Measuring Method of Radius of Curvature Based on Dual-Frequency Laser Interferometer

In order to achieve high-accuracy measurement of radius of curvature of optical sphere, ultra-high accuracy radius of curvature testing device is developed by dual-frequency laser interferometer and Fizeau interferometer based on cat’s eye and confocal method. Through analyzing the error source models of radius of curvature testing, optical configuration of the testing device has been optimized. Precise environment control and real-time monitoring system is also established to reduce the errors caused by environment. Through the above processes, the radius of curvature measurement relative accuracy is better than 2 ppm. One optical sphere, R88.5 mm, test aperture 59 mm, has been tested. Testing result is 88499.465 ± 0.176 μm, meeting the design requirement. The method has high accuracy and practical advantages. 展开更多

The pulse current method,acoustic and ultrasonic partial discharge(PD)detection,and voiceprint PD detection are commonly used detection methods for the PD detection of power equipment.To study the characteristics of PD signals of typical discharge models based on the principles of the above three detection methods,an acoustic detection experimental system consisting of a needle-tip model and a surface model was built.Acoustic tests were carried out on needle-tip models with different curvature radii and surface discharge models with different lengths of conductive paste.The experimental results showed that acoustic and ultrasonic PD detection and voiceprint PD detection exhibited different sensitivities to the needle-tip discharge models,and the combination of acoustic and ultrasonic PD and voiceprint PD detection was more beneficial for the comprehensive detection of cable PD signals.Based on voiceprint recognition technology,this study drew FFT(Fast Fourier Transformation)diagrams of different types of PD acoustic signals and analyzed the differences in the ultrasonic signal frequency distribution.The frequency band of the voiceprint PD signal of the needle-tip discharge models was concentrated in the range 17-27 kHz,and the frequency band of the voiceprint PD signal of the conductive paste discharge models was concentrated in the range 20-25 kHz.The measurement of voiceprint PD signals in these frequency bands were strengthened when the PD of a cable was detected on-site,which provides the basis for the use of the cable model for on-site PD detection. 展开更多

AIM:To investigate the proportion and characteristic of emmetropia in schoolchildren aged 6-11,especially estimate the normal value of ocular biometric parameters of emmetropia.METHODS:A population-based cross-sectional study was conducted on children aged 6-11 y in Shenzhen.Totally,2386 schoolchildren from two primary schools were involved.The axial length(AL)and the corneal radius of curvature(CRC)were measured by partial coherence laser interferometry.Noncycloplegic refraction and refractive astigmatism(RA)was measured using autorefraction.The axial length-to-corneal radius of curvature ratio(AL/CRC),corneal astigmatism(CA)and spherical equivalent refraction(SER)were calculated.RESULTS:The proportion of emmetropia in elementary school students was 41.30%.This percentage decreased gradually from 6 to 11 years of age and decreased rapidly after 9 years of age.The mean and 95%CI of each parameter were provided for boys and girls aged 6 to 11 years of age with emmetropia according to each age group.The change trend of parameters of boys and girls are similar.After 7 years of age,the AL of non-emmetropia started to increase faster than that of emmetropia.The change trend of AL/CRC was the same as that of AL.The other parameters tend to be stable after 7 years of age.CONCLUSION:The age of 7-9 is an important period for the changes of refractive state and ocular biometric parameters of primary school students,and it is a special focus period for children myopia prevention.The normal value and variation of ocular biometric parameters of emmetropia can provide the basis for the clinical judgment of whether or not children’s ocular biometric parameters obtained by single measurement and changes obtained by multiple measurements are abnormal. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Myopia and high myopia are global public health concerns.Patients with high myopia account for 0.5%-5.0%of the global population.AIM To examine diopters,axial length(AL),higher-order aberrations,and other ocular parameters in Chinese children with myopia,to analyze the influence of structural parameters associated with myopia on visual quality,and to provide a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of childhood myopia and high myopia.METHODS This study included 195 children aged 6–17 years with myopia.The AL was measured with an ultrasonic ophthalmic diagnostic instrument,and the aberrations,corneal curvature(minimum K1,maximum K2,and average Km),central corneal thickness,anterior chamber depth,and anterior chamber angle were measured using a Sirius three-dimensional anterior segment analyzer.Using a standard formula,the corneal radius of curvature R(337.3/Km)and AL/R values were obtained.RESULTS The diopter of high myopia compared with low-middle myopia was correlated with age and AL(r=-0.336,-0.405,P<0.001),and AL of high myopia was negatively correlated with K1,K2,and Km(r=-0.673,-0.661,and-0.680,respectively;P<0.001),and positively correlated with age and the anterior chamber depth(r=0.214 and 0.275,respectively;P<0.05).AL/R was more closely related to diopter than AL in children with myopia,and 94.4%of children with myopia had an AL/R of>3.00.CONCLUSION The ocular structural parameters of children change because of different diopters.AL/R is more specific and sensitive than AL in evaluating the refractive status of myopia in children.An AL/R of>3.00 may be used as a specific index of myopia in children.There are differences in AL/R between high myopia and low-middle myopia,which can be used for the classification of ametropia.The degree of myopia has a certain influence on higher-order aberrations. 展开更多

An elliptical Gaussian wave formalism model of a charged-particle beam is proposed by analogy with an elliptical Gaussian light beam. In the paraxial approximation, the charged-particle beam can be described as a whole by a complex radius of curvature in the real space domains. Therefore, the propagation and transform of charged-particle beam passing through a first-order optical system is represented by the ABCD-like law. As an example of the application of this model, the relation between the beam waist and the minimum beam spot at a fixed target is discussed. The result, well matches that from conventional phase space model, and proves that the Gaussian wave formalism model is highly effective and reasonable. 展开更多

Both a Schr<span style="white-space:nowrap;">?</span>dinger and a Second Quantized representation of the space-time curvature mode quanta are calculated and are fourth rank tensors.
