To validate the method, a study of the short-range order in binary alloys with positive and negative exchange interactions is carried out. The network is trained on the data collected by Monte–Carlo simulations for a simple Ising-like binary alloy model and used to calculate the Warren–Cowley short-range order parameter and other thermodynamic properties. We demonstrate that the proposed method allows us not only to correctly reproduce the order parameters for the alloy concentration at which the network was trained, but can also predict them for any other concentrations.展开更多

Spike (S) protein is a major structural glycoprotein of the SARS virus and a potential target for SARS-specific cell-mediated immune responses. A pa nel of S protein-derived peptides was tested for their binding affinity to HLA -A *0201 molecules. Peptides with high affinity for HLA-A *0201 were then as se ssed for their capacity to elicit specific immune responses mediated by cytotoxi c T lymphocytes (CTLs) both in vivo, in HLA-A2.1/K b transgenic mice, a nd in vitro, from peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBLs) harvested from healthy HLA-A 2.1 + donors. SARS-CoV protein-derived peptide-1 (SSp-1 RLNEVAKNL), induced pepti de-specific CTLs both in vivo (transgenic mice) and in vitro (human PBL s), which specifically released interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma) upon stimulation with SSp-1-pulsed autologous dendritic cells (DCs) or T2 cells. SSp-1-specif ic CTLs also lysed major histocompatibility complex (MHC)-matched tumor cell lines engineered to express S proteins. HLA-A *0201-SSp-1 tetramer staining re vealed the presence of significant populations of SSp-1-specific CTLs in SSp- 1-induced CD8 + T cells. We propose that the newly identified epitope SSp-1 w ill help in the characterization of virus control mechanisms and immunopathology in SARS-CoV infection, and may be relevant to the development of immunotherape utic approaches for SARS.展开更多

The restricted water depth composite Green function is employed to develop a program for the computation of the hydrodynamic coefficients of the very large FPSO at shallow water. A three-segment model with 1∶100 scale is tested in the State Key Laboratory of Ocean Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University for the verification of the numerical method. The experimental and computational results show that the water depth has a substantial effect on wave-induced loads. The wave-induced vertical loads increase with the decrease of water depth for shallow water. Especially, for ultra-shallow water these loads increase very evidently with the decrease of water depth. The long-term prediction values of wave-induced vertical loads increase with the decrease of the ratio of water depth to draught. The long-term prediction values of wave-induced vertical loads are about 8% larger than those for deep water when the ratio of water depth to draught is 3.0. However, water depth hardly affects the long-term prediction values of wave-induced loads when the ratio of water depth to draught is larger than 5.0.展开更多

A peculiarity of the proposed implementation is the application of the so-called "moving-patch" method for simulating steady boundaries of large extensions. The method is based on an assumption that at any moment just the part of the boundary ("moving patch") which lies close to the interacting ship is significant for the near-field interaction. For a specific case of the fiat bottom, comparative computations were performed to determine optimal dimensions of the patch and of the constituting panels based on the trade-off between acceptable accuracy and reasonable efficiency. The method was applied to estimate the sway force on a ship hull moving obliquely across a dredged channel. The method was validated for a case of ship-to-ship interaction when tank data were available. This study also contains a description of a newly developed spline approximation algorithm necessary for creating consistent discretizations of ship hulls with various degrees of refinement.展开更多

Firstly, the unknown matrix perturbation information is utilized to form the WRTLS problem. Then, the corresponding constrained optimization problem is transformed into an unconstrained one, which is a generalized Rayleigh quotient minimization problem. Thus, the solution can be got through the generalized eigenvalue decomposition and requires no initial state guess process. Simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm can approach the Cramer-Rao lower bound (CRLB), and the localization solution is asymptotically unbiased.展开更多

Field trials using control cultivars were conducted at the Research Center for Cultivar Testing in Poland. For each species, different trial periods were selected in which new cultivars with ti/rb genes were registered. A breeding progress was estimated by a comparison of a new cultivar to control--bridge cultivar to the next trial period. Over the past twenty years cultivar improvement using ti/rb genes has proceeded differently in these species. The newest, self-completing legume cultivars have yields comparable to traditional ones and generally are earlier and more uniform when mature. This paper shows that breeding progress in rb yellow lupin is outstanding; in rb narrow-leafed lupin and ti field bean is favorable; and in rb white lupin is moderate.展开更多

文摘This paper proposes a new power grid investment prediction model based on the deep restricted Boltzmann machine(DRBM)optimized by the Lion algorithm(LA).Firstly, two factors including transmission and distribution price reform(TDPR)and 5G station construction were comprehensively incorporated into the consideration of influencing factors, and the fuzzy threshold method was used to screen out critical influencing factors. Then, the LA was used to optimize the parameters of the DRBM model to improve the model’s prediction accuracy, and the model was trained with the selected influencing factors and investment. Finally, the LA-DRBM model was used to predict the investment of a power grid enterprise, and the final prediction result was obtained by modifying the initial result with the modifying factors. The LA-DRBMmodel compensates for the deficiency of the singlemodel, and greatly improves the investment prediction accuracy of the power grid.In this study,a power grid enterprise was taken as an example to carry out an empirical analysis to prove the validity of the model, and a comparison with the RBM,support vector machine(SVM),back propagation neural network(BPNN),and regression model was conducted to verify the superiority of the model. The conclusion indicates that the proposed model has a strong generalization ability and good robustness,is able to abstract the combination of low-level features into high-level features, and can improve the efficiency of the model’s calculations for investment prediction of power grid enterprises.

文摘This paper presents a proper splitting iterative method for comparing the general restricted linear euqations Ax=b, x ∈T (where, b ∈AT, and T is an arbitrary but fixed subspace of Cm) and the generalized in AT,S For the special case when b ∈AT and dim(T)=dim(AT), this splitting iterative methverse AT,S hod converges to AT,Sb (the unique solution of the general restricted system Ax=bx ∈T).
文摘This review article aims to give a comprehensive review of periodic orbits in the circular restricted three-body problem(CRTBP),which is a standard ideal model for the Earth-Moon system and is closest to the practical mechanical model. It focuses the attention on periodic orbits in the Earth-Moon system. This work is primarily motivated by a series of missions and plans that take advantages of the three-body periodic orbits near the libration points or around two gravitational celestial bodies.Firstly, simple periodic orbits and their classification that is usually considered to be early work before 1970 are summarized, and periodic orbits around Lagrange points, either planar or three-dimensional,are intensively studied during past decades.Subsequently, stability index of a periodic orbit and bifurcation analysis are presented, which demonstrate a guideline to find more periodic orbits inspired by bifurcation signals. Then, the practical techniques for computing a wide range of periodic orbits and associated quasi-periodic orbits,as well as constructing database of periodic orbits by numerical searching techniques are also presented. For those unstable periodic orbits, the station keeping maneuvers are reviewed. Finally, the applications of periodic orbits are presented, including those in practical missions, under consideration, and still in conceptual design stage. This review article has the function of bridging between engineers and researchers,so as to make it more convenient and faster for engineers to understand the complex restricted three-body problem(RTBP).At the same time,it can also provide some technical thinking for general researchers.

文摘A restricted edge cut is an edge cut of a connected graph whose removal resultsin a disconnected graph without isolated vertices. The size of a minimum restricted edge cutof a graph G is called its restricted edge connectivity, and is denoted by λ′(G). Let ξ(G) bethe minimum edge degree of graph G. It is known that λ′(G) ≤ξ(G) if G contains restrictededge cuts. Graph G is called maximal restricted edge connected if the equality holds in thethe preceding inequality. In this paper, undirected Kautz graph UK(2, n) is proved to bemaximal restricted edge connected if n ≥ 2.

文摘A novel multi-observer passive localization algorithm based on the weighted restricted total least square (WRTLS) is proposed to solve the bearings-only localization problem in the presence of observer position errors. Simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm can approach the Cramer-Rao lower bound (CRLB), and the localization solution is asymptotically unbiased.

文摘This review deals with restricted Boltzmann machine(RBM) under the light of statistical physics. The RBM is a classical family of machine learning(ML) models which played a central role in the development of deep learning.Viewing it as a spin glass model and exhibiting various links with other models of statistical physics,we gather recent results dealing with mean-field theory in this context.First the functioning of the RBM can be analyzed via the phase diagrams obtained for various statistical ensembles of RBM,leading in particular to identify a compositional phase where a small number of features or modes are combined to form complex patterns. Then we discuss recent works either able to devise mean-field based learning algorithms;either able to reproduce generic aspects of the learning process from some ensemble dynamics equations or/and from linear stability arguments.
文摘The objective of this paper is to present a new ideotype of grain legume cultivar and show improvements in breeding from the introduction of the terminal inflorescence (ti) gene in field bean, and the introduction of the restricted branching (rb) gene in three lupin crops--narrow-leafed lupin, white lupin and yellow lupin. This paper shows that breeding progress in rb yellow lupin is outstanding; in rb narrow-leafed lupin and ti field bean is favorable; and in rb white lupin is moderate.
