A Study on the Impact of Psychological Counseling for Minor Medical Students in Clinical Teaching and Learning

Objective:To explore the impact of psychological counseling for underage medical students in clinical teaching.Methods:24 of the 48 underage medical students who were interned in our hospital from March 2023 to February 2024 were randomly selected to adopt the teaching management method of one-on-one psychological guidance as the observation group;the remaining 24 adopted the traditional teaching management method as the control group.The observation of the effects of psychological detachment on various aspects of underage medical students allows the determination of whether psychological detachment impacts clinical teaching.Results:The observation group’s theoretical examination scores,skill assessment scores,and departmental performance evaluation scale score excellence rate were higher than the control group’s,with P<0.05 being statistically significant.At the same time,the clinical teaching and teaching management ability of the hospital was also improved.Conclusion:Psychological guidance for underage medical students can not only improve the comprehensive quality of medical students but also improve the teaching level,which is conducive to improving the teaching effect,and it is a clinical teaching mode worth promoting.

The Association of Psychological Stress Related Cytokines (TNF Alpha, IFN-Gamma) with Essential Hypertension in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region

The study aimed to explore the association between psychological stress-related cytokines and essential hypertension to provide the theoretical basis for the prevention and control of the essential hypertension. We screened hypertension patients in six communities in Wuzhong City of Ningxia, and chose the healthy people who had lived in the same community for full 5 years as a control group. Finally, we selected 210 pairs of cases and controls randomly, including 108 pairs of Hui and 102 pairs of Han (50% male;age 35 -74). The results showed that the serum TNF alpha levels of hypertension group were higher than the control group (ρ 0.01), and the serum IFN-gamma levels were lower than the control group both in Hui and Han (ρ 0.01). Further analysis showed that the serum TNF alpha level of the Hui hypertension group was higher than the Han hypertension group (ρ 0.01), while the serum IFN-gamma level was lower than Han hypertension group (ρ 0.01). In conclusion, TNF alpha and IFN-gamma were the important related cytokines between psychological stress and hypertension, and taking effective measures to control the level of serum TNF alpha. IFN-gamma may have the vital significance in alleviating or preventing the genesis and development of essential hypertension.

Research on Ideological and Political Education Psychological Counseling and Its Efficiency Improvement under the Network Background

Ideological and political education psychological counseling is facing problems.Therefore,it is necessary to help the party workers to learn and master the knowledge a—bout psychological service,improve the ability of party workers to participate in psychological counseling,strengthen the cultivation of the good political attitude of netizens and enhance the psychological service mechanism for the ideological and political works in order to further improve the efficiency of the psychological counseling of China's current ideological and political education.

Rescue of Heretics by Psychological Counseling and Therapy

Heretic rescue is a major part of anti-heresy activities, in which psychological counseling and therapy play a unique and irreplaceable role. This paper illustrates the role of psychological counseling and therapy from perspective of domestic reality of heretic rescue, describes difficulties and challenges faced in carrying out psychological counseling and therapy among heretics as well as available theories and methods in psychological counseling and therapy for heretic rescue.

Method Using Nvivo7.0 qualitative analysis software to do the transcripts c-oding analysis of interpersonal pattern group psychological counseling pro-cess. Result Through the qualitative analysis,we find that members＇ sub-jective apiration have two trends： One trend is with the group psycholo-gical counseling process for increasing;another kind is： increase--decrease--increase, specificly showing that：：existing subjective apiration-- The subjective will weaken （because of denial and skepticism this group ）or strengthen （accepting this group）-- the subjective apiration increases, applying new pattern in groups--the subjective apiration become specification, the new pattern to repl-ace the old pattern in life. Conclusion 1. In interpersonal group counseling process, members＇ subjective apiration exists two kinds of trend that to weakened after reinforcement and enhancement gradually strengthen; 2. Members＇ subjective apiration of group psychological counseling can influence the effect of group psychological counseling.

Association of psychological stress with wives’hypertension across over 10 million Chinese married female population aged 20-49 years

Background:Psychological stress has been reported to be a potential risk factor for hypertension among females,but it remains unclear whether spousal chronic stress levels alter the risk of hypertension among women.We examined the associations between stress within the family and hypertension among married women.Methods:Reproductive-aged women who were planning for pregnancy and their husbands were recruited from the National Free Pre-pregnancy Checkup Projects(NFPCP)across 31 provinces in China in 2016 and 2017.Perceived stress of wives or husbands was measured with a 5-point Likert-type scale,and assessed from three domains:work/life-related stress,economic stress,and overall stress.Multivariable-adjusted logistic regression models were used to assess the associations between stress status and the prevalence of hypertension.Results:Of 10,027,644 couples,261,098(2.60%)women had hypertension.The results showed that higher stress levels among themselves or their husbands were associated with a higher prevalence of hypertension in women(P_(for trend)<0.001).Compared with non-stressed participants,female participants with the highest stress themselves were at a greater risk of hypertension,with adjusted odds ratio(OR)of 1.31(95%confidence interval[CI]:1.25-1.37);and compared with participants whose husbands had no stress,those whose husbands had the highest stress level were at a higher risk of hypertension with adjusted OR of 1.24(95%CI:1.20-1.29).Moreover,compared with non-stressed status for both couples,only-wife-stressed,only-husband-stressed,and both-stressed couples were found to be significantly associated with increased risks of wives’hypertension,with adjusted ORs of 1.28(95%CI:1.25-1.31),1.19(95%CI:1.17-1.21),and 1.28(95%CI:1.26-1.31),respectively.Conclusion:Moderate to severe stress in both spouses might be associated with female hypertension prevalence,which highlights the importance of paying attention to the psychological stresses of couples within the family.

Comparative study on ghrelin level change and its related factors in hypertensive elders with psychological distress

Objective To investigate the change of plasma ghrelin level and explore the related factors of ghrelin alteration in elderly hypertensive patients with psychological distress.Methods A total of 300 elders,who were screened with Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA),Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression(HAMD),and the Symptom Checklist-90(SCL-90)for psychological stress and somato-psychological manifestations respectively,were divided into hypertension group(n=148)and non-hypertension group(n=152).Their blood samples were collected to measure the plasma level of ghrelin and total cortisol on the same day.Results The incidences of anxiety and depression were 27.7% and 11.7%,respectively,in all the enrolled elders.However,the rates of psychological distress,particularly anxiety,were significantly higher in the hypertensive elders than in the non-hypertensive ones(43.2% vs.12.5%).Anxiety was positively related to the cortisol level but negatively related to the plasma ghrelin level,and the latter two were negatively correlated with each other.Conclusion Chronic increase of plasma cortisol induced by long-term anxiety can lead to the reduction of ghrelin level,which then adversely affects blood pressure in elders with psychological distress.Therefore,ghrelin might be a selective antihypertensive medicine for hypertensive elders with anxiety.

Role of Rehabilitation Counseling and Psychology in Working with Individuals with Work-related Chronic Pain Injuries: An Interdisciplinary Approach-Chronic Pain and Work Injuries in the United States

This paper addresses the topic of an interdisciplinary approach of chronic pain management from a biopsychosocial perspective. The first section provides an introduction to the definitions and theories of chronic pain and the various contributing factors (psychological, interpersonal/environmental and social support, and vocational). The second section presents the role of various health care professions (medical doctors, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists and rehabilitation counselors) and the evidence of their treatment effectiveness. The third section discusses the concept of an interdisciplinary pain rehabilitation program (IPRP) and its evidence to support its effectiveness. Finally, the clinical implications of rehabilitation counseling and psychology as part of the inter-disciplinary program in treating individuals with chronic pain will be highlighted.

Role of ghrelin in cognitive impairment of hypertensive elders with chronic psychological distress

Objective:To investigate ghrelin level change in combination with psychological stress in the hypertensive old people with cognitive impairment and to explore its effect as well as possible mechanism.Methods:The study population of 300 elders was divided into 2 groups,148 with hypertension and 152 non-hypertension,who were screened for psychological distress and cognition function,and had blood drawn to measure plasma levels of ghrelin and total cortisol on the same day.Results:The rates of anxiety and cognitive impairment were higher in the hypertension elders,which were negatively correlated with plasma ghrelin level,resulted from chronic cortisol response to anxiety.Conclusion:Chronic plasma cortisol increase to long-term anxiety leads a reduce in ghrelin level which then adversely affects blood pressure and cognitive function in old people.So measuring ghrelin of elders may be a diagnostic tool to predict cognitive development and ghrelin may be a selective antihypertensive medicine for cognitive impairment elders with or without chronic psychological stress.

Application and effect evaluation of behavioral cognitive training in group psychological counseling for workplace people

The purpose of this study is to explore the application and effect of behavioral cognitive training in group psychological counseling in the workplace.Based on the explanation of behavioral cognition theory,combined with the psychological characteristics and needs of the workplace population,the paper designs and implements a targeted group psychological counseling program,and analyzes the effects of counseling with a variety of evaluation methods.The results show that behavioral cognitive training has a significant effect,which provides a theoretical basis and practical reference for workplace mental health intervention.

Psychological Issues for Patients Undergoing Stem Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine

Stem cell therapy is a relatively new treatment modality in the field of regenerative medicine. The therapy is gaining increased awareness and acceptance by the public. There are multiple factors that contribute to a stem cell procedure for regenerative medicine in order for it to be successful. One of these factors is a patient’s mental health and psychological state. The role and significance of a counsellor/psychologist will be examined as a crucial part of the regenerative medicine team. Pre-existing issues of depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), addiction, low self-esteem and high levels of stress could adversely affect outcomes. For example, fears and phobias are counter-productive for planned regenerative therapy. The counsellor must also assess and determine that the patient is mentally and psychologically healthy. In addition, advice is necessary for the patient to have realistic expectations in order for them to be eligible for treatment. Some patients are not suitable for stem cells and other regenerative procedures until psychological treatment is successful, particularly in body image dysmorphia. A comprehensive psychological assessment is needed and answers must be provided for patients by the counsellor during all phases of the treatment.

Support and Companionship in Virtual Communities: Establishing a COVID-19 Counseling Network for Soldiers and the Collective Healing Phenomenon

Counseling people,particularly those in the military engaged in group living,who are in quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic is a challenge.Therefore,supporting the people in quarantine who are experiencing psy-chological and interpersonal problems has become a new challenge in military mental health.This study’s primary concern was how to overcome the problems caused by physical quarantine.The study subject was a virtual coun-seling network and its operating experience during the quarantine period in Taiwan amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic.For soldiers who mainly live in groups,this study discussed how the virtual counseling network combined with the existing military support group to determine what influence the network had on peo-ple in quarantine.This study found that this group exhibited four types of experiences:togetherness,empathy,confidence,and belonging and cohesion.Such experiences are beneficial for group healing through mutual sup-port and companionship.Collective cohesion and psychological healing can be achieved through a virtual com-munity.This is worthy of attention,particularly in the pandemic or post-pandemic era.Physical isolation has become a fact of life,and such isolation is not just isolation from disease but also between regional boundaries.Counseling and support systems in virtual space or the operation of virtual teams must be considered for the future.

Social and psychological assessment of women undergoing elective oocyte cryopreservation: A 7-year analysis

Our study focused on a retrospective analysis from 2004-2011 of patients considering elective oocyte cryopreservation (OC). We investigated the psychological and social aspects related to women who electively cryopreserve oocytes. Over seven years, consulted patients (n = 315) considering non-medical OC were interviewed by the staff therapists. Social, demographic, motivational impetus, psychological factors and local to national economy were analyzed in association with trends in elective OC. Patient disclosure, fertility assessment and receptivity to potential single motherhood were other aspects examined. Statistical analysis was performed with Student’s t-test, Pearson’s correlation and Chi-square analysis. Advanced technology, decreased age (<35), anual per capita income, levels of follicular stimulant hormone (FSH) and basal antral follicular count (BAFC) were demonstrated to be the most influential factors of elective OC. The mean age of elective OC patients was 38.6 ± 1.83 with nearly 80% of these patients disclosing their decisions either with family and/or friends. Clinical perception has increasingly improved the availability and efficacy of elective oocyte cryopreservation, albeit minimal publications have studied the social and epidemiological aspects of such patients. We identified these patients are often motivated by a key life event such as a birthday, are educated and professional, and often disclose their treatment to close friends and family. Understanding the psychological aspects of egg freezing patients will engender clinicians the ability to meet patients’ needs and appropriately counsel them.

The Treatment of Essential Hypertension Based on Health Education

Objective: To investigate the treatment effect of essential hypertension based on health education. Methods: A randomized controlled field intervention trial was used in this study, patients with essential hypertension treated in community health services were subjects investigated, and psychological intervention should be carried out based on pharmaceutical services, to evaluate the effect of psychological intervention model based on pharmaceutical care on blood pressure control and overall health improvement in patients with essential hypertension. Results: Before treatment, systolic and diastolic blood pressure had no significant difference between two groups, P > 0.05. After treatment, SBP and DBP in two groups were significantly decreased compared to that before treatment in the same group. After treatment, SBP and DBP in the intervention group were significantly decreased compared with normal group, P 0.05). After treatment, the scores of the physiological health subscale and the total scale of the control group, the scores of each subscale and the total amount of the intervention group were significantly higher than those before the same group, the difference was statistically significant (P Conclusion: Under the background of the new round of medical and health system reforms, this model will help health workers and community residents establish new types of doctor-patient relationship and improve the quality of life of chronic diseases such as hypertension.

护理干预对合并抑郁的老年高血压患者的影响研究

通过对患有高血压且合并抑郁的老年患者进行护理干预,以探索出有效的护理措施。将2022年1月——2022年6月在黄河科技学院附属医院进行住院治疗的86名老年高血压且合并抑郁的患者作为研究对象,根据所在病区不同使用随机分组的方法将其随机分为干预组和对照组。对照组患者使用常规的护理方法,干预组患者在对照组患者的基础上使用的护理方法主要为正念认知疗法。比较两组患者在接受护理干预前后的抑郁自评量表(SDS)评分。在对患者进行护理干预前,两组患者的SDS评分并不存在统计学差异(P>0.05);在进行护理干预后,干预组患者的SDS评分优于对照组患者,且具有统计学差异(P<0.05)。对患有老年高血压且合并抑郁的患者进行正念认知疗法能够有效控制患者的血压变化,改善患者的抑郁情绪并提高其生活质量,具有较好的临床效果。

积极心理干预对中学生创伤后成长的影响

对经历过重大校园危机事件的中学生开展积极心理干预团体辅导干预的实验研究,结果表明,实施积极心理干预能够提高中学生创伤后成长水平,传统心理干预中蕴含着积极趋向与积极价值,可以在一定程度上提高中学生创伤后成长水平。为提高中学生的心理健康水平,学校要重视学生心理健康教育,坚持积极心理干预与传统心理干预相结合,并推广以班级为单位的积极心理干预团体辅导活动。
