Considering the fuzzy randomness of the structural physical parameters and geometric dimensions simultaneously, the structural stiffness and mass matrices axe constructed based on the fuzzy factor method and random factor method; from the Rayleigh's quotient of structural vibration, the structural fuzzy random dynamic characteristic is obtained by means of the interval arithmetic; the fuzzy numeric characteristics of dynamic characteristic axe then derived by using the random variable's moment function method and algebra synthesis method. Two examples axe used to illustrate the validity and rationality of the method given. The advantage of this method is that the effect of the fuzzy randomness of one of the structural parameters on the fuzzy randomness of the dynamic characteristic can be reflected expediently and objectively.展开更多

It is revealed that the RS characteristics show strong dependence on technological parameters mainly by altering the defects (oxygen vacancies) in the film. The sample with thickness of 2Onto and Ar/O2 ratio of 12:3 exhibits the best RS behavior with the potential of multilevel storage. The conduction mechanism of all the films is interpreted based on the filamentary model.展开更多

In this paper, a mathematical method is developed to study the motions and elastic deformations of elastic floating collars in random waves. The irregular wave is simulated by the random phase method and the statistical approach and Fourier transfer are applied to analyze the elastic response in both time and frequency domains. The governing equations of motions are established by Newton's second law, and the governing equations of deformations are obtained based on curved beam theory and modal superposition method. In order to validate the numerical model of the floating collar attacked by random waves, a series of physical model tests are conducted. Good relationship between numerical simulation and experimental observations is obtained. The numerical results indicate that the transfer function of out-of-plane and in-plane deformations increase with the increasing of wave frequency. In the frequency range between 0.6 Hz and 1.1 Hz, a linear relationship exists between the wave elevations and the deformations. The average phase difference between the wave elevation and out-of-plane deformation is 60° with waves leading and the phase between the wave elevation and in-plane deformation is 10° with waves lagging. In addition, the effect of fish net on the elastic response is analyzed. The results suggest that the deformation of the floating collar with fish net is a little larger than that without net.展开更多

The greater the nonsymmetry, the greater the pressure fluctuation and random vibration of structures. This paper deals with an attempt to determine the fluctuating pressure characteristics in the shaft. Stochastic theory and random time series are employed to analyse the sample function x(t) , its x(t) and x(t), and their correlations:The moments of the spectra are obtained:The fluctuating pressure characteristics are related to the non-symmetric inlet vortex. The relation between the point pressure spectra and fluctuating pressures on the shaft wall are indicated and discussed. This paper gas further into the simulated test on the framed over-flow tower and puts forward an effective proposed way. Further work was carried out in this investigation of the statistical absorption coefficients of MPA in random fields by computation, in order to find the best. structure of MPA. It is established that ordinarily the absorption curves of MPA for random incidence and that for normal incidence are quite alike, only that the absorption coefficients are more or less reduced and the whole curve is shifted to higher frequencies without any change of shape. But when the perforate constant k = d ωρ0/4η where d is the diameters of perforations in mm and f0, the absorbers resonance frequency is reduced below 2, say, secondary absorption bands start to play more important role. Pretty soon, they merge with the main absorption band and form a long tail of the latter, extending the absorption far into high frequencies, raising the resulting absorption band to three, four or more octaves. The behavior of the secondary absorption bands is discussed.展开更多
