The thesis analyzes problems in exploiting and utilizing water resources, defines the function zoning of groundwater resources in key areas and evaluates them. Finally, the thesis uses three-dimensional unsteady flow simulation and regional social and economic development plan to study on the allocation of groundwater in Shule River Basin. Considering the ecosystem continuity and river function integrality, a river is suggested to be divided into five function zones: ecological protection zone, habitat restoration zone, exploitation and utilization zone, buffer zone,and transition zone, based on the developed intensity and the function characteristics of the river. In this paper, not only the five function zones were described qualitatively, but also the quantitative examination method on how to identify their function zone types was given. A double-criterion partitioning scheme was proposed according to the functional zoning diagram constructed by the evaluation of the social and ecological function of rivers. Finally, the procedures of river function regionalization were shown.展开更多

Water function classification is to divide the waters in a basin or a region into different water function regions according to the natural features such as water resources condition, physical geographical location, e...Water function classification is to divide the waters in a basin or a region into different water function regions according to the natural features such as water resources condition, physical geographical location, environmental condition, etc. and social features such as the status quo of development and utilization, the requirement of social and economic development on water quantity and quality etc. Water function division has not ever been carried out in China and no ready-made theory and method can be complied with, in the meantime, it is a fundamental work with strong practical function. Therefore, the basic concept and theory foundation and research method are put forward on the base of summary of water resources management and developed and will be perfected in practice process of water function division. The Yangtze function zone covers the Yangtze river basin, the Lancang river basin and the rivers in the western area of the Lancang river in Southwest China. According to the technical outline of national water function division and combined with division practice of the Yangtze function zone, this paper presents the scope determination, procedure and method of water function division.展开更多
This research analyzes the culture-loaded words in English version of Tales of Hulan River bases on functional equivalence theory.The major point is what strategies Howard Goldblatt uses to achieve the equivalences in...This research analyzes the culture-loaded words in English version of Tales of Hulan River bases on functional equivalence theory.The major point is what strategies Howard Goldblatt uses to achieve the equivalences in semantic message,stylistic message,cultural message and response of readers,and the reasons why he uses them.This thesis contains four chapters,starting with the background,significances and the organization of the research.Chapter two introduces Tales of Hulan River as well as Xiao Hong and Howard Goldblatt,as well as the functional equivalence theory.To analyze the translation strategies of Goldblatt,chapter three divided the culture-loaded words into three categories,which is dialect,custom and proverb respectively,in this translation work of Tales of Hulan River from the perspective of functional equivalence theory.Last one is conclusion,summarizing the whole research.This paper highlights the translating of this novel into different languages and the spreading of Chinese culture.展开更多

Such analysis of RBFNs for hydrological modelling has previously been limited to exploring perturbations to both inputs and connecting weights. In this paper, the backward chaining rule that has been used for sensitivity analysis of MLPs, is applied to RBFNs and it is shown how such analysis can provide insight into physical relationships. A trigonometric example is first presented to show the effectiveness and accuracy of this approach for first order derivatives alongside a comparison of the results with an equivalent MLP. The paper presents a real-world application in the modelling of river stage shows the importance of such approaches helping to justify and select such models.</span> </div>展开更多
