A good temperature profile is reconstructed based on several subsurface in situ temperature observations and the thermocline was estimated using the model. The results show that: 1) For the study area, the former four principal components can explain 95% of the overall variance, and the vertical distribution of temperature is most stable using the in situ temperature observations near the surface. 2) The model verifications based on the observed CTD data from the East China Sea (ECS), South China Sea (SCS) and the areas around Taiwan Island show that the reconstructed profiles have high correlation with the observed ones with the confidence level 〉95%, especially to describe the characteristics of the thermocline well. The average errors between the reconstructed and observed profiles in these three areas are 0.69℃, 0.52℃ and 1.18℃ respectively. It also shows the model RMS error is less than or close to the climatological error. The statistical model can be used to well estimate the temperature profile vertical structure. 3) Comparing the thermocline characteristics between the reconstructed and observed profiles, the results in the ECS show that the average absolute errors are 1.5m, 1.4 m and 0.17~C/m, and the average relative errors are 24.7%, 8.9% and 22.6% for the upper, lower thermocline boundaries and the gradient, respectively. Although the relative errors are obvious, the absolute error is small. In the SCS, the average absolute errors are 4.1 m, 27.7 m and 0.007℃/m, and the average relative errors are 16.1%, 16.8% and 9.5% for the upper, lower thermocline boundaries and the gradient, respectively. The average relative errors are all 〈20%. Although the average absolute error of the lower thermocline boundary is considerable, but contrast to the spatial scale of average depth of the lower thermocline boundary (165 m), the average relative error is small (16.8%). Therefore the model can be used to well estimate the thermocline.展开更多

Quasi-two-dimensional (2D) Fermi surface is observed, with sizable inter-ladder hopping. Moreover, instead of observing an energy gap at the Fermi surface in the antiferromagnetic state, we observe the shifts of various bands. Combining these observations with density-functional-theory calculations, we propose that the large scale reconstruction of the electronic structure, caused by the interactions between the coexisting itinerant electrons and local moments, is most likely the driving force of the magnetic transition. Thus TaFe1.23Te3 serves as a simpler platform that contains similar ingredients to the parent compounds of iron-based superconductors.展开更多

Au supported catalysts have showed encouraging performances for this well-received conversion, whose catalytic behavior was greatly affected by the adopted support derived from the existence of metal-support interactions. Herein, a series of Mg-Beta zeolites were hydrothermally synthesized via developed structural reconstruction, which were employed as basic supports for Au catalysts to construct bifunctional catalysts. The relationship between structure (Au particle size, basicity within zeolites and Auδ+ contents) and FDCA yield was concretely established. The conclusion was made that the utilization of Mg-Beta zeolites with strong basicity as the support could not only improve the FDCA yield but also decrease the amount of additional base. Furthermore, the possible reaction mechanism was also proposed via tracking time-dependent variations of corresponding organics and controlled experiment. This work provides some guidance for rationally designing multifunctional catalysts in the view of integrating metal catalysts with metallosilicate zeolites, which was beneficial to the catalytic upgrading of organic compounds with multiple functional groups.展开更多

Firstly, acoustic radiation modes of the vibrating surface are calculated and the rela- tionship between normal velocity and acoustic radiation modes is built. Then actual measured normal velocity values are expressed by corresponding acoustic radiation modes and the expan- sion coefficients are calculated. Subsequently, all normal velocity values can be reconstructed by the obtained expansion coefficients. Experimental validations have been performed by a double-layer steel cylindrical shell with enclosed ends in an anechoic water tank. Two cases with different wavenumber components distribution were designed by a vibration shaker and a rotor device respectively. Two experimental results both show that actual vibration distribution cannot be revealed exactly by the sparse measurement points, which corresponds to severe loss of vibration related wavenumber components. On the other hand, normal velocity and corresponding wavenumber components can be restored accurately in both two wavenumber components distribution cases according to the proposed method, which demonstrates obvious effectiveness of the proposed method.展开更多

This work provides some guidance for rationally designing multifunctional catalysts in the view of integrating metal catalysts with metallosilicate zeolites, which was beneficial to the catalytic upgrading of organic compounds with multiple functional groups.

文摘To achieve normal velocity reconstruction of a vibrating surface with sparse mea- surement points, a reconstruction method is proposed by exploiting of acoustic radiation modes as expansion functions, which are capable of describing the geometric shape of a vibrating surface. On the other hand, normal velocity and corresponding wavenumber components can be restored accurately in both two wavenumber components distribution cases according to the proposed method, which demonstrates obvious effectiveness of the proposed method.

文摘Tunnel horizontal convergence monitoring is essential to ensure the operation safety. However, only a few representative tunnel sec-tions are chosen for monitoring due to the cost limitation. It is difficult to capture the horizontal convergence of each tunnel ring with limited measurements.Confronted with this difficulty, the paper proposes a horizontal convergence reconstruction method based on the measurements of deployed sensors. The tunnel horizontal convergence along the longitudinal direction is seen as a one-dimensional sta-tionary and ergodic random field. The reconstruction problem is then transformed into the generation of conditional random fields.Monte Carlo simulation is adopted to generate possible realizations and the mean of realizations is considered as the maximum likeli-hood reconstruction.Error analysis proves the effectiveness of the proposed reconstruction method. The proposed method is proved to be applicable in reconstructing the time-variant horizontal convergence and is verified by the monitoring results of the shield tunnel of Shanghai Metro Line 2.The effect of sensor numbers is parametrically studied, and an optimal sensor placement scheme is decided.Additional sensors placed at the deformation drastically changed location can significantly improve the performance of the proposed method.

文摘Carboxylic acid-based metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)are normally passed for the“pre-catalysts”for oxygen evolution reaction(OER)due to the hydroxides constructed in-situ during its alkaline hydrolysis process(AHP)in lye.Whereas,it remains a mystery that they show advantageous activity over prototypical hydroxides when they are directly acted as OER catalysts.Herein,we propose for the first time that the steric hindrance effect of Nafion can induce enhanced catalytic activity of such MOFs.Different from conventional catalysts without AHP,the Nafion with 3D structure weakens the AHP of Co-MOF nanoribbons, thus forming small size and low crystallinity species(cobalt hydroxide)with more active sites. And the existence of Nafion also optimizes its electronic structure, which is confirmed by transmission electron microscopy(TEM),in-situ UV absorption spectra,in-situ Raman spectroscopy and so on.Compared with Co-MOF-K obtained by directly immersing the Co-MOF nanoribbons in 1.0 M KOH,the Co-MOF-NK obtained by AHP of Co-MOF mixed with Nafion shows better catalytic activity.Based on the above inspiration,we realized the low overpotential of 268 mV at 10 mA·cm^(−2) by preparing CoFe-MOF-NK.This work provides a new understanding of the structural reconstruction of MOFs in the field of electrocatalysis.

文摘The anodic oxygen evolution reaction(OER)can be combined with various cathodic reactions to enable the electrochemical synthesis of diverse chemicals and fuels, particularly in water electrolysis for hydrogen production. It is however exhibiting a high overpotential due to the sluggish four-electron transfer process, which is considered the decisive reaction in energy conversion systems. In recent years,metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)have emerged as the ideal catalysts for accelerating OER.This is primarily because of their orderly porous architecture, structural tailorability, and compositional diversity. This review systematically summarizes the recent research progress in pristine MOF electrocatalysts for OER,which covers the construction strategies and electrocatalytic performance of more than eight types of MOFs.Additionally, the partial/complete structural reconstructions and their effects on MOF-based OER electrocatalysts are highlighted. In particular, the development process of“discovery, explanation, and utilization”for the structural reconstructions of MOF electrocatalysts is outlined.Furthermore, the catalytic mechanisms are elaborated in detail, aiming to provide insight into the rational design and performance optimization of MOF-based OER electrocatalysts. The challenges and future perspectives of MOF-based OER electrocatalysts for industrial applications are also discussed.
