Escape room游戏宣教对阴道分娩初产妇分娩恐惧及产程进展的影响

目的探究Escape room游戏宣教对阴道分娩初产妇分娩恐惧及产程进展的影响。方法采用便利抽样法,选取本院2021年1月—2022年6月收治的140例阴道分娩初产妇为研究对象,按随机数字表法将其分为对照组和观察组,每组各70例。对照组采取常规教育模式,观察组在常规护理基础上应用Escape room游戏宣教,比较两组初产妇分娩恐惧水平、产程进展。结果观察组分娩恐惧中高水平初产妇占比为57.14%小于对照组的80.00%,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);观察组初产妇第一产程时间、第二产程时间均短于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),两组第三产程时间比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论Escape room游戏宣教在阴道分娩初产妇中的应用,能缓解产妇分娩恐惧情绪,可一定程度上加快产程进展。

Epidemiological Aspects of Stillbirth and Neonatal Deaths in the Delivery Room at the Libreville Mother-Child University Hospital from 2019 to 2022

Introduction: Stillbirths are estimated at 2 million each year, of which more than 40% occur during labour. Our objective was to study the epidemiological aspects of stillbirth and neonatal deaths in the delivery room in our health facility. Patients and methods: Prospective, descriptive and analytical study, conducted at the Jeanne Ebori Foundation Mother-Child University Hospital over 4 years (January 2019-December 2022). All neonatal deaths in the delivery room or foetal death in utero, were included. Results: Among the 18,346 deliveries performed, 512 newborns were declared dead in the delivery room (27.9‰ live births), divided into in utero foetal death (19.0‰) and immediate neonatal death (8.9‰). The mean age was 34.3 weeks of amenorrhea. The rate of preterm birth was 60.4%. The sex ratio was 1.1. The average weight was 2186.6. The main causes were vascular (46.1%), foetal (20.2%), adnexal (17.1%) and asphyxia per partum (16.6%). Foetal causes were more likely to result in IUFD than other causes (OR = 6.4 [2.4 - 15.7], p < 0.001). After birth, partum asphyxia was more likely to lead to death before 15 minutes of life than other causes (OR = 11 [6.1 - 18.9], p Conclusion: The causes of stillbirth and early neonatal mortality are dominated by maternal vascular pathologies. However, the proportion of childbirth-related causes remains worrying. Better monitoring of pregnancy and labour will minimize this prevalence in our hospital.

Prospective randomized study to evaluate and compare the post-procedural sexual function in patients undergoing semi-rigid ureterorenoscopy for distal ureteric stones in three different operating room settings

Objective:To evaluate and compare the effect of semi-rigid ureterorenoscopy on post-procedural sexual function with three different operating room settings.Methods:In this prospective randomized study,consecutive sexually active patients with normal pre-operative sexual function undergoing uncomplicated semi-rigid ureterorenoscopy for distal ureteric stones were randomized into three groups,with three different operating room settings.Procedure-related anxiety and sexual function were assessed pre-operatively using Amsterdam Preoperative Anxiety and Information Scale and Brief Sexual Function Inventory(in males)and Female Sexual Function Index-6(in females),respectively.All the participants were stented following the procedure,and the stent was removed after 3 weeks.Post-procedural sexual function and general discomfort were assessed and compared between three groups at 1 week,3 weeks,and 12 weeks.The effect of surgery-related anxiety,preoperative sexual function,age,and general discomfort(including stent-related discomfort)on post-procedural sexual function were analyzed using multiple regression analysis.A p-value of less than 0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results:Totally,327 eligible patients were randomized into three groups.The group of patients who underwent the procedural with a screen separating the operating area from the patient vision,while the patient could watch the endoscopy through a separate monitor,had better post-procedural sexual function compared to those who had total vision of the operating area as well as to those whose eyes were blocked.This difference was statistically significant.This post-procedural reduction in sexual function could not be attributed to in situ stent alone.Conclusions:Our study showed that semi-rigid ureterorenoscopy can have significant negative effect on sexual function,which can be reduced with proper preoperative counseling and an ideal operating room settings.

The Impact of Optimizing Details in the Operating Room on the Level of Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice of Hospital Infection Prevention and Control by Surgeons, as Well as the Effectiveness of Infection Control

Objective: This paper aims to explore the impact of optimizing details in the operating room on the level of knowledge, attitude, and practice of hospital infection prevention and control by surgeons, as well as the effectiveness of infection control. Methods: From January 2022 to June 2023, a total of 120 patients were screened and randomly divided into a control group (routine care and hospital infection management) and a study group (optimizing details in the operating room). Results: Significant differences were found between the two groups in the data of surgeons’ level of knowledge, attitude, and practice in hospital infection prevention and control, infection rates, and nursing satisfaction, with the study group showing better results (P Conclusion: The use of optimizing details in the operating room among surgeons can effectively improve surgeons’ level of knowledge, attitude, and practice in hospital infection prevention and control, reduce infection occurrence, and is worth promoting.

Correlation between critical thinking and emotional intelligence:a national crosssectional study on operating room nursing students in Iran

Objective:According to the World Federation of Medical Education,critical thinking should be part of the training of medical and paramedical students.Professionals can improve the quality of care of patients after surgery by having or acquiring this skill in health care.Also,Emotional intelligence is introduced as an impor tant and effective factor on the professional performance and mental health of healthcare professionals.Thus,the present study was designed and implemented to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and critical thinking among operating room nursing students of medical sciences universities in Iran.Methods:This cross-sectional study was done on 420 operating room students in 10 top medical sciences universities of Iran in 2022.The sampling method in this research was multistage sampling.The data collection instruments included demographic characteristics,Rickett's critical thinking,and Bradberry-Greaves'emotional intelligence questionnaires.After receiving the ethics code,data collection was done for 2 months.For data analysis,descriptive and inferential analyses including independent t-tests,analysis of variance,and Pearson correlation were used.The collected data were analyzed by SPSS 18(IBM Corporation,Armonk,New York,United States).P-value<0.05 was considered significant.Results:The mean age of the students participating in this study was 23.02±3.70 years,with women constituting 67.4%of them.The results of data analysis indicated that the mean total score of critical thinking and emotional intelligence was 124.10±37.52 and 114.12±43.63,respectively.A direct significant correlation between critical thinking and emotional intelligence(r=0.459,P-value<0.001)and a significant relationship between gender and emotional intelligence(P-value=0.028)were found.Conclusions:Based on the present study results,educational managers in the Ministry of Health are suggested to consider suitable educational programs for improving critical thinking and emotional intelligence to enhance the quality of care provided by students in operating rooms.

Operating Room Nurses’ Role in Multidisciplinary Surgical Coordination for a Patient with a Large Abdominal Tumor and Multiple Pelvic Fractures

In this study,we have summarized the coordination of operating room nurses participating in the multidisciplinary team in diagnosing and treating a patient with a large abdominal tumor and multiple pelvic fractures.To perform surgical treatment on patients with various conditions,it is crucial to consider the patients from a holistic perspective.Thus,the existing medical model has shifted from a“disease-centered”approach focusing on single-disciplinary diagnosis and treatment,to a“patient-centered”approach that involves multiple disciplines in diagnosis and therapy.Operating room nurses,as crucial collaborators of surgeons,should make necessary adjustments to enhance their comprehension of patients,improving the overall quality of surgical coordination.

Application of Nursing Cooperation Path in Operating Room and Analysis of Complication Rate During Laparoscopic Hysterectomy

Objective:To explore the clinical benefits achieved by implementing the operating room nursing cooperation path for patients undergoing laparoscopic hysterectomy.Methods:64 laparoscopic hysterectomy cases were divided into groups according to the order of admission.The control group received routine perioperative care.The observation group implemented the nursing cooperation path in the operating room on the same basis as the control group.The two groups’physiological responses,stimulus indicators,anxiety,and complication rates were compared.Results:The heart rate,blood pressure 0.5 hours after surgery,anxiety scores 1 day before and 3 days after surgery,and the total number of complications in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The development of a nursing cooperation path in the operating room can help patients undergoing laparoscopic hysterectomy reduce heart rate,blood pressure,stress responses,and the risk of complications,and is worthy of promotion.

The Impact of Patient Education on the Nursing Care of Perioperative Patients in the Interventional Catheterization Room

Objective:To explore and analyze the effect of implementing a precise education model on the nursing care of perioperative patients in the interventional catheterization room.Methods:We selected 70 patients who were going to undergo surgical intervention in our hospital from August 2020 to December 2022 as the subjects for this study through random sampling.The patients were divided into a control group and an observation group,with 35 cases in each group.The control group underwent basic nursing intervention,and the observation group was given precise patient education.The nursing effects of both groups were observed.Results:After the intervention,all compliance indicators of the observation group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).Besides,the incidence of complications in the observation group(2.86%)was lower than that of the control group(17.14%)with P<0.05.Furthermore,the patient satisfaction of the observation group(97.14%)was higher than that of the control group(82.86%),with P<0.05.Conclusion:A precise propaganda and education model facilitates the nursing of perioperative patients in the interventional catheterization room.Therefore,this practice should be popularized.

The Preventive Effect of Comprehensive Nursing Intervention on Arteriovenous Fistula Failure in Patients in the Hemodialysis Room

Objective:To explore the preventive effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on arteriovenous fistula failure in patients in the hemodialysis room.Methods:82 patients with arteriovenous fistula in the hemodialysis chamber treated in our hospital from July 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the research subjects.The random number table method divided them into a control group and an experimental group of 41 cases each.The control group received general nursing intervention measures,while the experimental group underwent comprehensive nursing intervention.The incidence of complications(internal fistula failure,bleeding,thrombosis,infection),psychological emotions(SAS scale,SDS scale),quality of life(physical pain,physiological function,emotional function,social function),and nursing satisfaction(very satisfied,basically satisfied,satisfied,dissatisfied)were compared between the two groups of patients.Results:The incidence of complications in the experimental group(4,9.76%)was significantly lower than that in the control group(29,70.73%);the SAS scores and SDS scores of the patients in the experimental group after intervention were both lower than those in the control group;the quality of life score(physical pain,physiological function,emotional function,and social function)was all higher than those of the control group;the post-intervention nursing satisfaction of the experimental group(40,97.57%)was also significantly higher than that of the control group(29,73.17%);and the listed differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion:For patients with hemodialysis ventricular arteriovenous fistula failure,comprehensive nursing intervention can reduce the incidence of complications,relieve anxiety and stress,improve quality of life and nursing satisfaction,and achieve better preventive effects.

Influence of Surrounding Structures upon the Aerodynamic and Acoustic Performance of the Outdoor Unit of a Split Air-Conditioner

DC-inverter split air-conditioner is widely used in Chinese homes as a result of its high-efficiency and energy-saving. Recently, the researches on its outdoor unit have focused on the influence of surrounding structures upon the aerodynamic and acoustic performance, however they are only limited to the influence of a few parameters on the performance, and practical design of the unit requires more detailed parametric analysis. Three-dimensional computational fluid dynamics（CFD） and computational aerodynamic acoustics（CAA） simulation based on FLUENT solver is used to study the influence of surrounding structures upon the aforementioned properties of the unit. The flow rate and sound pressure level are predicted for different rotating speed, and agree well with the experimental results. The parametric influence of three main surrounding structures（i.e. the heat sink, the bell-mouth type shroud and the outlet grille） upon the aerodynamic performance of the unit is analyzed thoroughly. The results demonstrate that the tip vortex plays a major role in the flow fields near the blade tip and has a great effect on the flow field of the unit. The inlet ring＇s size and throat＇s depth of the bell-mouth type shroud, and the through-flow area and configuration of upwind and downwind sections of the outlet grille are the most important factors that affect the aerodynamic performance of the unit. Furthermore, two improved schemes against the existing prototype of the unit are developed, which both can significantly increase the flow rate more than 6 %（i.e. 100 m3·h～（-1）） at given rotating speeds. The inevitable increase of flow noise level when flow rate is increased and the advantage of keeping a lower rotating speed are also discussed. The presented work could be a useful guideline in designing the aerodynamic and acoustic performance of the split air-conditioner in engineering practice.

Effect of air-conditioner exposure on semen quality

Aim: To investigate the effect of air-conditioner exposure on semen quality. Methods: The data came from the healthy male volunteers, aged 22 to 30 years, who went to centers for maternity and children health for premarital physical examination in Shanghai, Henan, Zhejiang and Hebei from December 1998 to February 2000. The sampling size is 304. Results: Among the subjects, 90 (29.6 %) had air-conditioner at home and the rest did not. X2-test and multiple logistic regression analyses showed that, the difference between the exposure and control groups was statistically significant in semen volume, sperm density and proportion of sperm with normal morphology. The three indexes were lower in the exposure group. Conclusion: Air-conditioner exposure possibly influences the semen quality.

Composite polymer electrolyte reinforced by graphitic carbon nitride nanosheets for room-temperature all-solid-state lithium batteries

By virtue of the flexibility and safety, polyethylene oxide(PEO) based electrolytes are regarded as an appealing candidate for all-solid-state lithium batteries. However, their application is limited by the poor ionic conductivity at room temperature, narrow electrochemical stability window and uncontrolled growth of lithium dendrite. To alleviate these problems, we introduce the ultrathin graphitic carbon nitride nanosheets(GCN) as advanced nanofillers into PEO based electrolytes(GCN-CPE). Benefiting from the high surface area and abundant surface N-active sites of GCN, the GCN-CPE displays decreased crystallinity and enhanced ionic conductivity. Meanwhile, Fourier transform infrared and chronoamperometry studies indicate that GCN can facilitate Li+migration in the composite electrolyte. Additionally, the GCN-CPE displays an extended electrochemical window compared with PEO based electrolytes. As a result, Li symmetric battery assembled with GCN-CPE shows a stable Li plating/stripping cycling performance, and the all-solid-state Li/LiNi_(0.6)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.2)O_(2)(NCM622) batteries using GCN-CPE exhibit satisfactory cyclability and rate capability in a voltage range of 3-4.2 V at 30 ℃.

Environmentally Friendly Room Temperature Synthesis of 1-Tetralone over Layered Double Hydroxide-Hosted Sulphonato-Salen-Nickel(II) Complex

1-Tetralone, a useful synthetic intermediate in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and dyes, can be prepared by liquid phase catalytic oxidation of tetralin. Selective oxidation of tetralin to 1-tetralone is still a big challenge with low-temperature processes using environmentally friendly routes even after decades of research. Herein, we demonstrate room-temperature oxidation of tetralin to 1-tetralone over layered double hydroxide-hosted sulphonato-salen-nickel(II) complex, LDH-[Ni-salen]. The layered double hydroxide-hosted sulphonato-salen-nickel(II) compound was characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR), UV-Visible diffuse reflectance spectra, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and elemental analysis. The theoretical calculations of free sulphonato-salen-nickel(II) complex using Density Functional Theory/CAM-B3LYP at the 6-311++ G(d,p) level of theory were also used to determine the orientation of the Ni-salen compound within the layered structure. The immobilized compound, LDH-[Ni-salen] was found to be an effective reusable catalyst for the oxidation of tetralin to 1-tetralone using a combination of trimethylacetaldehyde and molecular oxygen (14.5 psi) and at 25&deg;C. At 45.5% conversion, tetralin was converted to 1-tetralone with 77.2% selectivity at room temperature and atmospheric pressure after 24 h. The catalyst recycles test and hot filtration experiment showed that oxidation proceeded through Ni(II) sites in LDH-[Ni-salen]. The catalysts were reused several times without losing their catalytic activity and selectivity. The present results may provide a convenient strategy for the preparation of 1-tetralone using layered double hydroxide-based heterogeneous catalyst at ambient temperature for industrial application in near future.

A Smart Room to Promote Autonomy of Disabled People due to Stroke

A cerebral vascular accident,known as common language stroke,is one of the main causes of mortality and remains the primary cause of acquired disabilities in adults.Those disabled people spend most of their time at home in their living rooms.In most cases,appliances of a living room(TV,light,cooler/heater,window blinds,etc.)are generally controlled by direct manipulation of a set of remote controls.Handling many remote controls can be disturbing and inappropriate for these people.In addition,in many cases these people could be alone at home and must open the door for visitors after their identification by either moving to the door or using an intercom system which requires in both cases a physical activity.Furthermore,these people need a continuous health monitoring especially blood pressure to avoid a recurrent stroke.Smart spaces and assisted technologies would be beneficial to assist person with disabilities to live indepen-dently,enhance their quality of life and empower their autonomy.A complete sys-tem which improves and facilitates the daily life and covers all aspects such as appliances automation,appropriate interaction mode and health monitoring of these people is still lacking.The aim of this work is to create a safe and high-quality living environment for persons with disabilities to enable them to live more independently by automating the operation of a living room appliances according to the current context without the need to use remote control devices,the use of a suitable interaction modality with appliances that require direct interaction and a remote health monitoring system which can alert relatives and caregivers in case of an emergency.

Evaluation of Operating Room Noise by Different Medical Specialists

Noise pollution is in an increasing trend in the operating rooms, as has been the case in various other domains in life. It has been shown in studies that the main cause of this noise pollution consist of the behavior related to the operating room personel and the surgical equipment. These higher than normal noise levels may increase stress and decrease communication and performance, apart from the negative health effects on the operating team. In this study, we aimed to explore the sources of noise pollution and the place of music on these effects on anesthesiology and surgical doctors. Questions formulated through a questionnaire have been asked to the anesthesiology and surgical department physicians on a voluntary basis, and their approach to the concept of noise has been assessed. The study was planned as a descriptive study. In total, highest impact from noise pollution was found to be the aspirator (74.3%), chatting (55.4%), noises from the monitors (54.8%), alarms (48.6%), surgical material (25.9%) and music (23.8%). Noise had the most impact on the concentration of the doctors with a rate of 61.9%. Anesthesiologists, when compared to other surgical department physicians, were found to be impacted most by music with 37.2%. It is not realistic to eliminate all the noise and distraction. On the other hand, it can be minimalized through sufficient measures. Yet, general measures to keep the silence isn’t too likely to keep the noise down during long operations. Whereas music stays as a matter of personal choice. Controlled studies on whether to keep or not the music in the operating rooms aren’t yet sufficient, due to which, general recommendations do not apply. As a result of this study, we have found that while music might have performance increasing effects, it still has a potential as a distraction and interfere with the communication in the operating room.

Influence of Robot-Assisted Tumor Surgery Nursing on Patient Rehabilitation in Operating Room and Discussion on Nursing Strategies

Objective: To evaluate the effect of operating room nursing on the outcome of patients undergoing robot-assisted tumor surgery. Methods: This research starts from October 2021 to October 2022. The number of patients with robot-assisted tumor surgery included in our hospital is 769. The patients are treated in the operating room, and the prognosis of the patients is summarized. Results: The intraoperative blood loss in patients undergoing robot-assisted tumor surgery was (57.51 ± 12.01) ml;the operation time was (3.57 ± 0.66) h;and the hospital stay was (6.04 ± 0.53) d. There were 21 cases of complications after robot-assisted tumor surgery, accounting for 2.73%. After surgery, all robot-assisted tumor surgery patients recovered and were discharged smoothly after being checked by doctors. Conclusion: Robot-assisted tumor surgery nursing has a definite effect on patients’ rehabilitation in the operating room.
