Taking Changli Fruit Tree Research Institute of Hebei Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences as an example,starting from the importance of strengthening scientific and technological propaganda work in agricultural research institutes,the current situation of scientific and technological propaganda work in agricultural research institutes is analyzed in this paper.In response to the problems of lack of targeted evaluation mechanism,lack of distinctive publicity forms,and weak news sensitivity of science and technology propaganda workers in agricultural research institutions,strategies such as establishing a scientific and standardized evaluation system,improving incentive policies,deeply exploring propaganda content,leveraging the joint advantages of new and traditional media,and cultivating and training science and technology propaganda teams are proposed.

Adoption Strategy for Cloud Computing in Research Institutions: A Structured Literature Review

Currently, Kenyan research institutions Information Technology operations use external storage, within or without institutional network environments. This study presents a structured literature review of a cloud computing adoption strategy for research institutions in Kenya. The reviews objectives are: 1) to establish the characteristics/peculiarities and IT environments of research institutions in Kenya, 2) current cloud computing technologies, adoption approaches and drivers in the adoption of cloud computing. The findings are that there is need for an adoption strategy for Cloud computing in the Kenyan research Institutions that will use a DOI and TOE combined approach while addressing technological, organizational and environmental factors. The findings are used to propose a cloud computing adoption strategy for the Kenyan Research Institutions in future research.

The Norwegian Model in Norway

The "Norwegian Model" attempts to comprehensively cover all the peer-reviewed scholarly literatures in all areas of research in one single weighted indicator. Thereby, scientific production is made comparable across departments and faculties within and between research institutions, and the indicator may serve institutional evaluation and funding. This article describes the motivation for creating the model in Norway, how it was designed, organized and implemented, as well as the effects and experiences with the model.
