Research on Combined Construction Technology for Cross-Subway Tunnels in Underground Spaces

Given the increasingly notable segmentation of underground space by existing subway tunnels, it is dif- ficult to effectively and adequately develop and utilize underground space in busy parts of a city. This study presents a combined construction technology that has been developed for use in underground spaces; it includes a deformation buffer layer, a special grouting technique, jump excavation by compart- ment, back-pressure portal frame technology, a reinforcement technique, and the technology of a steel portioning drum or plate. These technologies have been successfully used in practical engineering. The combined construction technology presented in this paper provides a new method of solving key techni- cal problems in underground spaces in effectively used cross-subway tunnels. As this technology has achieved significant economic and social benefits, it has valuable future applications.

Dynamics and adaptive control of a dual-arm space robot with closed-loop constraints and uncertain inertial parameters

A dynamics-based adaptive control approach is proposed for a planar dual-arm space robot in the presence of closed-loop constraints and uncertain inertial parameters of the payload. The controller is capable of controlling the po- sition and attitude of both the satellite base and the payload grasped by the manipulator end effectors. The equations of motion in reduced-order form for the constrained system are derived by incorporating the constraint equations in terms of accelerations into Kane＇s equations of the unconstrained system. Model analysis shows that the resulting equations perfectly meet the requirement of adaptive controller design. Consequently, by using an indirect approach, an adaptive control scheme is proposed to accomplish position/attitude trajectory tracking control with the uncertain parameters be- ing estimated on-line. The actuator redundancy due to the closed-loop constraints is utilized to minimize a weighted norm of the joint torques. Global asymptotic stability is proven by using Lyapunov＇s method, and simulation results are also presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Construction of Ecological Green Space System in Yan'an City,China

Ecosystem of Yan'an City is being faced with serious problems such as increasing pressure of protecting ecological elements,and contradictions in utilization of ecological spaces.To enhance supervision over regional ecological resources,guide the orderly expansion of urban spaces,construct a stable eco-security pattern for sustainable development of the city,and create an urban environment favorable for living and working,this study follows the principles of "ecology on the priority,landscape continuity,diversity,optimization of layout,and sustainability".By analyzing distribution features of ecological resources in Yan'an City,considering rules of its urban space expansion,and studying the "ring-wedge-network" spatial pattern of its ecological green spaces,this study is to build an ecological network with a complete spatial system,definite ecological zoning and characteristic landscapes in which ecological elements are protected comprehensively,ecological conservation,restoration and construction promoted simultaneously.

Construction of Vitality of Public Space in New Urban Area:A Case Study of Honggutan New District of Nanchang City

As display window of urban vitality,public space carries the colorful life of the residents living here and shows the spiritual outlook of a certain region.As a rising star,new urban area lacks historical accumulation and smell of fireworks when compared with old urban area.How to stimulate the vitality of public space in new urban area has become an unavoidable problem.In this paper,Honggutan New District of Nanchang City is taken as research object,to analyze the relationship between the representation of population vitality and the physical space in new urban area,and explore strategies for creating vitality of public space in new urban area.

乡村公共空间的建构--文化展示需求下的建造设计方法探究

乡村文化振兴是乡村振兴的重要精神支撑,乡村公共空间则是村民集体活动的重要实物载体,却未能利用其优势承担文化展示责任。该文针对乡村公共空间的建造设计方法,选择三组案例进行分析,从建筑形式、材料知觉感受、建造技艺角度分析乡村公共空间的文化展示方式,总结建筑师在乡村公共空间中文化展示的多种倾向,从建构角度为乡村公共空间的文化展示设计提供方法与思路。

Social Construction Functions of Consumption Space under Stratification:The Case of Guangzhou

As Chinese cities rapidly transformed themselves into consumerist societies,the relationship between consumers and consumption space under stratification has become a new research area in the field of urban social geography.Based on a consumer behavior analysis,this study explores the relationship between consumption space and the social strata of consumers in typical shopping malls in Guangzhou where the first shopping mall in China was built.The result shows that shopping malls have performed significant constructive functions of organizing consumers from different social classes into different consumption space.For middle-and upper-class consumers,the function of shopping malls centers on utilitarian consumption,identity recognition,and identity construction;whereas for lower-class consumers,its function revolves around pleasure and enjoyment.The symbolism of consumption space is the underlying reason for shopping malls to have their social constructive function.The findings of this research suggest that:1) a shopping mall is a productive consumption space and a geographical space with subjectivity;2) the micro-location of a shopping mall has social construction function;and 3) symbolic consumption is the core of social construction.

Research on the Construction Characteristics of Stone-Built Folk Houses in Jiarong Tibetan Area <br/>—Take the Stone-Built Houses in Xisuo Village as an Example

The Jiarong Tibetan traditional residence is a characteristic regional architecture, located in a high-intensity, high-altitude and cold area, with geographic identification, and is a typical representative of this ethnic group. It has also become an important tourist destination and has important research value. The research used the methods of field survey surveying and mapping to conduct field survey and surveying on 20 buildings in Xisuo Village, a traditional village in the Jiarong Tibetan area. Measure building plans, elevations, and building sections, and collect measurement data for statistical analysis. The results show that the average total height of the building is 10.08 m, the average total building span is 12.44 m, the average total depth is 10.87 m, and the squareness is 0.87. The square shape of the building is more in line with the seismic requirements of high-intensity areas and the local terrain environment. The maximum window-wall ratio in the building is 0.18 south for the second floor, and 0.025 west for the first floor. Smaller window-to- wall ratios have better adaptability to high-altitude cold areas. The height of the building beam section is generally from 0.17 m to 0.32 m, and the average Beam span-depth ratio is 0.10. The building space construction has a good match with the properties of wood materials. These conclusions quantitatively analyze the characteristics of stone-built houses in high-intensity, high-altitude and cold areas, supplement the research on ethnic regional architecture, and provide materials and references for the design, repair and update of related buildings.

On the Construction of Deepening Anti - corruption Mechanism

Anti-corruption mechanism refers to a organic operation system of the interaction,interconnection and constraint between the constituent elements( parts) and elements of national anti-corruption,and as a system,anti-corruption mechanism should have the characteristics of system aticness,comprehensiveness,transparency,legalization,public participation,scientific dynam ic,and internationalism. The construction of deepening anti-corruption mechanism is the need for reconstructing the ruling legitimacy of the party and the governm ent. Adhering to the principle of treating both root causes and symptoms is necessary in the construction of anti-corruption m echanism,com bating and punishing corruption is an important part of anti-corruption,and the prevention and control of corruption is the basic project of anti-corruption. Therefore,the construction of prevention and control mechanism in the anti-corruption mechanism has a more far-reaching significance.

Review of the Space Environment Construction of Mountainous Temples in Northern Shaanxi

Although Shaanxi is one of the birthplaces of China＇s Buddhism and Taoism, and temples are extensively distributed across the region, there is not much research on the temple gardens. This is especially true in the Northern Shaanxi area where has harsh natural environmental conditions. Here, a number of mountain temples reflect the constructional wisdom of the ancient monks and conform to the Chinese classical garden. The space environment of Buddhist temples, Taoist temples and the celebrity temples tiiat are both in good condition and located in the mountainous envitonment are taken as the object of this research. In addition to the analysis of examples, a systematic review of the distribution, site selection and space construction of mountain temples in Northern Shaanxi is performed, to provide references for the space environment construction of modem temples or gardens.

Space Construction and Environmental Adaptability of Traditional Living Spaces in Turpan

Turpan traditional residences are primitive green buildings adaptive to the climate, materials and geographical conditions of the arid regions. The environmental adaptability of local residences and the construction methods was elaborated to provide references for building new oasis settlements in the local area.

The Form Characteristics and Construction of the Public Space of the Oasis Traditional Settlements in Turpan

Based on the analysis of the form characteristics and construction of the public space of oasis traditional settlements in Turpan,and from the analysis and summary of the types,elements,scales and functions of the public space of the traditional settlements,this study put forward that the public space of the oasis villages can be divided into point space,line space and plane space,and the formation and evolution rules of the public space of oasis traditional settlements in Turpan were obtained.Explore the role of public space in the construction of traditional settlements’ overall space,so as to provide reference for the development and renewal of public space of the current similar oasis settlements.

Eigen-Space Decomposition(ESD)Method for the Design of Internal Model Controller(IMC)from Noisy Input and Output Plant Data

A novel approach to design Internal Model Controller(IMC)is proposed in this paper directly from measuredinput and output plant data,which are assumed to becontaminated by measurement noise.In order to avoidthe complicated structure-identification problem inmost cases,two Finite Impulse Response(FIR)modelsare taken to represent the plant model and the internalmodel controller respectively.Taking account of mea-surement noise both in the plant input and its output,anESD based Total Least Squares(TLS)solution is appliedfor the unbiased identification of the plant model and itsinverse model,the latter constitutes the internal modelcontroller according to the principle that the internalmodel controller approximates the inverse dynamics ofthe plant model.Simulations are given for a testifica-tion.

Locating Power and Decision-Making： Social Production of Space in Juiz de Fora, Brazil

This paper aims to discuss how the shaping of a city, Juiz de Fora, in Brazil, has resulted from the power of location of some social agents and from their disputes on the production of space. First, it introduces the concept of social production of space, emphasizing the role of social agents in urban processes. Then, it presents specific aspects of the history of Juiz de Fora＂ its origins and how social agents and forces have played a significant role in shaping the built environment of the city--specially represented by main streets of the city. The paper studies how the social agents, with their different visions and goals, have influenced the process of formation and development of the city. This demonstrates the complexity of the existing relationships between the built environment and the social context that is specific to the city. Different urban forces fight for city spaces, construct and modify its territory so that their needs are fulfilled. Their strength, their experiences and efforts, and their ideas of a city are inscribed in urban landscapes; in similar ways, these are revealed by the city paths we follow here.

The Third Space Identity Construction： A Narrative Inquiry into a Chinese College EFL Learner’s Experience of Online Intercultural Writing Exchange

Drawing on in-depth interviews with a Chinese EFL learner, this qualitative study explores her identity changes throughout her engagement in the third space-the online intercultural writing exchange. The findings show that her productive construction of the third space is marked by a transformation from a reticent student to an open thought sharer and her claim of a legitimate ownership of using English as a global language. A split is exposed between her newly acquired English rhetorical conventions and her deeply rooted perceptions in the Chinese context. It is suggested by the study that EFL learners be provided greater opportunities to explore language as both a linguistic system and a sociocultural practice where they can exercise their agency and expand the range of identities.

Digital Twin-Driven Intelligent Construction:Features and Trends

Digital twin(DT)can achieve real-time information fusion and interactive feedback between virtual space and physical space.This technology involves a digital model,real-time information management,comprehensive intelligent perception networks,etc.,and it can drive the rapid conceptual development of intelligent construction(IC)such as smart factories,smart cities,and smart medical care.Nevertheless,the actual use of DT in IC is partially pending,with numerous scientific factors still not clarified.An overall survey on pending issues and unsolved scientific factors is needed for the development of DT-driven IC.To this end,this study aims to provide a comprehensive review of the state of the art and state of the use of DT-driven IC.The use of DT in planning,design,manufacturing,operation,and maintenance management of IC is demonstrated and analyzed,following which the driving functions of DT in IC are detailed from four aspects:information perception and analysis,data mining and modeling,state assessment and prediction,intelligent optimization and decision-making.Furthermore,the future direction of research,using DT in IC,is presented with some comments and suggestions.This work will help researchers gain in-depth and systematic understanding of the use of DT,and help practitioners to better promote its implementation in IC.

The novel Ready Player One shows Ernest Cline’s ability of space construction,and demonstrates charm and artistic value of the virtual fantasy space it depicts.It is a science fiction with perfect combination of ideological content and artistic form.This thesis aims to discuss the Ernest Cline’s construction of the virtual pace and the real space in Ready Player One and the function of their construction.In real space,the environment is awful and dilapidated,and people’s lives are depressed.While in the virtual space,the world is colorful and people have varied ways of entertainment to fulfill their mind.This Thesis summarizes the effects brought by both the real space and virtual space for Ready Player One.With such a strong contrast,the conflict between the two spaces promotes the narrative process and also highlights the theme of the novel.
