To reduce the contour error, a PI-type cross-coupling controller is designed, with its stability being analyzed by using the contour error transfer function. Moreover, a feed rate regulator based on the chord error constraint is proposed, which performs speed planning with the maximum feed rate allowed by the large curvature position as the constraint condition, so as to meet the requirements of large curvature positions for the chord error. Besides, an improved position error compensation method is further presented by combining the feed rate regulator with the position error compensator, which improves the tracking accuracy via the advance compensation of tracking error. The biaxial experimental results of non-uniform rational B-splines curves indicate that the proposed integrated control strategy can significantly improve the tracking and contour control accuracy in biaxial contour following tasks.展开更多

However, it is difficult to obtain its value from voltage measurements because it has an implicit form. If it can be expressed as a polynomial, a semiconductor's resistivity can be obtained from such measurements. Normally, five orders of the abscissa can provide sufficient precision during the expression of any non-linear function. Therefore, the key is to determine the coefficients of the polynomial. By taking five coefficients as weights to construct a neuronetwork, neurocomputing has been used to solve this problem. Finally, the polynomial expression for van der Pauw's function is obtained.展开更多

To address this problem, a novel scheme for congestion avoidance, detection and alleviation (CADA) in WSNs is proposed in this paper. By exploiting data characteristics, a small number of representative nodes are chosen from those in the event area as data sources, so that the source traffic can be suppressed proactively to avoid potential congestion. Once congestion occurs inevitably due to traffic mergence, it will be detected in a timely way by the hotspot node based on a combination of buffer occupancy and channel utilization. Congestion is then alleviated reactively by either dynamic traffic multiplexing or source rate regulation in accordance with the specific hotspot scenarios. Extensive simulation results under typical congestion scenarios are presented to illuminate the distinguished performance of the proposed scheme.展开更多

The original shroud model composed of the impingement holes, film holes and jet channel. The two modified models have identical geometrical spacing except for the number and location of the orifices in the upper plate of the throttle chamber added in the jet channel. Different pressure values were set at the outlets of different row film holes simulating the mainstream favorable pressure gradient. The ratios of inlet total pressures of impingement holes to outlet static pressures of the third row film holes ranged from 1.6 to 3.6. The Nusselt number distributions were validated by the experimental data. The main target of this study was to quantify the impact of the throttle chamber on the flow regulation and internal heat transfer characteristics. The flow factor, relative mass flow rate, the Nusselt number and the heat transfer factors on the target walls were presented. It is found that the mass flow rate distributions in the film hole rows become more reasonable by the modification of location and number of the orifices on the throttle chamber. The throttle chamber decreases the heat transfer on the target walls.展开更多
