A Review on China’s Transportation Development Theory from the Perspective of Regional Economics

Transportation is the lifeline of human civilization and an important component of the infrastructure for economic growth.As transportation is closely related to regional economic development,the summarization of China's transportation development theory from the perspective of regional economics will be conducive to clarifying the relationships between transportation and regional economic development and providing basic theoretical support for regional economic research and policy application.From the perspective of regional economics,China’s transportation development theory falls into two categories:transportation resource allocations,and the interactions between transportation and economic development.In recent years,there has been a trend toward the integration of transportation development research with regional economic growth,and a deeper understanding of the relationships between them has been achieved.

Regional Economic Development Trend Prediction Method Based on Digital Twins and Time Series Network

At present,the interpretation of regional economic development(RED)has changed from a simple evaluation of economic growth to a focus on economic growth and the optimization of economic structure,the improvement of economic relations,and the change of institutional innovation.This article uses the RED trend as the research object and constructs the RED index to conduct the theoretical analysis.Then this paper uses the attention mechanism based on digital twins and the time series network model to verify the actual data.Finally,the regional economy is predicted according to the theoretical model.The specific research work mainly includes the following aspects:1)This paper introduced the development status of research on time series networks and economic forecasting at home and abroad.2)This paper introduces the basic principles and structures of long and short-term memory(LSTM)and convolutional neural network(CNN),constructs an improved CNN-LSTM model combined with the attention mechanism,and then constructs a regional economic prediction index system.3)The best parameters of the model are selected through experiments,and the trained model is used for simulation experiment prediction.The results show that the CNN-LSTM model based on the attentionmechanism proposed in this paper has high accuracy in predicting regional economies.

Progress of regional economic geography in China: a comparative study

A PRELIMINARY APPROACH TO THE REGIONALIZATION OF THE MARINE COMPREHENSIVE ECONOMIC REGION IN LIAONING PROVINCE

China is a country with a vast marine territory whose area covers one third of the total land territory area. With the exploitation of marine resources and the development of marine economy, marine economic regions have been formed gradually. We shouldn’t ignore them when we divide economic regions throughout the whole nation,especially in our country. In this paper, we’ll expand division principles, practice and methods of .marine comprehensive economic region. Liaoning Province,facing the Yellow Sea and the Bohai sea, is not only a part of Round-the-Bohai Sea Economic Region, but a part of national marine econemic region. Through evaluating marine resources of Liaoning, and analyzing development of marine economy, composition of marine industries and distributional characteristic of marine economy, Liaoning marine region is divided into Bohai Sea marine economic region and Yellow Sea marine economic region based on differences of marine economy. Thereby we go further into the formation of regional marine economic region and distributional mechanism of regional marine economy.

The Enlightenment of Regional Spatial Structure Theory to Rural Revitalization Strategy

The rural revitalization strategy is a macro-strategic guide to solve the problem of"weak links"in the coordinated development of rural and urban regions.Geography responded positively to the national strategy and made a preliminary discussion on the scientific theoretical basis and research direction of rural revitalization strategy.The paper integrated application of the spatial structure theory of geography and the time-space research scientific thinking,respectively discussed the core edge theory,growth pole and point axis theory,theory of stage of industrialization and urbanization,rural settlement type,infrastructure construction patterns,such as the theoretical guidance and application of strategy of rejuvenating rural to rural revitalization of the full implementation of the strategy to provide theoretical support and practical guidance.

The Spatial Spillover Effect of Input and Output of Scientific Progress on Regional Economic Growth: The Case of Guangdong Province

This paper makes an empirical analysis of the spatial spillover effect of regional economic growth by using Moran’s I and Spatial Durbin Model to study the input and output of technological progress, with the panel data of 21 prefecture-level cities in Guangdong Province from 2008 to 2017. The empirical results show that the spatial autocorrelation exists in the economic development of Guangdong Province, and both the input and output of scientific research innovation have a significant positive effect on the regional economic growth. Under the spatial contiguity weights matrix, the output of scientific research and innovation has a more obvious spillover effect on the economic growth of neighboring cities than the input of scientific research and innovation.

Education Investment Fixed Asset Investment and Regional Economic Development Differences--Empirical analysis based on Chinese

In this article,it discusses the di£ferences in economic development between urban and rural areas and regions in our country from the perspective of education investment and fixed asset investment.Based on the provincial data of 31 provinces from 1999 to 2017 released by National Bureau of Statistics,it expends the Cobb-Douglas model and Lucas model,and analyses the data with multiple linear regression models.From the study,it finds that compared with investment in fixed assets,investment in education has a larger role in promoting economic development,which is more obvious in the underdeveloped central and western regions and rural areas.However,at the same time it needs to note that the positive effects of education investment will be restricted by the economic structure and policy environment,and education expenditure policies should also be implemented in accordance with time and local conditions.

Coordinated development of Yunnan's frontier culture and economy under the regional economic integration pattern

This paper constructs the index system by means of quantitative analysis. We choose the coordination degree of Yunnan province from 2012 to 2015. The regional cultural and economic development in Yunnan's frontier are analyzed so that we can provide the reference for the sustainable development of Yunnan's frontier and realize the coordinated development of culture in Yunnan's frontier and economic system in order. The results show that the culture and economy in Yunnan's frontier are coupled with formation of the coordinated development of culture and economy; economic development is the main reason to promote the coordinated development of culture and economy in Yunnan's frontier, and it contributes to the main force of improving the coordinated development of evolution types; the coordinated development degree of the overall level is low and still in the China's backward level.

Special library services for regional economic development(SRED)—Practice of the NSLC

Purpose: By case studies of the service for regional economic development(SRED) carried out by the National Science Library of the Chinese Academy of Sciences(NSLC), this article tries to describe basic directions of special libraries in the SRED.Design/methodology/approach: By comparing the aims and service forms of the SRED provided by domestic and foreign libraries and information service institutions, the authors examined the basic services provided by special libraries. Through a summary of the SRED exploration carried out by the NSLC, the authors introduce its main content, service methods, products, and service mechanisms. By analyzing the information needs of SRED users and summarizing users’ practical experiences of services, the authors propose a design for the SRED framework of the NSLC. In addition, the authors mention key points to be noticed during the process of service implementation, illustrating them with a number of selected SRED cases. The authors suggest that the SRED network and joint service mechanism are effective ways to implement SRED services. Findings: Based on information resource and expert networks, special libraries like the NSLC can carry out SRED to meet user requirements. The NSLC has not only constructed its own SRED framework, but has also expanded the patron service to the industrial intelligence service area. By setting up a nationwide S&T;(science and technology) novelty search network and a literature and information service alliance, the NSLC provides a variety of information training services. This enriches the content of the knowledge service of special libraries and enlarges the library service of the NSLC.Research limitations: The SRED of Chinese libraries is still in the exploratory stage. Questions as how to scientifically design service content and service modes, and how to establish a sustainable regional service system based on user needs are still being researchedand discussed. Furthermore, we need to pay more attention to the construction of the service network and respond more quickly to feedback while creating the SRED.Practical implications: The SRED experience of the NSLC has shown that special libraries can implement a knowledge service for economic development, and the SRED is an important direction of knowledge services for special libraries.Originality/value: Through describing a practical SRED, this paper provides a valuable reference for libraries in the transformation process from library service to knowledge service. The experimental SRED of the NSLC has verified the rationality of our service framework in support of regional economic development.

我国省域医疗卫生服务与经济的耦合协调分析

目的探索我国省域医疗卫生服务与经济协调发展状况,为促进医疗卫生服务与经济健康协调发展提供参考。方法以2012—2020年为研究区间,运用综合评价指数分析医疗卫生服务与经济综合发展水平,采用耦合协调度测算我国医疗卫生服务与经济的协调水平。结果(1)2012—2020年我国医疗卫生服务与经济综合评价指数年均增长率分别为21.03%和31.69%。其中,2019—2020年医疗卫生服务年均增长率高达36.72%,而经济年均增长率为-1.32%。从区域来看:东、中、西部医疗卫生服务综合评价指数年均增长率分别为-3.09%、-2.51%、-1.51%。经济综合评价指数年均增长率分别为-0.75%、-1.00%、-0.64%。(2)我国两子系统间耦合协调度由2012年的0.389增至2020年的0.920,年均增长率为11.36%,协调类型由2012年的轻度失调发展为2020年的优质协调。东、中、西部耦合协调度均数分别为0.64、0.52、0.47,协调类型分别为初级协调、勉强协调、濒临失调。东、中、西部耦合协调度均数年均增长率分别为-0.95%、-1.00%、-0.61%。(3)东部多数省(直辖市)除2016年为经济发展滞后型,其余年份均为医疗卫生服务滞后型;而中、西部大多数省(自治区、直辖市)除2014年为医疗卫生服务滞后型,其余年份皆为经济发展滞后型。结论从整体上看,我国医疗卫生服务与经济综合发展及其耦合协调水平均呈上升趋势。从区域来看:东、中、西部医疗卫生服务与经济综合发展水平均呈下降趋势;耦合协调水平呈东、中、西部依次递减空间格局。各区域应结合自身实际,制定医疗卫生与经济发展战略措施,提高两系统协调发展水平,以实现两系统优质协调发展。

An empirical study on the green effects of new energy vehicle promotion in the context of global carbon neutrality

In the context of global carbon neutrality,new energy vehicle promotion(NEVP)has become an important means of reducing carbon emissions.This paper constructs a theoretical model and uses panel data on NEVP in 21 countries from 2012 to 2018 to empirically examine the green effect of NEVP.The results indicate the following:(1)NEVP significantly reduces greenhouse gases emissions,and the green effect can be transmitted and diffused through a direct path.(2)Replacing fuel-fired vehicles and accelerating the end-of-life vehicle scrapping process significantly conducted the green effect,and aggravating traffic congestion was not statistically significant.(3)The transmission mechanism of the green effect is regulated by regional economic heterogeneity.In regions with better development of fuel-fired vehicles,the transmission of the green effect is subject to the elimination of fuel-fired vehicles and traffic congestion governance,and the transmission efficiency is low.However,regions with a relatively weak fuel-fired automobile industry foundation show a strong“advantage of backwardness”,and the green effect is more prominent.This means that global NEVP should be further accelerated to achieve the green effect and the goal of global carbon neutrality.

Research on the coordinated utilization of land resource in the intergrated economic region of industry, farming and grazing-a case study of Baotou city in Inner Mongolia

Baotou City is an industrial city developed in the farming-grazing transitional zone in northern China. The development of industry, farming and grazing is very fast. It has become a typical intergrated economic region of industry, farming and grazing. Based on the analysis of utilization of land resources, this paper points out the main conflicts and problems on the utilization of land resources in the city, and puts forward a corresponding proposal.

ORGANIZING MACRO ECONOMIC REGIONS AND ENHANCING INTER-PROVINCIAL COORDINATION AND PLANNING IN CHINA

This paper elaborates upon the purpose of macro economicroponalization and inter-provincial planning and coordination under thesocialist market system. It descnbes the characteristics and orgarnzationalforms of macro economic regions and the principle of macro economic regionalization. The six macro economic regions-Northeast China, NorthChina, Northwest China, Middle-East China, Southwest China and South China-are divided in the paper. At the end, the paper describes somemajor programs, which requires cooperation among various involvedprovinces.

Spatial Heterogeneity Analysis of PM2.5 Concentration in Central Plains Economic Region

The research of the spatial heterogeneity of PM2.5 concentration in an area, is of great significance for understanding its regional spatial distribution structure, exploring the transmission relationship between regions, in order to formulate joint prevention and control measures within the entire area. Based on the daily monitoring data of PM2.5 concentration in the Central Plains Economic Region in 2019, this paper utilizes cluster analysis to divide the regional PM2.5 concentration into 5 classes, builds their spatial semi-variogram model, and then utilizes interpolation analysis method to study the regional overall distribution characteristics and transmission law. The results show that the PM2.5 concentration in the Central Plains Economic Region has a medium or higher spatial autocorrelation. The critical value of the overall PM2.5 concentration in the area is 150 μg/m3, as the overall PM2.5 concentration less than the value, the PM2.5 in a region mainly comes from local emissions, as the overall PM2.5 concentration higher than the value, the influence of spatial structure on the distribution of PM2.5 concentration is gradually obvious. PM2.5 has a certain degree of spatial transmission, which mainly includes two routes as Puyang-Xingtai and Puyang-Zhengzhou, and the transmission intensity of the former is greater than the latter.

Annual Fluxes of Heavy Metal Elements in Atmospheric Dry and Wet Depositions in the Pearl River Delta Economic Region, Guangdong Province

There are 158 sampling points to be set up in the Pearl River delta economic region. The collecting period is mostly one year, namely, from July 2007 to July 2008. The eight heavy metal elements of Cr, Ni, Cu, Pb, Zn, As, Hg, and Cd in 474 dry and wet deposition samples were tested in terms of the standard procedures. Their average annual fluxes have no obvious difference between dry deposition and wet deposition. So these elements might be at an equilibrium or quasi-equilibrium state between dry deposition and wet deposition.

Campus Economic Analysis Based on K-Means Clustering and Hotspot Mining

With the advent of the era of big data and the development and construction of smart campuses,the campus is gradually moving towards digitalization,networking and informationization.The campus card is an important part of the construction of a smart campus,and the massive data it generates can indirectly reflect the living conditions of students at school.In the face of the campus card,how to quickly and accurately obtain the information required by users from the massive data sets has become an urgent problem that needs to be solved.This paper proposes a data mining algorithm based on K-Means clustering and time series.It analyzes the consumption data of a college student’s card to deeply mine and analyze the daily life consumer behavior habits of students,and to make an accurate judgment on the specific life consumer behavior.The algorithm proposed in this paper provides a practical reference for the construction of smart campuses in universities,and has important theoretical and application values.

Analyzing Differences between Online Learner Groups during the COVID-19 Pandemic through K-Prototype Clustering

Online learning is a very important means of study, and has been adopted in many countries worldwide. However, only recently are researchers able to collect and analyze massive online learning datasets due to the COVID-19 epidemic. In this article, we analyze the difference between online learner groups by using an unsupervised machine learning technique, i.e., k-prototypes clustering. Specifically, we use questionnaires designed by domain experts to collect various online learning data, and investigate students’ online learning behavior and learning outcomes through analyzing the collected questionnaire data. Our analysis results suggest that students with better learning media generally have better online learning behavior and learning result than those with poor online learning media. In addition, both in economically developed or undeveloped regions, the number of students with better learning media is less than the number of students with poor learning media. Finally, the results presented here show that whether in an economically developed or an economically undeveloped region, the number of students who are enriched with learning media available is an important factor that affects online learning behavior and learning outcomes.
