The retarding effect of protein retarder on phosphorus building gypsum(PBG)and desulfurization building gypsum(DBG)was investigated,and the results show that protein retarder for DBG can effectively prolong the settin...The retarding effect of protein retarder on phosphorus building gypsum(PBG)and desulfurization building gypsum(DBG)was investigated,and the results show that protein retarder for DBG can effectively prolong the setting time and displays a better retarding effect,but for PBG shows a poor retarding effect.Furthermore,the deterioration reason of the retarding effect of protein retarder on PBG was investigated by measuring the pH value and the retarder concentration of the liquid phase from vacuum filtration of PBG slurry at different hydration time,and the measure to improve the retarding effect of protein retarding on PBG was suggested.The pH value of PBG slurry(<5.0)is lower than that of DBG slurry(7.8-8.5).After hydration for 5 min,the concentration of retarder in liquid phase of DBG slurry gradually decreases,but in liquid phase of PBG slurry continually increases,which results in the worse retarding effect of protein retarder on PBG.The liquid phase pH value of PBG slurry can be adjusted higher by sodium silicate,which is beneficial to improvement in the retarding effect of the retarder.By adding 1.0%of sodium silicate,the initial setting time of PBG was efficiently prolonged from 17 to 210 min,but little effect on the absolute dry flexural strength was observed.展开更多
Background: Clinical reasoning is a critical cognitive skill that enables undergraduate nursing students to make clinically sound decisions. The...Background: Clinical reasoning is a critical cognitive skill that enables undergraduate nursing students to make clinically sound decisions. A lapse in clinical reasoning can result in unintended harm to patients. The aim of the study was to assess and compare the levels of clinical reasoning skills between third year and fourth year undergraduate nursing students. Methods: The study utilized a descriptive comparative research design, based on the positivism paradigm. 410 undergraduate nursing students were systematically sampled and recruited into the study. The researchers used the Self-Assessment of Clinical Reflection and Reasoning questionnaire to collect data on clinical reasoning skills from third- and fourth-year nursing students while adhering to ethical principles of human dignity. Descriptive statistics were done to analyse the level of clinical reasoning and an independent sample t-test was performed to compare the clinical reasoning skills of the student. A p value of 0.05 was accepted. Results: The results of the study revealed that the mean clinical reasoning scores of the undergraduate nursing students were knowledge/theory application (M = 3.84;SD = 1.04);decision-making based on experience and evidence (M = 4.09;SD = 1.01);dealing with uncertainty (M = 3.93;SD = 0.87);reflection and reasoning (M = 3.77;SD = 3.88). The mean difference in clinical reasoning skills between third- and fourth-year undergraduate nursing students was not significantly different from an independent sample t-test scores (t = −1.08;p = 0.28);(t = −0.29;p = 0.73);(t = 1.19;p = 0.24);(t = −0.57;p = 0.57). Since the p-value is >0.05, the null hypothesis (H0) “there is no significantno significant difference in clinical reasoning between third year and fourth year undergraduate nursing students”, was accepted. Conclusion: This study has shown that the level of clinical reasoning skills of the undergraduate nursing students was moderate to low. This meant that the teaching methods have not been effective to improve the students clinical reasoning skills. Therefore, the training institutions should revise their curriculum by incorporating new teaching methods like simulation to enhance students’ clinical reasoning skills. In conclusion, evaluating clinical reasoning skills is crucial for addressing healthcare issues, validating teaching methods, and fostering continuous improvement in nursing education.展开更多

In the CAPP software package, a new process planning method called the successive casebased reasoning is presented. Using the method, process planning procedures are divided into three layers (the process planning, the process procedure and the process step), which are treated with the successive process reasoning. Process planning rules can be regularly described due to the granularity-based rule classification. The CAPP software package combines CAPP software with online services. A quantitative model is built and the historical variation of natural disasters is analyzed in this paper,by using materials as affected area(damaged area),affected population(dead and injured),casualty of livestock,c...A quantitative model is built and the historical variation of natural disasters is analyzed in this paper,by using materials as affected area(damaged area),affected population(dead and injured),casualty of livestock,collapsed houses(damaged houses),decrease of crops yield,economic loss(direct and indirect) and price index over the same period of Ningxia natural disasters(include drought,flood,gale and hail,frost,pest disasters and other disasters) during 1978-2007,and applying gray correlation analysis method.The long-term changes trend of natural disasters is analyzed by the application of the least squares method for linear trend,and the oscillation period is analyzed by using the maximum entropy statistical method.It is found that natural disasters have basically 2 to 3 years of variation period either in the whole region or in the individual regions;from the mid 1980s to the late 1990s,Ningxia is in an oscillation period with disasters attacked frequently in decadal and interannual scale under the background of climate;the increase of damage intensity of natural disasters slow down and tends to decrease since 2000.展开更多

Specifically, it summarizes several types of knowledge reasoning approaches, including logic rules-based, representation-based, and neural network-based methods. Moreover, this paper analyzes the representation methods of knowledge hypergraphs. To effectively model hyper-relational data and improve the performance of knowledge reasoning, a three-layer knowledge hypergraph model is proposed. The one-wheel car model to be treated here can be approximately described...This paper presents the construction of an active suspension control of a one-wheel car model using fuzzy reasoning and a disturbance observer. The one-wheel car model to be treated here can be approximately described as a nonlinear two degrees of freedom system subject to excitation from a road profile. The active control is designed as the fuzzy control inferred by using single input rule modules fuzzy reasoning, and the active control force is released by actuating a pneumatic actuator. The excitation from the road profile is estimated by using a disturbance observer, and the estimate is denoted as one of the variables in the precondition part of the fuzzy control rules. A compensator is inserted to counter the performance degradation due to the delay of the pneumatic actuator. The experimental result indicates that the proposed active suspension system improves much the vibration suppression of the car model. Natural language processing(NLP)is a subfield of artificial intelligence that focuses on enabling computers to understand and process human languages.In the last five years,we have witnessed the rapid development of N...Natural language processing(NLP)is a subfield of artificial intelligence that focuses on enabling computers to understand and process human languages.In the last five years,we have witnessed the rapid development of NLP in tasks such as machine translation,question-answering,and machine reading comprehension based on deep learning and an enormous volume of annotated and unannotated data.In this paper,we will review the latest progress in the neural network-based NLP framework(neural NLP)from three perspectives:modeling,learning,and reasoning.In the modeling section,we will describe several fundamental neural network-based modeling paradigms,such as word embedding,sentence embedding,and sequence-to-sequence modeling,which are widely used in modern NLP engines.In the learning section,we will introduce widely used learning methods for NLP models,including supervised,semi-supervised,and unsupervised learning;multitask learning;transfer learning;and active learning.We view reasoning as a new and exciting direction for neural NLP,but it has yet to be well addressed.In the reasoning section,we will review reasoning mechanisms,including the knowledge,existing non-neural inference methods,and new neural inference methods.We emphasize the importance of reasoning in this paper because it is important for building interpretable and knowledgedriven neural NLP models to handle complex tasks.At the end of this paper,we will briefly outline our thoughts on the future directions of neural NLP.展开更多

The problem of fault reasoning has aroused great concern in scientific and engineering fields.However,fault investigation and reasoning of complex system is not a simple reasoning decision-making problem.It has become...The problem of fault reasoning has aroused great concern in scientific and engineering fields.However,fault investigation and reasoning of complex system is not a simple reasoning decision-making problem.It has become a typical multi-constraint and multi-objective reticulate optimization decision-making problem under many influencing factors and constraints.So far,little research has been carried out in this field.This paper transforms the fault reasoning problem of complex system into a paths-searching problem starting from known symptoms to fault causes.Three optimization objectives are considered simultaneously: maximum probability of average fault,maximum average importance,and minimum average complexity of test.Under the constraints of both known symptoms and the causal relationship among different components,a multi-objective optimization mathematical model is set up,taking minimizing cost of fault reasoning as the target function.Since the problem is non-deterministic polynomial-hard(NP-hard),a modified multi-objective ant colony algorithm is proposed,in which a reachability matrix is set up to constrain the feasible search nodes of the ants and a new pseudo-random-proportional rule and a pheromone adjustment mechinism are constructed to balance conflicts between the optimization objectives.At last,a Pareto optimal set is acquired.Evaluation functions based on validity and tendency of reasoning paths are defined to optimize noninferior set,through which the final fault causes can be identified according to decision-making demands,thus realize fault reasoning of the multi-constraint and multi-objective complex system.Reasoning results demonstrate that the improved multi-objective ant colony optimization(IMACO) can realize reasoning and locating fault positions precisely by solving the multi-objective fault diagnosis model,which provides a new method to solve the problem of multi-constraint and multi-objective fault diagnosis and reasoning of complex system.展开更多
Land cover classification is the core of converting satellite imagery to available geographic data.However,spectral signatures do not always provide enough information in classification decisions.Thus,the application ...Land cover classification is the core of converting satellite imagery to available geographic data.However,spectral signatures do not always provide enough information in classification decisions.Thus,the application of multi-source data becomes necessary.This paper presents an evidential reasoning (ER) approach to incorporate Landsat TM imagery,altitude and slope data.Results show that multi-source data contribute to the classification accuracy achieved by the ER method,whereas play a negative role to that derived by maximum likelihood classifier (MLC).In comparison to the results derived based on TM imagery alone,the overall accuracy rate of the ER method increases by 7.66% and that of the MLC method decreases by 8.35% when all data sources (TM plus altitude and slope) are accessible.The ER method is regarded as a better approach for multi-source image classification.In addition,the method produces not only an accurate classification result,but also the uncertainty which presents the inherent difficulty in classification decisions.The uncertainty associated to the ER classification image is evaluated and proved to be useful for improved classification accuracy.展开更多

This has been the bottleneck problem to block the wide application and development of DSmT. Aiming at this difficulty,in this paper,a kind of fast approximate reasoning method in hierarchical DSmT is proposed. Presently,this method is only fit for the case that there are only singletons with assignment in hyper-power set. These singletons in hyper-power set are forced to group through bintree or tri-tree technologies. At the same time,the assignments of singletons in those different groups corresponding to each source are added up respectively,in order to realize the mapping from the refined hyper-power set to the coarsened one. And then,two sources with the coarsened hyper-power set are combined together according to classical DSm Combination rule (DSmC) and Proportional Conflict Redistribution rule No. 5 (PCR5). The fused results in coarsened framework will be saved as the connecting weights between father and children nodes. And then,all assignments of singletons in different groups will be normalized respectively. Tree depth is set,in order to decide the iterative times in hierarchical system. Finally,by comparing new method with old one from different views,the superiority of new one over old one is testified well.展开更多

This paper probes the structure of moral feeling and reason described by Mencius's from five perspectives: (1) In view of the relationship between feeling and reason, is it better to use the expression "siduan" or the expression "sixin (Four Heart-minds)"? (2) In view of dispositional feeling, what are the four original sources? (3) In view of moral feeling, what are the structural order of the four sources and the corresponding procedure of reasoning of four heart-minds of Humanity? (4) In view of positive feeling, how does moral feeling grow out of the goodness of human nature? (5) What is the global value of Mencius's ideas on human moral feeling? The author concludes that Mencius's thought on moral feeing has a global value and cross-cultural significance, and that Chinese wisdom is more than regional but universally applicable. The structure of moral feeling and reason that Mencius identified is in accordance with the principles ofzhiliang (grasping the two poles of the beginning and the end) and yongzhong (emloying the middle). The principles ofzhiliang and yongzhong are true universal wisdoms of Confucianism, which should be rekindled today. From a practical point of view, "the Way begins from moral feelings," and Confucius and Yah Hui's seeking the simple, virtuous life is an ideal model of emotional well-being.展开更多

文摘A quantitative model is built and the historical variation of natural disasters is analyzed in this paper,by using materials as affected area(damaged area),affected population(dead and injured),casualty of livestock,collapsed houses(damaged houses),decrease of crops yield,economic loss(direct and indirect) and price index over the same period of Ningxia natural disasters(include drought,flood,gale and hail,frost,pest disasters and other disasters) during 1978-2007,and applying gray correlation analysis method.The long-term changes trend of natural disasters is analyzed by the application of the least squares method for linear trend,and the oscillation period is analyzed by using the maximum entropy statistical method.It is found that natural disasters have basically 2 to 3 years of variation period either in the whole region or in the individual regions;from the mid 1980s to the late 1990s,Ningxia is in an oscillation period with disasters attacked frequently in decadal and interannual scale under the background of climate;the increase of damage intensity of natural disasters slow down and tends to decrease since 2000.

文摘The knowledge graph(KG) that represents structural relations among entities has become an increasingly important research field for knowledge-driven artificial intelligence. In this survey, a comprehensive review of KG and KG reasoning is provided. It introduces an overview of KGs, including representation, storage, and essential technologies. Specifically, it summarizes several types of knowledge reasoning approaches, including logic rules-based, representation-based, and neural network-based methods. Moreover, this paper analyzes the representation methods of knowledge hypergraphs. To effectively model hyper-relational data and improve the performance of knowledge reasoning, a three-layer knowledge hypergraph model is proposed. Finally, it analyzes the advantages of three-layer knowledge hypergraphs through reasoning and update algorithms which could facilitate future research.
文摘Wetlands are ecosystems with many f unctions.But the general public and government lack a comprehen-sive understanding of the importance of wetland benefits,thus making bl indly exploitation,wetland resour ces decreasing and losing biodiversity.So wetlands in China,as in most countries,have suffered heavily from the pressure o f develop-ment and have confronted with the thr eats of loss.The paper takes Sanjian g Plain marshes,lakes in the middle r eaches of the Changjiang(Yangtze)River,coastal wetlands and mangroves as cases to study wetland loss in China,and puts forward main existing reasons of wetland loss,such as blindly reclamati on and exploitation of wetland resou rces,over-exploitation of bio-resource s in wetland,etc.More recently,there has been a growing recognition of t he benefits of wetlands and a wide range of legal and regulatory initiatives have been undertaken which are designed to impro ve wetland management and conservation.On the basis of the above analysis,the paper brings forward some suggestions on wetland conservation.
文摘This paper presents the construction of an active suspension control of a one-wheel car model using fuzzy reasoning and a disturbance observer. The one-wheel car model to be treated here can be approximately described as a nonlinear two degrees of freedom system subject to excitation from a road profile. The active control is designed as the fuzzy control inferred by using single input rule modules fuzzy reasoning, and the active control force is released by actuating a pneumatic actuator. The excitation from the road profile is estimated by using a disturbance observer, and the estimate is denoted as one of the variables in the precondition part of the fuzzy control rules. A compensator is inserted to counter the performance degradation due to the delay of the pneumatic actuator. The experimental result indicates that the proposed active suspension system improves much the vibration suppression of the car model. 文摘Natural language processing(NLP)is a subfield of artificial intelligence that focuses on enabling computers to understand and process human languages.In the last five years,we have witnessed the rapid development of NLP in tasks such as machine translation,question-answering,and machine reading comprehension based on deep learning and an enormous volume of annotated and unannotated data.In this paper,we will review the latest progress in the neural network-based NLP framework(neural NLP)from three perspectives:modeling,learning,and reasoning.In the modeling section,we will describe several fundamental neural network-based modeling paradigms,such as word embedding,sentence embedding,and sequence-to-sequence modeling,which are widely used in modern NLP engines.In the learning section,we will introduce widely used learning methods for NLP models,including supervised,semi-supervised,and unsupervised learning;multitask learning;transfer learning;and active learning.We view reasoning as a new and exciting direction for neural NLP,but it has yet to be well addressed.In the reasoning section,we will review reasoning mechanisms,including the knowledge,existing non-neural inference methods,and new neural inference methods.We emphasize the importance of reasoning in this paper because it is important for building interpretable and knowledgedriven neural NLP models to handle complex tasks.At the end of this paper,we will briefly outline our thoughts on the future directions of neural NLP.
文摘This paper compared the difference between the traditional Petri nets and reasoning Petri nets(RPN),and presented a fuzzy reasoning Petri net(FRPN) model to represent the fuzzy production rules of a rule based system.Based on the FRPN model,a formal reasoning algorithm using the operators in max algebra was proposed to perform fuzzy reasoning automatically.The algorithm is consistent with the matrix equation expression method in the traditional Petri net.Its legitimacy and feasibility were testified through an example.

文摘The problem of fault reasoning has aroused great concern in scientific and engineering fields.However,fault investigation and reasoning of complex system is not a simple reasoning decision-making problem.It has become a typical multi-constraint and multi-objective reticulate optimization decision-making problem under many influencing factors and constraints.So far,little research has been carried out in this field.This paper transforms the fault reasoning problem of complex system into a paths-searching problem starting from known symptoms to fault causes.Three optimization objectives are considered simultaneously: maximum probability of average fault,maximum average importance,and minimum average complexity of test.Under the constraints of both known symptoms and the causal relationship among different components,a multi-objective optimization mathematical model is set up,taking minimizing cost of fault reasoning as the target function.Since the problem is non-deterministic polynomial-hard(NP-hard),a modified multi-objective ant colony algorithm is proposed,in which a reachability matrix is set up to constrain the feasible search nodes of the ants and a new pseudo-random-proportional rule and a pheromone adjustment mechinism are constructed to balance conflicts between the optimization objectives.At last,a Pareto optimal set is acquired.Evaluation functions based on validity and tendency of reasoning paths are defined to optimize noninferior set,through which the final fault causes can be identified according to decision-making demands,thus realize fault reasoning of the multi-constraint and multi-objective complex system.Reasoning results demonstrate that the improved multi-objective ant colony optimization(IMACO) can realize reasoning and locating fault positions precisely by solving the multi-objective fault diagnosis model,which provides a new method to solve the problem of multi-constraint and multi-objective fault diagnosis and reasoning of complex system.

文摘Land cover classification is the core of converting satellite imagery to available geographic data.However,spectral signatures do not always provide enough information in classification decisions.Thus,the application of multi-source data becomes necessary.This paper presents an evidential reasoning (ER) approach to incorporate Landsat TM imagery,altitude and slope data.Results show that multi-source data contribute to the classification accuracy achieved by the ER method,whereas play a negative role to that derived by maximum likelihood classifier (MLC).In comparison to the results derived based on TM imagery alone,the overall accuracy rate of the ER method increases by 7.66% and that of the MLC method decreases by 8.35% when all data sources (TM plus altitude and slope) are accessible.The ER method is regarded as a better approach for multi-source image classification.In addition,the method produces not only an accurate classification result,but also the uncertainty which presents the inherent difficulty in classification decisions.The uncertainty associated to the ER classification image is evaluated and proved to be useful for improved classification accuracy.

文摘With the increment of focal elements number in discernment framework,the computation amount in Dezert-Smarandache Theory (DSmT) will exponentially go up. This has been the bottleneck problem to block the wide application and development of DSmT. Aiming at this difficulty,in this paper,a kind of fast approximate reasoning method in hierarchical DSmT is proposed. Presently,this method is only fit for the case that there are only singletons with assignment in hyper-power set. These singletons in hyper-power set are forced to group through bintree or tri-tree technologies. At the same time,the assignments of singletons in those different groups corresponding to each source are added up respectively,in order to realize the mapping from the refined hyper-power set to the coarsened one. And then,two sources with the coarsened hyper-power set are combined together according to classical DSm Combination rule (DSmC) and Proportional Conflict Redistribution rule No. 5 (PCR5). The fused results in coarsened framework will be saved as the connecting weights between father and children nodes. And then,all assignments of singletons in different groups will be normalized respectively. Tree depth is set,in order to decide the iterative times in hierarchical system. Finally,by comparing new method with old one from different views,the superiority of new one over old one is testified well.
文摘Amid the recent global upsurge of studies on the philosophy of emotion, a reinterpretation of traditional Confucian philosophy, especially Mencius's ideas on the siduan (Four Original Sources) of morality, may shed new light on the subject in comparative philosophy. This paper probes the structure of moral feeling and reason described by Mencius's from five perspectives: (1) In view of the relationship between feeling and reason, is it better to use the expression "siduan" or the expression "sixin (Four Heart-minds)"? (2) In view of dispositional feeling, what are the four original sources? (3) In view of moral feeling, what are the structural order of the four sources and the corresponding procedure of reasoning of four heart-minds of Humanity? (4) In view of positive feeling, how does moral feeling grow out of the goodness of human nature? (5) What is the global value of Mencius's ideas on human moral feeling? The author concludes that Mencius's thought on moral feeing has a global value and cross-cultural significance, and that Chinese wisdom is more than regional but universally applicable. The structure of moral feeling and reason that Mencius identified is in accordance with the principles ofzhiliang (grasping the two poles of the beginning and the end) and yongzhong (emloying the middle). The principles ofzhiliang and yongzhong are true universal wisdoms of Confucianism, which should be rekindled today. From a practical point of view, "the Way begins from moral feelings," and Confucius and Yah Hui's seeking the simple, virtuous life is an ideal model of emotional well-being.
文摘Syllogistic fuzzy reasoning is introduced into fuzzy system, and the new Cascaded Fuzzy System(CFS) is presented. The thoroughly theoretical analysis and experimental results show that syllogistic fuzzy reasoning is more robust than all other implication inferences for noise data and that CFS has better robustness than conventional fuzzy systems, which provide the solid foundation for CFS's potential application in fuzzy control and modeling and so on.

文摘Property path is the latest navigational extension of the standard query language SPARQL 1.1 for the Semantic Web.However,in the existing SPARQL query systems which support property path,the query efficiency is very low and does not support reasoning.This paper proposes a new existential semantics which has polynomial-time evaluation complexity and an equivalent relationship with the current semantics,and transforms the property path expressions to the extended nested regular expressions based on the existential semantics and proves the semantic equivalence after the transformation considering the RDFS semantics.The property path query engine is achieved by implementing the nested regular expressions algorithm and the transformation rules from the property path expressions to the nested regular expressions,which maintains the syntax simplicity of property path and the goal-oriented polynomial-time reasoning to avoid computing the RDF graph closure.The experiment results not only show the characteristics of query engine based on the existential semantics in efficiency and reasoning,but also further validate the equivalence between the results based on current semantics and those based on the existential semantics for property path after the removal of duplicate values.
