a cone photostress recovery test for detection of AMD and diabetic macular edema(DME),brightness balance perception for optic nerve dysfunction and especially glaucoma,color vision testing which is a broad screening tool,and visual acuity test.Machine learning with the combined structural and functional data will optimize identification of disease and prediction of outcomes.Here,we review and assess various tests of visual function that are easily administered on a tablet for screening in primary care.These user-friendly and simple screening tests allow patients to be identified in the early stages of disease for referral to specialists,proper assessment and treatment.
文摘Sperm function testing, once commonly performed for the infertile couple before employing assisted reproductive technology (ART), has fallen out of favour in many reproductive medicine centers throughout the world. Indeed, the most recent addition of the 'World Health Organisation (WHO) Laboratory Manual for the Examination and Processing of Hu- man Semen' now groups many of these procedures into a section termed Research Procedures. In large part, this reflects the current clinical practice of bypassing the in-depth evaluation of the male partner, while assuming that if a spermatozoon can be found for intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), it must be a healthy cell capable of achieving fertilization. Never- theless, sperm function testing can provide valuable clinical insights into defects causing male infertility. Admittedly, in some cases, functional sperm deficiencies can be overcome using an ART. In other cases, couples will be empowered by the knowledge of the cause of their infertility, and for some couples, perhaps even the likelihood of ICSI success (relative to the spermatozoa). The knowledge allows them to make truly informed reproductive decisions, including (perhaps) the de- cision to seek donor insemination, to adopt or to remain childless. Knowledge of the cause of their infertility may provide closure for couples and a sense of confidence regarding their choice of reproductive treatment.

文摘In order to deal with the limitations during the register transfer level verification, a new functional verification method based on the random testing for the system-level of system-on-chip is proposed.The validity of this method is proven theoretically.Specifically, testcases are generated according to many approaches of randomization.Moreover, the testbench for the system-level verification according to the proposed method is designed by using advanced modeling language.Therefore, under the circumstances that the testbench generates testcases quickly, the hardware/software co-simulation and co-verification can be implemented and the hardware/software partitioning planning can be evaluated easily.The comparison method is put to use in the evaluation approach of the testing validity.The evaluation result indicates that the efficiency of the partition testing is better than that of the random testing only when one or more subdomains are covered over with the area of errors, although the efficiency of the random testing is generally better than that of the partition testing.The experimental result indicates that this method has a good performance in the functional coverage and the cost of testing and can discover the functional errors as soon as possible.
文摘To investigate the effects of patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA) with lornoxicam and fentanyl on arrhythmia and the expression of platelet membrane glycoproteins in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) after abdominal surgery.Methods Eighty ASA Ⅱ or Ⅲ patients with CAD aged 51~66 yrs weighing 59~68 kg presenting for abdominal surgery participated in this study.CAD was diagnosed by clinical symptoms and ischemic changes on ECG.The patients were premedicated with intramuscular henobarbital 0.1 g and scopolamine 0.3 mg.Anesthesia was induced with fentanyl,droperidol,propofol and vecuronium and maintained with propofol,fentanyl and vecuronium.The patients received PCIA after operation.The PCIA solution contained fentanyl 0.9 mg and droperidol 5 mg in 100 ml of normal saline (N.S.) in group A (n=40) or lornoxicam 56 mg,fentanyl 0.2 mg and droperidol 5 mg in 100 ml N.S. in group B (n=40).In group A the loading dose was fentanyl 0.05 mg and group B lornoxicam 4 mg.PCIA included a background infusion at 2 ml·h -1 and a bolus of 0.5 ml with a 15 min lock-out.VAS(0=no pain,10= worst pain) was used to measure pain intensity.In addition to BP,HR and SpO2 monitoring ECG was continuously monitored with a Holter monitor after operation.Blood samples were taken from peripheral vein before and 6 h after operation and on the 1st,2nd,7th and 8th postoperative days for determination of the expression of CD 62p ,CD 63 and CD 41 /CD 61 on the platelet membrane,platelet count,prothrombin time (PT) thrombin time (TT) and partial thromboplastin time (PTT).Results The two groups were comparable with respect to sex,age,body weight,severity of CAD,duration of operation and intraoperative blood loss.The patients received no blood transfusion during operation.There was no significant difference in VAS score,platelet count,PT,TT and PTT between the two groups.The incidence of atrial and ventricular premature beat on ECG and the expression of CD 41 /CD 61 ,CD 62p and CD 63 on the platelet membrane were significantly lower in group B than in group A on the 7th and 8th postoperative days(P<0.05 or 0.01).Conclusion Postoperative PCIA with lornoxicam and fentanyl can more effectively reduce the incidence of postoperative arrhythmia in patients with CAD.Suppression of activation of platelets by lornoxicam may contribute to the mechanism.10 refs,3 tabs.

文摘AIM To examine the effect of high doses of vitamin C(VitC) on ex vivo human platelets(PLTs).METHODS Platelet concentrates collected for therapeutic or prophylactic transfusions were exposed to:(1) normal saline(control);(2) 0.3 mmol/L VitC(Lo VitC); or(3) 3 mmol/L VitC(Hi VitC, final concentrations) and stored appropriately. The Vit C additive was preservative-free buffered ascorbic acid in water, pH 5.5 to 7.0, adjusted with sodium bicarbonate and sodium hydroxide. The doses of Vit C used here correspond to plasma Vit C levels reported in recently completed clinical trials. Prior to supplementation, a baseline sample was collected for analysis. PLTs were sampled again on days 2, 5 and 8 and assayed for changes in PLT function by: Thromboelastography(TEG), for changes in viscoelastic properties; aggregometry, for PLT aggregation and adenosine triphosphate(ATP) secretion in response to collagen or adenosine diphosphate(ADP); and flow cytometry, for changes in expression of CD-31, CD41 a, CD62 p and CD63. In addition, PLT intracellular Vit C content was measured using a fluorimetric assay for ascorbic acid and PLT poor plasma was used for plasma coagulation tests [prothrombin time(PT), partial thrombplastin time(PTT), functional fibrinogen] and Lipidomics analysis(UPLC ESI-MS/MS).RESULTS VitC supplementation significantly increased PLTs intracellular ascorbic acid levels from 1.2 mmol/L at baseline to 3.2 mmol/L(Lo VitC) and 15.7 mmol/L(Hi VitC, P < 0.05). VitC supplementation did not significantly change PT and PTT values, or functional fibrinogen levels over the 8 d exposure period(P > 0.05). PLT function assayed by TEG, aggregometry and flow cytometry was not significantly altered by Lo or Hi VitC for up to 5 d. However, PLTs exposed to 3 mmol/L VitC for 8 d demonstrated significantly increased R and K times by TEG and a decrease in the α-angle(P < 0.05). There was also a fall of 20 mm in maximum amplitude associated with the Hi VitC compared to both baseline and day 8 saline controls. Platelet aggregation studies, showed uniform declines in collagen and ADP-induced platelet aggregations over the 8-d study period in all three groups(P > 0.05). Collagen and ADP-induced ATP secretion was also not different between the three groups(P > 0.05). Finally, VitC at the higher dose(3 mmol/L) also induced the release of several eicosanoids including thromboxane B2 and prostaglandin E2, as well as products of arachidonic acid metabolism via the lipoxygenases pathway such as 11-/12-/15-hydroxyicosatetraenoic acid(P < 0.05).CONCLUSION Alterations in PLT function by exposure to 3 mmol/L VitC for 8 d suggest that caution should be exerted with prolonged use of intravenous high dose VitC.
文摘In this paper, the new organization for unit testing embedding pair-wise mode is proposed with the core thought focused on the cooperation of programmer and tester by “cross-testing”. The typical content of unit testing for the new organizing mode should have three aspects, including self-checking, cross-testing and independent-testing. For cross-testing, executing “pair-wise” mode, mainly tackles data testing, function testing and state testing, which function testing must be done by details and state testing must be considered for completeness. With the specializing of independent-testing, it should be taken as more rigid testing without arbitrariness. Consequently, strategy and measure are addressed for data testing focusing on boundary testing and function/state testing. And organizing method of procedure and key points of tackling unit testing are investigated for the new organizing mode. In order to assess the validity of our study and approach, a series of actual examples are demonstrated for GUI software. The result indicates that the execution of unit testing for the new organizing mode is effective and applicable.
文摘Objective: To explore the effect of entecavir on platelet function, PTA and HBV-DNA levels in patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis. Methods: A total of 132 patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis admitted in our hospital from September 2012 to May 2016 were randomly divided into control group (n=66) and observation group (n=66). The two groups were treated with routine treatment, such as reducing enzyme activity and protecting liver function. The control group was treated with lamivudine on the basis of routine treatment and the observation group was treated with entecavir. The changes of liver function, liver fibrosis, platelet index, PTA and HBV-DNA expression level in the two groups were compared. Results: Before treatment, there was no significant difference between alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), total bilirubin (TBIL), type III procollagen (PC III), laminin (LN), type IV collagen (IV-C), hyaluronidase (HA), platelet count (PLT), platelet distribution width (PDW), mean platelet volume (MPV), prothrombin activity (PTA) and hepatitis B virus RNA (HBV-DNA). After treatment, ALT, AST, TBIL, PC III, IV-C, LN and HA in both groups were significantly decreased than those before the treatment, and the decrease of PC III, IV -C, LN and HA in observation group was more significant than that of the control group;PLT and PTA in both groups were significantly increased than before treatment, while MPV, PDW and HBV-DNA were obviously decreased than before treatment, and PLT and PTA in the observation group were remarkably increased than control group, while MPV, PDW, and the control group were significantly lower than those in the control group. Conclusions: Entecavir in the treatment of hepatitis B liver cirrhosis, can reduce the HBV-DNA level, and then obviously enhance the liver function, inhibit the development of liver fibrosis, correct the abnormal platelet parameters and improve coagulation function.
文摘In the event of blood vessel damage, human platelets are promptly recruited on the site of injury and, after their adhesion, activation and aggregation, prevent blood loss with the formation of a clot. The consequence of abnormal regulation can be either hemorrhage or the development of thrombosis. Qualitative and/or quantitative defects in platelets promote bleeding, whereas the residual reactivity of platelets, despite antiplatelet therapies, play an important role in promoting arterial thrombotic complications. Platelet function is traditionally assessed to investigate the origin of a bleeding syndrome, to predict the risk of bleeding prior surgery or during pregnancy or to monitor the efficacy of antiplatelet therapy in thrombotic syndromes that, now, can be considered a new discipline. "Old" platelet function laboratory tests such as the evaluation of bleeding time and the platelet aggregation analysis inplatelet-rich plasma are traditionally utilized to aid in the diagnosis and management of patients with platelet and hemostatic disorders and used as diagnostic tools both in bleeding and thrombotic diathesis in specialized laboratories. Now, new and renewed automated systems have been introduced to provide a simple, rapid assessment of platelet function including point of care methods. These new methodologies are also suitable for being used in non-specialized laboratories and in critical area for assessing platelet function in whole blood without the requirement of sample processing. Some of these methods are also beginning to be incorporated into routine clinical use and can be utilized as not only as first panel for the diagnosis of platelet dysfunction, but also for monitoring anti-platelet therapy and to potentially assess risk of both bleeding and/or thrombosis.
文摘The digital substation system consists of an Intelligent Electronic Device (IED) which requires information for the supervision, protection, and control, as well as a client operating system for substation operation. IEC 61850 communication standard has been defined for information exchange between heterogeneous digital devices in such substations. Currently, the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) digital substation system uses unbuffered reporting and Generic Object Oriented Substation Events (GOOSE) communication functions for monitoring, protection and control automation. However, it is expected that the Setting Group function will be needed to operate adaptive intelligent substation system. The Setting Group function is advantageous in that it is possible to change the setting of the IED in one unified way through the client operating system, rather than changing the correction value of an IED through different manufacturer-based engineering tools. In order to utilize the Setting Group function of the IED in real substation scenario, it is necessary to test both the communication function with the host operating device and the electric functional test to ensure that correction value is properly changed. In this paper, we introduce the IEC 61850 Setting Group function, and propose a method that can integrate communication function and electrical function test of an IED conforming to the setting group functionality. We also tested the Setting Group function of the actual IED device through the proposed integrated functional test method and analyzed the results. We were able to simplify the process of testing both the electrical and communication signals in digital substations.
文摘Objective: The aim of this preliminary study was to evaluate the feasibility of exercise testing (ET) for predicting postoperative complications in patients with impaired pulmonary function. Methods: Thirteen patients were prospectively enrolled. The enrollment criteria were FEV1.0% 8 by the Goddard classification or interstitial pneumonia on chest computed tomography. Patients underwent testing for pulmonary function, six-minute walking test (6MWT), and stair-climbing test (SCT). Postoperative cardiopulmonary complications (PCPCs) were recorded. Results: Four patients developed PCPCs. There were no significant differences between the patients with PCPCs (n = 4) and those without PCPCs (n = 9) for background data and PFT. The distances achieved in the 6MWT were 503 ± 72.7 m for patients without PCPCs and 369 ± 50.7 m for patients with PCPCs (p = 0.011). The SCT climbing heights were 20.4 ± 5.3 m for patients without PCPCs and 14.9 ± 4.0 m for patients with PCPCs (P = 0.187). Cut-off points, including a 6MFT distance of less than 400 m, SCT height lower than 15 m, and SCT climbing speed less than 8.5 m/min, were predictive of CPCP. Conclusions: Exercise testing is more feasible for predicting postoperative cardiopulmonary complications than stationary pulmonary function testing.
文摘Objective: To explore the effects of Ticagrelor on oxidative stress, coagulation function, platelet function and related factors in patients with coronary artery disease undergoing interventional therapy. Methods: A total of 140 patients with coronary artery disease who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention in our hospital from October 2016 to March 2018 were selected as the study subjects and were divided into control group (70 cases) and observation group (70 cases) by drawing lots. Both groups were treated with symptomatic routine therapy before operation. On this basis, the control group was treated with clopidogrel before operation, and the observation group was treated with Ticagrelor before operation on the basis of routine treatment. The changes of oxidative stress, coagulation index, platelet function and related factors were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results: Before treatment, there were no significant differences in oxidative stress factors, coagulation parameters, platelet parameters and related factors factors between the two groups. After treatment, the levels of MDA, MPAR, VEGF and MMP-9 in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, while the levels of SOD, APTT, TT and PT were higher than those before treatment;and the levels of MDA, MPAR, VEGF, MMP-9, APTT and PT in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group after treatment, while the levels fo SOD, TT and IPA in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group. Conclusions: Ticagrelor can better reduce oxidative stress injury, improve coagulation function and coronary stenosis, and inhibit platelet aggregation in patients with coronary heart disease undergoing PCI than clopidogrel. It has clinical popularization significance.
文摘Objective: To investigate the effects of antiplatelet drug combined with magnesium sulfate on platelet function and trophoblast apoptosis in patients with preeclampsia. Methods: A total of 68 patients with preeclampsia who were treated in this hospital between September 2016 and September 2017 were chosen as the research subjects and divided into the control group (n=34) and the study group (n=34) by the random number table method. Control group received magnesium sulfate spasmolysis, and study group received low-dose aspirin combined with magnesium sulfate therapy. The differences in the levels of platelet function parameters as well as the expression levels of apoptosis-related genes and invasion-related genes in placental tissues were compared between the two groups of patients after treatment. Results:After treatment, the platelet function parameter PLT level in study group was higher than that in control group whereas MPV and PDW levels were lower than those in control group;pro-apoptosis genes Caspase-3, p53 and bax mRNA expression levels in placental tissues were lower than those of control group whereas anti-apoptosis gene bcl-2 mRNA expression level was higher than that of control group;pro-invasion genes MMP-2, MMP-9 and CXCL16 mRNA expression levels in placental tissues were higher than those of control group whereas anti-invasion genes RECK and DPPⅣ mRNA expression levels were lower than those of control group. Conclusion: Low-dose aspirin combined with magnesium sulfate treatment of patients with preeclampsia can effectively optimize the platelet function and inhibit the apoptosis of placental trophoblast cells and promote their invasion function.
