Clinical value of precise rehabilitation nursing in management of cerebral infarction

BACKGROUND Cerebral infarction,previously referred to as cerebral infarction or ischemic stroke,refers to the localized brain tissue experiencing ischemic necrosis or softening due to disorders in brain blood supply,ischemia,and hypoxia.The precision rehabilitation nursing model for chronic disease management is a continuous,fixed,orderly,and efficient nursing model aimed at standardizing the clinical nursing process,reducing the wastage of medical resources,and improving the quality of medical services.AIM To analyze the value of a precise rehabilitation nursing model for chronic disease management in patients with cerebral infarction.METHODS Patients(n=124)admitted to our hospital with cerebral infarction between November 2019 and November 2021 were enrolled as the study subjects.The random number table method was used to divide them into a conventional nursing intervention group(n=61)and a model nursing intervention group(n=63).Changes in the nursing index for the two groups were compared after conventional nursing intervention and precise rehabilitation intervention nursing for chronic disease management.RESULTS Compared with the conventional intervention group,the model intervention group had a shorter time to clinical symptom relief(P<0.05),lower Hamilton Anxiety Scale and Hamilton Depression Scale scores,a lower incidence of total complications(P<0.05),a higher disease knowledge mastery rate,higher safety and quality,and a higher overall nursing satisfaction rate(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The precision rehabilitation nursing model for chronic disease management improves the clinical symptoms of patients with cerebral infarction,reducing the incidence of total complications and improving the clinical outcome of patients,and is worthy of application in clinical practice.

Application Value of Early Comprehensive Rehabilitation Nursing in Patients with Occupational Asthma

Background Occupational asthma is a type of asthma caused by exposure to asthma-causing substances in an occupational setting. Its incidence is closely related to the degree of industrial development, but also related to the nature of asthma. In some specific industries, such as workers who are exposed to asthmatic isocyanates for a long time, the incidence of occupational asthma can reach 5%-10%, and the incidence of occupational asthma can even reach 50% or higher among workers engaged in the detergent industry who are in contact with proteolytic enzymes for a long time. Objective To analyze the clinical value of early comprehensive rehabilitation nursing for patients with occupational asthma, methods a total of 48 patients with occupational asthma who were admitted from January 2020 to December 2022 were divided into control group and study group by random number table method The disappearance time of chest tightness and shortness of breath, the disappearance time of wheezing and cough, and the FEV1, forced vital capacity (FVC) and peak expiratory flow (PEF) indexes before and after treatment were compared between the two groups after nursing, the disappearance time of clinical symptoms in the study group was shorter than that in the control group, and the levels of FEV1, FVC and PEF were higher than those in the control group, and the P < 0.05 was significantly improved.

Application of a hospital–community–family trinity rehabilitation nursing model combined with motor imagery therapy in patients with cerebral infarction

BACKGROUND Rehabilitation nursing is considered an indispensable part of the cerebral infarction treatment system.The hospital–community–family trinity rehabilitation nursing model can provide continuous nursing services across hospitals,communities,and families for patients.AIM To explore the application of a hospital–community–family rehabilitation nursing model combined with motor imagery therapy in patients with cerebral infarction.METHODS From January 2021 to December 2021,88 patients with cerebral infarction were divided into a study(n=44)and a control(n=44)group using a simple random number table.The control group received routine nursing and motor imagery therapy.The study group was given hospital–community–family trinity rehabilitation nursing based on the control group.Motor function(FMA),balance ability(BBS),activities of daily living(BI),quality of life(SS-QOL),activation status of the contralateral primary sensorimotor cortical area to the affected side,and nursing satisfaction were evaluated before and after intervention in both groups.RESULTS Before intervention,FMA and BBS were similar(P>0.05).After 6 months’intervention,FMA and BBS were significantly higher in the study than in the control group(both P<0.05).Before intervention,BI and SS-QOL scores were not different between the study and control group(P>0.05).However,after 6months’intervention,BI and SS-QOL were higher in the study than in the control group(P<0.05).Before intervention,activation frequency and volume were similar between the study and the control group(P>0.05).After 6 months’intervention,the activation frequency and volume were higher in the study than in the control group(P<0.05).The reliability,empathy,reactivity,assurance,and tangibles scores for quality of nursing service were higher in the study than in the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Combining a hospital–community–family trinity rehabilitation nursing model and motor imagery therapy enhances the motor function and balance ability of patients with cerebral infarction,improving their quality of life.

Application Analysis of Cardiac Rehabilitation Nursing in Patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction

Objective: Application analysis of cardiac rehabilitation in patients with acute myocardial infarction. Methods: A total of 102 patients with acute myocardial infarction admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to January 2022 were retrospectively selected as the observation objects. According to the nursing measures taken, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 51 cases in each group. A total of 51 patients in the control group received routine nursing, while 51 patients in the observation group were guided to actively participate in the cardiac rehabilitation nursing plan. The hospitalization conditions and effects of the two groups were compared. Results: The cardiac function index, bed time, hospitalization time, anxiety score and depression score of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P Conclusion: The application of cardiac rehabilitation nursing in patients with acute myocardial infarction has a good effect. The patients’ cardiac function recovers faster, they feel more comfortable, and they also reduce the time of hospitalization and bed rest, which is conducive to improving the psychological and anxiety state of patients and improving the quality of life.

Application of rehabilitation nursing technology in the pulmonary rehabilitation of the patients after lung cancer operation

The rehabilitation nursing of lung function at home for lung cancer patients after operation can not only improve the level of lung function and the quality of life but also improve the compliance of patients with treatment and improve their psychological status.Studies have shown that respiratory training,exercise training and rehabilitation nursing techniques of Chinese medicine,such as Six-Word Qigong,Tai Chi and Baduanjin have better effects on lung function recovery in patients after lung cancer surgery.In this paper,we made review and discussion on the application of the above methods in patients with lung cancer at home after operation.

Rehabilitation nursing for an earthquake survivor with severe polytrauma:A case report and literature review

The aim of this article is to summarize the experience of rehabilitation nursing of one case of severe polytrauma caused by earthquake.The key points of the rehabilitation nursing include body posture nursing,orthopedic rehabilitation nursing,pulmonary function rehabilitation nursing,bladder rehabilitation nursing,nutritional support,and psychological rehabilitation nursing.Through the comprehensive rehabilitation nursing interventions,satisfactory outcomes were obtained,and the patient was successfully recovered and discharged after 2 months.

Early Rehabilitation Nursing for Stroke Patients with Hemiplegia in Neurology Department

Objective:To study the clinical nursing effect of early rehabilitation nursing on stroke patients with hemiplegia in neurology department.Methods:Stroke patients with hemiplegia treated in our hospital from March 2018 to March 2020 were selected for the present study.Twenty patients in each group were divided into two groups by random number table method,either in experimental group or control group.Routine nursing was used in the control group,while early rehabilitation nursing was carried out in the experimental group.The clinical nursing effect of the two groups of patients was compared.Results:After nursing,the neurological function of the patients was significantly improved(P<0.05),the improvement of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(P<0.01),the daily activities of the patients in the experimental group were significantly improved,and the score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After nursing,anxiety and depression scores in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the recovery of limb function in the experimental group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The implementation of early rehabilitation nursing measures plays an important role in the recovery of stroke patients with hemiplegia by promoting the recovery of neurological function,improving the psychological state of patients,and promoting the recovery of limbs.

The Application of 3+1 Holistic Rehabilitation Nursing in Patients with Alzheimer’s Disease

.Thereafter,the full text of all 28 studies were reviewed.Finally,24 studies were included after excluding duplicates,non-3+1 holistic rehabilitation nursing studies,non-experimental studies,studies with inconsistent sample size,wrong data analysis,and unclear outcomes,etc.Results:Upon reviewing the 24 literatures,all the included studies were clinical studies that made comparisons between 3+1 holistic rehabilitation nursing groups and traditional nursing groups.The age of the participants were between 60 and 80 years,and the total number of participates were 2,790.However,there were some studies that did not report the average age(5/24),average duration(14/24),and the ratio of male to female patients(3/24).Only a few studies reported the intervention time(7/24)and classified the disease by severity(4/24).The outcomes included activities of daily living(ADL),Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE),and Chinese Rehabilitation Research Center Aphasia Examination(CRRCAE).A total of 19 studies showed that 3+1 holistic rehabilitation nursing is effective in improving patients’self-care ability;14 studies showed that this rehabilitation nursing has a significant curative effect for the cognitive function of patients;7 studies showed that this nursing model can promote the recovery of language function in AD patients;5 studies showed the model can significantly reduce the incidence of adverse events and complications upon receiving treatment;2 studies showed that the nursing model is helpful for depression and emotional indifference.Conclusion:Compared with the traditional nursing mode,3+1 holistic rehabilitation nursing is more effective in improving self-care ability,cognitive function,language function,emotional state,and so on.In addition,this nursing model can significantly reduce the incidence of adverse events,falls,pressure sores,and other complications during hospitalization.However,the inclusion criteria and duration of intervention for the included studies need to be further standardized,and more experimental studies on the efficacy of 3+1 holistic rehabilitation nursing on severe AD patients as well as the complications caused by AD are required.The cost of 3+1 holistic rehabilitation nursing,which is specialized and personalized,is high.Therefore,the value of this nursing model still requires much research.

Nursing Effect of Rapid Rehabilitation Surgery Concept in Laparoscopic Surgery for Extrahepatic Bile Duct Stones

Objective: To explore the application value of rapid rehabilitation concept in patients with extrahepatic bile duct stones under laparoscopy during perioperative period. Methods: 90 patients with extrahepatic bile duct stones treated in our hospital from January 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the research object and randomly divided into the study group and the control group. The control group was given routine care, and the observation group was given rapid surgical rehabilitation care. The postoperative anal exhaust time, first meal time, early activity time, pain time, abdominal drainage tube removal time, hospitalization time and complication rate were compared between the two groups. The independent sample T test was used for the measurement data, and the x2 test was used for the counting data, and the difference was statistically significant (P Results: The postoperative anal exhaust time, first meal time, early activity time, pain time, abdominal drainage tube removal time and hospitalization time in the study group were shorter than those in the control group (all P Conclusion: The concept of rapid rehabilitation can significantly improve the perioperative nursing effect of patients with extrahepatic bile duct stones and accelerate their rehabilitation, which is worth improving and popularizing.

Analysis of the Effect of Respiratory Rehabilitation Nursing on the Quality of Life of Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Objective:To understand the impact of respiratory rehabilitation nursing on the quality of life of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),and to provide a theoretical basis for better clinical implementation of this nursing measure.Methods:68 COPD patients admitted from September 2022 to July 2023 were selected to determine the type of COPD(mild,moderate,severe)based on clinical manifestations and laboratory test results,and were divided into a study group(42 cases)and a control group(26 cases),with the control group adopting the conventional treatment plan,and the patients in the study group receiving individualized respiratory rehabilitation nursing care.The patients’respiratory function and quality of life after treatment are observed.Results:The total score of the study group(65.71±12.02)was significantly higher than that of the control group(52.73±11.54),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);in terms of pulmonary function,the results of pulmonary function tests of the two groups of patients were in the normal range after treatment,and the study group was slightly better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the score of the study group in terms of exercise endurance was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Respiratory rehabilitation nursing can effectively improve the quality of life of COPD patients,and is worthy of popularization and application.

Optimization of nursing interventions for postoperative mental status recovery in patients with cerebral hemorrhage

BACKGROUND Hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage(HCH),the most common chronic diseases,has become a topic of global public health discussions.AIM To investigate the role of rehabilitative nursing interventions in optimizing the postoperative mental status recovery phase and to provide clinical value for future rehabilitation of patients with HCH.METHODS This randomized controlled study included 120 patients with cerebral HCH who were contained to our neurosurgery department between May 2021–May 2023 as the participants.The participants have randomly sampled and grouped into the observation and control groups.The observation group received the rehabilitation nursing model,whereas the control group have given conventional nursing.The conscious state of the patients was assessed at 7,14,21,and 30 d postoperatively.After one month of care,sleep quality,anxiety,and depression were compared between the two groups.Patient and family satisfaction were assessed using a nursing care model.RESULTS The results showed that the state of consciousness scores of the patients in both groups significantly increased(P<0.05)after surgical treatment.From the 14th day onwards,differences in the state of consciousness scores between the two groups of patients began to appear(P<0.05).After one month of care,the sleep quality,anxiety state,and depression state of patients were significantly better in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).Satisfaction with nursing care was higher in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The rehabilitation nursing model has a more complete system compared to conventional nursing,which can effectively improve the postoperative quality of life of patients with cerebral hemorrhage and improve the efficiency of mental state recovery;however,further analysis and research are needed to provide more scientific evidence.

Analysis of the Effect of Extended Rehabilitation Care at Home on the Psychological Condition and Adherence to Medical Compliance Behavior of Patients with Coronary Heart Disease Combined with Heart Failure

Objective:To analyze the effects of providing extended rehabilitation nursing services at home to patients with coronary heart disease(CHD)combined with heart failure(CHF)on psychological improvement and adherence to medical compliance behavior.Methods:79 patients with CHD with CHF admitted to Sijia Town Central Health Hospital,Haimen District,Nantong City,Jiangsu Province,between June 2021 and June 2023 were selected and grouped according to the randomized numerical table method.The control group(39 cases)was provided with conventional nursing care and extended rehabilitation nursing care at home was provided to the observation group(40 cases).The psychological status,adherence to medical behaviors,cardiac function,and complications between both groups were compared.Results:The scores of anxieties and depression self-assessment scales(SAS,SDS)of patients in the observation group were lower than those of the control group(t=2.954,3.212;P<0.05);the compliance of patients in the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The levels of left ventricular ejection fraction,end-systolic and end-diastolic internal diameters(LVEF,LVESD,LVEDD)of patients in the observation group at 58.02±5.34%,44.49±5.16 mm,and 49.16±5.76 mm respectively were better than those of the control group after nursing care(t=3.205,3.288,2.633;P<0.05);the complication rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Extended rehabilitation nursing at home exhibited a psychological regulation effect on CHD with CHF patients,improved their medical compliance,improved cardiac function,reduced the incidence of complications,and had significant application value.

Impact of the Rapid Recovery Concept on Complications and Patient Quality of Life in the Perioperative Nursing of Robot-Assisted Radical Oesophageal Cancer

Aim: This study evaluates the impact of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) nursing on postoperative complications and quality of life in patients undergoing robot-assisted minimally invasive esophagectomy (RAMIE). Methods: A total of 150 patients who underwent RAMIE from January 2020 to January 2022 at our hospital were randomly assigned to either the observation group or the control group, with 75 patients in each. The control group received standard perioperative management and nursing care, while the observation group was treated with ERAS nursing strategies. Interventions continued until discharge, and outcomes such as postoperative complications, quality of life, and nutritional status were compared between the groups. Results: The observation group exhibited a significantly lower incidence of postoperative adverse reactions compared to the control group (P ionally, all dimension scores of the Short-Form 36 Health Survey (SF-36), including the total score, were higher in the observation group (P < 0.05). Furthermore, the Nutritional Risk Screening (NRS) scores for impaired nutritional status and disease severity, along with the total NRS score, were significantly lower in the observation group compared to the control group (P Conclusion: Implementing ERAS nursing in the perioperative care of patients undergoing RAMIE is associated with reduced postoperative complications and enhanced postoperative quality of life and nutritional status. .

Nursing Effect of Pulmonary Rehabilitation in Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Objective:To study the effect of pulmonary rehabilitation nursing in nursing of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods:30 cases of experimental subjects,diagnosed with COPD,were included in the observation group with pulmonary rehabilitation nursing,while the control group received routine nursing,and the data between the groups were compared.Results:After nursing,the observation group showed significantly improved lung function,higher nursing satisfaction,6-minute walking test(6WMT),World Health Organization Quality of Life(WHOQOL-BREF)score,and self-care ability score,compared to the control group,with P<0.05,indicating a statistical difference.Conclusion:Pulmonary rehabilitation nursing is applied in the nursing of COPD patients with ideal effect.

Effect of Psychological Nursing Combined with Health Education on the Quality of Life of Patients with Lung Cancer

Objective:To analyze the effect of psychological nursing combined with health education on the quality of life of patients with lung cancer.Methods:80 patients with lung cancer admitted to our hospital’s Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects.Those who received basic nursing care from January to June were classified as the reference group,and those who received psychological nursing and health education from July to December were classified as the combination group,with 40 cases in each group.The combination group was given psychological nursing and health education;the reference group was given primary nursing care.The negative emotions experienced,the nursing satisfaction,the pain levels 1-7 days after operation,and the quality of life of both groups were compared.Results:Before the intervention,there was no statistically significant difference in the negative emotions between the two groups of patients(P>0.05);after the intervention,the combination group experienced significantly less negative emotions compared to the control group(P<0.05).Besides,the nursing satisfaction evaluation indicators such as targeted measures,nursing effects,individualized treatment,and level of professionalism of the combination group were significantly better than those in the reference group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the pain level of both groups of patients 1 day after surgery(P>0.05);however,in 3d and 7d after the surgery,the combination group experienced significantly less pain than the reference group(P<0.05).The social skills,physical pain,health status,physiological function,and other quality of life scores in the combined group were significantly higher than those in the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Psychological nursing and health education can improve the quality of life of patients with lung cancer.

The application of integrated medical and nursing rehabilitation in the management of patients with chronic heart failure and diabetes

Background At present,patients with chronic heart failure complicated with diabetes are often treated with drugs in clinical practice.Most patients cannot adhere to regular and quantitative medication for a long time,and their poor compliance has adverse effects on their rehabilitation.The aim of this study was to explore the application effects of integrated medical and nursing rehabilitation in the management of patients with chronic heart failure and diabetes.Methods A total of 75 patients with chronic heart failure and diabetes,admitted to our center from May 2020 to May 2023,were randomly divided into Group A(n=38)and Group B(n=37)using a random number table.Group A received integrated rehabilitation management,while Group B received conventional rehabilitation management.The left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD),fasting blood glucose(FBG),2-hour postprandial blood glucose(2h PG),glycated hemoglobin(Hb Alc),and self-care ability were compared between the two groups before and after intervention.Results After intervention,the LVEDD and LVESD in both groups were lower than before,while LVEF was higher than before(P<0.05).The LVEDD and LVESD in Group A were lower than in Group B after intervention,while LVEF was higher than in Group B(P<0.05).After intervention,the levels of FBG,2h PG,Hb Alc,and the scores of the European Heart Failure Self-care Behavior Scale(EHFSc B-9)in both groups decreased,with Group A being lower than Group B(P<0.05).Conclusions Integrated medical and nursing rehabilitation can effectively improve the cardiac function and blood glucose levels of patients with chronic heart failure and diabetes,control the patients’condition,and enhance their quality of life and self-care ability.[S Chin J Cardiol 2024;25(1):44-49]

Nursing administration in the geriatric department in the epidemic of COVID‑19

In order to strengthen the prevention and management in the geriatric department during the pandemic of COVID‑19 and to explore how to implement nursing measures to control the spread of COVID‑19 to elderly patients,our geriatric department established a leading group for epidemic prevention to train the medical staffs,the patients and caregivers and implemented a set of measures such as controlling the source of infection,cutting off the transmission route,and rehabilitation nursing of Chinese medicine,thus achieved zero infection of medical staff and elderly patients.

Factors influencing female patients’ recovery after their first myocardial infarction as experienced by cardiac rehabilitation nurses

Background: In the developed part of the world, coronary heart disease is the major cause of death and is one of the leading causes of disease burden. In Sweden, more than 30,000 people per year are affected by myocardial infarction and out of these approximately 40% are women. Nearly 70% of the women survive and after a myocardial infarction a recovery process follows. Today’s health care focuses more on treatment, symptoms and risk factors than on the individuals’ perceptions of the recovery process. Aim: To explore cardiac rehabilitation nurses’ experiences of factors influencing female patients’ recovery after their first myocardial infarction. Methods: Twenty cardiac rehabilitation nurses were interviewed. The study was conducted using qualitative content analysis. Results: The cardiac rehabilitation nurses experienced that women’s recovery after a first myocardial infarction was influenced whether they had a supportive context, their ability to cope with the stresses of life, if they wanted to be involved in their own personal care and how they related to themselves. Conclusions: Women’s recovery after a myocardial infarction was influenced by factors related to surroundings as well as own individual factors. The underlying meaning of women’s recovery can be described as the transition process of a recovery to health. Our findings suggest that a focus on person-centered nursing would be beneficial in order to promote the every woman’s personal and unique recovery after a myocardial infarction. Finally, the cardiac rehabilitation nurses’ experiences of factors influencing male patients’ recovery after their first myocardial infarction should be important to investigate.

Influence of mobile education on joint function and quality of life in patients after total hip arthroplasty

Objective：To explore the influence of applying educational animated film as continuous post-discharge rehabilitation guidance for patients after total hip arthroplasty（THA）.Methods：Sixty patients discharged after THA were randomly divided into two groups.Traditional methods,such as distributing manuals of rehabilitation guidance on THA and phone call follow-ups,were adopted in the control group,whereas educational animated film was used as continuous rehabilitation guidance after discharge in the experimental group.Differences in recovery of hip joint function,accuracy of functional exercise,mastery of rehabilitation knowledge and quality of life between the two groups were compared.Results：The experimental group had superior performance on all indicators compared to the control group（P〈0.05）.Conclusions：The use of educational animated film as continuous post-discharge rehabilitation guidance in patients after THA achieved better effects than traditional education methods.
