Preliminary Study on the Effect of Different Ecological Cultivation Modes on the Water Stability of Soil Aggregates in Rubber Based Agroforestry Systems

Rubber trees (Hevea brasiliensis Müll. Arg.) have been commercially cultivated for a century and a half in Asia, particularly in China, and they constitute a common element of plantation ecosystems in tropical regions. Soil health is fundamental to the sustainable development of rubber plantations. The objective of the study is to explore the influence of different complex ecological cultivation modes on the stability of soil aggregates in rubber based agroforestry systems. In this study, the ecological cultivation mode of rubber—Alpinia oxyphylla plantation, the ecological cultivation mode of rubber—Phrynium hainanense plantations, the ecological cultivation mode of rubber—Homalium ceylanicum plantations and monoculture rubber plantations were selected, and the particle size distribution of soil aggregates and their water stability characteristics were analyzed. The soil depth of 0 - 20 cm and 20 - 40 cm was collected for four cultivation modes. Soil was divided into 6 particle levels > 20 cm. soil was divided into 6 particle levels > 5 mm, 2 - 5 mm, 1 - 2 mm, 0.5 - 1 mm, 0.25 - 0.5 mm, and 0.053 - 0.25 mm according to the wet sieve method. The particle size proportion and water stability of soil aggregates were determined by the wet sieve method. The particle size proportion and water stability of soil aggregates under different ecological cultivation modes were analyzed. The results showed that under different ecological cultivation modes in the shallow soil layer (0 - 20 cm), the rubber—Alpinia oxyphylla plantation and the rubber—Phrynium hainanense plantation promoted the development of dominant soil aggregates towards larger size classes, whereas the situation is the opposite for rubber—Homalium ceylanicum plantation. In soil layer (20 - 40 cm), the ecological cultivation mode of rubber—Phrynium hainanense plantation developed the dominant radial level of soil aggregates to the diameter level of large aggregates. Rubber—Alpinia oxyphylla plantation and rubber—Homalium ceylanicum plantation, three indicators, including the water-stable aggregate content R<sub>0.25</sub> (>0.25 mm water-stable aggregates), mean weight diameter (MWD), and geometric mean diameter (GMD), were all lower than those in the rubber monoculture mode. However, in the rubber—Phrynium hainanense plantation, the water-stable aggregate content R<sub>0.25</sub>, mean weight diameter, and geometric mean diameter were higher than in the rubber monoculture mode, although these differences did not reach statistical significance. 展开更多

The performance of a well-designed layer of sand, and composites like layer of sand mixed with shredded rubber tire (RSM) as low cost base isolators, is studied in shake table tests in the laboratory. The building foundation is modeled by a 200 mm by 200 mm and 40 mm thick rigid plexi-glass block. The block is placed in the middle of a 1m by 1m tank filled with sand. The selected base isolator is placed between the block and the sand foundation. Accelerometers are placed on top of the footing and foundation sand layer. The displacement of the footing is also measured by LVDT. The whole setup is mounted on a shake table and subjected to sinusoidal motions with varying amplitude and frequency. Sand is found to be effective only at very high amplitude (> 0.65 g) of motions. The performance of a composite consisting of sand and 50% shredded rubber tire placed under the footing is found to be most promising as a low-cost effective base isolator. 展开更多

The present communication addresses compatibility of two synthetic rubber types,chloroprene and nitrile-butadiene ones,with a number of base oils of petroleum origin and lubricating greases produced thereof.Four base oils,including three naphthenic products with varying degrees of refining and one paraffinic product,were compared with each other in terms of their effect on the rubbers.Degenerative changes occurring in the rubbers on contact with the oils and greases were studied using accelerated ageing tests.Alterations in rubber parameters,such as hardness,weight and glass transition temperature,caused by interaction with oil were monitored.The main physicochemical mechanisms standing behind the changes observed in the rubber properties were found to be(i) migration of plasticizer from rubber into the oil phase,(ii) absorption of oil by rubber,and(iii) oxidation of rubber.An increase in glass transition temperature(Tg) of rubber aged in a base oil or grease was considered as an indirect indication that the plasticizer had migrated out of rubber;the plasticizer accumulation in the oil phase being directly confirmed by gas chromatography.In order to suppress the plasticizer migration,oil additivation with dioctyl adipate(DOA),a common plasticizer used in rubber formulations,was attempted.However,the DOA-additivated oils,while reducing plasticizer migration,were found to cause more swelling than the original oils in the case of chloroprene rubber.As an alternative,replacement of DOA by an alkylated aryl phosphate in nitrile-butadiene rubber formulations was considered,but it did not solve the problem either.The results of this study suggest conclusively that the type of rubber,the plasticizer,and the base oil are all the crucial parameters that should be considered when matching rubber with oil in real-life applications.Interaction of rubber with base oils and with greases produced thereof is largely controlled by(i) solvency of the base oils and(ii) polarity and cross-linking density of the rubber matrix.Higher temperatures accelerate ageing in all cases. 展开更多

Study on Modification of Waste Rubber Powder in Cement-Based Composites Mixed with Waste Rubber Powder

In view of the disadvantage that the mechanical properties of cement-based composites can be significantly reduced by incorporating waste rubber powder in situ, the surface modification methods of the original rubber powder by coupling agent KH560, sodium hydroxide, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), methyl hydroxyethyl cellulose ether (MHEC) and tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) as precursors were adopted respectively. The modification of waste rubber powder was studied by Change rate of mortar strength of cement-based composite mortar mixed with waste rubber powder. The results show that the hybrid modification method using tetraethyl orthosilicate as precursor has better ef-fect. When 5 phr ethyl orthosilicate is added, the compressive strength and flexural strength of cement-based composite mortar can be increased by 31.7% and 28%. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) results show that the surface of waste rubber powder with good modification effect has many pro-trusions and flake-like porous structures which are beneficial to its bonding with cement-based materials. 展开更多

【目的】构建和发展橡胶农林复合模式提高综合产出和生态效益,为保障海南省天然橡胶种植业可持续发展提供参考。【方法】以淀粉作物竹芋(Maranta arundinacea L.)为对象,在幼龄常规胶园(6龄)、幼龄(6龄)和成龄(20龄)的全周期胶园中进行... 【目的】构建和发展橡胶农林复合模式提高综合产出和生态效益,为保障海南省天然橡胶种植业可持续发展提供参考。【方法】以淀粉作物竹芋(Maranta arundinacea L.)为对象,在幼龄常规胶园(6龄)、幼龄(6龄)和成龄(20龄)的全周期胶园中进行间作,从光照、土壤养分、生产力、经济效益和温室气体排放方面,综合分析竹芋在不同类型胶园中的适宜性。【结果】幼龄常规胶园间作的光照条件最差,间作竹芋产量仅4750 kg/hm^(2),而幼龄和成龄全周期胶园中间作区域的光照条件较好,产量分别为27470和11190 kg/hm^(2),不同处理之间存在显著差异(P<0.05)。不同间作处理竹芋的生物量亦呈相同趋势。不同处理竹芋的营养成分(淀粉、粗蛋白和可溶性糖)总体上无显著变化。幼龄和成龄全周期胶园间作竹芋的经济效益分别为86185和9285元/hm^(2),而在幼龄常规胶园中间作则为-21415元/hm^(2)。从净温室气体排放方面看,仅幼龄全周期胶园间作竹芋处理为温室气体的汇(368 kg/hm^(2)),而其他两种处理则为温室气体的源。【结论】幼龄的全周期胶园间作竹芋具有最佳的生产力和经济效益,同时能兼顾一定的生态效益,是海南省适宜的橡胶农林复合模式。 展开更多

加工工艺对聚异戊二烯类橡胶炭黑分散性与力学性能的影响

天然橡胶、异戊橡胶和仿生橡胶的主要成分均为顺-1,4-聚异戊二烯,但在蛋白质和磷脂等成分上存在一定差异.这些差异可能会导致橡胶对混炼工艺的响应不同,使填料在橡胶中的分散性产生差异,进而影响硫化胶的动静态性能.为了探究聚异戊二烯... 天然橡胶、异戊橡胶和仿生橡胶的主要成分均为顺-1,4-聚异戊二烯,但在蛋白质和磷脂等成分上存在一定差异.这些差异可能会导致橡胶对混炼工艺的响应不同,使填料在橡胶中的分散性产生差异,进而影响硫化胶的动静态性能.为了探究聚异戊二烯类橡胶在不同混炼工艺下的填料分散性和胶料力学性能变化规律,本文以N220炭黑为填料,研究了天然橡胶、异戊橡胶和仿生橡胶这3种聚异戊二烯类橡胶在4种加工工艺下的炭黑分散性和动静态性能.研究结果表明,天然橡胶和异戊橡胶的填料分散性和力学性能对炭黑混入时间的响应程度更强,而仿生橡胶响应较弱.随着炭黑混入时间的延长,天然橡胶和异戊橡胶的平均聚集体粒径分别从约22和19μm下降到约9μm,下降程度较明显,动静态性能得到提升;而相同工艺条件下仿生橡胶的平均聚集体粒径从约20μm下降到约16μm,且炭黑分散状态较差.另一方面,仿生橡胶对塑炼时间响应更加敏感,延长塑炼时间能够显著降低炭黑的平均聚集体粒径并提升橡胶的伸张疲劳性能.为此,本文设计了较长时间(6 min)塑炼结合混炼的工艺,进一步提升了仿生橡胶的伸张疲劳性能.为了明晰仿生橡胶对混炼和塑炼工艺响应性产生差异的原因,探究了不同加工工艺条件下仿生橡胶门尼黏度和分子量的变化规律,发现适中的分子量以及较窄的分子量分布有利于提升胶料的伸张疲劳性能. 展开更多

[目的]车辆基地是导轨式胶轮电车停放检修的场所,车辆在基地内走行径路繁杂、折返作业多,为解决导轨式胶轮电车在车辆基地内折返作业影响车辆运转效率的问题,提出一种可避免有轨电车折返作业的车辆基地布置型式。[方法]介绍导轨式胶轮电车车辆及道岔特点;分析国内现有导轨式胶轮电车车辆基地工艺流程及存在的问题;根据车辆转弯半径小的优点,结合车辆基地用地选址条件进行车辆基地方案分析;设计无折返作业胶轮式有轨电车车辆基地的设计方案以及无折返作业车辆调度实现流程,在日检洗车库不占用时采用日检洗车、停放流程,在日检洗车库占用时采用指定停车位停放、日检洗车、停放流程,在后一种流程中采用双车同时调度的方式避免车辆折返作业。对该车辆基地方案的优缺点进行了分析,提出满足无折返作业的车辆基地设置条件。[结果及结论]所提出的无折返作业车辆基地已在国内某试验线工程中实施,预计在提高车辆基地内车辆周转效率、减少车辆基地定员、节约土地等方面可取得一定成效。 展开更多

将二乙基次磷酸铝(ADP)和次磷酸铝(ALHP)两种阻燃剂引入到天然橡胶(NR)/顺丁橡胶(BR)中制备复合材料,比较两种阻燃剂对复合材料加工特性、物理性能、阻燃性、力学性能及耐磨性的影响。结果表明,两种阻燃剂均可延迟复合材料的硫化,提高... 将二乙基次磷酸铝(ADP)和次磷酸铝(ALHP)两种阻燃剂引入到天然橡胶(NR)/顺丁橡胶(BR)中制备复合材料,比较两种阻燃剂对复合材料加工特性、物理性能、阻燃性、力学性能及耐磨性的影响。结果表明,两种阻燃剂均可延迟复合材料的硫化,提高门尼黏度,其中添加ADP的复合材料提升更为明显。两种阻燃剂均可降低复合材料的回弹性、拉伸强度、拉断伸长率及撕裂强度,但会提高复合材料的硬度。当ADP和ALHP添加量为45份时,复合材料的极限氧指数(LOI)分别从22.1%提升到28.7%和24.5%。两种阻燃剂均对耐磨性产生不利影响,ADP和ALHP用量为45份时,复合材料的磨耗量分别增加100%和85%。石墨烯(GE)作为成炭剂用于含ADP的复合材料时,可提升阻燃性,同时不影响耐磨性。综上,ADP和ALHP不同程度地影响着NR/BR复合材料的性能,由于ADP碳含量高以及受热挥发,极大程度提升NR/BR复合材料阻燃性,但拉伸强度和耐磨性低于含ALHP的复合材料。 展开更多

Simulation of the response of base-isolated buildings under earthquake excitations considering soil flexibility 被引量:9

The accurate analysis of the seismic response of isolated structures requires incorporation of the flexibility of supporting soil. However, it is often customary to idealize the soil as rigid during the analysis of such structures. In this paper, seismic response time history analyses of base-isolated buildings modelled as linear single degree-of-freedom (SDOF) and multi degree-of-freedom (MDOF) systems with linear and nonlinear base models considering and ignoring the flexibility of supporting soil are conducted. The flexibility of supporting soil is modelled through a lumped parameter model consisting of swaying and rocking spring-dashpots. In the analysis, a large number of parametric studies for different earthquake excitations with three different peak ground acceleration (PGA) levels, different natural periods of the building models, and different shear wave velocities in the soil are considered. For the isolation system, laminated rubber bearings (LRBs) as well as high damping rubber bearings (HDRBs) are used. Responses of the isolated buildings with and without SSI are compared under different ground motions leading to the following conclusions: (1) soil flexibility may considerably influence the stiff superstructure response and may only slightly influence the response of the flexible structures; (2) the use of HDRBs for the isolation system induces higher structural peak responses with SSI compared to the system with LRBs; (3) although the peak response is affected by the incorporation of soil flexibility, it appears insensitive to the variation of shear wave velocity in the soil; (4) the response amplifications of the SDOF system become closer to unit with the increase in the natural period of the building, indicating an inverse relationship between SSI effects and natural periods for all the considered ground motions, base isolations and shear wave velocities; (5) the incorporation of SSI increases the number of significant cycles of large amplitude accelerations for all the stories, especially for earthquakes with low and moderate PGA levels; and (6) buildings with a linear LRB base-isolation system exhibit larger differences in displacement and acceleration amplifications, especially at the level of the lower stories. 展开更多

人类在面临一次资源日益枯竭的同时,又必须面对因一次资源消耗带来的固废难处理问题。因此,在充分考察钢渣性质基础上,利用钢渣特性,研发可以用于橡胶、涂料、塑料领域的钢渣基功能填料,有望实现钢渣跨产业生态链及高附加值利用,具有巨... 人类在面临一次资源日益枯竭的同时,又必须面对因一次资源消耗带来的固废难处理问题。因此,在充分考察钢渣性质基础上,利用钢渣特性,研发可以用于橡胶、涂料、塑料领域的钢渣基功能填料,有望实现钢渣跨产业生态链及高附加值利用,具有巨大经济价值与重要现实意义。钢渣基功能填料具有吸附性强、粒径小、与有机体系相容性好等特征,在橡胶输送带、钢结构防锈涂料、建筑外墙涂料、人造复合板材等领域具有广泛应用的潜力。本文首先对钢渣的特性、钢渣基功能填料的制备原理做了简要介绍;并就钢渣基功能填料作为橡胶填料、涂料颜填料与塑料填料的应用情况进行了具体分析。然后详细指出钢渣基功能填料用于橡胶复合材料、建筑外墙底漆、建筑外墙涂料、PVC微发泡板材的特点,并就目前钢渣基功能填料的局限性进行详细评述。在此基础上,指出优化钢渣基功能填料性能与开发多固废基协同复合功能填料,是钢渣基功能填料未来主要发展方向。 展开更多

The 3DB is composed of lead rubber bearing (LRB) and dish spring bearing (DSB) with damper in series. The 3DB put forward in this paper is effective in the resolution of difficulties in strong vertical capacity and vertical damping of three dimensional isolation bearings. It effectively suppresses rocking motions as well. The analytical model and motion equations of multi dimensional seismic responses of 3D base isolated frame structures are established. Taking a five storey frame structure as an example, an extensive simulation analysis is carried out. The results show that the 3D base isolated structure with the proposed 3DB is effective in 3D isolation; it can reduce seismic responses by 50 % compared to a non isolated structure. Therefore, the 3D isolation problem in building can be solved easily and effectively with the 3DB proposed in this paper. 展开更多

研究高强力再生橡胶在工程机械斜交轮胎胎面基部胶中的应用。结果表明,添加10份高强力再生橡胶,同时相应地调整补强体系,胶料的抗撕裂性能明显提高,动态压缩生热降低,其他性能变化不大,满足胎面基部胶的性能要求,且胶料成本降低。
