In this paper,we investigate a downlink port selection and power allocation scheme in Distributed Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (D-MIMO) systems,where Distributed Antenna (DA) ports randomly locate in the cell. The contri-bution of this paper can be summarized as two parts. Firstly,we analyze how antenna correlation af-fects power allocation in D-MIMO systems. Secondly,based on large scale fading and antenna corre-lation,a low-complexity port selection and power allocation scheme is proposed. In the proposed scheme,we take both large scale fading and antenna correlation into consideration. Moreover,User Equipment (UE) only needs to feedback the rank of transmit antenna correlation matrix,which will not increase system complexity too much. Consequently, several modifications of this method have been described, whereas laparoscopic fundoplication was recently introduced. Although single incision(SI) fundoplication was considered as an alternative to the conventional laparoscopic approach, several studies reported an increased operation duration, and high rates of multiport conversion and incisional hernia.AIM To provide a current overview of the technical variations and the postoperative outcomes of patients submitted to SI fundoplication.METHODS The present systematic review of the literature was designed and conducted on the basis of the PRISMA guidelines. A systematic screening of the electronic scholar databases(Medline, Scopus and Web of Science) was performed.RESULTS Literature search resulted in the identification of 19 studies. Overall, 266, 137 and110 SI Nissen, Dor and Toupet fundoplications were reported, respectively. In the majority of the trials, standard laparoscopic instruments were used. The left liver lobe was displayed through the use of forceps, graspers, retractors, drains or even glue. Both intra-corporeal and extracorporeal suturing was described. Mean operative time was 136.3 min. Overall complication rate was 5.2% and the rate of incisional hernia was 0.9%. No mortality was reported.CONCLUSIONDue to the methodological heterogeneity and the lack of high quality studies comparing multi to single access techniques and the several variations, we conclude that further well designed studies are necessary, in order to evaluate the role of SI fundoplication.展开更多

In this study, a port machine diagnosis expert system is proposed based on multi-reasoning mechanism. Relying on the knowledge acquired from the experienced experts in the port machine engineering, the system builds a library of relative experience and a set of rules of reasoning and estimating. Multi-reasoning mechanism that simulates the decision-making process of domain experts is employed to achieve reliable diagnosis results. The reasoning machine integrates artificial neural network, uncertain decision making and decision tree, which complements each other by sustainable growing voting mechanism. The effect of this multi-reasoning mechanism is evaluated and validated by means of Matthew's Correlation Coefficient (MCC). The system incorporating the mechanism is successfully designed, implemented and applied in Shanghai Port.展开更多
NIDS(Network Intrusion Detection Systems)plays a vital role in security threats to computers and networks.With the onset of gigabit networks,hardware-based Intrusion Detection System gains popularity because of its hi...NIDS(Network Intrusion Detection Systems)plays a vital role in security threats to computers and networks.With the onset of gigabit networks,hardware-based Intrusion Detection System gains popularity because of its high performance when compared to the software-based NIDS.The software-based system limits parallel execution,which in turn confines the performance of a modern network.This paper presents a signature-based lookup technique using reconfigurable hardware.Content Addressable Memory(CAM)is used as a lookup table architecture to improve the speed instead of search algorithms.To minimize the power and to increase the speed,pre-computation based CAM(PBCAM)can be used,as this technique avoids repeated search comparisons.PBCAM employs the two-stage comparison with a parameter memory in the first stage and data memory in the second stage.Only the matched data in the parameter memory are compared in the data memory.This reduces the number of comparisons,thereby increasing the speed of the system.In this work dual-port RAM-based PBCAM(DP-PBCAM)is used to design a signature-based intrusion detection system.A low power parameter extractor is used with a minimum number of gates for precomputation.The hardware implementation is done using Xilinx Spartan 3E FPGA.The proposed DP-PBCAM lookups support a gigabit-speed of 7.42 Gbps.展开更多
Overcoming the global sustainability challenges of logistics requires applying solutions that minimize the negative effects of logistics activities.The most efficient way of doing so is through intermodal transportati...Overcoming the global sustainability challenges of logistics requires applying solutions that minimize the negative effects of logistics activities.The most efficient way of doing so is through intermodal transportation(IT).Current IT systems rely mostly on road,rail,and sea transport,not inland waterway transport.Developing dry port(DP)terminals has been proven as a sustainable means of promoting and utilizing IT in the hinterland of seaport container terminals.Conventional DP systems consolidate container flows from/to seaports and integrate road and rail transportation modes in the hinterland which improves the sustainability of the whole logistics system.In this article,to extend literature on the sustainable development of different categories of IT terminals,especially DPs,and their varying roles,we examine the possibility of developing DP terminals within the framework of inland waterway container terminals(IWCTs).Establishing combined road–rail–inland waterway transport for observed container flows is expected to make the IT systems sustainable.As such,this article is the first to address the modelling of such DP systems.After mathematically formulating the problem of modelling DP systems,which entailed determining the number and location of DP terminals for IWCTs,their capacity,and their allocation of container flows,we solved the problem with a hybrid metaheuristic model based on the Bee Colony Optimisation(BCO)algorithmand themeasurement of alternatives and ranking according to compromise solution(i.e.,MARCOS)multi-criteria decision-making method.The results from our case study of the Danube region suggest that planning and developingDP terminals in the framework of IWCTs can indeed be sustainable,as well as contribute to the development of logistics networks,the regionalisation of river ports,and the geographic expansion of their hinterlands.Thus,the main contributions of this article are in proposing a novel DP concept variant,mathematically formulating the problems of its modelling,and developing an encompassing hybrid metaheuristic approach for treating the complex nature of the problem adequately.展开更多

Determining the transport process of hazards is necessary to establish guidelines for remediating the contaminated area. This work aims to investigate the migration of potassium dichromate and butanone in the coastal soil-groundwater system through a coupling unsaturated-saturated numerical model, incorporating the HYDRUS model into the MODFLOW/ MT3D model. In the unsaturated zone, two-dimensional HYDRUS model was applied, and its recharge flux at the bottom boundary was utilized as the input of MODFLOW/MT3D model in the saturated zone. Results showed that Cr2O^(2-)7 migrated much faster than butanone in the unsaturated zone and reached the water table in about 1 year. In comparison, butanone was unlikely to enter the aquifer even 5 years later with a migration depth of about 2.2 m. Driven by groundwater, the Cr2O^(2-)7 that entered the aquifer migrated about 161 m toward southeast 5 years later. In the saturated zone, the contamination plume covered mainly the southeast area due to the groundwater flow direction.展开更多
Electro-hydraulic proportional valve is the core control valve in many hydraulic systems used in agricultural and engineering machinery.To address the problem related to the large throttling losses and poor stability ...Electro-hydraulic proportional valve is the core control valve in many hydraulic systems used in agricultural and engineering machinery.To address the problem related to the large throttling losses and poor stability typically associated with these valves,here,the beneficial effects of a triangular groove structure on the related hydraulic response are studied.A mathematical model of the pressure compensation system based on the power-bond graph method is introduced,and the AMESim software is used to simulate its response.The results show that the triangular groove structure increases the jet angle and effectively compensates for the hydrodynamic force.The steady-state differential pressure at the valve port of the new pressure compensation structure was 0.65 MPa.Furthermore,experimental results show that the pressure difference at the main valve port is 0.73 MPa,and that the response time is less than 0.2 s.It is concluded that the new compensation structure has good pressure compensation response characteristics.展开更多

Background: Studies have suggested epidemiological transition in the mortality pattern in Nigeria from communicable to non-communicable diseases of which Diseases of the cardiovascular system (DCVS) is prime. DCVS is?...Background: Studies have suggested epidemiological transition in the mortality pattern in Nigeria from communicable to non-communicable diseases of which Diseases of the cardiovascular system (DCVS) is prime. DCVS is?thus a growing public health concern but its mortality profile is under-studied?in Port Harcourt. This study was therefore designed to review the mortality profile of DCVS in Port Harcourt. Methodology: A retrospective case controlled study of deaths ascribed to DCVS at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) between January 2012 and December 2017. The composite diseases were grouped using the ICD10 scheme and analyzed using SPSS version 23. Minitab version 16 was used for trend analysis. Results: Of the overall 1902 deaths recorded within the period, 566 (29.8%) were cardiovascular system related. Of these, 301 (53.3%) were males and 265 (46.7%) were females. The elderly of 50 - 99 years were most commonly affected (65.5% of the mortalities). Cerebrovascular accidents (CVA) accounted for 322 deaths (56.9%);various types of shock caused 116 deaths (20.5%) while?congestive cardiac failure (CCF) accounted for 114 deaths (20.1%). Pulmonary?embolism, myocardial infarction, carotid aneurysm, and hypertensive encephalopathy caused 1.8%, 0.4%, 0.2%, and 0.2% deaths respectively. Peak annual mortality of 143 (25.3%) was recorded in 2013. Although the trend of mortality was undulating, there was an overall increase in annual incidence over the years.?Conclusion: DCVS constitute the commonest systemic cause?of death in Port Harcourt. Governmental and donor agencies involved in public health policy planning and implementation should scale-up strategies for the prevention and control of DCVS in order to stem the rising tide of associated mortalities.展开更多

Heat and mass transfer of a circular-shaped porous moist object inside a two-dimensional triangle cavity is investigated by using finite element method.The porous object is considered to be a moist food sample,located...Heat and mass transfer of a circular-shaped porous moist object inside a two-dimensional triangle cavity is investigated by using finite element method.The porous object is considered to be a moist food sample,located in the middle of the cavity with inlet and outlet ports with different configurations of inlet/outlet ports.Convective drying performance is numerically assessed for different values of Reynolds numbers(between 50 and 250),dry air inlet temperature(between 40 and 80℃)and different locations of the port.It is observed that changing the port locations has significant impacts on the flow recirculaitons inside the triangular chamber while convective drying performance is highly affected.The moisture content reduces with longer time and for higher Reynolds number(Re)values.Case P4 where inlet and outlet ports are in the middle of the walls provides the most effective configuration in terms of convective drying performance while the worst case is seen for P1 case where inlet and outlet are closer to the corners of the chamber.There is a 192% difference between the moisture reduction of these two cases at Re=250,T=80℃ and t=120 min.展开更多
To protect the sustainability of the benefits from seas and near coastal areas,which have under the effect of the very complex hydrodynamic conditions and intensive human activities,without disrupting the balance of n...To protect the sustainability of the benefits from seas and near coastal areas,which have under the effect of the very complex hydrodynamic conditions and intensive human activities,without disrupting the balance of nature,it is necessary to image the status of the seafloor features.Therefore,this study presents the deformations,depositional conditions,underwater constructions,and the other non-natural impacts on the seafloor of the nearshore area at western Istanbul(between Küçükçekmece and Büyükçekmece lagoons)where it intensely used by the citizens.The results of the study may provide some guidance for understanding the impacts and risk factors of uses that are or will be conducted in coastal and/or near-coastal areas.Construction planning for civil coastal structures and areas should be done in great harmony with nature,minimizing negative environmental impacts.Although sediment distribution in the area is generally quite complex,the current state of the region,wave action,hydrodynamic conditions,the amount of material transported from the land,and bathymetry are important influencing factors.The seafloor has been damaged primarily by anchor deformation and associated bottom scanning,as well as disturbing trawl tracks.The seafloor was observed as partially shallowing near the constructions(such as natural gas pipelines,fishermen’s shelter,and port piles)of coastal areas and associated with sand deposits.Therefore,scanning the seafloor using side-scan sonar may provide valuable frequency data to prevent future disruptions.展开更多

文摘NIDS(Network Intrusion Detection Systems)plays a vital role in security threats to computers and networks.With the onset of gigabit networks,hardware-based Intrusion Detection System gains popularity because of its high performance when compared to the software-based NIDS.The software-based system limits parallel execution,which in turn confines the performance of a modern network.This paper presents a signature-based lookup technique using reconfigurable hardware.Content Addressable Memory(CAM)is used as a lookup table architecture to improve the speed instead of search algorithms.To minimize the power and to increase the speed,pre-computation based CAM(PBCAM)can be used,as this technique avoids repeated search comparisons.PBCAM employs the two-stage comparison with a parameter memory in the first stage and data memory in the second stage.Only the matched data in the parameter memory are compared in the data memory.This reduces the number of comparisons,thereby increasing the speed of the system.In this work dual-port RAM-based PBCAM(DP-PBCAM)is used to design a signature-based intrusion detection system.A low power parameter extractor is used with a minimum number of gates for precomputation.The hardware implementation is done using Xilinx Spartan 3E FPGA.The proposed DP-PBCAM lookups support a gigabit-speed of 7.42 Gbps.
文摘Overcoming the global sustainability challenges of logistics requires applying solutions that minimize the negative effects of logistics activities.The most efficient way of doing so is through intermodal transportation(IT).Current IT systems rely mostly on road,rail,and sea transport,not inland waterway transport.Developing dry port(DP)terminals has been proven as a sustainable means of promoting and utilizing IT in the hinterland of seaport container terminals.Conventional DP systems consolidate container flows from/to seaports and integrate road and rail transportation modes in the hinterland which improves the sustainability of the whole logistics system.In this article,to extend literature on the sustainable development of different categories of IT terminals,especially DPs,and their varying roles,we examine the possibility of developing DP terminals within the framework of inland waterway container terminals(IWCTs).Establishing combined road–rail–inland waterway transport for observed container flows is expected to make the IT systems sustainable.As such,this article is the first to address the modelling of such DP systems.After mathematically formulating the problem of modelling DP systems,which entailed determining the number and location of DP terminals for IWCTs,their capacity,and their allocation of container flows,we solved the problem with a hybrid metaheuristic model based on the Bee Colony Optimisation(BCO)algorithmand themeasurement of alternatives and ranking according to compromise solution(i.e.,MARCOS)multi-criteria decision-making method.The results from our case study of the Danube region suggest that planning and developingDP terminals in the framework of IWCTs can indeed be sustainable,as well as contribute to the development of logistics networks,the regionalisation of river ports,and the geographic expansion of their hinterlands.Thus,the main contributions of this article are in proposing a novel DP concept variant,mathematically formulating the problems of its modelling,and developing an encompassing hybrid metaheuristic approach for treating the complex nature of the problem adequately.

文摘After the Tianjin Port 8.12 explosion, an enormous amount of potassium dichromate (K2Cr2O7) and butanone (CH3COCH2CH3) leaked into the coastal soil-groundwater system, which potentially threatened the environment and human health. Determining the transport process of hazards is necessary to establish guidelines for remediating the contaminated area. This work aims to investigate the migration of potassium dichromate and butanone in the coastal soil-groundwater system through a coupling unsaturated-saturated numerical model, incorporating the HYDRUS model into the MODFLOW/ MT3D model. In the unsaturated zone, two-dimensional HYDRUS model was applied, and its recharge flux at the bottom boundary was utilized as the input of MODFLOW/MT3D model in the saturated zone. Results showed that Cr2O^(2-)7 migrated much faster than butanone in the unsaturated zone and reached the water table in about 1 year. In comparison, butanone was unlikely to enter the aquifer even 5 years later with a migration depth of about 2.2 m. Driven by groundwater, the Cr2O^(2-)7 that entered the aquifer migrated about 161 m toward southeast 5 years later. In the saturated zone, the contamination plume covered mainly the southeast area due to the groundwater flow direction.

文摘Electro-hydraulic proportional valve is the core control valve in many hydraulic systems used in agricultural and engineering machinery.To address the problem related to the large throttling losses and poor stability typically associated with these valves,here,the beneficial effects of a triangular groove structure on the related hydraulic response are studied.A mathematical model of the pressure compensation system based on the power-bond graph method is introduced,and the AMESim software is used to simulate its response.The results show that the triangular groove structure increases the jet angle and effectively compensates for the hydrodynamic force.The steady-state differential pressure at the valve port of the new pressure compensation structure was 0.65 MPa.Furthermore,experimental results show that the pressure difference at the main valve port is 0.73 MPa,and that the response time is less than 0.2 s.It is concluded that the new compensation structure has good pressure compensation response characteristics.

How to scientifically manage the entire system of product, precisely master the condition of quantity and quality and analyze the rules of the change of produc t quality in order to carry out the overall control of quality, guarantee the go od condition of product as well as improve product quality and prolong it’s se rvice life was discussed in this thesis. Based on the above research the thesis also discussed how to develop the study on product quality information and const ruct it’s decision making support system. The concrete measures to improve peopl e’s concept of quality are also raised. Based on the type analysis, scientific management of product quality information should start from dynamic information of quality, instruction information as we ll as the information about the use, maintain, management and conservation of pr oduct, and induce them and further propose a design scheme of feedback system on product quality information, and then set up the blueprint of the information s ystem of product quality. This thesis included 7 chapters:1.the type of quality information;2.the content of quality information;3.the construction of the se nsitive web for transfering information, and collecting and transfering quality information rapidly and effectively;4.the way and procedure to transfer informa tion;5.the construction of quality information library for all phases; 6.the d isposal of quality information;7.the decision making support system of the mana gement of quality information;8.attach importance to three key factors on impro ving quality concept.
文摘Background: Studies have suggested epidemiological transition in the mortality pattern in Nigeria from communicable to non-communicable diseases of which Diseases of the cardiovascular system (DCVS) is prime. DCVS is?thus a growing public health concern but its mortality profile is under-studied?in Port Harcourt. This study was therefore designed to review the mortality profile of DCVS in Port Harcourt. Methodology: A retrospective case controlled study of deaths ascribed to DCVS at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) between January 2012 and December 2017. The composite diseases were grouped using the ICD10 scheme and analyzed using SPSS version 23. Minitab version 16 was used for trend analysis. Results: Of the overall 1902 deaths recorded within the period, 566 (29.8%) were cardiovascular system related. Of these, 301 (53.3%) were males and 265 (46.7%) were females. The elderly of 50 - 99 years were most commonly affected (65.5% of the mortalities). Cerebrovascular accidents (CVA) accounted for 322 deaths (56.9%);various types of shock caused 116 deaths (20.5%) while?congestive cardiac failure (CCF) accounted for 114 deaths (20.1%). Pulmonary?embolism, myocardial infarction, carotid aneurysm, and hypertensive encephalopathy caused 1.8%, 0.4%, 0.2%, and 0.2% deaths respectively. Peak annual mortality of 143 (25.3%) was recorded in 2013. Although the trend of mortality was undulating, there was an overall increase in annual incidence over the years.?Conclusion: DCVS constitute the commonest systemic cause?of death in Port Harcourt. Governmental and donor agencies involved in public health policy planning and implementation should scale-up strategies for the prevention and control of DCVS in order to stem the rising tide of associated mortalities.
文摘This paper proposes the design scheme of Integration Management and Control System (IMCS) using the integration and optimization design theory of port cranes’ management and control system based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Process Control System (PCS). The functions, interface and software design of the three sub-modules of IMCS are presented. Outcomes of this research are being employed to practical port cranes’ operation and management, which eliminates the island phenomenon of cranes’ storage and application conditions between the management and control department. Hence, IMCS makes the integrated automatic port cranes system come true and it significantly improves the core competitiveness of the port.

Since it is difficult to establish detailed math model to control a textile mill's airconditioning system because of the influence of various factors such as the differences in seasons, regions, etc., most air-conditioning equipment can not be controlled automatically. This paper suggests utilizing multi-function data acquisRion card to collect the data about the temperature and humidity of a workshop, processing the data on a PC, comparing them with the expert database, and then using the 485 serial port expanding module to output the parameters, which are used to control the inverter, so that the purpose of adjusting the temperature and humidity of the workshop is achieved.
文摘Heat and mass transfer of a circular-shaped porous moist object inside a two-dimensional triangle cavity is investigated by using finite element method.The porous object is considered to be a moist food sample,located in the middle of the cavity with inlet and outlet ports with different configurations of inlet/outlet ports.Convective drying performance is numerically assessed for different values of Reynolds numbers(between 50 and 250),dry air inlet temperature(between 40 and 80℃)and different locations of the port.It is observed that changing the port locations has significant impacts on the flow recirculaitons inside the triangular chamber while convective drying performance is highly affected.The moisture content reduces with longer time and for higher Reynolds number(Re)values.Case P4 where inlet and outlet ports are in the middle of the walls provides the most effective configuration in terms of convective drying performance while the worst case is seen for P1 case where inlet and outlet are closer to the corners of the chamber.There is a 192% difference between the moisture reduction of these two cases at Re=250,T=80℃ and t=120 min.
文摘To protect the sustainability of the benefits from seas and near coastal areas,which have under the effect of the very complex hydrodynamic conditions and intensive human activities,without disrupting the balance of nature,it is necessary to image the status of the seafloor features.Therefore,this study presents the deformations,depositional conditions,underwater constructions,and the other non-natural impacts on the seafloor of the nearshore area at western Istanbul(between Küçükçekmece and Büyükçekmece lagoons)where it intensely used by the citizens.The results of the study may provide some guidance for understanding the impacts and risk factors of uses that are or will be conducted in coastal and/or near-coastal areas.Construction planning for civil coastal structures and areas should be done in great harmony with nature,minimizing negative environmental impacts.Although sediment distribution in the area is generally quite complex,the current state of the region,wave action,hydrodynamic conditions,the amount of material transported from the land,and bathymetry are important influencing factors.The seafloor has been damaged primarily by anchor deformation and associated bottom scanning,as well as disturbing trawl tracks.The seafloor was observed as partially shallowing near the constructions(such as natural gas pipelines,fishermen’s shelter,and port piles)of coastal areas and associated with sand deposits.Therefore,scanning the seafloor using side-scan sonar may provide valuable frequency data to prevent future disruptions.
