The consequences of bird impact can be severe and, therefore, the aircraft components have to be certified for a proven level of bird impact resistance before being put into service. The fan rotor blades of aeroengine are the components being easily impacted by birds. It is necessary to ensure that the fan rotor blades should have adequate resistance against the bird impact, to reduce the flying accidents caused by bird impacts. Using the contacting-impacting algorithm, the numerical simulation is carded out to simulate bird impact. A three-blade computational model is set up for the fan rotor blade having shrouds. The transient response curves of the points corresponding to measured points in experiments, displacements and equivalent stresses on the blades are obtained during the simulation. From the comparison of the transient response curves obtained from numerical simulation with that obtained from experiments, it can be found that the variations in measured points and the corresponding points of simulation are basically the same. The deforming process, the maximum displacements and the maximum equivalent stresses on blades are analyzed. The numerical simulation verifies and complements the experiment results.展开更多

文摘Purpose:This study examines whether socially responsible firms are uninterested in risk-taking and whether socially responsible banks are more dividend providers than socially irresponsible ones.We conducted the analysis using the least-squares method for 290-panel data observations of 32 commercial banks operating in Bangladesh from 2008 to 2018.Methodology:We employed Ordinary Least Squares Regression for 290-panel data observations of 32 commercial banks operating in Bangladesh from 2008 to 2018 using EViews software version-8.Moreover,we conducted descriptive analysis and correlations using SPSS software. We considered CSRI and CSRPI as the indicators of corporate social responsibility, dividend per share and stock dividend as a proxy of dividend policy,LEV(leverage),and non-performing loan to total loan as the indicators of financial risk, and lastly,Z score as the indicator of financial stability.Findings:Studies have shown that banks prioritizing social responsibility tend to pay dividends to their shareholders more frequently and consistently than banks that do not.In particular, banks that invest heavily in corporate social responsibility(CSR)tend to maintain a stable dividend payout, which can help address agency problems that arise from overinvestment in the CSR sector.Additionally,we found that banks that make huge expenditures on CSR also seem to have a low eagerness for risk-taking.Again,we found that the financial stability of a socially responsible bank is high and stable enough, which will help efficiently handle the bank’s financial risks, reduce price fluctuations, and increase financial assets that generally influence a bank’s monetary stability.Implications:Banks implementing fruitful CSR strategies can produce substantial shareholder advantages through high dividend payout levels. An expansion in CSR-related expenditure does not prompt a cut-down or reduce the portion of income paid out as dividends to shareholders. Therefore, the Output of our study will help provide critical information and a thorough understanding of corporate social responsibility and its association with the dividend policy, risk, and financial stability in the banking sector. This will also be useful to the researcher, students, and corporate policymakers while making a critical decision about whether a firm should make expenditures on CSR purposes, how it impacts a firm’s dividend decision, and its connection with its overall risk and financial stability.According to the study, corporate social responsibility should be integrated into a firm’s mission and strategy rather than appearing to be a mere act of generosity.Originality/Value:This study uniquely considers CSR,dividend policy, risk, and financial stability simultaneously in a developing country.Besides, the three-dimensional measures of CSR used in the research focused on developing the economy are a precious contribution.

文摘Application of novel radio technologies and equip-ment inevitably leads to electromagnetic pollution.One-dimensional polymer-based composite membrane structures have been shown to be an effective strategy to obtain high-performance microwave absorbers.Herein,we reported a one-dimensional N-doped carbon nanofibers material which encapsulated the hollow Co_(3)SnC_(0.7) nano-cubes in the fiber lumen by electrospinning.Space charge stacking formed between nanoparticles can be channeled by longitudinal fibrous structures. The dielectric constant of the fibers is highly related to the carbonization temperature, and the great impedance matching can be achieved by synergetic effect between Co_(3)SnC_(0.7) and carbon network. At 800℃,the necklace-like Co_(3)SnC_(0.7)/CNF with 5%low load achieves an excellent RL value of−51.2 dB at 2.3 mm and the effective absorption bandwidth of 7.44 GHz with matching thickness of 2.5 mm.The multiple electromagnetic wave(EMW)reflections and interfacial polarization between the fibers and the fibers internal contribute a major effect to attenuating the EMW.These strategies for regulating electromagnetic performance can be expanded to other electromagnetic functional materials which facilitate the development of emerging absorbers.

文摘Astrocytes and microglia play an orchestrated role following spinal cord injury;however, the molecular mechanisms through which microglia regulate astrocytes after spinal cord injury are not yet fully understood.Herein, microglia were pharmacologically depleted and the effects on the astrocytic response were examined. We further explored the potential mechanisms involving the signal transducers and activators of transcription 3(STAT3)pathway.For in vivo experiments,we constructed a contusion spinal cord injury model in C57BL/6 mice.To deplete microglia, all mice were treated with colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor inhibitor PLX3397,starting 2 weeks prior to surgery until they were sacrificed.Cell proliferation was examined by 5-ethynyl-2-deoxyuridine(EdU)and three pivotal inflammatory cytokines were detected by a specific Bio-Plex Pro^(TM) Reagent Kit.Locomotor function, neuroinflammation, astrocyte activation and phosphorylated STAT3(pSTAT3,a maker of activation of STAT3 signaling)levels were determined. For in vitro experiments,a microglia and astrocyte coculture system was established, and the small molecule STA21,which blocks STAT3 activation, was applied to investigate whether STAT3 signaling is involved in mediating astrocyte proliferation induced by microglia.PLX3397 administration disrupted glial scar formation, increased inflammatory spillover, induced diffuse tissue damage and impaired functional recovery after spinal cord injury.Microglial depletion markedly reduced EdU+proliferating cells, especially proliferating astrocytes at 7 days after spinal cord injury.RNA sequencing analysis showed that the JAK/STAT3 pathway was downregulated in mice treated with PLX3397.Double immunofluorescence staining confirmed that PLX3397 significantly decreased STAT3 expression in astrocytes.Importantly,in vitro coculture of astrocytes and microglia showed that microglia-induced astrocyte proliferation was abolished by STA21 administration. These findings suggest that microglial depletion impaired astrocyte proliferation and astrocytic scar formation, and induced inflammatory diffusion partly by inhibiting STAT3 phosphorylation in astrocytes following spinal cord injury.
文摘Disposing of coal gangue and fly-ash on the surface is a risky method with tremendous potential catastrophic consequences for the environment.Backfill mining is a promising practice for turning those hazardous wastes into functional backfill materi-als.Unfortunately,how to efficiently deliver the slurry to the desired places remains under-researched.To address this issue, the computational fluid dynamics software Fluent was used in the current study in addition to a laboratory rheological test to simulate the impact of various parameters on the evolution of pressure at a particular section of the pipeline.Furthermore, the response surface method was employed to investigate how the various components and their corresponding influencing weights interact to affect the pressure drop. This study demonstrates that the pressure drop of the slurry is highly influenced by slurry concentration, speed, and pipe diameter. While conveying speed is the main component in the bend section, pipe diameter takes over in the horizontal and vertical pipe sections.

文摘Bio-inspired computer modelling brings solutions fromthe living phenomena or biological systems to engineering domains. To overcome the obstruction problem of large-scale wind power consumption in Northwest China, this paper constructs a bio-inspired computer model. It is an optimal wind power consumption dispatching model of multi-time scale demand response that takes into account the involved high-energy load.First, the principle of wind power obstruction with the involvement of a high-energy load is examined in this work.In this step, highenergy load model with different regulation characteristics is established. Then, considering the multi-time scale characteristics of high-energy load and other demand-side resources response speed,a multi-time scale model of coordination optimization is built. An improved bio-inspired model incorporating particle swarm optimization is applied to minimize system operation and wind curtailment costs,as well as to find the most optimal energy configurationwithin the system.Lastly,we take an example of regional power grid in Gansu Province for simulation analysis. Results demonstrate that the suggested scheduling strategy can significantly enhance the wind power consumption level and minimize the system’s operational cost.

文摘During the chemotherapy of tumors, the cytotoxic effect of drugs is vital to kill tumor cells, and the delivery of a chemotherapeutic agent is of great importance for optimal therapeutic effects. The high in vivo clearance rate and low delivery efficiency of conventional chemotherapeutic agents affect the therapeutic effect. In recent years, the responsive drug delivery nanosystem has received increasing concern owing to its excellent biocompatibility, stable delivery performance, and controlled drug release strategies. To lucidly explain the cytocidal and immunotherapeutic effects of such responsive nanosystems in breast cancer, this review discusses the various stimuli and responses of drug-loaded liposomal nanosystems. The light/magnetic response of drug-loaded bionic membranes nanosystems and the heat/magnetic response of drug-loaded iron oxide nanosystems are also elaborated.Their cancer cell-killing efficacy and antitumor immunotherapeutic effects are also scrutinized.

文摘Objective:Nanoparticles(NPs)in haze are potentially hazardous to health, which is more severe in the winter.Brown adipose tissue(BAT)plays important roles in obesity, insulin resistance, and diabetes.Though the toxicology of NPs has been intensively studied, few studies have been reported on the antagonistic effects between Silicon dioxide(SiO_(2))NPs and cold exposure in brown adipocytes.Materials and methods:We evaluated changes by quantitative real-time reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)on metabolism genes, plasticity genes and the inflammatory responses genes in brown adipocytes in vitro. Results:The expression of adipogenic genes PRDM16,Dio2,PGC-1αand UCP1 was upregulated upon cold exposure(P<0.05),but downregulated by SiO_(2) NPs(P<0.05).The results demonstrated that there was antagonistic effect between SiO_(2) NPs and cold exposure on the plasticity genes and metabolism genes in brown adipocytes, where the main effects of SiO_(2) NPs or cold exposure on the plasticity genes and metabolism genes were significant(P<0.05).Moreover,the levels of interleukin(IL)-1β,IL-6 and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-αwere upregulated by SiO_(2) NPs or cold exposure(P<0.05).The factorial analysis indicated that there was also antagonistic effect between SiO_(2) NPs and cold exposure on the toxic effects in brown adipocytes,in which the main effects of cold exposure and/or SiO_(2) NPs on the toxic effects were significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:SiO_(2) NPs inhibit the effect of cold exposure on metabolic genes and inflammatory responses genes in brown adipocytes.
文摘With the economic development and multicultural exchange of ethnic villages, more and more ethnic villages have embarked on the road of tourism to become rich, but also brought the problem of ecological pollution.Few existing literatures discuss how to alleviate the ecological pollution in ethnic villages from the perspective of tourists’environmentally responsible behavior. In the context of ethnic villages, from the perspective of integration and the attitude-context-behavior theory, this paper constructs an EV-ABC-TERB model with four variables, namely environmental attitude, local atmosphere, emotional experience and tourists’environmentally responsible behavior,to explore the characteristics, influencing factors and influencing mechanism of tourists’environmental responsibility behavior in ethnic villages.Taking Xijiang Hmong Village as the research case, questionnaire survey method and structural equation model method were used. The results show that environmental attitude positively affects emotional experience and tourists’environmentally responsible behavior.Local atmosphere positively influences tourists’environmentally responsible behavior.Emotional experience negatively affects tourists’environmentally responsible behavior and plays an intermediary role in the way that environmental attitudes affect tourists’environmentally responsible behavior. The influence of environmental attitude on emotional experience is negatively regulated by local atmosphere. Finally, based on the analysis conclusion,it provides new ideas and inspiration for the sustainable development of the ethnic village tourism.

文摘The fifth intergovernmental negotiations on marine BBNJ(Biodiversity beyond Areas of National Jurisdiction)concluded in August 2022,in which there are still major differences regarding access to marine genetic resources, management, and technology transfer.China’s participation in the development of marine genetic resources in ABNJ(areas beyond national jurisdiction)has many dilemmas, which are linked to the difficulties faced in advancing the BBNJ negotiations. The following countermeasures are proposed at the institutional and practical levels respectively:clarifying the legal attributes and applicability of the principles of marine genetic resources;establishing mechanisms for access, management, environmental impact assessment and benefit sharing of marine genetic resources;and using the“Blue Partnership”to build a governance mechanism for marine genetic resources to achieve mutual benefits.

文摘Local ischemia often causes a series of inflammatory reactions when both brain immune cells and the peripheral immune response are activated. In the human body, the gut and lung are regarded as the key reactional targets that are initiated by brain ischemic attacks.Mucosal microorganisms play an important role in immune regulation and metabolism and affect blood-brain barrier permeability. In addition to the relationship between peripheral organs and central areas and the intestine and lung also interact among each other. Here,we review the molecular and cellular immune mechanisms involved in the pathways of inflammation across the gut-brain axis and lung-brain axis.We found that abnormal intestinal flora, the intestinal microenvironment, lung infection, chronic diseases, and mechanical ventilation can worsen the outcome of ischemic stroke. This review also introduces the influence of the brain on the gut and lungs after stroke, highlighting the bidirectional feedback effect among the gut, lungs, and brain.
文摘Bird impact is one of the most dangerous threats to flight safety. The numerical simulation verifies and complements the experiment results.

文摘Thermo-poro-mechanical responses along sliding zone/surface have been extensively studied. However,it has not been recognized that the potential contribution of other crucial engineering geological interfaces beyond the slip surface to progressive failure. Here,we aim to investigate the subsurface multiphysics of reservoir landslides under two extreme hydrologic conditions(i.e.wet and dry),particularly within sliding masses.Based on ultra-weak fiber Bragg grating(UWFBG)technology,we employ specialpurpose fiber optic sensing cables that can be implanted into boreholes as“nerves of the Earth”to collect data on soil temperature, water content, pore water pressure, and strain. The Xinpu landslide in the middle reach of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area in China was selected as a case study to establish a paradigm for in situ thermo-hydro-poro-mechanical monitoring. These UWFBG-based sensing cables were vertically buried in a 31 m-deep borehole at the foot of the landslide, with a resolution of 1 m except for the pressure sensor. We reported field measurements covering the period 2021 and 2022 and produced the spatiotemporal profiles throughout the borehole. Results show that wet years are more likely to motivate landslide motions than dry years. The annual thermally active layer of the landslide has a critical depth of roughly 9 m and might move downward in warmer years. The dynamic groundwater table is located at depths of 9e15 m,where the peaked strain undergoes a periodical response of leap and withdrawal to annual hydrometeorological cycles. These interface behaviors may support the interpretation of the contribution of reservoir regulation to slope stability, allowing us to correlate them to local damage events and potential global destabilization. This paper also offers a natural framework for interpreting thermo-hydro-poro-mechanical signatures from creeping reservoir bank slopes, which may form the basis for a landslide monitoring and early warning system.

文摘In the practical environment,it is very common for the simultaneous occurrence of base excitation and crosswind.Scavenging the combined energy of vibration and wind with a single energy harvesting structure is fascinating. For this purpose, the effects of the wind speed and random excitation level are investigated with the stochastic averaging method(SAM)based on the energy envelope. The results of the analytical prediction are verified with the Monte-Carlo method(MCM).The numerical simulation shows that the introduction of wind can reduce the critical excitation level for triggering an inter-well jump and make a bi-stable energy harvester(BEH)realize the performance enhancement for a weak base excitation. However,as the strength of the wind increases to a particular level, the influence of the random base excitation on the dynamic responses is weakened, and the system exhibits a periodic galloping response.A comparison between a BEH and a linear energy harvester(LEH)indicates that the BEH demonstrates inferior performance for high-speed wind.Relevant experiments are conducted to investigate the validity of the theoretical prediction and numerical simulation. The experimental findings also show that strong random excitation is favorable for the BEH in the range of low wind speeds. However,as the speed of the incoming wind is up to a particular level, the disadvantage of the BEH becomes clear and evident.

文摘Background:Solid organ transplant(SOT)activities, such as liver transplant, have been greatly influenced by the pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),a disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2).Immunosuppressed individuals of liver transplant recipients(LTRs)tend to have a high risk of COVID-19 infection and related complications.Therefore,COVID-19 vaccination has been recommended to be administered as early as possible in LTRs.Data sources:The keywords“liver transplant”,“SARS-CoV-2”,and“vaccine”were used to retrieve articles published in PubMed.Results:The antibody response following the 1st and 2nd doses of vaccination was disappointingly low,and the immune responses among LTRs remarkably improved after the 3rd or 4th dose of vaccination.Although the 3rd or 4th dose of COVID-19 vaccine increased the antibody titer,a proportion of patients remained unresponsive.Furthermore, recent studies showed that SARS-CoV-2 vaccine could trigger adverse events in LTRs,including allograft rejection and liver injury. Conclusions:This review provides the recently reported data on the antibody response of LTRs following various doses of vaccine, risk factors for poor serological response and adverse events after vaccination.
