Differential Gene Expression Between Cross-Fertilized and Self-Fertilized Kernels During the Early Stages of Seed Development in Wheat

In order to understand molecular basis of cross-fertilized kernel advantage and heterosis, improved differential display of mRNA was used in this study to analyze alterations in gene expression between cross-fertilized and self-fertilized kernels at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 days after pollination (DAP) by using 3 wheat hybrids with different level of heterosis. Four patterns of differential expression were observed: (i) bands observed in cross-fertilized kernels but not in self-fertilized kernels (BCnS); (ii) bands occurring in only self-fertilized kernels but not in cross-fertilized kernels (BSnC); (iii) cDNA over-expressed in cross-fertilized kernels compared to self-fertilized kernels (OEC); (iv) cDNA under-expressed in cross-fertilized kernels compared to self-fertilized kernels (UEC). Further analysis showed that BCnS is positively correlated with heterosis, but BSnC is negatively correlated with heterosis. Four differentially expressed cDNA fragments were verified by reverse-northern blot and sequence homology search in GenBank showed that one of them was new sequences; the other exhibited higher similarity to NBS-LRR type resistance protein, 1,6-bisphosphatase and photosystem Ⅱ chlorophyll a-binding protein psbB, respectively, which indicated diverse pathways may be involved in heterosis formation.

Analysis on Factors Influencing Sustainable Development of Self-study Examination of Agricultural Science Disciplines

Based on existing problems in the course of development of self-study examination of agricultural science disciplines, this paper analyzes logical conditions for its sustainable development. Major logical conditions include requirement for free and comprehensive development of individuals; requirement for social institutional evolution and change; requirement for fairness and justice of education and development; as well as requirement for better-established organization system and higher social reputation. Finally, it presents basic measures for sustainable development of self-study examination of agricultural science disciplines, including carrying on reasonable core elements of self-study examination system, adjusting structure of discipline, improving social assistance system, and expanding service space.

Development of a Dietary Habit Self-Management Skills Scale for Post-Gastrectomy Cancer Patients in Japan

Purpose: The purpose of the present study was to develop a Dietary Habit Self-Management Skill (DHSMS) scale, and to test the reliability and validity of this scale. Methods: A questionnaire survey was then conducted using a 69-item DHSMS scale (second draft) for which content validity had been confirmed. The participants were post-gastrectomy cancer patients aged from 40 to under 80 years who had undergone initial gastrectomy with an interval of from 1 month since discharge to <3 years post-operative. Results: The scale is a second-order factor model with “Dietary habit self-management skills” as a higher-order factor, four factors—”Skill to form partnerships with other important people”, “Skill to prevent or cope with post-gastrectomy disorder”, “Skill to grasp issues accompanying post-gastrectomy disorder”, and “Self-efficacy”—and 27 items. The construct validity of the scale was confirmed. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of the DHSMS scale was 0.915. The criterion- related validity of the DHSMS scale was confirmed based on the correlations between overall DHSMS scale scores and “Number of post-gastrectomy disorder symptoms experienced”, the score for the subscale “Skill to grasp issues accompanying post-gastrectomy disorder” and “Number of post-gastrectomy disorder symptoms experienced”, and the subscale “Self-efficacy” and the SF-8. Discussion: By using patients’ self-administered DHSMS scale scores, medical professionals are able to assess the level of a patient’s self-management skills and the status of their dietary habits as a result of post-gastrectomy disorder.

Study on Village Renovation Planning and Design Oriented by "Endogenous Development"——A Case Study of Zengjia Village,Guangchang County,Fuzhou City

Through the discussion of the current new rural construction issues,this paper points out a new development idea for the traditional rural construction. We should tap the local resources,stimulate the internal motivation of the village,emphasize the villagers as the main body,leading the village development-oriented renovation planning and design. With regard to the construction of " endogenous development" system,this paper discusses it from five perspectives: ecology,economy,culture,space and society. And combined with the planning and design practice of Zengjia Village,Guangchang County,Fuzhou City,we carry out renovation planning and design of the village from six aspects( " personal in-home interview" for current situation investigation; village spatial control and development planning; guidance for the dominant and diversified development of industry; the actual space environment renovation suitable for the village; continuation of the traditional culture to enhance the village look; enhancement of the participation of villagers in the whole process). It is pointed out that village renovation should not only stay in the improvement of the material environment,but also place greater emphasis on guiding the subjective initiative of the villagers,stimulate the endogenous power of the village,strengthen and guide the villagers' self-governance,and promote the sustainable development of village construction.

The Process by Which Girls Who Develop Type 1 Diabetes before School Age Acquire Self-Management Skills during Puberty and Adolescence

Our aim was to clarify the process by which girls who develop type 1 diabetes before school age acquire self-management skills during puberty and adolescence. We conducted semi-structured interviews with such women who had reached adolescence, and analyzed the results using the modified grounded theory approach (M-GTA). We found the process to be composed of eight categories: Girls begin to feel they understand their own bodies;Girls give precedence to fun, and forget about their disease;Girls build a foundation for taking control of their physical health;Girls feel “out of sync” with their physical sensations;Girls gain new awareness of their disease due to discrimination and comparing themselves to others;Girls revisit their lifestyle and diabetes care practices, with an eye to their future;Girls employ the wisdom and knowledge they have gained from experience;Girls are frustrated at diabetes’ relent-less presence in their lives. The learning process could be roughly divided into two periods: a period dominated by annoyance, where girls prioritize fun activities and try to forget about their disease, and a period where they leverage their wisdom to revisit their care behaviors and change their lifestyle.

城市住宅更新路径探索:低层住宅自主更新试点的可行性与推广策略

本文通过梳理城市住宅更新的背景与现状,分析了房屋日趋老旧的自然规律与居民不断提升的居住需求之间的天然矛盾。在当前城镇化率逐渐接近理论峰值、人口总量趋于下降以及房地产市场转型等宏观背景下,指出业主主导的自主更新是解决这一矛盾的必然选择。文章进一步指出,低层住宅小区在自主更新中的意见统一、规划设计灵活性、资金平衡以及组织实施等方面具有相对优势,是自主更新试点的优先选项。基于此,本文提出了政策支持、法律规制、社区组织强化和多元化资金筹集等推广策略,为实现城市住宅的可持续更新和品质化发展提供了可行的探索路径和思路。

THE SELF-GRINDING MECHANISM AND AFFECTING FACTORS OF BULK MATERIAL IN FLUID MOTION

The fluidity and classification of bulk material (loose body) were introduced, the self-grinding mechanism and the affecting factors of bulk materials in various forms of phase, state and motion were investigated. A rotational-flow-state centrifugal autogenous grinder was developed on the basis of applying self-grinding mechanism of bulk material,the result tested by the autogenous grinder was compared with that tested by 4R Raymond mills, and fine particles with extremely high specific area were obtained. The feasibility of the developed new-type autogenous grinder in the view of fluid motion of bulk material was proved.

基于自主学习能力培养的高职学生学习评价体系探究

自主学习是个体终身学习、适应社会的基础,高等职业教育作为教育的重要组成部分,肩负着培养学生自主学习能力的重要使命。学习评价作为高职院校开展教育教学活动的“指挥棒”,是培养高职学生自主学习能力、提升高职院校人才培养质量的重要切入点。在对培养高职学生自主学习能力的必要性、高职学生学习评价存在的问题进行剖析的基础上,本研究立足学生自主学习能力培养,从“评什么-谁来评-如何评-怎么用”四个方面构建多维度多元化全过程重反馈的高职学生学习评价体系,以期助力培养德才兼备的高素质技术技能人才,主要包括:拓展评价内容,培养学生高阶思维;增加评价主体,鼓励学生自我评价;创新评价方式,关注学生学习过程;强化结果反馈,提高学生学习效果。

工作繁荣在教练型领导与护士职业成长间的中介效应

目的探讨护士工作繁荣对教练型领导与职业成长关系的中介效应。方法采用多阶段分层抽样法,选择河南省7所三级甲等医院的447名护士为研究对象,使用护士职业成长量表、教练型领导感知评价量表(护士他评版)和工作繁荣量表进行调查。结果护士评估的教练型领导评分为69.61±19.17,工作繁荣评分为49.93±10.12,职业成长评分为49.00±10.07,三者之间互为正相关(均P<0.05)。分层回归分析结果显示,在控制一般资料变量后,教练型领导及工作繁荣能解释职业成长总变异的38.2%。工作繁荣在教练型领导与职业成长之间起中介作用,中介效应占总效应的52.560%。结论教练型领导有助于提升临床护士工作繁荣水平,进而促进其职业成长,提示护理管理者施展教练型领导以挖掘护士职业发展潜力。

Software Reusability Classification and Predication Using Self-Organizing Map (SOM)

Due to rapid development in software industry, it was necessary to reduce time and efforts in the software development process. Software Reusability is an important measure that can be applied to improve software development and software quality. Reusability reduces time, effort, errors, and hence the overall cost of the development process. Reusability prediction models are established in the early stage of the system development cycle to support an early reusability assessment. In Object-Oriented systems, Reusability of software components (classes) can be obtained by investigating its metrics values. Analyzing software metric values can help to avoid developing components from scratch. In this paper, we use Chidamber and Kemerer (CK) metrics suite in order to identify the reuse level of object-oriented classes. Self-Organizing Map (SOM) was used to cluster datasets of CK metrics values that were extracted from three different java-based systems. The goal was to find the relationship between CK metrics values and the reusability level of the class. The reusability level of the class was classified into three main categorizes (High Reusable, Medium Reusable and Low Reusable). The clustering was based on metrics threshold values that were used to achieve the experiments. The proposed methodology succeeds in classifying classes to their reusability level (High Reusable, Medium Reusable and Low Reusable). The experiments show how SOM can be applied on software CK metrics with different sizes of SOM grids to provide different levels of metrics details. The results show that Depth of Inheritance Tree (DIT) and Number of Children (NOC) metrics dominated the clustering process, so these two metrics were discarded from the experiments to achieve a successful clustering. The most efficient SOM topology [2 × 2] grid size is used to predict the reusability of classes.
