This paper firstly analyses the due evaluation indexes of curriculum civics and politics in physical education of higher vocational colleges and,based on the indexes,puts forward suggestions to improve the quality of teaching curriculum civics and politics in physical education of higher vocational colleges and universities in Chongqing.It involves maintaining steadfast adherence to professional attributes,unwavering commitment to Sanquan education,and thorough exploration of professional civics and political elements.This approach also entails supplementing extracurricular civics and political resources and utilizing a variety of methods such as contextual teaching and role-modeling to the fullest extent.At the same time,we increase the opportunities for civics and political practice inside and outside the classroom and develop teaching evaluation and assessment in civics and politics.

Challenges and Teaching Reform Strategies in Vocational College Engineering Training Courses

An Exploration of Higher Vocational English Teachers’Professional Development on Students’Learning Ability in the Context of New Liberal Arts

The concept of New Liberal Arts,a multidisciplinary combined integrator with Chinese values at its core,has brought new challenges to the teaching methods and professional development of higher-level English teachers.Based on the evolving professional development process of higher vocational English teachers in the context of the New Liberal Arts,this article analyzes how English teachers can integrate multidisciplinary knowledge and adopt advanced educational technology in the teaching process.On this basis,it discusses the role of teachers’professional development in enhancing students’learning ability,such as through deepening disciplinary understanding,adopting innovative teaching strategies,and implementing personalized teaching.At the end of the article,based on a variety of pedagogical theories,we put forward suggestions,including continuous professional training,interdisciplinary cooperation,and the application of innovative teaching techniques,which are mainly aimed at helping higher vocational English teachers get rid of the dilemma of the new situation,adapt to the needs of the new liberal arts education as soon as possible,and then effectively improve students’abilities.

Research on the Reform and Practice of Ideological and Political Courses in Higher Vocational Colleges Based on Teaching Competition

Firstly, the paper analyzes the value of teaching competition in the process of teaching reform and practice of ideological and political courses in higher vocational colleges, which mainly includes sharing the teaching experience of ideological and political teachers, facilitating the ideological and political teachers to learn from the professional education elements appearing in the follow-up teaching, and contributing to the creation of an active and active teaching atmosphere. Secondly, it analyzes the educational principles that ideological and political teachers should adhere to in the teaching competition, including focusing on the principle of the unity of education leading and subjectivity, strengthening the principle of unity of content and form, and effectively implementing the principle of combining document spirit with subject characteristics. Under the background of globalization,there are severe challenges in the cultivation of the professional skills of nursing staff,especially the English skills of foreign-related nursing,which has become an important part of the training of nursing talents.At present,most English teaching of foreign-related nursing in higher vocational colleges follows the traditional grammar teaching model.However,as most of the teaching staff for medical English are English teachers who have limited nursing professional knowledge,the industry characteristics of medical English are not fully demonstrated in the teaching process,and the lack of practicality inevitably reduces the quality of medical English teaching.Therefore,the traditional nursing English teaching model in higher vocational colleges can no longer meet the actual teaching needs.There is an urgent need to implement an interdisciplinary team teaching model that completely fits the industry environment of foreign-related nursing English and apply it flexibly to improve the quality of foreign-related nursing English teaching in higher vocational colleges,and lay a solid foundation for professional practice of nursing staff.Based on the perspective of ecolinguistics,this article explores the application strategies of the interdisciplinary team teaching model for foreign-related nursing English in higher vocational colleges,with the view to provide guidelines for the actual teaching of foreign-related nursing English.

Empirical Research on the Status Quo of Teachers of Common Required Courses in Vocational Higher Education Institutions

In order to build a high-quality team of teachers in vocational higher education institutions, and investigate the current situation of teachers of common required courses in vocational higher education institutions of Hainan Province, an empirical research is conducted. A questionnaire survey was carried out in aspects of satisfaction of teaching and scientific research, professional quality, work saturation and teacher’s job satisfaction. The research results shows that the professional quality of teachers of common required courses cannot significantly influence the satisfaction of teaching and scientific research;Job saturation can positively influence teaching and research satisfaction;teaching and research satisfaction can positively influence teachers’ job satisfaction.

Evaluation of Technical Education by Using a Modern Structured MOODLE Laboratory Course, in Relation to Recent Data

E-learning platforms support education systems worldwide, transferring theoretical knowledge as well as soft skills. In the present study high-school pupils’, and adult students’ opinions were evaluated through a modern structured MOODLE interactive course, designed for the needs of the laboratory course “Automotive Systems”. The study concerns Greek secondary vocational education pupils aged 18 and vocational training adult students aged 20 to 50 years. The multistage, equal size simple random cluster sample was used as a sampling method. Pupils and adult students of each cluster completed structured 10-question questionnaires both before and after attending the course. A total of 120 questionnaires were collected. In general, our findings disclosed that the majority of pupils and adult students had significantly improved their knowledge and skills from using MOODLE. They reported strengthening conventional teaching, using the new MOODLE technology. The satisfaction indices improved quite, with the differences in their mean values being statistically significant.

Diversified teaching plays an important role in the sustainable development of China’s basic piano course instruction for higher education teachers.A diversified curriculum system should be designed to promote the development of each student,and efforts should be made to cultivate high-quality talents who can adapt to the various needs of the society as well as to promote the reform and development of basic piano course instruction for higher education teachers.The aim of this study was to explore the teaching of basic piano course for higher education teachers based on the diversified teaching method.The teaching methods use for basic piano course were analyzed in this study,and two research methods were used to carry out the present study so as to effectively improve the operation of the diversified teaching method.Through a survey of the current situation of piano instruction in two higher education faculties,we can see that the teaching of basic piano course in higher education is still dominated by the traditional teaching method although the majority of students preferred the diversified teaching method.
