Self-development of the Teachers and Improvement on EnglishTeaching

For a long time, there have been extensive and deep studies and researches about how to upgrade the level of language education in universities. Now people have realized that the key factor that influences the language education most is teachers＇ self-development and the promotion of teachers＇ personalities. A new teaching concept -- reflective teaching has become very popular in the educational circles. It emphasizes that students should become positive and active learners while teachers should bear more dynamic and capacities for self-development.

Measurement of self-development capacity in the contiguous destitute mountainous areas, China

Affected by the mountainous location and ecological vulnerability, the incidence of poverty in contiguous destitute mountainous areas is higher than that in other regions of China. Regional selfdevelopment capacity is an internal driving force for poverty reduction in contiguous destitute mountainous areas. This study selects 17 indicators from the four dimensions: industrial capacity, market capacity, spatial capacity and soft power to measure the overall self-development capacity of 658 counties in 14 different mountain areas in China. The results show that self-development capacity is at a low level and the development of the different regions is unbalanced. The self-development capacity is low in the southwest and high in the east and "low in the middle, high around" in each study region. It has achieved a certain degree of improvement in 2011, 2013 and 2015. From the perspective of the four dimensions, industrial capacity is the constraint on the promotion of self-development capacity. Based on this, we should develop green industries in line with local realities and achieve industrial poverty eradication, but the expansion of space capacity should take into account the resources and environmental carrying capacity in these areas and should not be blindly expanded. Local leaders should be made to improve the local education level and public service level, improve social infrastructure, develop reserve strength for the future, and enhance future development potential.

A Feminist Analysis of Protagonists＇ Self-development in O Pioneers： and My Antonia

This paper focuses on pioneer women＇s development of the self from the perspective of feminism in 0 Pioneerst. （1913） and My A ntonia （1994）. As rigid social connections and concepts restrict women＇s autonomy and freedom, they must transform themselves and the world in order to survive. In order to analyze pioneer women＇s process of self-growth in the special period, the author of this paper compares and contrasts the specific situation, and analyzes the characteristics of the protagonists in the above two novels. Through analysis, the authuor concludes that pioneer women always create a nurturing and gracious atmosphere in their household. Practically, these women successfully transmit the old civilization to the newly established homestead.

The Study of Secondary School English Teachers＇ Self-development and Their Interpretation of the New Syllabus

To meet the needs of the development Of modern society, English teaching reform has been carried out for several years with a new English syllabus and a new set of textbooks. But how the teachers respond to and attempt to implement the syllabus is the key factor to settle the final battle. In this study, the author intends to get a view into the real world of the present secondary school English teaching and English teachers＇ efforts in meeting the requirements of modem English teaching with the hope that it may give some help to our English teaching reform.

Survey and Inquiry for English Teachers' Self-development in Freshly Certificated Universities in Guangxi

Inquiry Summary for Universities English Teachers' Self-development

College English teachers' Self development apparently affects teaching quality, major curriculum development and inquiry development. The scope of inquiry summary indicates the intrinsic factors as awareness of professional competence, professional-knowledge learning awareness, awareness of teaching means, development awareness and the notions alike. And the summary comes to the findings that foreign ones ignore the effect of the external factors, the domestic just focus on the teaching pattern of team, yet ignore the scientific and inquiry group construction.

Teachers' Self-Development in Applying Information Communication Technology

This paper reports a case study of my self-development in applying Information Communication Technology （ICT） to teaching. I analyzed my own growth from three perspectives： technical confidence and competence, pedagogical development and self-efficacy. Classroom observation, interviews, reflective journals and questionnaires were used to explore how professional self-development occurred when I changed my teaching belief in teaching, and how I understood the development as a practicing teacher in learning by teaching. I participated in various projects based on action research in order to meet the challenges of the teaching reform in the new era. The results indicate that teachers can develop their informational quality and professional competence in applying ICT in teaching.

Study Abroad as Self-Development:An Analysis of International Students’Experience in China and France

This article explores the real life experience of international students’and the importance of study abroad for their personal and professional development.The empirical data drawn upon for this article came from the author’s master’s research,with field research conducted in the 2010/2011 academic year.It begins with the study focus and research objectives and reviews the relevant theoretical literature and the methodology adopted in the research.In the third section,data from interviews with 16 international students in Capital University(pseudonym,China)and Romance University(pseudonym,France)are analyzed following in chronological order the experiences of their sojourn in their host country.The final section of the article sums up the results of the research and points out the complexity of the question of international student mobility and different perspectives that can be adopted in seeking to understand and interpret this phenomenon.

PROMOTING TEACHERS’SELF-DEVELOPMENT:VIDEO REVIEW OF ATTC PARTICIPANTS’TEACHING PRACTICE

This article examines some of the advantages of using video review of in-service teacher trainees’teaching practice lessons in China.Although used for micro-teaching purposes on SMSTT(SeniorMiddle School Teachers’Training)courses,that is,for reviewing short periods of teaching focusing ona specific skill(Barr 1933;Wu 1933),it has seldom-perhaps never before-been used for reviewingcomplete lessons with classes of real students.As will be illustrated in the following paragraphs,videocan be used very successfully to make trainees aware of what actually happened in a lesson and ofmaking them realize what needs to be improved or corrected.

College English Teaching Based on the Theory of Core Competencies

The core competencies of college students can influence their further learning,employment,and personal development.This paper explores college English teaching from the three aspects of core competencies:cultural foundation,self-development,and social participation.Adapting to the challenges posed by the new era for the cultivation of foreign language talents,the paper aims to improve students’cultural literacy,independent learning,the ability of problem discovery and problem solving,and critical cultural thinking,so as to make them more competitive in employment and entrepreneurship.

KCNQ2基因相关癫痫谱系疾病临床特征与遗传学分析

目的 分析KCNQ2基因突变所致癫痫患儿基因变异位置及类型与不同严重程度临床表型的关系,为相关患儿的精准治疗、用药疗程及预后评估提供帮助。方法 收集2021年10月至2024年3月在山西省儿童医院门诊及住院收治的已明确为KCNQ2基因突变患儿的临床资料及基因信息,回顾性分析其基因型及临床特征。结果 14例KCNQ2基因突变所致癫痫患儿中,包括12例单核苷酸变异和2例拷贝数变异;7例为新生变异,7例为遗传性变异;12例单核苷酸变异患儿中,5例为新报道的变异;14例患儿中,首次发作年龄为1 d至6月,最常见的发作形式是局灶性发作,8例患儿存在脑电图异常,5例患儿头颅磁共振结果存在异常;12例患儿使用钠通道阻滞剂癫痫发作得到有效控制。结论 本研究发现5例单核苷酸新变异,扩大了KCNQ2基因相关癫痫的基因谱。钠通道阻滞剂可有效控制KCNQ2基因变异所致癫痫发作,通过分析KCNQ2基因变异与临床表型的关系,可为患儿早期治疗选择及预后评估提供帮助。

内外部发展资源促进青少年核心价值观发展:链式中介与调节效应

采用意向性自我调节问卷、积极心理资本量表、儿童及青少年社会支持量表和自编青少年社会主义核心价值观(个体层面)问卷,对1370名青少年进行调查。结果显示:(1)社会支持、心理资本、意向性自我调节和青少年核心价值观两两显著正相关;(2)社会支持(外部资源)分别通过心理资本和意向性自我调节(内部资源)间接影响青少年核心价值观,呈现链式中介效应;(3)性别起调节作用,与女性相比,男性青少年的心理资本对核心价值观的预测作用更大。研究对青少年社会主义核心价值观教育提供了心理学视角的积极启示。

青少年抑郁与自伤行为的发展轨迹及其关系:基于两年的追踪研究

本研究通过对贵州四所学校的581名初一学生进行历时2年的3次追踪测查,采用交叉滞后模型和潜变量增长模型考察了青少年抑郁和自伤行为的时序效应以及二者的发展轨迹及其关系,同时探究了社会支持在其间的保护作用。结果发现:(1)青少年抑郁能够显著预测其后续的自伤行为,但自伤行为对后续抑郁的预测作用不显著;(2)抑郁和自伤行为在青少年早期并非稳定不变,而是呈线性增长趋势;(3)抑郁的初始水平和增长均能正向预测青少年自伤行为的增长;(4)社会支持能够显著调节抑郁增长对青少年自伤行为增长的影响,具体而言,抑郁增长对青少年自伤行为增长的影响在低社会支持水平下更强,而在高社会支持水平下有所减弱,说明高社会支持在其中发挥了保护作用。该结果揭示了青少年抑郁和自伤行为的动态发展关系及其保护性因素,对于制定科学的预防及干预方案、帮助青少年减少自伤行为等具有重要价值。

上级发展性反馈对民航机务人员安全绩效的影响机制研究

为提升民航机务人员的安全作业水平,保障民航领域的安全生产运行,从社会交换理论和社会认知理论双视角出发,建立了以工作嵌入和安全效能感为中介变量、基于优势的心理氛围为调节变量的上级发展性反馈对安全绩效影响机制的理论模型。通过对来自多个民航组织的296位民航机务人员进行问卷调查,并采用多元层次回归分析法开展假设检验。结果表明:上级发展性反馈显著正向影响民航机务人员的安全绩效;工作嵌入和安全效能感在上级发展性反馈和民航机务人员安全绩效之间发挥平行中介作用;基于优势的心理氛围分别正向调节工作嵌入和安全效能感在上级发展性反馈与安全绩效之间的中介作用。研究揭示了上级发展性反馈对安全绩效的影响机制,可为民航机务人员的安全绩效管理提供指导基础。

Incorporating the Reflective Approach into Teacher Professional Development

There exists an increasing tendency in the ELT field that the teaching is referred as a profession. In our context, being professional means being the effective teacher, which is required to develop continuously throughout the whole career. Teacher professional development, in this article, mainly the issue of teacher professional self-development is discussed. In order for that to be realized, the reflective approach is bring introduced. Here, the reflective approach is primarily based on doing Action Research that includes Rettospective technique, Observation technique, Questionnaires and Interviews and Case Study.

青少年自尊发展特点研究

采用自编《青少年自尊评定问卷》,探讨2470名青少年自尊发展的年级和性别特点。结果表明:(1)青少年自尊存在显著的年级差异,初二是青少年自尊发展的关键时期;(2)青少年自尊存在极其显著的性别差异,女生自尊发展水平显著高于男生,从而可以预测,女生的心理健康水平高于男生。

中学生自我表露的发展

本研究采用自我报告的方法,以294名初一、初二、高一、高二年级的中学生为对象,考察自我表露的6个维度在中学阶段的发展趋势。结果表明:(1)中学生在态度、爱好、学习、金钱、个性、和身体6个维度的自我表露水平上,从初中到高中均呈上升趋势。但从初一到初二、从高一到高二的发展变化不大,从初二到高一普遍表现出自我表露的明显而快速的发展。从初二到高一是中学生自我表露发展的转折年龄。(2)中学生在自我表露各个维度的表露水平上存在显著差异,在爱好和学习上表露的最多,其次是态度与个性,身体与金钱表露得最少。(3)在中学生自我表露的6个维度中,性别差异不显著,年级差异显著,年级和性别的交互作用显著。
