The robust reliable guaranteed cost control for uncertain singular delay systems with actuator failures and a given quadratic cost function is studied. The system under consideration involves constant time-delay and norm-bounded parameter uncertainties. The purpose is to design state feedback controllers which can tolerate actuator failure, such that the closed-loop system is stable, and the specified cost function has an upper bound for all admissible uncertainties. The sufficient conditions for the solvability of this problem are obtained by a linear matrix inequality (LMI) method. Furthermore, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed approach. 展开更多

The time delays are assumed to be dependent on the system modes. Delay-dependent conditions for the solvability of these problems are obtained via parameter-dependent Lyapunov functionals. Furthermore, it is shown that the desired state feedback controller can be designed by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities. This study deals with reliable control problems in data-driven cyber-physical systems(CPSs) with intermittent communication faults, where the faults may be caused by bad or broken communication devices and/or cyber attackers. To solve them, a watermark-based anomaly detector is proposed, where the faults are divided to be either detectable or undetectable.Secondly, the fault's intermittent characteristic is described by the average dwell-time(ADT)-like concept, and then the reliable control issues, under the undetectable faults to the detector, are converted into stabilization issues of switched systems. Furthermore,based on the identifier-critic-structure learning algorithm, a datadriven switched controller with a prescribed-performance-based switching law is proposed, and by the ADT approach, a tolerated fault set is given. Additionally, it is shown that the presented switching laws can improve the system performance degradation in asynchronous intervals, where the degradation is caused by the fault-maker-triggered switching rule, which is unknown for CPS operators. The suboptimal reliable guaranteed cost control (RGCC) with multi-criterion constraints is investigated for a class of uncertain continuous-time systems with sensor faults. A fauk model in sensors, which considers outage or partial degradation of sensors, is adopted. The influence of the disturbance on the quadratic stability of the closed-loop systems is analyzed. The reliable state-feedback controller is developed by a linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) approach, to minimize the upper bound of a quadratic cost fimction under the conditions that all the closed-loop poles be placed in a specified disk, and that the prescribed level of H∞ disturbance attenuation and the upper bound constraints of control inputs' magnitudes be guaranteed. Thus, with the above muki-criterion constraints, the resulting closed-loop system can provide satisfactory stability, transient property, a disturbance rejection level and minimized quadratic cost performance despite possible sensor faults. 展开更多

The uncertainties in the system are norm-bounded and time-varying. Based on Lyapunov methods, a sufficient condition on quadratic stabilization independent of delay is obtained. With the help of LMIs (linear matrix inequalities) approaches, a linear state feedback controller is designed to quadratically stabilize the given systems with a H∞ performance constraint of disturbance attenuation for all admissible uncertainties and all actuator failures occurred within the prespecified subset. Due to the non-standardization and complexity of the farmland environment,it is always a huge challenge for tractors to achieve fully autonomy(work at Self-driving mode)all the time in agricultural industry.Whereas,when tractors work in the Tele-driving(or Remote driving)mode,the operators are prone to fatigue because they need to concentrate for long periods of time.In response to these,a dual-mode control strategy was proposed to integrate the advantages of both approaches,i.e.,by combing Self-driving at most of the time with Tele-driving under special(complex and hazardous)conditions through switching control method.First,the state switcher was proposed,which is used for smooth switching the driving modes according to different working states of a tractor.Then,the state switching control law and the corresponding subsystem tracking controllers were designed.Finally,the effectiveness and superiority of the dualmode control method were evaluated via actual experimental testing of a tractor whose results show that the proposed control method can switch smoothly,stably,and efficiently between the two driving modes automatically.The average control accuracy has been improved by 20%and 15%respectively,compared to the conventional Tele-driving control and Self-driving control with low-precision navigation.In conclusion,the proposed dualmode control method can not only satisfy the operation in the complex and changeable farmland environment,but also free drivers from high-intensity and fatiguing work.This provides a perfect application solution and theoretical support for the intelligentization of unmanned farm agricultural machinery with high safety and reliability. 展开更多

A numerical example is also given to illustrate the design procedure and their effectiveness. Based on the linear matrix inequality (LMI) techniques and stability theory of stochastic differential equations, a stochastic Lyapunov function method is adopted to design a state feedback fuzzy controller. The resulting closed-loop fuzzy system is robustly reliable stochastically stable, and the corresponding quadratic cost function is guaranteed to be no more than a certain upper bound for all admissible uncertainties, as well as different actuator fault cases. A sufficient condition of existence and design method of robust reliable guaranteed cost controller is presented. Software Defined Networking(SDN) provides flexible network management by decoupling control plane and data plane. However, such separation introduces the issues regarding the reliability of the control plane and controller load imbalance in the distributed SDN network, which will cause the low network stability and the poor controller performance. This paper proposes Reliable and Load balance-aware Multi-controller Deployment(RLMD) strategy to address the above problems. Firstly, we establish a multiple-controller network model and define the relevant parameters for RLMD. Then, we design the corresponding algorithms to implement this strategy. By weighing node efficiency and path quality, Controller Placement Selection(CPS) algorithm is introduced to explore the reliable deployments of the controllers. On this basis, we design Multiple Domain Partition(MDP) algorithm to allocate switches for controllers according to node attractability and controller load balancing rate, which could realize the reasonable domain planning. Finally, the simulations show that, compared with the typical strategies, RLMD has the better performance in improving the reliability of the control plane and balancing the distribution of the controller loads. 展开更多

Software-Defined Networking(SDN)provides flexible and global network management by decoupling control plane from data plane,and multiple controllers are deployed in the network in a logically centralized and physically distributed way.However,the existing approaches generally deploy the controllers with the same type in the network,which easily causes homogeneous controller common-mode fault.To this end,this paper proposes heterogeneous controller deployment in the SDN,considering the different types of controllers and relevant criteria(e.g.,delay,control link interruption rate,and controller fault rate).Then,we introduce a Safe and Reliable Heterogeneous Controller Deployment(SRHCD)approach,consisting of two stages.Stage 1 determines the type and the number of heterogeneous controllers required for the SDN network based on the dynamic programming.Stage 2 divides the SDN network into multiple subnets by k-means algorithm and improves the genetic algorithm to optimize the heterogeneous controller deployment in these SDN subnets to ensure reliable switch-controller communications.Finally,the simulation results show that the proposed approach can effectively reduce the control plane fault rate and increase the attack difficulties.Besides,the switch-controller delay has been lowered by 16.5%averagely. 展开更多

The outputs of the actuator failures are regarded as zero. The purpose is to design the state feedback controller such that, for all admissible uncertainties as well as actuator failures occurring among a prespecified subset of actuators, the plant remains asymptotically stable. A modified algebraic Riccati equation approach was developed to solve the problem addressed and a robust reliable control law was obtained.
