Construction Method of Modern Architecture under the Background of the Times

Taking the development of the times as the background,the historical evolution of modern architecture is combed from the perspective of the initial stage of industrialization to post-industrialization and then to the information age.It can be seen that there is a close connection between development and modern architecture in the context of the times.With the advancement of science and technology,the construction of buildings has undergone varying degrees of changes due to aesthetics,materials,structure,humanities,and technology.Behind these changes are the results of the progress and development of social productivity.While changing people’s social cognition,it also changes the development process of architecture.

On the Feminist Comparative Study of Views on Marriage Between the Early Nineteenth Century and Modern Times—Taking Pride and Prejudice for Example

Marriage is a theme influenced by cultural progress. Economic factor is one of the main elements that people of the early nineteenth century considered when deciding a marriage. The pursuit of economic interest results in the advent of some tragic marriages while now it is a side reason. However, women today have made great advancement in education background, employment situation and social status. Women gradually have their economic ability, autonomy and social status. Hence, they began to lay emphasis on the equality and sense of happiness. This is why the views on marriage vary in different eras. This paper, based on the view of marriage from the nineteenth- century English novel Pride and Pejudice, is dedicated to elucidating the changes and improvements of view on marriage from feminist perspective via comparing and contrasting the similarities and the differences of people's view on marriage between the early 1800 s and modern times, and then draws a conclusion that the women's degree of receptive education can influence their social status and view on marriage. In modern times the view on marriage based on equality attribute to the sense of happiness of a family and the degree of satisfaction of marriage.

A Living Buddha of Modern Times

Entering any Tibetan Buddhist monastery one may feel overwhelmed, struck with awe. But the worshipping seems much more pleasant at the Sepa Monastery which is hidden in deep mountains on the right bank of Tongtian River—the upper reach section of the Yangtze, in Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province. A closer observation can tell that the pleasant feeling comes from the brightness inside the main hall of the monastery, as well as from the lush woods around its buildings, which present a sweet greenness rarely seen

Studies of Earthquake Hazard Using Microseismicity Data in Modern Times

This paper selects some representative regions to obtain their G-R relation curves according to their seismicity characteristics,by using ML≥2.0 microseismicity data(1970~1993)in North China.The annual occurrence rate of events of each magnitude can be inferred from the G-R relation.At the same tune,the actual annual occurrence rate of earthquakes of higher magnitudes can be calculated from historical earthquakes(1300-1993)recorded in the same region.It seems that both results are almost the same.Therefore,the rate of events of higher magnitudes can be obtained by using microseismicity data when the proper region is selected.However,two points should be noticed:(1)The method can only give the annual occurrence rate in a seismicity system and estimate the whole situation of the system.(2)When there is a very large earthquake in and near the period in which the microseismicity data are applied,the actual occurrence rate of the system,including this larger earthquake,cannot be obtained by this method.

Lotic specialization in modern Asian newts(Caudata:Salamandridae):Phylogeny,historical biogeography,and ancestral traits based on combined DNA data

Pachytriton,and Paramesotriton,are primarily distributed across East Asia,displaying a broad range of environmental adaptations,including generalists inhabiting both lotic and lentic habitats and lotic specializations.Despite recent studies on their biogeographic history,how these species adapted to geographical changes remains unclear.In this study,divergence times and reconstructed ancestral traits were estimated based on phylogenetic analysis of mitochondrial and nuclear DNA sequences,totaling 4048 bp.Results indicated that the divergence between lotic-specialized and generalist species occurred during the middle to late Miocene(95% confidence interval(CI):16-13 million years ago(Ma)),correlating with the long-lasting arid period(14-12 Ma)and uplift of the Wuyi-Nanling mountains(15-11 Ma).Ancestral trait reconstruction revealed notable morphological changes associated with the emergence of lotic-specialized lineages.Specifically,male body size increased from 130 mm to 140 mm,and epibranchial traits shifted from thin to thick structures.Additionally,variation in tongue movability and skin texture were observed among lotic species.Each morphological shift is hypothesized to have an ecological basis,facilitating adaptation to specific environmental conditions.Overall,this study represents the first comprehensive attempt to elucidate the evolution of ancestral traits among divergent species of modern Asian newts,providing a deeper understanding of their adaptive responses to historical geographical and climatic changes.

近代铁路与京津冀商业转型

清代京津冀地区长途贩运贸易持续发展,在北方市场联通方面占有重要枢纽地位。与之相关,清代京、津、张家口等城市商业有明显发展。天津开埠通商后进出口贸易初步发展,又推动京津冀商业进一步兴盛。接着,河北出现了中国人自建的第一条标准轨运货铁路,开启了中国陆运方式变革。1895年,清政府颁发上谕强调“铁路为通商惠工要务”,中国开始了兴办铁路的高潮。铁路运输安全、迅速、量大、价廉、受气候影响小,比起畜运、水运等旧运输方式有明显的优越性,华北铁路发展以后很快就成为天津等通商口岸至内地运输的主要承担者。清末民初以铁路运输发展为主导的物流方式变革,有力地推动了京津冀商业转型,这一转型以外向型和近代型为主要特征。

近代西方人调查记中的彝族服饰文化研究

目前关于西南彝族服饰的研究各地区进展差异明显,缺乏系统性。本研究旨在通过梳理近代西方调查者对中国西南彝族的记录,将近代的彝族服饰按照地域分为三大区域:大小凉山区域、云南红河流域,云南三江流域及金沙江流域。结合国内的本土文献和田野调查资料,深入考析彝族服饰在不同地区的特点及其异变,并探讨这些差异背后所体现的经济、社会和文化因素。通过将西方与本土资料结合互证,研究认为近代时期,彝族服饰在三大地理区域呈现显著差异,体现了各区域经济、文化影响与社会融合程度的不同,其中大凉山地区保留较多传统元素,红河流域受汉文化与外来文化影响较深,三江及金沙江流域则展现出中间态。服饰多样性与时代变迁反映了彝族文化的演进和社会文化的互动。

现代性与时间逻辑中的“新异化”--重审罗萨的社会加速批判理论

作为法兰克福学派新一代的代表人物,罗萨一方面继承霍克海默、哈贝马斯等从工具理性的角度批判资本主义社会对人的奴役的思想传统,一方面又试图在现代社会加速层面系统说明人类在现代自然科学的迷信下追求“掌控世界”造成人与世界关系相扭曲的“新异化”。在他看来,这种异化不同于马克思的异化劳动,而是植根于现代性加速进程中时间结构改变的“空间异化”“物的异化”“行动异化”“时间异化”以及“自我异化”。时间不再单纯是描述物质运动持续历程的物理参数,而是全面介入现代社会结构和人的生活内容。加速社会凭借不断强化的时间逻辑,固然提高生产生活效率,但又导致人们不得不持久地加入对各种资源的竞争追逐,生活节奏越来越快,质量越来越差。为克服弊端,罗萨提出当前应引入新的追求“质”的提升的“后增长社会”的发展模式,建构人与世界共鸣关系的美好生活。从马克思的历史唯物主义来看,罗萨为分析资本主义社会的危机提供新思路,然而又未意识只有将现代性逻辑、加速逻辑置于资本逻辑的场域中,立足于变革生产方式的维度,实现“自然科学”与“人的科学”的统一,才能真正消解加速社会中人的异化情形。

Time-lapse geophysical technology-based study on overburden strata changes induced by modern coal mining

To study the impact of modern coal mining on overlying strata and its water bearing conditions,integrated time-lapse geophysical prospecting integrating 3D seismic,electrical and ground penetrating radar method were used.Through observing and analyzing the geophysical data variations of all stages of pre-mining,mining and post-mining as well as post-mining deposition stable period,impacts of coal mining on stratigraphic structure and its water bearing were studied and modern coal mining induced stratigraphic change pattern was summarized.The research result shows that the stratigraphic structure and the water bearing of surface layer during modern coal mining have self-healing pattern with mining time;the self-healing capability of near-surface strata is relatively strong while the roof weak;water bearing selfhealing of near-surface strata is relatively high while the roof strata adjacent to mined coal beds low.Due to integrated time-lapse geophysical prospecting technology has extra time dimension which makes up the deficiency of static analysis of conventional geophysical methods,it can better highlight the dynamic changes of modern coal mining induced overburden strata and its water bearing conditions.

A Research of the Finding and Distribution Law of Taisui in Modern China

The academic world is still uncertain about the classification of Taisui. It is debating whether Taisui is living or not, myxomycete complex or fungi. The passage studies the 228 finding reports of Taisui in modern China. It confirms that the first finding time of Taisui in modern China is 1963, and the first reported time is 1992. Taisui has been found in 25 administrative divisions. Taisui occurs the most times in Shandong Province. Besides, provinces where Taisui has been found most times are in northern China. Finding locations of Taisui vary from place to place. Taisui is most often found in normal earth layer, with different burying depth. Taisui is mainly found through seeing, tramping, and digging. Taisui findings lack subjective motivations and are connected with the life and production of the finders. Conclusion: Taisui is an object growing in earth layer.

Research on Modern Garden Architecture in The Fragrant Hills of Beijing

In the early years of Republic of China,Jingyi Garden in The Fragrant Hills of Beijing,the former imperial garden of Qing Dynasty,had turned desolate after the depredation of Anglo-French Allied Force,then the construction of modern garden architecture had started with the operation of The Children’s Philanthropical School of Fragrant Hills.Through reviewing historical literature and field investigation,this paper analyzed the historical background,planning and construction of these modern garden architecture,as well as their types and characteristics,and the utilization of original natural and historical environment of original Jingyi Garden.Based on this,this paper tried to display the historical prospects of modern garden architecture in Jingyi Garden,analyze their characteristics and discover their unique historic value.

中国人时间洞察力的质性探究

时间洞察力是个体精准把控时间的品格。当前,西方学者对时间洞察力的概念化与研究均含糊不清,国内学者的客位化研究取向亦难以触及中国人时间洞察力的实质。文章以中国人的时间洞察力为切入点,采用基于深度访谈的扎根理论方法,运用访谈精英的取样策略,构建出中国人时间洞察力的三维结构模型。在中国人的时间洞察力中,过去、现在和未来是有机整合的,个体在心理时间的往返回荡中扫描而生成历史理性并用来指导实践,进而构建出一种可以克服“理想”与“现实”矛盾的人文时间。中国人的时间洞察力有一套极为独特的思考,认为历史会遵循某种规律(即“势”)而向前推进,掌握时机(时点)、把握火候(时距)并遵从规律(时序)便能因势利导获取成功。个人的生命时间虽然有限,但是主动参与群体共业可以创造出“超时间”的意义,继而创造其生命永恒不朽之价值。这种升华生命情感的超时间观,可能是疗愈现代时间病症的儒家养分。

Three Development Stages for the Tibetan Family and Tibet's Modernization——A Survey of Social Changes in Tibet in Last 50 Years

I Since 1990, as a person in charge of key research projects of the China Tibetology Research Center, I have had opportunities almost every year to conduct field surveys on anthropology in Tibet together with my colleagues. Our investigations focus on the family. The purpose of our surveys is to see social changes in Tibet during the 50 years after the Democratic Reform through the study of the family as a social cell.
