Since the programmatic document for the greenway construction in 9 cities of the Pear River Delta-Greenway Network Master Planning Outline for the Pearl River Delta was issued, greenway construction has been launched in all regions. This study proposed background of greenway study and problems in current greenway construction, analyzed the advanced overseas cases about networking and ecologicalization of greenways, and summarized their successful experience and their enlightenment for domestic greenway planning.
