In our study, the Dominance-based Rough Set Approach (DRSA) has been proposed to assist the Board of Directors of the Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDC), the sub-region of Abitibi-West (Quebec). The CFDC needs a tool for decision support to select the projects that are proposed by the contractors and partners of its territory. In decision making, a balanced set of 22 indicators is considered. These indicators derive from five perspectives: economic, social, demographic, health and wellness. The DRSA proposal is suitable for the data processing with multiple indicators providing on many examples to infer decision rules related to the preference model. In this paper we show that decision rules developed with the use of rough set theory allow us to simplify the process of selecting a portfolio for sustainable development by reducing a number of redundant indicators and identifying the critical values of selected indicators. 展开更多

For a long time,Chinese construction industry has had disadvantages such as waste of resources,environmental pollution,long construction period,great influence by weather,low enterprise efficiency and poor benefit.While being able to solve the disadvantages of traditional buildings,prefabricated buildings,as an important starting point to achieve the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals,are far superior to traditional buildings in green and low-carbon,energy conservation and emission reduction,which can accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry.In recent years,the government has vigorously promoted prefabricated buildings,but the implementation of prefabricated buildings has been frequently hindered and the development of prefabricated buildings in China has not achieve the expected goal in many aspects.Under the high-quality development strategy proposed by the central government,how to promote the high-quality development of prefabricated buildings in China is one of the key difficulties of Chinese construction industry in the future.Therefore,it is necessary to proceed from the connotation of the high-quality development of prefabricated buildings,establish an evaluation model for the high-quality development level of prefabricated buildings through AHP and comprehensive fuzzy evaluation to master the high-quality development level of prefabricated buildings in China,and explore the reasonable paths selection forthe high-quality development of prefabricated buildings in China. 展开更多

A complex Laboratory Developed Test(LDT)is a clinical test developed within a single laboratory.It is typically configured from many fea-ture constraints from clinical repositories,which are part of the existing Lab-oratory Information Management System(LIMS).Although these clinical repositories are automated,support for managing patient information with test results of an LDT is also integrated within the existing LIMS.Still,the support to configure LDTs design needs to be made available even in standard LIMS packages.The manual configuration of LDTs is a complex process and can generate configuration inconsistencies because many constraints between features can remain unsatisfied.It is a risky process and can lead patients to undergo unnecessary treatments.We proposed an optimized solution(opt-LDT)based on Genetic Algorithms to automate the configuration and resolve the inconsistencies in LDTs.Opt-LDT encodes LDT configuration as an optimization problem and generates a consistent configuration that satisfies the constraints of the features.We tested and validated opt-LDT for a local secondary care hospital in a real healthcare environment.Our results,averaged over ten runs,show that opt-LDT resolves 90%of inconsistencies while taking between 6 and 6.5 s for each configuration.Moreover,positive feedback based on a subjective questionnaire from clinicians regarding the performance,acceptability,and efficiency of opt-LDT motivates us to present our results for regulatory approval. 展开更多

Background:Recently,due to the development of food security strategies,cotton has been planted in inland saline-alkali dry soils or in coastal some saline-alkali soils in China.Under the condition,to comprehensively prevent and control Helicoverpa armigera in cotton fields with saline-alkali soils,it is important to study the larval growth and development of H.armigero and to study adult oviposition selectivity in H.armigera adults that feed on NaCI-stNaCled cotton plants.Results:In this study,Bt cotton GK19 was used for the experimental group and its nontransgenic parent Simian 3 was used for the control to study the effects of biochemical substances in cotton as well as larval growth and development and adult oviposition selectivity of H.armigera.The experiments were performed by growing cotton indoors under NaCl stress at concentrations of 0 mmol-L-1,75 mmol-L-1 and 150 mmol-L-1,respectively.The results showed that the expression of Bt protein was significantly inhibited for NaCI-stressed Bt cotNaClThe content of soluble protein and K+ in the leaves of cotton were decreased,while the content of gossypol and Na+were increased.In addition,the 5th instar H.armigera larvae exhibited shorten the life span in a 13-day trial period.Under enclosure treatments and at different female densities,the adult oviposition of H.armigera decreased on high NaCI-stressed nontransgenic coNaCl,while the oviposition on Bt cotton tended to first increase but then decrease under low,moderate and high NaCl stress treatments.Conclusions:Under certain content ranges of NaCl stress treatments,larval of H.armigera growth and development,and adult oviposition were no significant difference in the change for a certain period.However,under high NaCl stress,larval growth,development and adult oviposition were affected,which may provide insights for the prevention and control of H.armigero for Bt cotton in saline-alkali soils. 展开更多

Shape is an important quality index of cold rolling strip. Up to now, many problems in the shape control domain have not been solved satisfactorily, and a review on the research progress in the shape control domain can help to seek new breakthrough directions. In the past 10 years, researches and applications of shape control models, shape control means, shape detection technology, and shape con- trol system have achieved significant progress. In the aspect of shape control models, the researches in the past improve the accuracy, speed and robustness of the models. The intelligentization of shape control models should be strengthened in the future. In the aspect of the shape control means, the researches in the past focus on the roll opti- mization, mill type selection, process optimization, local strip shape control, edge drop control, and so on. In the future, more attention should be paid to the coordination control of both strip shape and other quality indexes, and the refinement of control objective should be strengthened. In the aspects of shape detection technology and shape control system, some new types of shape detection meters and shape control systems are developed and have successfully indus- trial applications. In the future, the standardization of shape detection technology and shape control system should be promoted to solve the problem of compatibility. In general,the four expected development trends of shape control for cold roiling strip in the future are intelligentization, coordi- nation, refinement, and standardization. Objective To explore the relationship between the patterns of pronucleus and embryo development and pregnancy potential in the pronuclear stageMethods According to the number and distribution of nucleolar precursor bodies, the embryos at pronuclear stage were classified into 6 pronuclear patterns from 0 to 5, 16 - 18 h after in vitro fertilization (IV F) or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). For each, pattern, the subsequent embryonic morphology and the pregnancy rate were analyzed.Results Embryos of Pattern 0 developed to significantly more embryos with good quality and higher pregnancy potential than the embryos developing from other patterns (83. 14% and 76. 11% respectively, P<0. 05). The pregnancy rate was decreased as less embryos of Pattern 0 were transferred . The pregnancy rate of the groups of only Pattern 0, with Pattern 0, and without Pattern 0 were 48. 08% , 32. 14% and 21. 28% respectively (P<0. 05).Conclusions The pronuclear patterns are of the predictive value of embryo development and pregnancy potential, which can be used as a new tool for the selection of embryos in IVF and ICSI. 展开更多

One of the main concerns of physical planning is the proper designation of suitable sites for feasible and sustainable land use. A main importance of such issue is that it withdraws attention to the necessity of adopting a multidisciplinary approach to the zoning and site selection problem. Egypt has a top priority objective to develop Sinai Peninsula and to create new sustainable and attracting communities that should ensure a stable, economic and sustainable environment in vast desert zones. Due to the difficulty in solving a zoning problem in a desert, the use of remote sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS) was to explore the desert potentials in the region. Five sub-models were created for five themes using Spatial Multicriteria Analysis (SMCA) and used as inputs to the final suitability model. These themes are: land resources, land stability, accessibility, cost of construction and land protection. A GIS-based model was designed following a sustainable development approach. Economic, social and environmental factors were introduced in the model to identify and map land suitable zones for urban development using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The suitability index map for urban development was produced by weighted overlay of the five sub-models themes. The most suitable zones for urban development in Sinai Peninsula amounted to 5327 square kilometers representing 17% of total area, whereas high suitable zones reached 40% indicating a high suitability of Sinai Peninsula lands for residing new urban communities. 展开更多

Bumetanide has been shown to lessen cerebral edema and reduce the infarct area in the acute stage of cerebral ischemia. Few studies focus on the effects of bumetanide on neuroprotection and neurogenesis in the chronic stage of cerebral ischemia. We established a rat model of cerebral ischemia by injecting endothelin-1 in the left cortical motor area and left corpus striatum. Seven days later, bumetanide 200 μg/kg/day was injected into the lateral ventricle for 21 consecutive days with a mini-osmotic pump. Results demonstrated that the number of neuroblasts cells and the total length of dendrites increased, escape latency reduced, and the number of platform crossings increased in the rat hippocampal dentate gyrus in the chronic stage of cerebral ischemia. These findings suggest that bumetanide promoted neural precursor cell regeneration, dendritic development and the recovery of cognitive function, and protected brain tissue in the chronic stage of ischemia. 展开更多
