The background level was determined by using a notch-filter of Co, In, and Cd sheets. The present measurement was compared with the previous ones, and a new set of resonance parameters of ^169Tm isotope was obtained from the transmission rate by using the SAMMY code, with a comparison with the recommended parameters by Mughabghab.展开更多

This mode appears as an eigenmode of nearly diurnal free wobble (NDFW) in a terrestrial reference frame with a period of about one day (XU et al, 2001). Therefore, the NDFW will lead to an obvious resonance enhancement in the diurnal tidal gravity observations, especially those of the tidal waves with frequencies closed to its eigenfrequency such as P1, K1, ψ1 and Ф1. The FCN resonance parameters can be retrieved accurately by high-precision tidal gravity observations, especially those recorded with the superconducting gravimeters (SG). The Global Geodynamics Project (GGP) organized by IUGG took it as an important content for determining the FCN resonance parameters by using gravity data. However, the results are affected by many factors such as station location, background noise, the selection of the tide-generating potential tables, ocean tide models, data processing techniques and so on. In our study, the FCN parameters will be retrieved by using the SG observations at Wuhan, and the effects of the choices of various tide-generating potential tables, oceanic models and weight functions on the estimation of the FCN parameters will be discussed in detail,展开更多

The correlations between chemical, functional and structural prop- erties of highly toxic pesticides were investigated using the PreADME analysis. We observed that toxic pesticides possessed higher molecular weight and, more hydrogen bond donors and acceptors when compared with less toxic pesticides. The occurrence of functional groups and structural properties was analyzed using ~H-NMR. The ~H- NMR spectra of the phosphomethoxy class of pesticides were characterized by methyl resonances at 3.7-3.9 ppm (8) with the coupling constants of 11-16 Hz (Je-cns). In phosphoethoxy pesticides, the methyl resonance was about 1.4 ppm (8) with the coupling constant of 10 Hz (Je-cH2) and the methylene resonances was 4.2-4.4 ppm (8) with the coupling constant of 0.8 Hz (Jp-cH3), respectively. Our study shows that the values of four parameters such as chemical shift, coupling constant, integration and relaxation time correlated with the concentration of toxic pesticides, and can be used to characterise the proton groups in the molecular structures of toxic pesticides.展开更多

The neutron energy was determined using a fast multi-cell fission chamber and the time-of-flight technique. Two high-purity bismuth samples,6 mm and 20 mm in thickness, were chosen for neutron transmission measurements and comparisons. The neutron total cross-sections of ^(209)Bi, ranging from 0.3 e V to 20 Me V, were derived considering neutron flight time determination, flight path calibration, and background subtraction. A comparison of the experimental results with the data in the ENDF/B-VⅢ.0 library showed fair agreement, and the point-wise cross-sections were found to be consistent with existing experimental data. Special attention was given to the determination of resonance parameters, which were analyzed using the R-matrix code SAMMY and Bayesian method in the 0.5 ke V to 20 ke V energy range. The extracted resonance parameters were compared to previously reported results and evaluated data. This study is recognized as the first one where the neutron total cross-section of bismuth across such a broad energy spectrum is measured in a single measurement or experiment, and it provides valuable data for the assessment of related reaction information for evaluated libraries and the advancement of lead-bismuth-based nuclear systems.展开更多

This is significantly different from the current world average values given by the Particle Data Group 2008. We find that there are differences between models used to fit the K^*(892) decay invariant mass spectra in different measurements and study the model dependence in the measurement of K^*(892) parameters. We refit the K^*(892)^0 mass spectra of the BELLE and FOCUS experiments with the formula used by BELLE in fitting K^*(892)^- to get new mass and width. After refitting, the K^*(892)^0 mass of the BELLE experiment becomes 1.4 MeV/c^2 larger than the initial value and that of the FOCUS experiment is 1 MeV/c^2 smaller than the initial value. We also fit the spectra of some other experiments to extract the K^* (892) parameters using the BELLE K^* (892)^- parametrization.展开更多

The geometrical and electronic structures are calculated at the ECP60MWB//6-31G*(H, C, Cl, N, S) basis set level using DFT method; one-photon absorption (OPA) properties are calculated by using both TDDFT and ZINDO methods and two-photon absorption (TPA) properties are obtained with the ZINDO/SOS method. The resonance integrals parameters (βsp and βd) for Pt are adjusted to -1 and -28.5 eV, respectively, to make max OPA wavelength calculated by ZINDO closest to the experimental data and TDDFT results. The calculated results indicate the molecule 2b ([Pt (Cnaphthyl, N, Npyrazolyl) Cl]) has the biggest potential as outstanding TPA materials because (i) the TPA properties of b series are more outstanding in IR wavelength range, the molecules in b series have good transparencies and possess 1-pyrazolyl-NH that is also available for another metal coordination (e.g., dimerization) and chemical interactions; (ii) when C is CnaphthyI in the C, N, N ligand of cyclometalated Pt(II) complexes, the molecules have the best conjugation effect and the best TPA properties.展开更多
