Multi-Blockchain Based Data Trading Markets With Novel Pricing Mechanisms

In the era of big data,there is an urgent need to establish data trading markets for effectively releasing the tremendous value of the drastically explosive data.Data security and data pricing,however,are still widely regarded as major challenges in this respect,which motivate this research on the novel multi-blockchain based framework for data trading markets and their associated pricing mechanisms.In this context,data recording and trading are conducted separately within two separate blockchains:the data blockchain(DChain) and the value blockchain(VChain).This enables the establishment of two-layer data trading markets to manage initial data trading in the primary market and subsequent data resales in the secondary market.Moreover,pricing mechanisms are then proposed to protect these markets against strategic trading behaviors and balance the payoffs of both suppliers and users.Specifically,in regular data trading on VChain-S2D,two auction models are employed according to the demand scale,for dealing with users’ strategic bidding.The incentive-compatible Vickrey-Clarke-Groves(VCG)model is deployed to the low-demand trading scenario,while the nearly incentive-compatible monopolistic price(MP) model is utilized for the high-demand trading scenario.With temporary data trading on VChain-D2S,a reverse auction mechanism namely two-stage obscure selection(TSOS) is designed to regulate both suppliers’ quoting and users’ valuation strategies.Furthermore,experiments are carried out to demonstrate the strength of this research in enhancing data security and trading efficiency.

A Study on Renewable Power Pricing Mechanism and Price Incentive Policies in China

The basic framework of price policies for promoting renewable power de- velopment in China is introduced. The background, concept and implementation of price policies, focused on wind power, biomass power and solar power, are summarized in the article. The experiences and lessons of implementation of these price policies are analyzed. It is concluded that reasonable price policy is quite effective for promoting re- newable power development. According to the requirement of China's renewable power development, the suggestions for improving renewable power pricing mechanism and price incentive policies are proposed.

Comparison of Group-Buying Online Auction and Posted Pricing Mechanism in an Uncertain Market

Demand uncertainty is a key factor for the seller's decision making, especially in the e-business environment, for the website to sell products through the online auction. In this paper, two kinds of demand uncertainties are considered: the consumer regime uncertainty and the inherent randomness of the market environment. Then, how to use a novel business model and group-buying auction (GBA) is analyzed in such a market environment. Based on the comparison of the GBA and the posted price mechanism, some conditions that favor the GBA are provided.

Pricing Mechanism for Community Prosumers in Decentralized Electricity Market

A novel pricing mechanism for peer-to-peer(P2P)energy trading among the community prosumers is proposed.The prosumers are composed of the sellers with surplus energy and the buyers with insufficient energy.The buyers can adjust the energy consumption behavior based on the price and quantity of the energy supplied by the sellers.Two separate competitions exist in the trading process:1)the competition of price among the sellers;and 2)the competition of seller selection among the buyers.The price competition among sellers is modeled on the basis of optimal supply response.Based on the optimal demand response,the modeling for buyers’dynamic behaviors is used to select sellers and decide the trading quantity.Furthermore,the Stackelberg game is used to analyze the interaction between the buyers act as followers and sellers act as leaders.P2P optimal pricing is achieved by maximizing social welfare.The proposed method is applied to small community prosumers with distributed energy resources(DERs).Simulation results show that the proposed P2P energy pricing mechanism can provide significant financial benefits for the community.First,with the increase of demand,the created welfare flows to the seller as the supply is lower than the demand.Second,as the supply is exceeding the demand,the created welfare with the increase of DERs supply flows to the buyer as the DERs supply is lower,and flows to the buyer and seller as the DERs supply is higher.The results also demonstrate that:the higher the adoption of DERs,the higher the social welfare.

Research on Operation Optimization of Energy Storage Power Station and Integrated Energy Microgrid Alliance Based on Stackelberg Game

With the development of renewable energy technologies such as photovoltaics and wind power,it has become a research hotspot to improve the consumption rate of new energy and reduce energy costs through the deployment of energy storage.To solve the problem of the interests of different subjects in the operation of the energy storage power stations(ESS)and the integrated energy multi-microgrid alliance(IEMA),this paper proposes the optimization operation method of the energy storage power station and the IEMA based on the Stackelberg game.In the upper layer,ESS optimizes charging and discharging decisions through a dynamic pricing mechanism.In the lower layer,IEMA optimizes the output of various energy conversion coupled devices within the IEMA,as well as energy interaction and demand response(DR),based on the energy interaction prices provided by ESS.The results demonstrate that the optimization strategy proposed in this paper not only effectively balances the benefits of the IEMA and ESS but also enhances energy consumption rates and reduces IEMA energy costs.

Flexible Load Participation in Peaking Shaving and Valley Filling Based on Dynamic Price Incentives

Considering the widening of the peak-valley difference in the power grid and the difficulty of the existing fixed time-of-use electricity price mechanism in meeting the energy demand of heterogeneous users at various moments or motivating users,the design of a reasonable dynamic pricing mechanism to actively engage users in demand response becomes imperative for power grid companies.For this purpose,a power grid-flexible load bilevel model is constructed based on dynamic pricing,where the leader is the dispatching center and the lower-level flexible load acts as the follower.Initially,an upper-level day-ahead dispatching model for the power grid is established,considering the lowest power grid dispatching cost as the objective function and incorporating the power grid-side constraints.Then,the lower level comprehensively considers the load characteristics of industrial load,energy storage,and data centers,and then establishes a lower-level flexible load operation model with the lowest user power-consuming cost as the objective function.Finally,the proposed method is validated using the IEEE-118 system,and the findings indicate that the dynamic pricing mechanism for peaking shaving and valley filling can effectively guide users to respond actively,thereby reducing the peak-valley difference and decreasing users’purchasing costs.

Airlines Cost Control in China:An Overlooked Perspective

With the deepening of economic globalization,the business environment has seen profound changes.The cost of aviation fuel has grown to represent a significant portion of air transportation costs for“energy-dependent”airlines.The cost of aviation fuel makes up a sizeable amount of Chinese airlines’cost structure and is increasingly limiting their profitability.The question of how to control the cost of aviation fuel from various perspectives has garnered widespread attention.This paper puts forward an overlooked perspective-the procurement strategy.Firstly,it describes the necessity of aviation fuel cost control,and then analyzes specific cases of aviation fuel procurement cost control.Finally,it proposes several effective suggestions from the perspective of aviation fuel procurement,aiming to improve the refined management of Chinese airlines’aviation fuel procurement.

Game Analysis and Countermeasures on Increasing Prices of Agricultural Products under Triple Supply Chain

From the perspective of supply chain of agricultural products,by establishing Stackelberg game model based on triple supply chain,this paper researches the price formation and profit distribution mechanism of agricultural products under circumstance of non-cooperation and cooperation.The results show the main factors responsible for the hiking of prices of agricultural products as follows:the cost of agricultural products climbs incessantly;the circulation cost hovers at high level;the factor inputs of agricultural products are short;inflation pressure is incessantly mounting;the profit distribution of supply chain is irrational.Finally,corresponding countermeasures are put forward.

Study on the Reform of Agricultural Supply Side Based on Food Security

In December 2015,the Central Rural Work Conference put forward the structural reform of agricultural supply side,to ensure the national food security. At present,China's grain production is increasing,the supply and demand structure of grain market is not balanced,and the ineffective supply due to the lack of market supply and demand has caused the problem of structural surplus and structural shortage.And price and quality difference of domestic and international grain is obvious,and the agricultural products in China are overstock,so the reform of agricultural supply side based on food security must be implemented. To adjust structure,reduce stock,reduce cost,increase quality,promote the primary,secondary and tertiary industries convergence will become the focus of China's agricultural supply side structural reform,and we can develop the ecological agriculture,improve the competitiveness of the grain market in price and quality,to ensure food security for the nation.

An Empirical Study of Asian Crude Oil Premiums

The price of Middle East crude oil exported to Asian countries has been higher than that to Europe and America for a long period, and this price differential made Asian countries pay more than European and American countries. Prior investigations found that ＂Asian Crude Oil Premium＂ did exist at a relatively low oil price level. However, world oil price soared after 2003, making the price of Middle East crude oil exported to European countries or America rise quickly, sometimes even higher than that to Asia. Under this situation, this paper uses the price of Middle East crude oil sold to Europe or America or Asia to test if the premium exists at a high oil price level and concludes that the crude oil price premium of Asia against America does not exist, but the premium of Asia against Europe still exists.

Day-ahead optimal scheduling method for grid-connected microgrid based on energy storage control strategy

A day-ahead optimal scheduling method for a grid-connected microgrid based on energy storage(ES)control strategy is proposed in this paper.The proposed method optimally schedules ES devices to minimize the total operating costs while satisfying the load requirements of cold,heat,and electricity in microgrids.By modeling the operating cost function of each stage,the proposed method is able to adapt to different types of electricity markets and pricing mechanisms.The technical characteristics of ES,such as self-discharge and round-trip efficiency,are considered in the control strategy with a multistage process model.An improved dynamic programing method is used to solve the optimization model.Finally,case studies are provided to illustrate the application process and verify the proposed method.
