Teaching Reform and Practice of Data Structure Course Based on Smart Teaching Platform

With the rapid development of information technology,smart teaching platforms have become important tools for higher education teaching reform.As a core course of computer science and technology-related majors in higher education,the data structure course lays a solid foundation for students’professional learning and plays an important role in promoting their future success in technology,research,and industry.This study conducts an in-depth analysis of the pain points faced by the data structure course,and explores a teaching reform and practice of integration of theory and practice based on the system application of a smart teaching platform before class,during class,and after class.The reform practice shows that this teaching mode improves students’learning initiative,learning motivation,and practical skills.Students not only achieved better results in knowledge mastery but also significantly improved in problem analysis and solution.

Research on the Construction of Electrical and Electronic Experimental Teaching Platforms in Higher Vocational Colleges

With the advancement of vocational education reform,education informationization,and digitalization have become the important direction of the reform of electrical and electronic teaching in high vocational colleges.In this context,intelligent product development of professional electrical and electronic teaching should also do a good job in practice and innovation,especially in actively building a digital experimental teaching platform and promoting the reform of experimental teaching mode,so that students can learn more useful knowledge and skills in the new platform,and cultivate more applied and skilled talents for society.While analyzing the problems existing in the traditional electrical and electronic experimental teaching mode,this paper analyzes the significance and practical path of the construction of electrical and electronic experimental teaching platforms in higher vocational colleges which can be of reference in future research.

Research on the Concept of Fairness in the Practice of Higher Education

With the continuous development of society, the problems related to education have become the focus of people’s attention, especially the equity of higher education, which can affect not only the sustainable and steady development of higher education, but also the stability of society. This paper mainly discusses the present situation of higher education equity in China and the analysis of factors affecting higher education equity, and summarizes some trends of the development of higher education equity and then puts forward some measures to promote the development of higher education equity.

Analysis and Practice of ＂Idea, Team, and Evaluation＂ in the Educational Reform of Higher Vocational Colleges

In order to meet the actual needs of higher vocational colleges＇ art and design program on the refbrm of specialized courses, the change from assignments to art works and the concept of art products is proposed in this paper, so as to enhance the standards of art products from time, satisfaction, and originality. Then, the idea of ＂synchronously training personal ability with the spirit of team work＂ is introduced. Also, the key points in the practice of course evaluation organization and management are mainly expounded through the applicableness of evaluation types, the standard of the evaluation process, and the diversity of evaluation and rewards forms.

Exploration of Professional Practice Teaching Skill of Higher Vocational English Education

Higher vocational English education major is an important channel to train teaching staff for primary and secondary schools of China and professional skill is one of essential factors which forms the training goal of higher vocational English education.In view of this, this article summarizes the current status of practice teaching of higher vocational English education which aims to explore a set of teaching ideas, teaching modes and teaching theories that suit professional skills training practice of higher vocational education, so as to find some effective teaching methods for professional skill training practice to meet the social requirements for the graduates and pave the way for their future employment.

The Curriculum and Education System of Hong Kong Tourism Higher Education -- Taking Hong Kong Polytech University as an example

Hong Kong Polytech University is the representative of tourism higher education in Hong Kong, offering various courses in hotel management and tourism management at the Doctor, Masters and Bachelor levels, whose curriculum and education system have been quite perfect. The PolyU has cultivated a large number of high-quality professional people for the hotel and tourism industry. Excellent teachers, modem curriculum and the education concept of attaching great importance to the practice are the reasons why it can cultivate senior executives with international perspective, skills and social responsibility.

Higher Diploma Program in Eitiopian Higher Education:Instructors'Perception and Perceived Practices in Jimma University and Jimma College of Teachers Education

The study investigates the perception and perceived practices of Higher Diploma program(HDP)in the Jimma University and|imma College of teachers'education using a cross-sectional survey design comprised of questionnaire and interviews.The data were collected from 91 instructors,and 3 higher diploma leaders(HDLs)who were selected through lottery sampling and 2 higher diploma coordinators(HDCs)who were selected using availability sampling methods.The finding revealed the importance:of the HDP(M=4.3,SD=0.91)though the perception of the HEI instructors.differ before coming,and after coming to the HDP.Though the study indicated as the trained instructors are applying the knowledge and skill,which they have acquired from the HDP training,the HEIs are not following the actual practices of the training.The study found out that the HE instructors'perception had a significant correlation with the practices of HDP(r=694,p=0.00<0.01)having a moderate effect size(8-0.48).The findings call for the proper implementation of the HDP for the betterment of the program and to achieve the intentions of the HDP.

动画专业《Flash动画制作》课程改革探索

本文运用文献资料法、访谈法、问卷等方法,就目前中国动画专业《Flash动画制作》课程的教学方法进行改革探索。Flash是一款应用于网络建设、多媒体设计、动画制作等多方向的软件。而动画专业中学习与探索的方向应有不同,或者说应更贴近动画专业的实际情况。而在实际的教学应用中,传统的方式不能很好地适应动画专业要求,不能紧贴动画课程。

Comparative Study of Internationalized Talent Cultivation Models in International Higher Education Programs

The internationalization of talent cultivation in the field of international higher education is a widely discussed topic among higher education institutions worldwide.This paper conducts a comparative study of domestic and foreign higher education institutions and identifies some differences in the internationalization of talent cultivation among different countries and regions.Firstly,the study summarizes the changes in talent cultivation through domestic study abroad programs and overseas study programs.Then,this paper introduces the“Knowledge-Practice-Research”international talent cultivation model in China and the international talent cultivation model in Japan as an example.Finally,this study compares the international talent cultivation models in domestic and foreign higher education institutions.The results indicate that the internationalization of talent cultivation models needs to be adjusted according to different training objectives,specific countries,and even regional circumstances to adapt to local characteristics and the international environment.Overall,different countries and regions have different emphases and characteristics in the internationalization of talent cultivation in higher education institutions.However,regardless of the country,higher education institutions should focus on enhancing students’international perspectives and cross-cultural communication skills to adapt to the globalized economic and social environment.

Study on the Factors Affecting the Ability of Higher Vocational College Students in Practical English Test

Strategies on Curriculum Reform of Hotel Management by Integrating Theory and Practice into Teaching

Integrating theory and practice into teaching is an advanced pedagogy, particularly suitable for the cultivation of applied talents in higher vocational colleges. In this paper, the author first discusses the connotation of the teaching method as integration of theory and practice and illustrates the background and significance of employing this teaching method in the curriculum reform of hotel management in higher vocational colleges. After that, the teaching content, methods as well as evaluation system are elaborated for implementing the integration of theory and practice teaching, and finally, some countermeasures are put forward for improving this teaching method.

Crucial, But not Systematically Investigated: Rock Glaciers, the Concealed Water Reservoirs of the Himalayas: An Opinion

The current article is an opinion on the sensitivity of high mountain regions which are the most fragile,sensitive and vulnerable to ongoing climate change.Its impacts are especially severe on the high mountain communities owing to their weak socio-economic profile,limited livelihood resources and agricultural land.The melting of glaciers and changes in the snow cover under the climate change scenario is leading to the scarcity of freshwater supplies,affecting both local and downstream communities.Changes in the precipitation patterns have been suggested to cause droughts,impact restricted agriculture,and limit the availability of water for domestic use.Additionally,the high mountain areas contain distinct flora and fauna,and climate change is not just altering them,but also has resulted in biodiversity loss as species are unable to adapt to the changing climate.Because of its higher altitudes and semi-arid to arid climate,the consequences of climate change are more evident in the higher Himalayas.Climate change is affecting the availability of key resources,such as freshwater and agriculture and pasture lands,resulting in food and water insecurity and their reliance on imports from other regions.As a result,high mountain communities in the Himalayas are progressively shifting to higher glacier valleys in search of suitable cultivable land with adequate irrigation.People are engaging in agro-pastoral activities around thermokarst lakes(Oasis)atop rock glaciers as part of this endeavour.Such actions underscore the crucial role of rock glaciers in dealing with and adjusting to the consequences of climate change.Despite its relevance,rock glacier research in the Himalayan region is still in its infancy.The purpose of this work is to emphasise the significance of these major climate-resilient water resources,as well as the methodology that must be adopted for their systematic and compressive investigations.
