ECAP变形及半固态等温处理对Al-25%Si合金组织和性能的影响

对铸态Al-25%Si合金进行等通道转角挤压(ECAP),并结合半固态等温处理技术,研究了ECAP挤压及半固态等温处理工艺参数对合金微观组织和室温拉伸性能的影响。利用光学显微镜观察分析微观组织,拉伸试验机测试室温拉伸性能,以及扫描电子显微... 对铸态Al-25%Si合金进行等通道转角挤压(ECAP),并结合半固态等温处理技术,研究了ECAP挤压及半固态等温处理工艺参数对合金微观组织和室温拉伸性能的影响。利用光学显微镜观察分析微观组织,拉伸试验机测试室温拉伸性能,以及扫描电子显微镜分析断口形貌。研究结果表明,ECAP变形能够有效地细化Al-25%Si合金中的初生硅相,其平均直径由铸态的117.9μm降至31.9μm,同时形状因子也由0.12提升至0.40。ECAP后的常温力学性能也得到明显提升,其抗拉强度也由铸态的96 MPa提升至200 MPa,伸长率由1.04%提升至3.25%。在半固态加热过程中,初生硅的形状因子随等温温度的提升和时间的延长呈先增后降的趋势。在590℃保温10min,其形状因子最高为0.62。 展开更多

Microstructure evolution of processed Mg-Al-Zn alloy by equal channel angular extrusion(ECAE)in semi-solid isothermal treatment was investigated.The results show that with increasing semi-solid isothermal treatment temperature,the α phase solid grain size of processed Mg-Al-Zn alloy by ECAE increases firstly due to coarsening of α phase solid grains,then decreases due to melting of α phase solid grains.With the increase of extrusion passes during ECAE,the α phase solid grain size in the following semi-solid isothermal treatment decreases.The α phase solid grain size of processed Mg-Al-Zn alloy by ECAE under route BC is the smallest,while the α phase solid grain size of processed material by ECAE under route A is the largest.The primary mechanism of spheroid formation depends on the melting of recrystallizing boundaries and diffusion of solute atoms in the semi-solid state. 展开更多

Experimental investigation is conducted to investigate the flow and heat transfer performances of jet impingement cooling inside a semi-confined smooth channel.Effects of jet Reynolds number(varied from 10 000to 45000),orifice-to-target spacing(zn=1d—4d)and jet-to-jet pitches(xn=3d—5d,yn=3d—5d)on the convective heat transfer coefficient and discharge coefficient are revealed.For a single-row jets normal impingement,the impingement heat transfer is enhanced with the increase of impingement Reynolds number or the decrease of spanwise jet-to-jet pitch.The highest local heat transfer is achieved when zn/dis 2.For the double-row jets normal impingement,the laterally-averaged Nusselt number distributions in the vicinity of the first row jets impinging stagnation do not fit well with the single-row case.The highest local heat transfer is obtained when zn/dis 1.A smaller jetto-jet pitch generally results in a lower discharge coefficient.The discharge coefficient in the double-row case is decreased relative to the single-row case at the same impingement Reynolds number. 展开更多

In this paper,a quasi-Newton method for semi-blind estimation is derived for channel estimation in uplink cloud radio access networks(C-RANs).Different from traditional pilot-aided estimation,semi-blind estimation utilizes the unknown data symbols in addition to the known pilot symbols to estimate the channel.An initial channel state information(CSI) obtained by least-squared(LS) estimation is needed in semi-blind estimation.BFGS(Brayben,Fletcher,Goldfarb and Shanno) algorithm,which employs data as well as pilot symbols,estimates the CSI though solving the problem provided by maximum-likelihood(ML) principle.In addition,mean-square-error(MSE) used to evaluate the estimation performance can be further minimized with an optimal pilot design.Simulation results show that the semi-blind estimation achieves a significant improvement in terms of MSE performance over the conventional LS estimation by utilizing data symbols instead of increasing the number of pilot symbols,which demonstrates the estimation accuracy and spectral efficiency are both improved by semiblind estimation for C-RANs. 展开更多

In this paper, we propose two novel semi-blind channel estimation techniques based on QR decomposition for Rayleigh flat fading Multiple Input Multiple output (MIMO) channel using various pilot symbols. In the first technique, the flat-fading MIMO channel matrix H can be decomposed as an upper triangular matrix R and a unitary rotation matrix Q as H = RQ. The matrix R is estimated blindly from only received data by using orthogonal matrix triangularization based house holder QR decomposition, while the optimum rotation matrix Q is estimated exclusively from pilot based Orthogonal Pilot Maximum Likelihood Estimator (OPML) algorithm. In the second technique, joint semi-blind channel and data estimation is performed using QR decomposition based Least Square (LS) algorithm. Simulations have taken under 4-PSK data modulation scheme for two transmitters and six receiver antennas using various training symbols. Finally, these two new techniques compare with Whitening Rotation (WR) based semi-blind channel estimation technique and results shows that those new techniques achieve very nearby performance with low complexity compare to Whitening rotation based technique. A linear preeoding is applied on each block before the IFFT operation and a low-rank structure is created in the received signal. Then subspace properties can be exploited to identify the channel up to a scalar ambiguity. The residual scalar ambiguities eliminated by inserting pilots into data stream. Coinciding with the adaptive loading scheme, a semi-blind channel estimation algorithm using subspace decomposition method is proposed, which uses the information in the cyclic prefix. An initial channel state information is estimated by using the training sequences with the method of interpolation filtering. The proposed adaptive scheme is simulated on an OFDM wireless local area network(WLAN) system in a time-varying channel. The performance is compared to the constant loading scheme. 展开更多

The main purpose of this study is to survey numerically comparison of two- phase and single phase of heat transfer and flow field of copper-water nanofluid in a wavy channel. The computational fluid dynamics (CFD) prediction is used for heat transfer and flow prediction of the single phase and three different two-phase models (mixture, volume of fluid (VOF), and Eulerian). The heat transfer coefficient, temperature, and velocity distributions are investigated. The results show that the differences between the temperature fie].d in the single phase and two-phase models are greater than those in the hydrodynamic tleld. Also, it is found that the heat transfer coefficient predicted by the single phase model is enhanced by increasing the volume fraction of nanoparticles for all Reynolds numbers; while for the two-phase models, when the Reynolds number is low, increasing the volume fraction of nanoparticles will enhance the heat transfer coefficient in the front and the middle of the wavy channel, but gradually decrease along the wavy channel. 展开更多

Preparation of semi-solid billet of magnesium alloy and thixoforming was investigated by applying equal channel angularextrusion to magnesium alloy.The results show that mechanical properties of AZ91D alloy at room temperature,such as yieldstrength(YS),ultimate tensile strength(UTS)and elongation,are enhanced greatly by four-pass equal channel angularextrusion(ECAE)at 573 K and microstructure of AZ91D alloy is refined to the average grain size of 20μm.Through using ECAE asstrain induced step in SIMA and completing melt activated step by semi-solid isothermal treatment,semi-solid billet with finespheroidal grains of 25μm can be prepared successfully.Compared with common SIMA,thixoformed satellite angle framecomponents using semi-solid billet prepared by new SIMA have higher mechanical properties at room temperature and hightemperature of 373 K. 展开更多

Furthermore, average grain size of semi-solid billet is reduced with increasing extrusion pass of AZ91D magnesium alloy obtained in ECAE process. By using semi-solid billet prepared by new SIMA, thixoforged magazine plates component with high mechanical properties such as yield strength of 201.4 MPa, ultimate tensile strength of 321.8 MPa and elongation of 15.3%, can be obtained. 展开更多

Both LOS and NLOS scenarios are considered. The results on path loss,delay spread and spatial correlation are presented. The measurement shows that,for corridor coverage,2×2 MIMO is more economical than 4×4 MIMO due to high correlation. In order to identify the unique characteristics at the high frequency band,the measured channel parameters at 6. 0-6. 4 GHz are compared with those at 2. 45 GHz. The comparison shows that the shortened wavelength of this higher frequency band results in a great difference of channel characteristics. Therefore,our measurement results provide new guidance for the design and development of the system working on 6. 0-6. 4 GHz band. 展开更多

CO2 flooding is regarded as an important method for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and greenhouse gas control. However, the heterogeneity prevalently dis- tributed in reservoirs inhibits the performance of this technology. The sweep efficiency can be significantly reduced especially in the presence of "thief zones". Hence, gas channeling blocking and mobility control are important technical issues for the success of CO2 injection. Normally, crosslinked gels have the potential to block gas channels, but the gelation time control poses challenges to this method. In this study, a new method for selectively blocking CO2 channeling is proposed, which is based on a type of CO2-sensitive gel system (modified polyacry- lamide-methenamine-resorcinol gel system) to form gel in situ. A CO2-sensitive gel system is when gelation or solidification will be triggered by CO2 in the reservoir to block gas channels. The CO2-sensitivity of the gel system was demonstrated in parallel bottle tests of gel in N2 and CO2 atmospheres. Sand pack flow experiments were con- ducted to investigate the shutoff capacity of the gel system under different conditions. The injectivity of the gel system was studied via viscosity measurements. The results indi- cate that this gel system was sensitive to CO2 and had good performance of channeling blocking in porous media. Advantageous viscosity-temperature characteristics were achieved in this work. The effectiveness for EOR in heterogeneous formations based on this gel system was demonstrated using displacement tests conducted in double sand packs. The experimental results can provide guideli- nes for the deployment of theCO2-sensitive gel system for field applications. 展开更多

The cooling channel process is a rehocasting method by which the prematerial with globular microstructure can be produced to fit the thixocasting process. A three-phase model based on volume averaging approach is proposed to simulate the cooling channel process of A356 Aluminum alloy. The three phases are liquid, solid and air respectively and treated as separated and interacting continua, sharing a single pressure field. The mass, momentum, enthalpy transport equations for each phase are solved. The developed model can predict the evolution of liquid, solid and air fraction as well as the distribution of grain density and grain size. The effect of pouring temperature on the grain density, grain size and solid fraction is analyzed in detail. 展开更多

In present study, the subgrid scale (SGS) stress and dissipation for multiscale formulation of large eddy simulation are analyzed using the data of turbulent channel flow at Ret = 180 obtained by direct numerical simulation. It is found that the small scale SGS stress is much smaller than the large scale SGS stress for all the stress components. The dominant contributor to large scale SGS stress is the cross stress between small scale and subgrid scale motions, while the cross stress between large scale and subgrid scale motions make major contributions to small scale SGS stress. The energy transfer from resolved large scales to subgrid scales is mainly caused by SGS Reynolds stress, while that between resolved small scales and subgrid scales are mainly due to the cross stress. The multiscale formulation of SGS models are evaluated a priori, and it is found that the small- small model is superior to other variants in terms of SGS dissipation. 展开更多

提出了一种用于加氢裂化产品性质预测的半监督学习-多通道卷积神经网络(SSL-MCCNN),通过逐层卷积实现加氢裂化工艺流程空间域局部特征提取,并基于多通道采样实现了时域特征提取。在应对模型训练中由于产品性质数据量不足导致的小样本学... 提出了一种用于加氢裂化产品性质预测的半监督学习-多通道卷积神经网络(SSL-MCCNN),通过逐层卷积实现加氢裂化工艺流程空间域局部特征提取,并基于多通道采样实现了时域特征提取。在应对模型训练中由于产品性质数据量不足导致的小样本学习问题方面,基于教师-学生半监督学习(TS-SSL)生成虚拟样本集实现了数据扩充,进一步提升了模型预测性能。基于SSL-MCCNN对煤油-柴油加氢裂化工业装置重石脑油密度和柴油闪点预测的均方根误差(RMSE)分别为0.83和1.03,判定系数(R 2)分别为0.90和0.98,与BP神经网络(BPNN)和径向基神经网络(RBFNN)相比,SSL-MCCNN在实现最小RMSE的同时达到了最优R 2。实验结果表明,所提出的SSL-MCCNN有效提取了加氢裂化工艺流程的时空域特征,显著提升了模型预测性能。 展开更多

Study of depth-dependent tetragonal distortion of quaternary AlInGaN epilayer by Rutherford backscattering/channeling

A 240-nm thick Al0.4In0.02Ga0.58N layer is grown by metal organic chemical vapour deposition, with an over 1-μm thick GaN layer used as a buffer layer on a substrate of sapphire (0001). Rutherford backscattering and channeling are used to characterize the microstructure of AlInGaN. The results show a good crystalline quality of AIInGaN (χmin = 1.5%) with GaN buffer layer. The channeling angular scan around an off-normal {1213} axis in the {1010} plane of the AlInGaN layer is used to determine tetragonal distortion eT, which is caused by the elastic strain in the AIInGaN. The resulting AlInGaN is subjected to an elastic strain at interracial layer, and the strain decreases gradually towards the near-surface layer. It is expected that an epitaxial AlInGaN thin film with a thickness of 850 nm will be fully relaxed (^eT = 0). 展开更多
