China has been promoting the renovation of old residential communities vigorously.Due to the financial pressure of the government and the sustainability of the renovation of old residential communities,public-private ...China has been promoting the renovation of old residential communities vigorously.Due to the financial pressure of the government and the sustainability of the renovation of old residential communities,public-private partnerships(PPP)have already gained attention.The selection of social capital is key to improving the efficiency of the PPP model in renovating old residential communities.In order to determine the influencing factors of social capital selection in the renovation of old residential communities,this paper aims to find an effective approach and analyze these factors.In this paper,a fuzzy decision-making and trial evaluation laboratory(fuzzy-DEMATEL)technique is extended and amore suitable systemis developed for the selection of social capital using the existing group decisionmaking theory.In the first stage,grounded theory is used to extract the unabridged key influencing factors for social capital selection in the renovation of old residential communities.Secondly,by considering the impact of expert weights,the key influencing factors are identified.The interactions within these influencing factors are discussed and the credibility of the results is verified by sensitivity analysis.Finally,these key influencing factors are sorted by importance.Based on the results,the government should focus on a technical level,organizationalmanagement abilities,corporate reputation,credit status,etc.This study provides the government with a theoretical basis and a methodology for evaluating social capital selection.展开更多

In order to improve the adaptability of coals, the stability of coal powder ignition, the burn-off rate of pulverized coals and the boiler efficiency, a series of renovation projects about importing hot air into mill exhauster are proposed. For the sake of verifying the renovation effects, an efficiency performance test is conducted on the renovated #5 boiler. The test result shows that the boiler heat efficiency has improved by 0.4% and it operates more safely and reliably after the renovation. Local vernacular dwellings can be classified in the following 3 ways on the basis of their own regional features:First, classifying by the origin and development history:stilt building, courtyard and non-courtyard building, western-style building; Second, by building materials:bamboo-wood building, stone building, adobe building, earth-stone building, brick-wood building, building of mixed materials; Third, by architectural form:stilt building, courtyard building, non-courtyard building. Stilt wooden building in northern Guangxi is a representative of traditional vernacular dwellings in the study area. By incorporating the catastrophe theory with fuzzy mathematical theory, the mathematic model was created, and catastrophe membership function was obtained as well as evaluation results. Policies for the renovation of urban villages and new direction of the renovation were interpreted. The application case proved that catastrophe progression method was objective and effective and it could provide new concepts for the evaluation and adjustment of urban village renovation. Comparisons of advantages and disadvantages among the plans of SWSS renovations provided solid foundation for selecting the most appro-priate plan for engineering projects. In addition,a mathematical model of the optimal combination of renovation plans has been set up and software Lingo was used to solve the model. As a case study,the paper analyzed 15 buildings in Tianjin City. After simulation of the SWSS renovation system,an optimal scheme was obtained,the result of which indicates that 10 out of those 15 buildings need be renovated in priority. The renovation plans selected for each building are the ones ranked higher in the com-prehensive analysis. The analysis revealed that the optimal scheme,compared with two other randomly calculated ones,increased the percentage of service population by 19.6% and 13.6% respectively,which significantly improved social and economical benefits.展开更多

BACKGROUND Utilizing the large jumbo cup in revision total hip arthroplasty is an effective approach to cure many lacunar and segmental peripheral bone defects.However,with the use of the jumbo cup,the center of the h...BACKGROUND Utilizing the large jumbo cup in revision total hip arthroplasty is an effective approach to cure many lacunar and segmental peripheral bone defects.However,with the use of the jumbo cup,the center of the hip joint may become elevated relative to the primary acetabulum,and the diameter of the large cup is greater.AIM To study the height and the significance of the elevation of the hip joint center.METHODS Eighty-eight patients matched the criteria for this condition and were included in the study.The center height of the hip joint was measured relative to the opposite normal hip joint.The diameter of the jumbo cup was measured and checked according to operation notes,and the diameter of the jumbo cup was measured with a prosthesis label.Then,the horizontal and vertical centers of rotation were measured on the surgical side and opposite side.The average center height of the hip joint on the renovated side and the opposite side and the position of the hip cup relative to the teardrop were compared using a paired t-test.RESULTS Radiometric analysis showed that the average hip joint center was elevated by 7.6 mm.The rotational center height delta of the renovated hip was 7.6±5.6 mm,and there was an obvious difference between the two groups(P=0.00).The difference in horizontal distance was 0.5±5.1 mm(-11.5-14.0 mm),and there was no obvious difference between the two groups(P=0.38).According to the foreign standard,the rotational center height delta of the renovated hip was 7.5±6.2 mm,and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P=0.00).There was no obvious difference between the domestic and foreign standards(P>0.05)between the two groups.CONCLUSION The application of the jumbo cup elevates the rotational center of the hip joint,but it is feasible and effective to use the jumbo cup.展开更多

文摘With Zibai Eco-farm as an example, this study focuses on the integrated landscape renovation of abandoned national defense plants which were built during 1970s and 1980s in the mountainous area of Liangdang County, Gansu Province, by combining architecture with landscape, environment and folk customs, aims at creating the comprehensive project with regional characteristics and integration of tourism, sightseeing, cultural product development and so on. The design includes the transformation of workshop to civil use, the utilization of terrains, landforms and water resources, the constitution of environment landscapes, as well as the courtyard construction and cultural product planning. The authors hope that this study would help the reformation and utilization of similar state properties.

It aims at presenting suggestions for the protection and development of historical blocks through analyzing the methods and procedures for repairing and rebuilding the infrastructures and green landscapes in the blocks.
文摘Renovation design of wasteland on the original Quarter A of Panzhihua Nongnongping Steelcasting Factory was taken for example in this study, natural conditions and biological landscapes in the study area were investigated. Principles and theories of the renovation design were introduced, it was proposed that protection and landscape renovation of industrial heritage had to be insisted to make regular and unique overall spatial layouts. On this basis, design approaches for the wasteland landscape renovation of the steel-casting factory were proposed as "maintaining original images, realizing the functional substitution; optimizing spatial structure; updating seriously-damaged industrial facilities with insignificant functionality; improving and recovering landscape soil; recovering and reconstructing vegetation".
文摘Through introducing concepts of great relics and its protective planning theories, construction of relics park is a characteristic protection mode for cultural heritage in China, and also a useful exploration in the combination of theories and practices of great relics protection. Moreover, it is also the best means of protecting great relics ever found. Taking landscape planning of the front hall relics of the Weiyang Palace, relics of the front hall was believed to have great scientific value, so its environmental renovation and improvement should be based on scientific landscape planning, the whole relics should be protected and displayed scientifically and completely, landscape elements introduced as the effective texture by applying ecological patterns according to actual conditions, new techniques favorable for the protection and scientific research of relics adopted to provide a new strategy for the construction of great ruins park in China.
文摘Renovation system of urban villages in Xi'an City was evaluated. Influence factors of urban village renovation were analyzed on the basis of brittleness theory, and an evaluation index system established through multi-level inconsistency decomposing. By incorporating the catastrophe theory with fuzzy mathematical theory, the mathematic model was created, and catastrophe membership function was obtained as well as evaluation results. Policies for the renovation of urban villages and new direction of the renovation were interpreted. The application case proved that catastrophe progression method was objective and effective and it could provide new concepts for the evaluation and adjustment of urban village renovation. Moreover, application of brittleness theory in the research on urban village renovation is of great instruction and reference value for the present urban construction.
文摘By taking Ma Lake Scenic Area of Leibo County in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture for example, based on field study and the general situation of villages, the paper had analyzed environmental characteristics of Huanglang Village, including the village's history and ethnic customs, landscape resources and environmental ecological quality, and village spatial pattern feature. It had concluded existing problems of villages' construction in tourism development of scenic area, and discussed renovation measures of Huanglang Village from physical and spiritual aspects. On the one hand, villages' physical environment could be renovated through integrating spatial layout pattern of villages, renovating architectural appearance and completing basic facilities. On the other hand, natural landscape and leisure culture could be combined through exploring the culture of Brasenia schreberi and creating comfortable psychological environment of South China, so that tourists could experience good psychological atmosphere, further promoting the healthy and sustainable development of tourism in Huanglang Village.

文摘Due to pollution in second water supply system (SWSS),nine renovation alternative plans were proposed and com-prehensive evaluations of different plan based on Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) were presented in this paper. Comparisons of advantages and disadvantages among the plans of SWSS renovations provided solid foundation for selecting the most appro-priate plan for engineering projects. In addition,a mathematical model of the optimal combination of renovation plans has been set up and software Lingo was used to solve the model. As a case study,the paper analyzed 15 buildings in Tianjin City. After simulation of the SWSS renovation system,an optimal scheme was obtained,the result of which indicates that 10 out of those 15 buildings need be renovated in priority. The renovation plans selected for each building are the ones ranked higher in the com-prehensive analysis. The analysis revealed that the optimal scheme,compared with two other randomly calculated ones,increased the percentage of service population by 19.6% and 13.6% respectively,which significantly improved social and economical benefits.
文摘As a famous historical and cultural city of China, and one of the ecological conservation experimental plots of Huizhou culture, Likeng owns many cultural units under state and local protection. The paper elaborated the significance and principles of protecting ancient buildings in Likeng, analyzed the restoration principles and technical schemes. Through analyzing the protection of ancient buildings in Likeng, the rationality of protection, and the balance between protection and development was proposed, and protection of the projects in the national historic and cultural heritage list, cultural relics protection units at all levels, famous historic and cultural cities was introduced.

This paper investigated behaviors and mental activities of the elderly, problems of outdoor environment in old residential communities, and proposed strategies for the renovation of old residential communities from the perspectives of outdoor environment, road, greening and public supporting facilities according to demands of the elderly on outdoor environment, so as to provide them a comfortable and reasonable outdoor environment.
文摘Shantytown renovation is a livelihood project initiated by the Chinese government to reconstruct urban dilapidated housing and improve housing conditions for families in need. Since the funding problem is a major obstacle in the course of shantytown renovation, the government actively advocates the adoption of the public-private partnership(PPP) model. In view of the particularity of shantytown renovation and the complexity of the PPP model operation procedures, it is considered that the risk management of shantytown renovation based on the PPP model. This paper identified and judged the main risks of the PPP project in shantytown renovation, and put forward corresponding suggestions for the risk management of the PPP project in shantytown renovation, hoping to provide a reference for government decision-making.

文摘BACKGROUND Utilizing the large jumbo cup in revision total hip arthroplasty is an effective approach to cure many lacunar and segmental peripheral bone defects.However,with the use of the jumbo cup,the center of the hip joint may become elevated relative to the primary acetabulum,and the diameter of the large cup is greater.AIM To study the height and the significance of the elevation of the hip joint center.METHODS Eighty-eight patients matched the criteria for this condition and were included in the study.The center height of the hip joint was measured relative to the opposite normal hip joint.The diameter of the jumbo cup was measured and checked according to operation notes,and the diameter of the jumbo cup was measured with a prosthesis label.Then,the horizontal and vertical centers of rotation were measured on the surgical side and opposite side.The average center height of the hip joint on the renovated side and the opposite side and the position of the hip cup relative to the teardrop were compared using a paired t-test.RESULTS Radiometric analysis showed that the average hip joint center was elevated by 7.6 mm.The rotational center height delta of the renovated hip was 7.6±5.6 mm,and there was an obvious difference between the two groups(P=0.00).The difference in horizontal distance was 0.5±5.1 mm(-11.5-14.0 mm),and there was no obvious difference between the two groups(P=0.38).According to the foreign standard,the rotational center height delta of the renovated hip was 7.5±6.2 mm,and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P=0.00).There was no obvious difference between the domestic and foreign standards(P>0.05)between the two groups.CONCLUSION The application of the jumbo cup elevates the rotational center of the hip joint,but it is feasible and effective to use the jumbo cup.
