Influences ofmultiple factors on pump shaft power are analyzed. Method of calculating none over-loadedprobability of motor by integration by successive reductions is put forward and then relationbetween power spare coefficient and none over-loaded reliability of electric motor is established.Influences of all factors on pump shaft power being considered completely; power spare coefficientsof motor are calculated in three kinds of heads (changing and unchanging), two kinds of dirty-outconditions. Electrical motor power spare coefficients should be chosen as 1.20 approx 1.44, 1.11approx 1.19, 1.09 approx.14 respectively when pump heads are 4, 7, 9.5 m. The results mean much toreasonable choose of electrical motors in large pump stations, increasing reliability of pump unitsand saving equipment investment. 展开更多

Based on global initiatives such as the clean energy transition and the development of renewable energy,the pumped storage power station has become a new and significant way of energy storage and regulation,and its construction environment is more complex than that of a traditional reservoir.In particular,the stability of the rock strata in the underground reservoirs is affected by the seepage pressure and rock stress,which presents some challenges in achieving engineering safety and stability.Using the advantages of the numerical simulation method in dealing deal with nonlinear problems in engineering stability,in this study,the stability of the underground reservoir of the Shidangshan(SDS)pumped storage power station was numerically calculated and quantitatively analyzed based on fluid-structure coupling theory,providing an important reference for the safe operation and management of the underground reservoir.First,using the COMSOL software,a suitablemechanicalmodel was created in accordance with the geological structure and project characteristics of the underground reservoir.Next,the characteristics of the stress field,displacement field,and seepage field after excavation of the underground reservoir were simulated in light of the seepage effect of groundwater on the nearby rock of the underground reservoir.Finally,based on the construction specifications and Molar-Coulomb criterion,a thorough evaluation of the stability of the underground reservoir was performed through simulation of the filling and discharge conditions and anti-seepage strengthening measures.The findings demonstrate that the numerical simulation results have a certain level of reliability and are in accordance with the stress measured in the project area.The underground reservoir excavation resulted in a maximum displacement value of the rock mass around the caverns of 3.56 mm in a typical section,and the safety coefficient of the parts,as determined using the Molar-Coulomb criterion,was higher than 1,indicating that the project as a whole is in a stable state. 展开更多

The finite volume method was employed tosolve the governing equations with the body fitted gridgenerated by the multi-block grid technique. By using theFluent software, the fluid flow in a model sump of the pumpstation was calculated. Compared with the experimental result,the numerical result of the example is fairly good. 展开更多

Baoying pumping station is a part of source pumping stations in East Route Project of South-to-North Water Transfer in China. Aiming at the characteristics of head varying, and making use of the function of pump adjustable blade, mathematical models of pumping station optimal operation are established and solved with genetic algorithm. For different total pumping discharge and total pumping volume of water per day, in order to minimize pumping station operation cost, the number and operation duties of running pump units are respectively determined at different periods of time in a day. The results indicate that the saving of electrical cost is significantly effected by the schemes of adjusting blade angles and time-varying electrical price when pumping certain water volume of water per day, and compared with conventional operation schemes (namely, the schemes of pumping station operation at design blade angles based on certain pumping discharge), the electrical cost is saved by 4.73%-31.27%. Also, compared with the electrical cost of conventional operation schemes, the electrical cost is saved by 2.03%-5.79% by the schemes of adjusting blade angles when pumping certain discharge. 展开更多

In this paper, a new type of pumped-storage power station with faster response speed, wider regulation range, and better stability is proposed. The operational flexible of the traditional pumped-storage power station can be improved with variable-speed pumped-storage tech no logy. Combined with chemical en ergy storage, the failure to achieve sec on d-order response speed and the insufficient safety and reliability of pumped-storage power units could be solved. With the better solar en ergy and site resources, the in teg rated performance can be improved by an optical storage system in stalled in future pumped-storage stations. Through the characteristics analysis of the new type of pumped-storage power station, three types of optimal station locations are proposed, namely, the load concentration area, new energy concentration area, and ultrahigh- voltage direct current receiver area. Taking the new pumped-storage power station as an example, the advantages of multi-energy cooperation and joint operation are analyzed. It can be predicted that the frequency and load regulation of the power grid will be more flexible, and the service capacity to the main power grid will be much stronger in the future. 展开更多

Sediment deposition in the pumping station has a huge negative impact on unit operation.The three-dimensional CFD method has been used to simulate inlet structure flow in pumping station based on the Eulerian solid- liquid two-phase flow model. The numerical results of the preliminary scheme show that sediment deposition occurs in the forebay of pumping station because of poor flow pattern therein. In order to improve hydraulic configuration in the forebay,one modified measure reconstructs water diversion weir shape,and another measure sets a water retaining sill in the approach channel. The simulation results of the modified scheme prove that back flow in the forebay has been eliminated and the sediment deposition region has also been reduced. 展开更多

This paper proposes a novel method to calculate the best installed capacity of pumped storage power station. First, we choose the day with maximum load as the typical day for every month and simulate the system running in two cases of whether the pumped storage power station is put into operation. The difference of the total coal consumption between the two cases is the peak load shifting benefit. Furthermore, we build load model and power generation model to calculate the benefit of emergency use and frequency modulation, which are the major projects of dynamic benefits. At last, on the premise of ensuring the system requirements, the developed method employs the maximum benefit of the unit capacity as the objective function to get the best installed capacity of pumped storage power station by simulations. Tests on a provincial power grid have shown that the developed method which combines of load characteristics, electric structure and other factors can get the best installed capacity of pumped storage power station easily and has a certain guiding significance for the planning and construction of the pumped storage power station. 展开更多

地下泵站进水流道数值模拟与方案优化

以典型地下泵站的进水流道为研究对象,建立数值仿真模型,分析设计方案的水力特性及存在不足,并给出优化方案.研究结果表明:在原方案中,外侧水泵进水管入口中心和圆洞出口中心的连线与来流方向的夹角达到70°,水流大角度偏转,并在进... 以典型地下泵站的进水流道为研究对象,建立数值仿真模型,分析设计方案的水力特性及存在不足,并给出优化方案.研究结果表明:在原方案中,外侧水泵进水管入口中心和圆洞出口中心的连线与来流方向的夹角达到70°,水流大角度偏转,并在进水管入口出现脱流现象,水头损失系数达到2.31~2.44,水泵进水管出口的流速分布均匀度为95.09%~96.80%,速度加权平均角为86.51°~87.41°,原方案的圆洞突扩进入压力罐,然后突缩进入水泵的进水管,且压力罐内无任何导流措施,致使局部流道产生了较大的水头损失;优化方案提出了“集管+岔管”的分流措施,通过2个60°弯头实现水流流向的偏移,平面和垂直方向均没有突扩或突缩结构,水头损失系数减小至0.93~1.07,优化方案不仅改善了流道的水力性能,也避免了开挖、衬砌压力罐.研究结果可为类似地下泵站进水流道设计提供一定依据. 展开更多

蒙开个地区河库连通工程包含南洞一级泵站、南洞二级泵站和长桥海泵站,研究水泵机组不同运行方式对各泵站运行能耗的影响有助于提升工程运行效益。构建了考虑定速节流运行方式和变频调节运行方式下3座泵站站内机组优化组合模型,运用标... 蒙开个地区河库连通工程包含南洞一级泵站、南洞二级泵站和长桥海泵站,研究水泵机组不同运行方式对各泵站运行能耗的影响有助于提升工程运行效益。构建了考虑定速节流运行方式和变频调节运行方式下3座泵站站内机组优化组合模型,运用标准遗传算法、精英保留遗传算法对模型进行求解,考虑变频调节装置成本,分析了改造方案的经济性。结果表明:精英保留遗传算法在求解精度上与标准遗传算法相差较小,但在求解效率上显著优于标准遗传算法,能够更好地求解蒙开个地区河库连通工程的泵站机组优化组合模型;变频调节运行方式的节能效果最为显著,各级泵站在流量范围中段存在高效节能段;当各级泵站大部分时间提水流量低于0.7 m^(3)/s或接近满带流量,无需变频改造;其他情况下改造后各级泵站能快速实现正向收益,经济效益较为明显。研究可为蒙开个地区河库连通工程的泵站节能改造提供参考。 展开更多

LNG接收站取水流道内水流形态复杂,泥沙淤积问题往往难以避免,特别是在含沙量较高水域,流道内泥沙淤积可能威胁接收站的正常运营。为实现LNG取水泵站不停机条件下清淤,开展取水泵站射流冲刷物理模型试验,模拟了射流冲沙装置开启后吸水间射流水流特征及冲刷效果,探究了射流冲刷设置的喷嘴与翼墙夹角、射流流量、冲刷时间等因素影响下流道内减淤清淤效果。试验结果表明,在理想状态下吸水间射流冲沙装置连续作用12h基本可达到较为理想的清淤效果;一次大风浪过后,装置连续作用0.5h基本可达到较为理想的清淤效果。清淤效果视射流流量、喷嘴与翼墙夹角以及冲刷时间不同而有差别。结合取水泵站泥沙淤积物理模型试验研究成果,取水泵站淤积区主要发生在前池、过滤池末端、吸水间和消防泵附近,建议在这些区域安装射流冲沙装置,实现不停机状态下的减淤清淤,提高取水安全保证率,从而提高运营效益。 展开更多

合理确定泵站规模一直是感潮河道排涝工程设计中的关键问题。通过建立物理模型,在选定的水文边界条件和相应工程运行要求下,对某感潮水系两座涌口泵站规模进行试验研究。试验发现,受限于河涌过流能力,泵站规模存在临界值,超过该值后,即... 合理确定泵站规模一直是感潮河道排涝工程设计中的关键问题。通过建立物理模型,在选定的水文边界条件和相应工程运行要求下,对某感潮水系两座涌口泵站规模进行试验研究。试验发现,受限于河涌过流能力,泵站规模存在临界值,超过该值后,即使再进一步增加泵站规模,水位也不会继续下降;泵站抽排对某位置水位的降低效应与泵站和该位置之间的距离密切相关,距离越近,水位降低越明显。基于上述认识,通过试验确定了满足水位管控要求的两座泵站规模的合理组合:距离相对较远的温涌泵站为80 m3/s,较近的金紫涌泵站为130 m~3/s。试验方法和主要成果可为工程方案比选及优化提供重要依据,对类似河涌整治工程也具有一定的借鉴意义。 展开更多
