The main contributions lie in two aspects. Firstly, under near-hovering condition,a procedure is presented for simplification of the highly nonlinear and under-actuated model of the model-scale helicopter. This nonlinear system is linearized around the trim values of the chosen flight mode, followed by decomposing this high-order linear model into three lower-order subsystems according to the coupling properties among channels. After decomposition, the three subsystems are obtained which include the coupling subsystem between the roll( pitch) motion and the lateral( longitudinal) motion, the subsystem of the yaw motion and the subsystem of the vertical motion. Secondly,by using eigenstructure assignment, the problem of flight controller design can be converted into solving two optimization problems and the linear robust controllers of these subsystems are designed through solving these optimization problems. Besides, this paper contrasts and analyzed the performances of the LQR controller and the parametric controller. The results demonstrate the effectiveness and the robustness against the parametric perturbations of the parametric controller.展开更多

The designed fixed-order supplementary damping controller adjusts the voltage reference set point of SVC. There are two main objectives of the controller design, damping low frequencies oscillations and enhancing power system stability. This method relies on shaping the closed-loop sensitivity functions in the Nyquist plot under the constraints of these functions. These constraints can be linearized by choosing a desired open-loop transfer function. The robust controller is designed to minimize the error between the open-loop of the original plant model and the desired transfer functions. These outcomes can be achieved by using convex optimization methods. Convexity of the problem formulation ensures global optimality. One of the advantages of the proposed approach is that the approach accounts for multi-model uncertainty. In contrast to the methods available in the literature, the proposed approach deals with full-order model (i.e., model reduction is not required) with lower controller order. The issue of time delay of feedback signals has been addressed in this paper for different values of time delay by applying a multi-model optimization technique. The proposed approach is compared to other existing techniques to design a robust controller which is based on H2 under pole placement. Both techniques are applied to the 68-bus system to evaluate and validate the robust controller performance under different load scenarios and different wind generations.展开更多

The probability distribution of packet loss is described as the Bernoulli distributed white sequences. The model set and controller set are designed by robust control theory and the characteristics of robust control system are taken into account. A new kind of switching index function by estimating uncertainty is designed. Furthermore, stability of the closed system is analyzed by the small gain theorem in the sense of exponentially weighted L2 norm. A sufficient condition for existing a model-reference zero-error asymptotic tracking controller is given. It is shown that the robust model reference control problem can be decomposed into two subproblems: a robust state feedback stabilization problem for descriptor systems subject to parameter uncertainties and a robust compensation problem. The latter aims to find three coefficient matrices which satisfy four matrix equations and simultaneously minimize the effect of the uncertainties to the tracking error. Based on a complete parametric solution to a class of generalized Sylvester matrix equations, the robust compensation problem is converted into a minimization problem with quadratic cost and linear constraints. A numerical example shows the effect of the proposed approach.展开更多

文摘Effective source-load prediction and reasonable dispatching are crucial to realize the economic and reliable operations of integrated energy systems(IESs).They can overcome the challenges introduced by the uncertainties of new energies and various types of loads in the IES.Accordingly,a robust optimal dispatching method for the IES based on a robust economic model predictive control(REMPC)strategy considering source-load power interval prediction is proposed.First,an operation model of the IES is established, and an interval prediction model based on the bidirectional long short-term memory network optimized by beetle antenna search and bootstrap is formulated and applied to predict the photovoltaic power and the cooling, heating, and electrical loads. Then,an optimal dispatching scheme based on REMPC is devised for the IES.The source-load interval prediction results are used to improve the robustness of the REPMC and reduce the influence of source-load uncertainties on dispatching. An actual IES case is selected to conduct simulations;the results show that compared with other prediction techniques, the proposed method has higher prediction interval coverage probability and prediction interval normalized averaged width. Moreover, the operational cost of the IES is decreased by the REMPC strategy. With the devised dispatching scheme, the ability of the IES to handle the dispatching risk caused by prediction errors is enhanced.Improved dispatching robustness and operational economy are also achieved.

文摘Because of the tire nonlinearity and vehicle's parameters'uncertainties, robust control methods based on the worst cases, such as H_∞,μsynthesis,have been widely used in active front steering control, however,in order to guarantee the stability of active front steering system(AFS)controller, the robust control is at the cost of performance so that the robust controller is a little conservative and has low performance for AFS control. In this paper,a generalized internal model robust control(GIMC)that can overcome the contradiction between performance and stability is used in the AFS control. In GIMC,the Youla parameterization is used in an improved way.And GIMC controller includes two sections:a high performance controller designed for the nominal vehicle model and a robust controller compensating the vehicle parameters'uncertainties and some external disturbances.Simulations of double lane change(DLC)maneuver and that of braking on split-μroad are conducted to compare the performance and stability of the GIMC control, the nominal performance PID controller and the H_∞controller.Simulation results show that the high nominal performance PID controller will be unstable under some extreme situations because of large vehicle's parameters variations,H_∞controller is conservative so that the performance is a little low,and only the GIMC controller overcomes the contradiction between performance and robustness, which can both ensure the stability of the AFS controller and guarantee the high performance of the AFS controller. Therefore, the GIMC method proposed for AFS can overcome some disadvantages of control methods used by current AFS system, that is,can solve the instability of PID or LQP control methods and the low performance of the standard H_∞controller.

文摘A new hierarchical switching control system of multiple models based on robust control theory is designed for some plant with large uncertainties. And simulation is done on a plant with both parameter uncertainty and un-modeled dynamics. Both theoretical analysis and simulation results show that this new hierarchical switching control system can control the plant with large uncertainties effectively and has good performance of tracking and stability.

文摘Robust model-reference control for descriptor linear systems with structural parameter uncertainties is investigated. A numerical example shows the effect of the proposed approach.
