On Adaptation Measures to Solve Tel-Aviv’s Environmental Problems with “Sunny Rain”

Adaptation measures were proposed using“Sunny Rain”to solve Tel Aviv’s environmental problems to cool the air in the city and save humanity from climate catastrophe and fight air pollution;the Yarkon,“Tel Aviv’s main river”will no longer be a dirty ditch;the fog from Ben-Gurion Airport was cleaned;neighborhoods,parks,around Tel Aviv were greened and all green spaces were irrigated with“Sunny Rain”.

Radon Measure Solutions to Riemann Problems for Isentropic Compressible Euler Equations of Polytropic Gases

We solve the Riemann problems for isentropic compressible Euler equations of polytropic gases in the class of Radon measures,and the solutions admit the concentration of mass.It is found that under the requirement of satisfying the over-compressing entropy condition:(i)there is a unique delta shock solution,corresponding to the case that has two strong classical Lax shocks;(ii)for the initial data that the classical Riemann solution contains a shock wave and a rarefaction wave,or two shocks with one being weak,there are infinitely many solutions,each consists of a delta shock and a rarefaction wave;(iii)there are no delta shocks for the case that the classical entropy weak solutions consist only of rarefaction waves.These solutions are self-similar.Furthermore,for the generalized Riemann problem with mass concentrated initially at the discontinuous point of initial data,there always exists a unique delta shock for at least a short time.It could be prolonged to a global solution.Not all the solutions are self-similar due to the initial velocity of the concentrated point-mass(particle).Whether the delta shock solutions constructed satisfy the over-compressing entropy condition is clarified.This is the first result on the construction of singular measure solutions to the compressible Euler system of polytropic gases,that is strictly hyperbolic,and whose characteristics are both genuinely nonlinear.We also discuss possible physical interpretations and applications of these new solutions.

An Investigation Into the Needs and Challenges of County-Level Family Education Guidance Services and Corresponding Improvement Measures

The delivery of targeted family education guidance services is essential for establishing a three-in-one education model that encompasses families,schools,and communities.It is also the key to creating a favorable educational environment that promotes the comprehensive and healthy development of individual students.To gain a comprehensive understanding of family education characteristics and trends in Chinese counties,accurately tap into the educational needs of parents,and effectively identify strengths and weaknesses in family education guidance services,this paper employed a quantitative research method based on a questionnaire survey and interview data from J district of C city after years of continuous monitoring of the quality of family education in the area,aiming to explore these issues and put forward several suggestions for improvement.The results indicate that the family learning environment and atmosphere in the district are generally favorable,while parental educational competence requires further improvement.Parents express a strong desire for interactive,systematic,and fragmented family education guidance from schools.Most parents acknowledge the significance of receiving guidance on family education,yet they are disinclined to actively engage in learning-related activities.While the operational mechanisms of county-level family education guidance services have been continuously improved,there is a need for greater overall coordination.Furthermore,the potential of school-led family education guidance services has yet to be fully tapped,and the scientific and professional standards of such guidance need to be further enhanced.Based on the aforementioned findings,we propose recommendations for improvement.Using J district’s effective improvement practices in management,curriculum,and teams as an example,we intend to explore practical ways to promote county-level family education guidance services and provide a valuable reference for the establishment of a comprehensive and effective system to improve such services.

THE RIEMANN PROBLEM FOR ISENTROPIC COMPRESSIBLE EULER EQUATIONS WITH DISCONTINUOUS FLUX

We consider the singular Riemann problem for the rectilinear isentropic compressible Euler equations with discontinuous flux,more specifically,for pressureless flow on the left and polytropic flow on the right separated by a discontinuity x=x(t).We prove that this problem admits global Radon measure solutions for all kinds of initial data.The over-compressing condition on the discontinuity x=x(t)is not enough to ensure the uniqueness of the solution.However,there is a unique piecewise smooth solution if one proposes a slip condition on the right-side of the curve x=x(t)+0,in addition to the full adhesion condition on its left-side.As an application,we study a free piston problem with the piston in a tube surrounded initially by uniform pressureless flow and a polytropic gas.In particular,we obtain the existence of a piecewise smooth solution for the motion of the piston between a vacuum and a polytropic gas.This indicates that the singular Riemann problem looks like a control problem in the sense that one could adjust the condition on the discontinuity of the flux to obtain the desired flow field.

INITIAL-OBLIQUE DERIVATIVE PROBLEMS FOR NONLINEAR PARABOLIC SYSTEMS WITH MEASURABLE COEFFICIENTS

This paper deals with some initial-oblique derivative boundary value problems for nonlinear nondivergent parabolic systems of several second order equations with measurable coefficients in multiply connected domains. Firstly, a priori estimates of solutions for the initial-boundary value problems are given, and then by using the above estimates of solutions and the Leray-Schauder theorem, the existence and uniqueness of solutions for the problems are proved.

Analysis on the Problems in Start-up and Debugging of Two 600 MW Generating Units in Yangzhou No.2 Thermal Power Plant

The problems including excessive flow of attemperating water for boiler, failure of butterfly valve at the outlet of circulating water pump, burnt-out of thyristor for excitation regulator, load variation rate of CCS not complying with the contract target, etc. occurred during start-up and debugging of two 600 MW generating units in Yangzhou No.2 Thermal Power Plant. Through analysis on these problems. the remedial measures were put forward, to which can be referred for similar units.

Protection Countermeasures for Guxin Famous Historical and Cultural Town

After the analysis of characteristics and value of Guxin Ancient Town, the paper had introduced residential architectures with distinctive features, ancient architectural groups of northern castle style, historical streets full of characteristics, long old locust culture, temple culture of South Hebei and colorful folk culture. There existed many problems in cultural protection of Guxin, for example, new and old residential architectures had mingled together, historical environment had suffered damage, public service facilities and infrastructures had lagged behind, and folk culture had been damaged. Based on this, it had proposed that protection of the ancient town should comply with principles of authenticity, integrity, readability and sustainability; discussed countermeasures for the protection of Guxin Ancient Town; and emphasized protection and treatment of architectures. It should conduct filing and listing protection on historical architectures, protect old streets and reconstruct infrastructure, protect non-material heritages, positively advocate public participation and improve protection consciousness, so as to protect and extend historical cultural context, and inherit abundant historical and cultural resources.

Assess Medical Screening and Isolation Measures Based on Numerical Method for COVID-19 Epidemic Model in Japan

This study aims to improve control schemes for COVID-19 by a numerical model with estimation of parameters.We established a multi-level and multi-objective nonlinear SEIDR model to simulate the virus transmission.The early spread in Japan was adopted as a case study.The first 96 days since the infection were divided into five stages with parameters estimated.Then,we analyzed the trend of the parameter value,age structure ratio,and the defined PCR test index(standardization of the scale of PCR tests).It was discovered that the self-healing rate and confirmed rate were linear with the age structure ratio and the PCR test index using the stepwise regression method.The transmission rates were related to the age structure ratio,PCR test index,and isolation efficiency.Both isolation measures and PCR test medical screening can effectively reduce the number of infected cases based on the simulation results.However,the strategy of increasing PCR test medical screening would encountered a bottleneck effect on the virus control when the index reached 0.3.The effectiveness of the policy would decrease and the basic reproduction number reached the extreme value at 0.6.This study gave a feasible combination for isolation and PCR test by simulation.The isolation intensity could be adjusted to compensate the insufficiency of PCR test to control the pandemic.

Minimum Cross Fuzzy Entropy Problem, The Existence of Its Solution and Generalized Minimum Cross Fuzzy Entropy Problems

In the present study we have formulated a Minimum Cross Fuzzy Entropy Problem （Minx（F）EntP） and proposed sufficient conditions for existence of its solution. Mentioned problem can be formulated as follows. In the set of membership functions satisfying the given moment constraints generated by given moment functions it is required to choose the membership function that is closest to a priori membership function in the sense of cross fuzzy entropy measure. The existence of solution of formulated problem is proved by virtue of concavity property of cross fuzzy entropy measure, the implicit function theorem and Lagrange multipliers method. Moreover, Generalized Cross Fuzzy Entropy Optimization Methods in the form of MinMinx（F）EntM and MaxMinx（F）EntM are suggested on the basis of primary phase of minimizing cross fuzzy entropy measure for fixed moment vector function and on the definition of the special functional with Minx（F）Ent values of cross fuzzy entropy measure. Next phase for obtaining mentioned distributions consists of optimization of defined functional with respect to moment vector functions. Distributions obtained by mentioned methods are defined as （MinMinx（F）Ent）m and （MaxMinx（F）Ent）m distributions.

Preliminary Study of the Feasibility of Inverse Problem Algorithms Used for Arc Magnetic Measurement Method

Non-contact magnetic measurement method is an effective way to study the air arc behavior experimentally. One of the crucial techniques is to solve an inverse problem for the electromagnetic field. This study is devoted to investigating different algorithms for this kind of inverse problem preliminarily, including the preconditioned conjugate gradient method, penalty function method and genetic algorithm. The feasibility of each algorithm is analyzed. It is shown that the preconditioned conjugate gradient method is valid only for few arc segments, the estimation accuracy of the penalty function method is dependent on the initial conditions, and the convergence of genetic algorithm should be studied further for more segments in an arc current.

A Class of a Second-Order Two-Point Boundary Value Problem on a Measure Chain

A class of second-order two-point boundary value problem on a measure chain was considered. Under some suitable conditions, by using the Leggett-Williams fixed point theorem in an appropriate cone, the existence of at least three positive solutions to this nonlinear problem was obtained.

General Markowitz Optimization Problems

We solve two Markowitz optimization problems for the one-step financial model with a finite number of assets. In our results, the classical (inefficient) constraints are replaced by coherent measures of risk that are continuous from below. The methodology of proof requires optimization techniques based on functional analysis methods. We solve explicitly both problems in the important case of Tail Value at Risk.

Boundary Value Problems for Nonlinear Differential Equations of Second Order inBanach Spaces

Boundary value problems for differential equations in Banach spaces have a wideranging actul background (see [2]), S. Szufla ([5]) had proved an existence theorem for such problem. In this paper, we will improve his result and get a new existence theorem using Daber's fixed point theorem.
