Fully normalized associated Legendre functions(fnALFs)are a set of orthogonal basis functions that are usually calculated by using the recurrence equation.This paper presented the applicability and universality of the...Fully normalized associated Legendre functions(fnALFs)are a set of orthogonal basis functions that are usually calculated by using the recurrence equation.This paper presented the applicability and universality of the standard forward column/row recurrence equation based on the isolated singular factor method and extended-range arithmetic.Isolating a singular factor is a special normalization method that can improve the universality of the standard forward row recurrence equation to a certain extent,its universality can up to degree hundreds.However,it is invalid for standard forward column recurrence equation.The extended-range arithmetic expands the double-precision number field to the quad-precision numberfield.The quad-precision numberfield can retain more significant digits in the operation process and express larger and smaller numbers.The extended-range arithmetic can significantly improve the applicability and universality of the standard forward column/row recurrence equations,its universality can up to degree several thousand.However,the quad-precision numberfield operation needs to occupy more storage space,which is why its operation speed is slow and undesirable in practical applications.In this paper,the X-number method is introduced in the standard forward row recurrence equation for thefirst time.With the use of the X-number method,fnALFs can be recursed to 4.2 billion degree by using standard forward column/row recurrence equations.展开更多

Main parameters in the new model were the cross-sectional area, transverse reinforcement raito, axial load, and material strength of the column. The reduction coefficient of concrete sterength owing to the severe cracking of column was also introduced in the model. Finally, 14 specimens under oblique horizontal load were tested to verified the feasibility and applicability of the space truss-arch model.展开更多

A cluster coverage is introduced to describe the extensive property of node clusters on a Eucli...A new concept, called the row-column visibility graph, is proposed to map two-dimensional landscapes to complex networks. A cluster coverage is introduced to describe the extensive property of node clusters on a Euclidean lattice. Graphs mapped from fractals generated with the probability redistribution model behave scale-free. They have pattern-induced hierarchical organizations and comparatively much more extensive structures. The scale-free exponent has a negative correlation with the Hurst exponent, however, there is no deterministic relation between them. Graphs for fractals generated with the midpoint displacement model are exponential networks. When the Hurst exponent is large enough (e.g., H 〉 0.5), the degree distribution decays much more slowly, the average coverage becomes significant large, and the initially hierarchical structure at H 〈 0.5 is destroyed completely. Hence, the row-column visibility graph can be used to detect the pattern-related new characteristics of two-dimensional landscapes.展开更多
Using a split plot design, super high-yielding early rice "Zhongjiazao 17"and "Ganxin 203" and super high-yielding late rice "Ganxin 688" and "Wufengy-ouT025" were taken...Using a split plot design, super high-yielding early rice "Zhongjiazao 17"and "Ganxin 203" and super high-yielding late rice "Ganxin 688" and "Wufengy-ouT025" were taken as materials with planting density the same at 312 000 hil s/hm2, to explore the effects of RS/IS (Ratio of row spacing to intrarow row spacing) on yield, top three leaves morphological features and its relationship of them in 2011 and 2012. The results showed that, whether early or late rice, biomass, accumula-tion and apparent utilizing rate of nitrogen were lower in RS/IS5.0 (40.0 cm ×8.0 cm) treatment, but yield of rice was higher in RS/IS2.0 (25.0 cm ×12.8 cm) treatment;grain numbers per spike of rice was more in RS/IS2.8 (30.0 cm×10.7 cm) treatment, and thousand-grain weight of rice was higher in RS/IS1.3 (20.0 cm×16.0 cm) treat-ment. For 4 varieties of early or late rice aforementioned, basal angle, opening an-gle and leaf area of 2nd leaf from top were larger in RS/IS5.0 treatment, and basal angle and opening angle were smal er in RS/IS2.0 treatment and leaf area smal er in RS/IS1.3 treatment.展开更多
