The Three Principles of Institutional Safeguards for Women's Participation in Legislation in China

The participation of women in legislation is an important aspect and means of safeguarding women’s rights.Feminist theory,based on criticism of both the“citizenship identity theory as rights”and the“citizenship identity theory as responsibilities,”proposes the“citizenship identity theory as subjectivity.”Observing the current practice of women’s participation in legislation in China,two institutional safeguard principles can be summarized:the“minimum proportion”and the“influence evaluation.”However,each of these principles has its inherent limitations.Therefore,it is necessary to supplement them with the principle of“subjective participation”in a reflective manner.This principle requires women to participate substantively in the legislative process as subjects,express women’s needs and demands,input women’s perspectives and experiences,and reconstruct the distribution of rights and responsibilities in the existing legislation.The three principles complement each other and work together to comprehensively constitute the institutional structure of women’s participation in legislation,thereby promoting the reproduction of corresponding action structures.

Resident Relocation of Wulingyuan World Natural Heritage Site Based on Community Participation Theory

Migrant relocation is an important measure for the scenic spot to effectively protect the ecological environment.The problem of migrant relocation of Wulingyuan World Heritage Site is the most serious and difficult problem in the development of Wulingyuan,and it is a very representative case of migrant relocation in tourist attractions of China.Based on the community participation theory,this paper made a detailed analysis of the panel data on the relocation of residents in Wulingyuan World Heritage Site.Combining the first-hand information obtained from the field interviews,starting from the reasons for the relocation,the resettlement plan,and the effects of the relocation,it also analyzed the problems existing in the relocation of residents in Wulingyuan World Heritage Site.Finally,it came up with recommendations in line with the interests of residents from the perspective of community participation.

＂Impression-Liu Sanjie＂ -A Research on the Participation and Perception of Residents in Scenic Area and Community

Tight space and interactive resources grant tourism community residents a vital body status in community tourism development and construction process. Residents＇ all-sided and effective participation in Tourism development process, with no doubt, is an open democratization process and an effective way to ensure sustainable development of tourism as it can raise residents＇ income and eliminate bad influence of tourism. ＂Impression-Liu Sanjie＂ is a scenic spot where ＂landscape live-action＂ is performed. Local residents （farmers） serve as the main part. Through survey and analysis of participation and perception of community residents, this paper aims at finding some useful consult and inspirations for the development, management and policy formulation of other rural scenic region alike.

Change Trend of Chinese Urban Residents' Food-nitrogen Consumption

Change trend of Chinese urban residents＇ per capita food-nitrogen annual consumption from 1981 to 2007 was analyzed and predicted by using ARIMA time-series model in order to reveal the change of urban food-nitrogen consumption during the China＇s urbanization process.Results showed that after 1980s,the annual consumption of Chinese urban residents＇ food-nitrogen had a change trend of ＂ increase-decrease-increase＂ and generally presented as a slight increasing trend;With the acceleration of rapid economic development and urbanization process,Chinese urban residents＇ food-nitrogen consumption will still keep a rising trend in future,and also has a large rising space.

国家公园建设背景下居民旅游参与意愿的形成机制研究——基于SEM与fsQCA的混合分析

社区居民是国家公园建设的重要主体,其参与国家公园旅游发展的意愿扮演着反映政策执行效果的角色,关系到国家公园高质量发展的成效.该研究基于效果层次模型构建底层理论逻辑,运用结构方程模型和模糊集定性比较分析相混合的方法,系统探究国家公园建设背景下居民旅游参与意愿的形成机制.结果表明:1)居民与社区和国家公园间的关系质量是其旅游参与意愿的重要影响因素,其中国家公园信任的影响作用最为明显;2)旅游积极影响感知可直接提升也可通过社区满意度和国家公园信任间接提升居民旅游参与意愿;3)旅游消极影响感知不能直接降低居民旅游参与意愿,但通过负向作用于社区满意度和国家公园信任可间接抑制居民旅游参与意愿.此外,通过模糊集定性比较分析进一步得出居民高/低旅游参与意愿的组态路径,其中“社区满意型”和“积极感知+国家公园信任型”居民群体拥有较高水平的旅游参与意愿,而“消极感知型”居民群体则具有较低水平的旅游参与意愿.研究结论可为在国家公园建设过程中精准激励居民群体参与旅游发展提供政策参考,也可为国家公园相关机构制定旅游发展政策提供理论依据.

Teaching Ultrasound Imaging for Central Line Placement—A Resident’s Perspective

The availability of ultrasound (US) devices has refined techniques for vascular access. The resident trainee’s ability to learn US techniques depends upon device availability, skills, and motivation of instructors. We hypothesized that hands-on teaching program of US techniques for vascular access would have a positive impact on the trainee’s perceptions. After IRB approval, PGY3 anesthesiology residents with limited prior experience in US-guided vascular access underwent close supervision by attending staff as they performed US-guided Internal Jugular Vein (IJV) central line placements. A total of 66 land mark (LM) and 75 US-guided IJV cannulation performed by 19 residents were supervised. Residents completing the study were more proactive with 68.4% agreeing to use US based techniques for an anticipated difficulty in accessing central lines. The graduating residents involved in the study all strongly agreed that US imaging for vascular access was within the scope of practice of all anesthesiologists, and that training guidelines be established and incorporated in their practice. Fifty eight percent of residents stated that their confidence and skill levels had significantly improved. Teaching US-guided techniques resulted in an increase employment of such techniques by graduating residents with no impediment attributed to knowledge deficits or inexperience. Residents were more proactive with using US for anticipated difficulty in IJV placement. A short neck, poor landmark, anticoagulation, morbid obesity favored US use by residents. Systematic teaching of US techniques is justified as it significantly improves the resident’s perceptions and confidence.

A Study on the Relationship Paths Between Leisure and Well-Being of Elderly Residents

With the increasing of the elderly population in China,the aging of population has become an important issue that cannot be ignored in the development of our country.Based on the social support theory,this study surveyed elderly residents in Shanghai to construct and explore the driving model of well-being of elderly residents in China.The results indicated that leisure motivation of elderly residents in China significantly affected their leisure involvement;leisure involvement was related to leisure satisfaction of the elderly;leisure satisfaction had a significant positive effect on well-being of the elderly.Moreover,a series of managerial implications and recommendations were provided to formulate leisure management policies for the elderly,meet their leisure needs,and improve their well-being.

社会公平感如何影响农村居民制度化政治参与?——基于五期CGSS的实证研究

推动农村居民政治参与是落实乡村振兴战略、提高乡村治理水平的重要环节。为探究个体因素在农村居民制度化政治参与中的作用,本文基于行为公共管理学理论,使用五期中国综合社会调查(CGSS)调查数据,并运用分层线性模型,探讨社会公平感、互联网媒介与农村居民制度化政治参与的关系。研究发现:农村居民的社会公平感对制度化政治参与有正向影响;社会信任在其中起到中介作用;互联网媒介虽然抑制了农村居民的制度化政治参与,但在社会信任影响制度化政治参与的过程中起到正向调节作用。研究结果有助于揭示农村居民制度化政治参与的成因以及互联网在其中的作用。

Research on the Public Behaviors to Participate in the Lake Chief System-Based on the Survey of Hengshui City, China

Lake chief system is an innovative measure of ecological civilization construction in lake governance and protection in China. Due to the complexity and openness of lake resources, it is difficult for the government and the market to properly handle the arduous task of lake governance, and public participation is an effective remedy for the failure of the government and the market. In order to know the public participation in the protection lakes, this paper selected 318 citizens from Hengshui city and uses the questionnaire survey to understand the public’s participation attitude, approach and behavior of the lake chief system. The research results show that the public’s education level, length of residence and understanding of the lake chief system have a positive impact on their participation.

This paper focused on Japan who was as a new colonial government in Taiwan under Japanese rule,during the period of which took official buildings or urban planning mainly of a series of Western European-style architecture as a ruler’s cultural identity and a modern Taiwan policy.However,in the context of East Asian modernity,the basic colonial not only mixed Eurocentric,but also included Japan Center and the interaction between the two.Therefore,the scope of research and discussion shall have regarded to the non-Western,non-white nature of the Japanese Empire,and its colonial/modernity construction is another new model.Taiwan Governor-General’s Residence as the Governor-General’s residence for Japanese government combined administrative office,daily living,and social life,showing a symbol of Japan’s colonial ruling class,and a hostel to greet Japanese royal family and the nobility from time to time.As a mansion of both Western Baroque and Japanese style,its architectural design has class meaning,therefore it featured with a class-separation building,also combined the leisure of Western high society.The associated festivals at that time included tea party,fairs and royal family welcoming pilgrimage,the part of which with a strong political implication.This paper mainly uses the images of the Taiwan Governor-General’s Residence during the Japanese rule period and the literature at that time to restore the mixed taste and Japanese-Western style of Taiwan at that time.The Japanese colonists ruled the complex interactions of different ethnic groups in Taiwan.

A Kind of Sustainable Craft Making： Equal and Flexible Participation in Piecing Acehnese Hat

Terms of sustainable and sustainability have been employed in various sectors and fields since around 1990. To make a society sustainable needs to find ways of having sustainable local activities. The ways may be to find and revitalize local resources, or to support new life styles by accepting outsider＇s new ideas. I see those ways often taken from a perspective that the ways require a structure or institutional organization. To explore in-between ways, it would be better to have an alternative perspective and useful to learn from Southeast Asian cases of managing diversity while accepting new ways （cf. Reid, 2015）. In this essay, I focus on a sustainable craft making of a men＇s hat kopiah meuketob in Aceh, Sumatra, which is traditional item for marriage but has been used in various imaginative ways and has been shaping a regional ＂craft-scape.＂ I examine such ways and various facets of making the hat and conclude that a lesson from the case for making things sustainable is equal and flexible ways of participating in production processes.

Bangsamoro Women＇s Participation on Political Processes in Lanao Del Sur

This study attempts to examine the conceptual and political bases of Bangsamoro women＇s participation on politics in terms of electoral, policy-making, and peace processes in Lanao del Sur. The descriptive correlation method was used, which utilized a survey questionnaire as the primary source in acquiring the data. The findings showed that the majority of the respondents were young, most of them were married and had finished elementary degree. It was observed that their participation in electoral, policy-making, and peace processes was high but vote buying, political ideology, and corruption were considered to be their problems. Despite cultural barriers, a clear understanding of their role as Muslim woman can increase their participation. Hence, total reform in the government as well as the Barangay should be done including their participation for the training programs on leadership, accountability and transparency, human and political rights awareness as well as the Shariah Law and the Philippine Constitution. Political party system that has a strong alliance to other political parties shall also be established in order to assure their participation. Linkages to other civil society like class-based organizations, occupation-based associations, and interest-based societies shall be tapped by the leaders of Bangsamoro women.

升级版“GP-S模式”在我国南北实证研究中的可行性分析

全科住院医师规范化培训(以下简称“住培”)是培养全科医师的重要途径。浙江大学医学院附属第一医院(以下简称“浙大一院”)全科医学科创新建立了升级版导航式多路径全科医师培养模式(升级版“GP-S模式”),为求同质化培养全科医生,现拟开展升级版“GP-S模式”在中国的南北实证研究。研究拟选取浙江省和内蒙古自治区的全科住培基地为试验基地,并采用SWOT分析法探讨升级版“GP-S模式”应用于中国南北地区的可行性。文章从试验基地的人才与资源优势、外部的技术与政策支持以及浙江省与内蒙古自治区的差异等方面分析,并提出了应对劣势与挑战的策略,以提升升级版“GP-S模式”在我国南北地区开展实证研究的可行性。
