Smart Contract to Traceability of Food Social Selling

Traditionally,food sustainability has been considered solely in the stage of agricultural production.However,globalization,the expansion of the food production industry,and the emergence of supermarket chains that control the retail food market require specific significant changes in supply chains in the food sector and,therefore,we need to address the economic,social,and environmental impacts of these events.On the other hand,social selling has increased rapidly in recent years,with a further boom,following current events related to the coronavirus disease(COVID-19).This explosion of social sales,where there are usually no control and regulation entities,can bring problems associated with mishandling items.In this paper,we expose how Blockchain technology supports the traceability of social sales by validating the data provided by the chain participants such as digital health passports,production and transport data in the sale process;the proposed solution generates recommendations on productmanagement considering the agreements previously made by the network actors.To evaluate the proposed smart contracts,we useHyperledger Caliper,obtaining an average throughput of 12.6 transactions per second and an average latency of 0.3 s for the asset update process.We also use a study case to evaluate the proposed project platform’s selling-transport stage using Internet of Things(IoT)sensors.

Fuzzy Inventory Model with Variable Production and Selling Price Dependent Demand under Inflation for Deteriorating Items

The main purpose of this paper is to develop an inventory model under fuzzy approach by considering the effect of inflation and time value of money, to determine the optimal time period for inventory cycle and minimum total average costs. The model is integrated production inventory model developed where;the Demand has a direct linear impact on production rate. The model can be divided into four stages. In the first two stages with original production rate and subsequent change in production rate, inventory level rises. Third stage is time after the accumulation of inventory and before the deterioration starts, where demand which selling price dependent is depreciating the inventory level, while in the fourth stage deterioration occurs, which is considered to follow two parameter Weibull distribution. The back-order is not considered. Hexagonal fuzzy numbers are used to derive optimum solution and defuzzification by graded mean integration representation method. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the applicability of the purposed model and sensitivity analysis is carried out to reveal the impact of change in parameter values.

Fuzzy Inventory Model under Selling Price Dependent Demand and Variable Deterioration with Fully Backlogged Shortages

The objective is to develop a model considering demand dependent on selling price and deterioration occurs after a certain period of time, which follows two-parameter Weibull distribution. Shortages are allowed and fully backlogged. Fuzzy optimal solution is obtained by considering hexagonal fuzzy numbers and for defuzzification Graded Mean Integration Representation Method. A numerical example is provided for the illustration of crisp and fuzzy, both models. To observe the effect of changes in parameters, sensitivity analysis is carried out.

Margin trading, short selling, and bond yield spread

Using a quasi-natural experiment, this study examines the effects of margin trading and short selling on bond yield spread in China. It finds that both margin trading and short selling can reduce bond yield spread. Additionally, it finds that margin trading lowers firms' debt ratios and increases their credit ratings, which explains the reduced spread. In other words, margin trading can impact investors' decisions by revealing positive information about a firm.Another finding is that short selling lowers the bond yield spread by decreasing earnings management, suggesting that short selling has an impact on investors' decisions through its effect on corporate governance. Our results suggest that margin trading transmits positive information and short selling impacts firms' policies. These results provide support for future regulations of margin trading and short selling.

面向SELL语料库的AI虚拟英语口语训练系统研究

为了改善英语学习方式中的口语学习环境和效率,基于AI虚拟现实技术,建立了适用于中国英语语言特征的SELL语料库。从VR交互界面、语音识别和智能对话3方面对系统设计进行详细阐述,最后选取某高校两组学生班级进行了一个学期的英语学习对比试验。实践发现:首先,虚拟现实英语学习系统逻辑清晰,基本实现了课程个性化定制和三维虚拟操作,并且支持外部VR设备,为英语学习者提供了沉浸式的英语学习平台;其次,基于Kaldi语音识别工具训练后,修正的SELL语料库测试集的准确率基本上可以控制在12.1%,验证集准确率控制在11.5%;最后,对比英语学习实践发现试验组在听力和口语表达方面成绩有显著提高,口语表达方面平均成绩较之前提高了19.6%,听力得分较之前提高13.3%,试验结果表明该智能化虚拟现实学习训练系统效果较好。
