However, our testing examples show that energy minimization does not optimize the shape of the curve sometimes. This paper studies the relationship between minimizing strain energy and curve shapes, the study is carried out by constructing a cubic Hermite curve with satisfactory shape. The cubic Hermite curve interpolates the positions and tangent vectors of two given endpoints. Computer simulation technique has become one of the methods of scientific discovery, the study process is carried out by numerical computation and computer simulation technique. Our result shows that: (1) cubic Hermite curves cannot be constructed by solely minimizing the strain energy; (2) by adoption of a local minimum value of the strain energy, the shapes of cubic Hermite curves could be determined for about 60 percent of all cases, some of which have unsatisfactory shapes, however. Based on strain energy model and analysis, a new model is presented for constructing cubic Hermite curves with satisfactory shapes, which is a modification of strain energy model. The new model uses an explicit formula to compute the magnitudes of the two tangent vectors, and has the properties: (1) it is easy to compute; (2) it makes the cubic Hermite curves have satisfactory shapes while holding the good property of minimizing strain energy for some cases in curve construction. The comparison of the new model with the minimum strain energy model is included.展开更多

It is shown that the curve number and 4-index models can both be used to segregate the rainfall hyetograph into initial abstraction, retention, and runoff amounts. However, the principal advantages of the 4-index model are that both rainfall distribution and duration can be explicitly taken into account in calculating runoff, and the 4 index is more physically based than the curve number. The quantitative relationship between the curve number and the 4 index is presented and validated with field measurements. Knowing the relationship between the curve number and the 4 index is useful in that it facilitates using the extensive database of curve numbers in the more realistic 4-index model in calculating a runoff hydrograph from a given rainfall hyetograph. It is demonstrated that conventional adjustments to curve numbers can be largely explained by variations in storm duration, which suggests that variable rainfall duration can possibly be an essential factor in accounting for deviations from the median curve number of a catchment.展开更多

Methods:A serial of standard fibrinogen and 250 patient plasma samples with different qualities(normal, hemolysis, icterus, and lipemia) were run on BCSXP for assays PT, APTT and Fibrinogen. The absorbance change(DeltaA) from baseline to plateau in clotting curve was retrieved and analyzed on its correlation with the Fibrinogen result. Influence of plasma quality and PT/ APTT result on this correlation was also studied respectively. Results:Both PT-DeltaA and APTT-DeltaA showed good linear regres- sion with fibrinogen level in the sample, with R2 close to 0.90 in both standard and patient samples. Hemolysis(H), itcterus(I) and lipemia(L) of the sample with valid clotting curves were found to have no significant difference in this correlation from normal(N) sample(R2: 0.83H, 0.92I, 0.81L and 0.79N in PT; 0.89H, 0.95l, 0.91L and 0.89N in APTT) in either PT or APTT curve. PT or APTT result also has little impact on this correlation(0.71 in range 7 - 10 sec, 0.56 inl0 - 20 sec, and 0.70 in 20 sec-; R2 in APTT: 0.88 in 20-30 sec, 0.92 in 30-40 sec, and 0.95 in 40 sec-). Conclusion:The absorbance change in either PT or APTT clotting curve correlates well with the fibrinogen level in plasma, which is independent of plasma quality PT or APTT results. The absorbance change can be used as an alternative way to roughly estimate fibrinogen level in either PT or APTT clotting curve when the result of clauss-based fibrinogen measurement is not available.展开更多

However, a clear classification, fair comparison, and performance rationalization of these methods are lacking, due to the scattered existing studies. To address these issues, we develop 20 capacity estimation methods from three perspectives:charging sequence construction, input forms, and ML models. 22,582 charging curves are generated from 44 cells with different battery chemistry and operating conditions to validate the performance. Through comprehensive and unbiased comparison, the long short-term memory(LSTM) based neural network exhibits the best accuracy and robustness. Across all 6503 tested samples, the mean absolute percentage error(MAPE) for capacity estimation using LSTM is 0.61%, with a maximum error of only 3.94%. Even with the addition of 3 m V voltage noise or the extension of sampling intervals to 60 s, the average MAPE remains below 2%. Furthermore, the charging sequences are provided with physical explanations related to battery degradation to enhance confidence in their application. Recommendations for using other competitive methods are also presented. This work provides valuable insights and guidance for estimating battery capacity based on partial charging curves.展开更多

It is found that there is not a similar correlation between CN values and rainfall depths for both temporally variable classes, and hence, two different responses can be observed in the catchment according to rainfall temporal heterogeneities. For HT events, a complacent behavior is detected in which the CNs decline as rainfall depth increases while a different response, violent behavior, is observed for LT events in which the CNs rise and asymptotically approach a constant value with increasing storm size. This considerable difference between CN-P relationships derived from the two temporally variable classes of rainfall is attributed to the provocation of different runoff generation mechanisms, infiltration-excess and saturation-excess caused by rainfall temporal heterogeneities. Moreover, the results support the validity of variogram technique to classify storm events into two LT and HT classes.展开更多

As the following, the percentage-function calculation and the frequency-function calculation of the definition method are defined and developed in detail. Meanwhile, the procedures to find the tensile parameters are analysed experimentally and involve “ED” being the average values of the corresponding tensile parameters of each bundle tensile curve measured; “EC” being the tensile parameters obtained from the averaged experimental tensile curve; and “TC” being the parameters of the theoretical tensile curve according to the corresponding nominal blend ratio. The theoretical and experimental results indicate that the blend ratio estimated by the definition method from wool/polyester blended fibre bundles has a high correlation with the actual blend ratio though the variables to be known in this method are the most of all the methods and there exist the difficulty to solve fibre bundle tensile behaviour without fibre broken in accuracy and that there are high correlations between the EC and TC data and the tensile parameters should be calculated using the EC method rather than the ED method with the exception of the bundle initial modulus. The relationships between blend ratios and the tensile properties of blended fibre bundles can be used to select the optimum blend ratio of blended tops or yarns.展开更多

In the simplest scenario, the 2D de Sitter metric of constant curvature in momentum space furnishes a hierarchy of modified uncertainty relations leading to a minimum value for the position uncertainty . The first uncertainty relation of this hierarchy has the same functional form as the stringy modified uncertainty relation with a Planck scale minimum value for at . On the basis of 16 groups of coal density composition data and their jigging stratification data derived from the pilot jig, the regression analysis has been done for the relationship between the characteristic values of the density curve and the characteristic values of the distribution curve. The results show as follow: (1) The bigger the skewness of the density curve, the bigger the probable error (Ep) and imperfection (I ) are. (2) The bigger the median of density curve, the smaller the probable error or imperfection is. (3) The characteristic values of density curve have no influence on the kurtosis K of the distribution curve.

文摘Objective This study aimed to explore the association between humidity exposure and the risk of cardiovascular disease(CVD),utilizing follow-up data and relative humidity(RH)metric assessments. Methods We extracted the baseline data from the China Hypertension Survey(CHS)of 24,510 enrolled participants aged≥35 years without a history of CVD between 2012 and 2015 and followed them up from 2018 to 2019.The National Meteorological Information Center(NMIC)of the China Meteorological Administration(CMA)provided the quality-controlled relative humidity(RH)datasets.Cox proportional hazards models were used to estimate hazard ratios(HRs)for CVD in relation to RH.Results During the follow-up period(2018-2019),973 patients with CVD were identified. The HR of CVD risk was 1.17(95%CI:1.04-1.31)per 10%increase in summer mean RH.Compared with participants in the 3rd quintile group, those in the 1st and 5th quintiles of RH had a higher risk of CVD.For summer mean RH,the HRs(95%CIs)for the 1st and 5th quintiles were 1.34(1.04-1.71)and 1.44(1.14-1.83),respectively.The relationship(“U”shape)between summer mean RH and the risk of CVD was nonlinear.Stratified analyses indicated that the risk of CVD was substantially influenced by the summer mean RH in female, older individuals, and those in southern China. Conclusion Unsuitable(too high or low)humidity environments affect the risk of CVD.Our study highlights those future policies for adapting to climate change should consider the humidity-CVD relationship.

文摘With its generality and practicality, the combination of partial charging curves and machine learning(ML) for battery capacity estimation has attracted widespread attention. This work provides valuable insights and guidance for estimating battery capacity based on partial charging curves.

文摘Urban shrinkage has emerged as a widespread phenomenon globally and has a significant impact on land, particularly in terms of land use and price. This study focuses on 2851 county-level cities in China in 2005–2018(excluding Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan, and‘no data’areas in Qinhai-Tibet Plateau)as the fundamental units of analysis.By employing nighttime light(NTL)data to identify shrinking cities, the propensity score matching(PSM)model was used to quantitatively examine the impact of shrinking cities on land prices, and evaluate the magnitude of this influence. The findings demonstrate the following:1)there were 613 shrinking cities in China, with moderate shrinkage being the most prevalent and severe shrinkage being the least.2)Regional disparities are evident in the spatial distribution of shrinking cities, especially in areas with diverse terrain.3)The spatial pattern of land price exhibits a significant correlated to the economic and administrative levels.4)Shrinking cities significantly negatively impact on the overall land price(ATT=–0.1241,P<0.05).However,the extent of the effect varies significantly among different spatial regions. This study contributes novel insights into the investigation of land prices and shrinking cities, ultimately serving as a foundation for government efforts to promote the sustainable development of urban areas.

文摘The soil freezing characteristic curve(SFCC)plays a fundamental role in comprehending thermohydraulic behavior and numerical simulation of frozen soil. This study proposes a dynamic model to uniformly express SFCCs amidst varying total water contents throughout the freezing-thawing process.Firstly,a general model is proposed, wherein the unfrozen water content at arbitrary temperature is determined as the lesser of the current total water content and the reference value derived from saturated SFCC.The dynamic performance of this model is verified through test data.Subsequently,in accordance with electric double layer(EDL)theory, the theoretical residual and minimum temperatures in SFCC are calculated to be-14.5℃to-20℃for clay particles and-260℃,respectively.To ensure that the SFCC curve ends at minimum temperature,a correction function is introduced into the general model.Furthermore,a simplified dynamic model is proposed and investigated, necessitating only three parameters inherited from the general model.Additionally, both general and simplified models are evaluated based on a test database and proven to fit the test data exactly across the entire temperature range.Typical recommended parameter values for various types of soils are summarized.Overall, this study provides not only a theoretical basis for most empirical equations but also proposes a new and more general equation to describe the SFCC.
文摘The impact of temporal variation of rainfall on the relationship between rainfall and catchment response is investigated in a catchment with high temporally variable rainfalls and a high percentage of permeable soils in the southwest of Iran.Twenty-nine storm events are classified into two classes, High Temporal heterogeneous(HT) and Low Temporal heterogeneous(LT) events using the variogram technique and the storm events of each class are analyzed to detect the relationship between Curve Number(CN) and rainfall depth. Moreover, the results support the validity of variogram technique to classify storm events into two LT and HT classes.
文摘How to use a few defect samples to complete the defect classification is a key challenge in the production of mobile phone screens. An attention-relation network for the mobile phone screen defect classification is proposed in this paper. The architecture of the attention-relation network contains two modules:a feature extract module and a feature metric module.Different from other few-shot models,an attention mechanism is applied to metric learning in our model to measure the distance between features,so as to pay attention to the correlation between features and suppress unwanted information.Besides,we combine dilated convolution and skip connection to extract more feature information for follow-up processing. We validate attention-relation network on the mobile phone screen defect dataset. The experimental results show that the classification accuracy of the attentionrelation network is 0.9486 under the 5-way 1-shot training strategy and 0.9039 under the 5-way 5-shot setting. It achieves the excellent effect of classification for mobile phone screen defects and outperforms with dominant advantages.
文摘The algorithms of the strength, work, modulus and percentage methods have been introduced and discussed in Part Ⅰ and Part Ⅱ of the series papers. The relationships between blend ratios and the tensile properties of blended fibre bundles can be used to select the optimum blend ratio of blended tops or yarns.
文摘Modifications of the Weyl-Heisenberg algebra are proposed where the classical limit corresponds to a metric in (curved) momentum spaces. We proceed with a discussion of the most general curved phase space scenario (cotangent bundle of spacetime) and provide the noncommuting phase space coordinates algebra in terms of the symmetric and nonsymmetric metric components of a Hermitian complex metric , such . Yang’s noncommuting phase-space coordinates algebra, combined with the Schrodinger-Robertson inequalities involving angular momentum eigenstates, reveals how a quantized area operator in units of emerges like it occurs in Loop Quantum Gravity (LQG). Some final comments are made about Fedosov deformation quantization, Noncommutative and Nonassociative gravity.

文摘In the actual monitoring of deep hole displacement, the identification of slip surfaces is primarily based on abrupt changes observed in the inclinometric curve. In conventional identification methods, inclinometric curves exhibiting indications of sliding can be categorized into three types:B-type,D-type,and r-type.The position of the slip surface is typically determined by identifying the depth corresponding to the point of maximum displacement mutation. However, this method is sensitive to the interval of measurement points and the observation scale of the coordinate axes and suffers from unclear sliding surfaces and uncertain values.Based on the variation characteristics of these diagonal curves,we classified the landslide into three components:the sliding body, the sliding interval, and the immobile body. Moreover, three different generalization models were established to analyze the relationships between the curve form and the slip surface location based on different physical indicators such as displacement rate, relative displacement, and acceleration. The results show that the displacement rate curves of an r-type slope exhibit a clustering feature in the sliding interval, and by solving for the depth of discrete points within the step phase,it is possible to determine the location of the slip surface. On the other hand,D-type slopes have inflection points in the relative displacement curve located at the slip surface. The acceleration curves of B-type slopes exhibit clustering characteristics during the sliding interval, while the scattered acceleration data demonstrate wandering characteristics.Consequently, the slip surface location can be revealed by solving the depth corresponding to the maximum acceleration with cubic spline interpolation. The approach proposed in this paper was applied to the monitoring data of a landslide in Yunnan Province,China. The results indicate that our approach can accurately identify the slip surface location and enable computability of its position, thereby enhancing applicability and reliability of the deep-hole displacement monitoring data.
