A high-temperature simulation test furnace w as used to analyze the influence of the composition ratio of ladle filler sand and sintering time on the high-temperature compression resistance of chromium-containing stuffing sand in the temperature range of 1 500- 1 600 ℃. The results show that the refractoriness of ladle filler sand w as the low est( only 1 610 ℃) w hen the composition ratio of chromite sand and silica sand w as 6∶ 4. M oreover, the high-temperature compression resistance w as high w hen the content of chromite sand w as at 70%; the resistance increased w ith increasing sintering time. When the sintering time w as extended at a temperature of 1 600 ℃,the high-temperature compression resistance of ladle filler sand first increased and then decreased after being overburnt.展开更多

To improve the blast resistance, a multitude of protective structures have been proposed as attachments to the thin plate. In the present study, a novel ultralight all-metallic sandwich panel with three-dimensional(3D) tube cellular cores mounted to the vehicle underbody was envisioned as such a protective system. A metallic substrate(mimicking vehicle bottom)was placed above the proposed sandwich panel to construct a sandwich-substrate combinative structure. A series of sandwich panels having 3D tube cellular cores were fabricated via argon protected welding and laser welding. Mechanical responses of the combinative structure subjected to the denotation of 6 kg TNT explosives shallow-buried in dry sand were experimentally measured. Full numerical simulations with the method of finite elements(FE) were subsequently carried out to explore the physical mechanisms underlying the observed dynamic performance and quantify the effects of key geometrical parameters and connection conditions of the protective system. The performance of the proposed sandwich panel under shallow-buried explosives was also compared with competing sandwich constructions having equal mass. Finally, a preliminary optimal design of the 3D tube cellular core was carried out.展开更多

Using the "24-channel temperature auto acquisition system" developed by our research group in the tests, the temperatures are recorded at measuring points within the research area in the tests, the revised Brinkman equation and a transfer-convection balance model are used for solving the aquifer water-thermal coupling problems, and through comparison of the test results with the calcula- tion results, it is discovered that the influence ranges and the variations of the two temperature fields are consistent, which validates the mathematical model. On the basis of this, we also study the influences of the heat source positions and the boundary conditions on the temperature fields, and the results show that, under the natural convection, the heat source positions may influence the distri- bution of the temperature fields, thus affect the energy storage. For the same energy storage layer, the temperature field for the top energy storage is characterized by a smaller heat influence range and a relatively concentrated temperature distribution. However, when the heat source is at the bottom, the range of a temperature field, and the temperature is relatively dispersed, which is not favorable to heat recycle, with the same heat source position, the boundary conditions determine the size of the critical Rayleigh number, and thus have an influence on the occurrence and the strength of the natural convection, and accordingly, on the temperature fields.展开更多
