In the proposed measuring system, the relationship between the output from eight force-balance accelerometer and the six DOF motion of the measuring system under an earthquake are described by differential equations. These equations are derived from the positions and directions of the eight force-balance accelerometers in the measuring system. The third-order Runge-Kutta algorithm is used to guarantee the accuracy of the numerical calculation. All the algorithms used to compute the six DOF components of the ground motion are implemented in a real-time in Digital Signal Processor (DSP). The distortion of the measured results caused by position and direction errors of the accelerometers in the measuring system are reduced by multiplying a compensation coefficient C to the output and subtracting static zero drift from the measured results, respectively.展开更多

As an example, the core variables in the parallel driving system are measured and evaluated in the parallel distance framework. First, the parallel driving 3.0 system included control and management platform, intelligent vehicle platform and remote-control platform is introduced. Then,Markov chain(MC) is utilized to model the transition probability matrix of control commands in these systems. Furthermore, to distinguish the control variables in artificial and physical driving conditions, different distance calculation methods are enumerated to specify the differences between the virtual and real signals. By doing this, the real system can be guided and the virtual system can be im-proved. Finally, simulation results exhibit the merits and multiple applications of the proposed parallel distance framework.展开更多

The appropriate temperature gradient of 10-30 ℃/cm at the growth interface was obtained by adjusting the distance between the two sections and controlling their temperature. The infrared nonlinear optical (NLO) crystal LiInS2 was successfully grown by the accelerated crucible rotation technique (ACRT). The crystal was characterized by using XRD and transmission microscopy. It is found that the UV-VIS-NIR and Mid-IR transmittances are about 40%.展开更多

This model with discrete-event simulation( DES)method was presented to simulate the dynamic drafting process. This model described the behavior of individual fibers, which was divided into four phases and simulated by corresponding modules. Three sets of processing conditions in industry were simulated and demonstrated the applications of this model. The comparison between experiments and simulation results could also validate this model. This model could be used to simulate various drafting process with appropriate drafting settings.展开更多

We believe that the TDI mathematical model that we propose is of great conceptual importance. In addition, we think that it is not only necessary to understand the dynamics of rotating bodies, but also to understand the dynamics of the cosmos, with bodies that orbit and with constantly recurring movements, which make possible systems that have been in dynamic equilibrium for centuries and are not in a process of unlimited expansion. We even believe that this new dynamic theory allows us a better understanding of our universe, and the matter from which it is made.展开更多

The core SLAM system, dubbed RatSLAM, can construct a cognitive map using information of raw odometry and visual scenes in the path traveled. Different from existing RatSLAM system which only uses a simple vector to represent features of visual image, in this paper, we employ an efficient and very fast descriptor method, called ORB, to extract features from RCB images. Experiments show that these features are suitable to recognize the sequences of familiar visual scenes. Thus, while loop closure errors are detected, the descriptive features will help to modify the pose estimation by driving loop closure and localization in a map correction algorithm. Efficiency and robustness of our method are also demonstrated by comparing with different visual processing algorithms.展开更多
