Review and Outlook of China's Oil Market in 2015

Growth rate of oil demand rose again in China in the first half of 2015. Demand for oil products went on differentiating, and the demand growth of most products sped up. Growth rate of oil production rose again, oil imports increased rapidly, and external dependence of crude oil and oil broke through 60% separately. The State adjusted the prices of gasoline and diesel timely and frequently, based on pricing mechanism. Price hike was higher than reduction. Oil market got weak, yet more stable. China increased the pace of reforms in marketization. In the second half, oil demand will increase continuously but with lower growth rate, oil production will rise more slowly, imports of crude oil and oil will keep on rising rapidly, gasoline and kerosene as well as diesel will witness a net import, and the market of gasoline, kerosene and diesel will be more stable.

The Road to Rio+20 is the journey of countries in the world pursuing the sustainable development.As the first country to release the national Agenda 21,China's experience and lessons are of great significance for both China itself and other countries.The paper reviews the progress made and problems remained in pursuing the sustainable development in China with regard to policy formulation,institutional arrangements,planning and management.In the past five years,the mandatory targets-driven approach,which focused on energy efficiency and key pollutants reduction,played a very important role and made China comprehensive outcomes for sustainability.In order to achieve the targets,China adopted an integrated policy package including legal,administrative,economic and technology instruments.During the 12th Five-Year Plan period(2011-2015),China will continue and strengthen the approach above and mainstream the transformation of economic development pattern through realizing the idea of green and low-carbon development.By summarizing policy trends in the world,the paper points out two directions,i.e.,integration approach and taking prioritized and concrete actions for a sustainable future beyond 2012.The paper also presents policy approaches and recommendations for sustainable development in the next 10 years in China.

During the past decade,China’s petroleum industry had experienced an extraordinary process,the development of domestic oil supply and demand was unbalanced.China’s oil consumption continues to grow with a compound annual growth rate of 5.1%,making China the world’s second largest oil consumer,the share of oil in primary energy consumption mix increased steadily and accounted for 20%in 2019.Oil proved reserves increased grow at a low rate with a compound annual growth rate of 2.1%from 2008 to 2018.China’s proved reserve ranked the 14th in the world in 2019.Oil production increased and exceeded 200 million in 2010,reached the historical peak in 2015,and then continued to decline from 2016 to 2018.China’s Oil imports are growing rapidly and its import dependency has continued to rise.In 2017,China surpassed the United States to become the world’s largest oil importer.In the past decade,the import dependency had increased by more than 20%and reached nearly 72%in 2019.

An Online Fake Review Detection Approach Using Famous Machine Learning Algorithms

Online review platforms are becoming increasingly popular,encouraging dishonest merchants and service providers to deceive customers by creating fake reviews for their goods or services.Using Sybil accounts,bot farms,and real account purchases,immoral actors demonize rivals and advertise their goods.Most academic and industry efforts have been aimed at detecting fake/fraudulent product or service evaluations for years.The primary hurdle to identifying fraudulent reviews is the lack of a reliable means to distinguish fraudulent reviews from real ones.This paper adopts a semi-supervised machine learning method to detect fake reviews on any website,among other things.Online reviews are classified using a semi-supervised approach(PU-learning)since there is a shortage of labeled data,and they are dynamic.Then,classification is performed using the machine learning techniques Support Vector Machine(SVM)and Nave Bayes.The performance of the suggested system has been compared with standard works,and experimental findings are assessed using several assessment metrics.

Dilemmas and Optimization of Third-Party Assessment System in Chinese Fair Competition Review

The current predominant self-review mechanism by policy-making bodies suffers from deficiencies such as insufficient motivations, limited review capabilities, and weak external supervision. Third-party assessment, characterized by independence and specialization, is designed to mitigate these shortcomings. However, the implementation of third-party assessment faces challenges too. This paper intends to improve the third-party assessment system and to realize the legislative purpose of the system. Based on social research, discussions and exchanges with relevant parties, and the existing research results, this paper analyzes the challenges and possible optimization measures for the third-party assessment. The challenges include repulsion from policy-making bodies, insufficient independence of assessment bodies, disparity of assessment quality, and limited application of assessment outcomes. Possible optimization measures include promoting fair competition culture, increasing the acceptance of third-party assessment from policy-making bodies, enhancing the quality of third-party assessment, clarifying the relationship between policy-making bodies and assessment bodies, ensuring the independence of third-party assessments, and promoting the application of assessment results.
