It has excellent pH response characteristics with the linear response range (1.7—13.2)much wider than that of similar SPM pH sensors reported so far. Also, since the dielectric elastomer transducer is an actuator developed into an artificial muscle, if the DE motor is further developed, it might be possibly be able to drive a vehicle. Efficient robot driving, various industrial machines and the use of dielectric elastomer sensors to optimize the driving may also help solve the above problems from the perspective of eco-driving. This paper describes the latest level of development of dielectric elastomers, their main problems and solutions to these problems, and their potential applications. The possibilities and concrete plans for building local global smart cities (including local generation power for local consumption), efficient transportation, and environmental monitoring systems utilizing dielectric elastomers are also discussed.展开更多

This paper built the input-output differential equation of Dual Range Pressure Sensor(DRPS) and gave an error compensation algorithm of DRPS after analyzing the mathematical model of DRPS. For a given situation, dynamic measurement errors of sensor parameters can be compensated by this method. Finally the accuracy and feasibility of the method were verified using Adams Software.展开更多
In this study,a multi-object tracking(MOT)scheme based on a light detection and ranging sensor was proposed to overcome imprecise velocity observations in object occlusion scenarios.By applying real-time velocity esti...In this study,a multi-object tracking(MOT)scheme based on a light detection and ranging sensor was proposed to overcome imprecise velocity observations in object occlusion scenarios.By applying real-time velocity estimation,a modified unscented Kalman filter(UKF)was proposed for the state estimation of a target object.The proposed method can reduce the calculation cost by obviating unscented transformations.Additionally,combined with the advantages of a two-reference-point selection scheme based on a center point and a corner point,a reference point switching approach was introduced to improve tracking accuracy and consistency.The state estimation capability of the proposed UKF was verified by comparing it with the standard UKF in single-target tracking simulations.Moreover,the performance of the proposed MOT system was evaluated using real traffic datasets.展开更多
