Approaching Digital Economy from the Perspective of Political Economics

Digital economy is a more advanced and sustainable cconomic form.Information and communication technology(ICT),as the core technology,has played an unprecedented role in promoting the development of social economy in all aspects.This paper firstly explains the concept of digital economy based on economics,and then analyzes the social reproduction process of digital information products and the characteristics of digital industry before proceeding to discuss the features of the micro-entities of digital economy and the sharing economy by adopting the basic principle of political economics.The emergence of digital economy poses challenges to the traditional economics and there is a pressing need for theoretical research and innovation to explain the new economic phenomenon.

Political and Economic Analysis of the South Silk Road： from a Transportation Safety Perspective

With a long history, the South Silk Road has been and will continue to be an important corridor of economic, political, cultural and religious exchange between Southwest China and Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, West Asia and Europe. The transportation corridor established by the South Silk Road has both important strategic significance and value for China's transportation safety, and the potential to bring huge political and economic benefits to our country. However, all kinds of challenges and threats need to be dealt with in order for it to achieve strategic value and play the role of a transportation corridor, thereby ensuring China's strategic security.

Research on the Contribution of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference in Promoting the Construction of the Chengdu- Chongqing Economic Circle

The influence applied by the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC)in promoting the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle cannot be ignored.At present,the Sichuan Committee of CPPCC and Chongqing Committee of CPPCC are actively participating in the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle by building collaborative platforms,conducting joint consultations,and holding consultations on special issues.From three aspects,namely the unique advantages of the CPPCC,the fact that full consultation between CPPCCs in different regions is conducive to coordinating the interests of local governments of the same level,and that fact that it is also conducive to promoting inter-governmental cooperation,this article elaborates on the necessity of the contribution of the CPPCC in promoting the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and discusses four paths for the CPPCC’s promotion of the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle:Strengthening the Communist Party of China’s leadership over the political consultation work of the CPPCC,using the CPPCC to consolidate the consensus of“a Sichuan-Chongqing close family,”innovating the form,content,and objects of democratic supervision,and building the information exchange mechanisms between the CPPCCs of Sichuan and Chongqing.

BASIC EQUATIONS, THEORY AND PRINCIPLE OF COMPUTATIONAL STOCK MARKET (Ⅲ)—BASIC THEORIES

By basic equations, two basic theories are presented: 1.Theory of stock's value v *(t)=v *(0) exp (ar * 2t); 2. Theory of conservation of stock's energy. Let stock's energy be defined as a quadratic function of stock's price v and its derivative , =Av 2+ Bv+C 2+Dv, under the constraint of basic equation, the problem was reduced to a problem of constrained optimization along optimal path. Using Lagrange multiplier and Euler equation of variation method, it can be proved that keeps conservation for any v,. The application of these equations and theories on judgement and analysis of tendency of stock market are given, and the judgement is checked to be correct by the recorded tendency of Shenzhen and Shanghai stock markets.

The Profound Changes Unseen in a Century: The Perspective of Overlapping Effect of Technological Revolution Cycle and Political & Economic Thought Cycle

The waves of technological revolution can lead to great differences in the economic and social structures of countries and have a destructive impact. The choice of political and economic thoughts can amplify or inhibit such differentiation and impact. Over the past 100 years, humankind has undergone three technological revolutions, and the mainstream political and economic thoughts have experienced a cycle from classical liberalism to various types of anti-liberalism and finally to neoliberalism. In the two liberal periods, the overlap of liberalism and a technological revolution caused sharp contradictions between the rich and the poor, leading to profound economic adjustment and great political and social turmoil worldwide. In the non-liberal period, however, the overlapping effects were relatively mild. Currently, the world is facing similar trends and risks as during 1914-1940. Whether humankind will repeat the same mistakes merits attention and vigilance. This study argues that it is necessary to oppose unilateralism, uphold multilateralism, and advance globalization and free trade under the concept of collaborative development and shared prosperity, as well as explore comprehensive and sustainable development. These are of great significance for human society to prevent risks, obtain advantages and avoid disadvantages, and maintain world peace and development.

Balance through Agglomeration： A Race between Geography and Policy in China＇s Regional Development

Changes in regional income gaps in China reflect the role of both the market and the government in the Chinese economy. Since 2003, government policies have aimed to distribute more resources to less developed areas. Although this process is accompanied by a narrowing interregional income gap, it does not represent real ＂convergence＂ between regions. From the perspective of spatial-political economics, the free movement of people is helpful to realize regional economic balance through agglomeration, while investment policies that deviate from the comparative advantage of less developed regions may lead to spatial misallocation of resources and unsustainable economic growth. In order to achieve further integration and development in the Chinese economy in the future, restrictions to the flow of production factors must be alleviated so that the market can truly become a decisive force for the allocation of resources.

Research on the Scientific Connotation of New Development Pattern

General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important exposition on building the new development pattern is an important theoretical viewpoint of socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics.The theory is to understand and reveal the objective law of the development of things,which requires us to use the theoretical method of economics to demonstrate the understanding and grasp of the objective law of the economy.The ideological source of the important exposition on new development pattern can only be explored in Marxist theory.Marx’s surplus value theory is based on an analysis of the economic cycle of capitalist domestic production,distribution,circulation and consumption,and reveals the general law of socialized mass production.The important exposition on the new development pattern is precisely the application,innovation and development of this scientific principle under the condition of socialist economy.Scholars should not examine,understand or explain the objective requirement of“taking the domestic market as the mainstay”from the perspective of“dependence on foreign trade”.An empirical study on the contribution of China’s three major demands to economic growth shows that the important judgment on the new development pattern not only reveals the basic characteristics of China’s economic development,but also points out its future trend.That“domestic and overseas markets reinforce each other”is not only a summary of China’s historical practice in its economic interaction with the rest of the world,but also denies the one-sided theoretical viewpoint in Western mainstream international economics,and reveals the objective law of the dynamic balance between China and the open world economy on the basis of pluralistic balance.The important exposition on the new development pattern also contains the main contents of how to implement the new development philosophy and deepen the reform inevitable in building a modern socialist country in the new development stage.It is the theoretical cornerstone of the guilding ideology of deepening reform.
