This paper aims to explore a simpler and more user-friendly way of generating software based on model-driven development.Previous studies have attempted to generate code from domain models, hoping to reduce coding time by increasing modeling time. However,as code tools become more advanced,it is challenging to improve efficiency because models are abstract while implementations are concrete. This paper proposes a novel approach that integrates ChatGPT as a plug-in into the whole R&D process and combines it with our code generation tool to enhance R&D efficiency. We have developed some demos to demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach.According to our evaluation, our approach can save more than 90%of the work in implementing the code generation tool, leaving only about 10%of the work for code review, code improvement, and unit testing. 展开更多

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to clarify the relationship and experiences of occupational health nurses (OHNs) and related departments in project development of mental health care for primary treatment in the Japanese occupational health setting. Method: A total of 235 OHNs who are members of the Japan Academy of Occupational Health Nursing were sent an anonymous self-administered questionnaire survey. The questionnaire included items on the following: the OHN’s background, whether the OHN had experience in project development, the communication between the associated departments, the Japanese version of the Work Engagement Scale (UWES-J), occupational assessments, workplace assessments, and the Transtheoretical Model (TTM) for health promotion in companies and the OHN’s working environment. We performed logistic regression analysis to examine the relationship between experience and these harmonious relationships with other associated departments. Result: Responses from 61 OHNs (valid response rate: 25.9%) were analyzed. The mean number of years of service as an OHN was 18.9, and 82% of respondents had experience in project development. The logistic analysis further revealed that OHNs who had experience in project development of mental health care usually had a harmonious relationship with other associated departments. Conclusion: To promote mental health care for workers, OHNs have the capability to create individual and workplace assessments, enhance their work engagement, and make further improvements to their working environment. . 展开更多

This paper presents results of the assessment on benefit sharing and payment mechanisms tested by six non-governmental organizations(NGOs)-piloted Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation(REDD+) initiatives in Tanzania. Results from the assessment indicate that models applied by most of the REDD+ pilot projects have provided most of decisions for the distribution of benefits to the communities through village general assemblies.Based on requirements of the tested models, national benefit-sharing mechanism models are proposed.Major attributes to be considered in the development of national benefit-sharing models should include:(i) ensuring that the existing government structure is not excluded to ensure sustainability;(ii) village general assembly is involved in determining the distribution of the benefits accrued;and(iii) transparency in handling the carbon finance is ensured.Models that are proposed for the national REDD+ benefit sharing apply to two forest management systems, namely Joint Forest Management(JFM) and Community Based Forest Management(CBFM).The paper recommends testing of the two proposed models to determine whether they could be useful in sharing benefits resulting from REDD+ in Tanzania. 展开更多

Firstly, the related theories about agricultural science and technology innovation and project approval evaluation are combed and summarized. By combining application and finish books of science and technology support plan project in agricultural field of Ministry of Science and Technology with stronger innovation, case analysis and expert interview are conducted. Evaluation indexes of agricultural science and technology project based on innovation value are proposed initially, and there are 50 initial indexes. After that, via focus group talk, qualitative research is conducted to further adjust innovative evaluation indexes, and 50 initial indexes are deleted to 41. The importance of the 41 indexes is scored by the experts, and index screening and classification are conducted by verification factor analysis in structural equation model. It not only obtains index classification but also finds action mechanism among innovation demand, innovation mode, research thinking, treatment method of difficulty, and predicted risk. The research could straighten up ideas of project review experts in agricultural field and provide reference for applicant designing project. 展开更多

Software testing is a very important phase of the software development process. It is a very difficult job for a software manager to allocate optimally the financial budget to a software project during testing. In this paper the problem of optimal allocation of the software testing cost is studied. There exist several models focused on the development of software costs measuring the number of software errors remaining in the software during testing. The purpose of this paper is to use these models to formulate the optimization problems of resource allocation: Minimization of the total number of software errors remaining in the system. On the assumption that a software project consists of some independent modules, the presented approach extends previous work by defining new goal functions and extending the primary assumption and precondition. 展开更多

Industrial projects can be viewed as complex sociotechnical systems(e.g.,human agents interacting with technology)where cause-and-effect relationships do not necessarily occur in time-and-space proximity. For this work,metanetwork(e.g.,a network of networks)analysis was applied to emergent behavior-centric intangible risks(BCIRs)in a portfolio of projects in the energy sector.A user-friendly framework is proposed to identify and quantitatively assess BCIRs,along with the conditions that initiate them throughout the project development cycle. The underlying hypothesis is a structured approach to identifying, assessing, and proactively addressing BCIRs that have the potential to improve a project team’s ability to meet its objectives. While we build upon Rasmussen’s dynamic safety model and address the need for a framework to assess causal factors that influence behaviors in the context of an energy-sector project,we do this with a view to a future where technology(e.g.,artificial intelligence(AI),automation, robotics, etc.)will play an ever-increasing role. The proposed framework is presented as tested in a live project portfolio setting where organizational modifications were identified, simulated, and implemented. One particular dimension of the analysis, the issue of authority without responsibility,is also discussed. The results of this empirical assessment were further validated by an industry panel of subject-matter experts(SMEs). 展开更多

A safety design applies to every stage in a satellite system development life cycle to identify and analyze hazards in the satellite at a system level, eliminating or controlling various safety risks, while verifying the functions of the satellite system have safety characteristics, so as to optimize the satellite system for the best performance in terms of time and cost. This article comprehensively leverages such factors as satellite reliability, complexity and life cycle by considering the overall satellite safety work plan, hazard analysis, hazard sources, pyrotechnic devices and other module safety critical designs. Safety design measures were formulated to review and verify the effectiveness of system functions including a safe power supply to a satellite and pyrotechnic explosives to achieve the safety requirements of the satellite from a development stage. Safety design activities for each subsystem will ensure meeting the development requirements of the satellite system as a whole, and ensure the satellite system cannot be the cause of casualties, equipment damage, property loss, or have a health-threatening impact or detrimental impact on the environment. 展开更多

Mobility, pollution, and other barriers against sustainable goods movement are pushing local administrators to seek innovations in urban transportation infrastructure. The urban underground logistics system(ULS)has been recognized as a prospective alternative to realize large-scale automated freight distribution within and around megacities. This paper proposes an integrated approach combing system dynamics and agent-based modeling to evaluate the long-term development and operating status of a city-wide ULS project. The project boundaries regarding underground network expansion, stakeholders’attributes, and social-environmental benefit metrics were structured as eight highly-interacted agent modules.Critical decision variables of agents in terms of supply-demand equilibrium, investment plan,pricing-to-market and willingness-to-pay were incorporated into three formulized subsystem models. From empirical perspective, the urban territory of Beijing,China, was taken as a case to simulate the development footprints of ULS project under different funding options and market acceptance degrees. Results show that ULS has significant competence with respect to service capacity and profitability, while enabling billions of dollars of external cost-saving annually. Moreover, the comprehensive performance of ULS project regarding economic incomes, benefits, market demand, and construction schedule can reach satisfactory trade-offs through adaptively adjusting the funding policies, incentives and pricing portfolios during project development. 展开更多
