Mapping abandoned land is very important for accurate agricultural management.However,in karst mountainous areas,continuous high-resolution optical images are difficult to obtain in rainy weather,and the land is fragm...Mapping abandoned land is very important for accurate agricultural management.However,in karst mountainous areas,continuous high-resolution optical images are difficult to obtain in rainy weather,and the land is fragmented,which poses a great challenge for remote sensing monitoring of agriculture activities.In this study,a new method for identifying abandoned land is proposed:firstly,a few Google Earth images are used to transform arable land into accurate vectorized geo-parcels;secondly,a time-series data set was constructed using Sentinel-1A Alpha parameters for 2020 on each farmland geoparcel;thirdly,the semi-variation function(SVF)was used to analyze the spatial-temporal characteristics,then identify abandoned land.The results show:(1)On the basis of accurate spatial information and boundary of farmland land,the SAR time-series dataset reflects the structure and time-series response.abandoned land with an accuracy of 80.25%.The problem of remote sensing monitoring in rainy regions and complex surface areas is well-resolved.(2)The spatial heterogeneity of abandoned land is more obvious than that of cultivated land within geoparcels.The step size for significant changes in the SVF of abandoned land is shorter than that of cultivated land.(3)The SVF time sequence curve presented a strong peak feature when farmland was abandoned.This reveals that the internal spatial structure of abandoned land is more disordered and complex.It showed that time-series variations of spatial structure within cultivated land have broader applications in remote sensing monitoring of agriculture in complex imaging environments.展开更多
Rare labeled data are difficult to recognize by using conventional methods in the process of radar emitter recogni-tion.To solve this problem,an optimized cooperative semi-supervised learning radar emitter recognition...Rare labeled data are difficult to recognize by using conventional methods in the process of radar emitter recogni-tion.To solve this problem,an optimized cooperative semi-supervised learning radar emitter recognition method based on a small amount of labeled data is developed.First,a small amount of labeled data are randomly sampled by using the bootstrap method,loss functions for three common deep learning net-works are improved,the uniform distribution and cross-entropy function are combined to reduce the overconfidence of softmax classification.Subsequently,the dataset obtained after sam-pling is adopted to train three improved networks so as to build the initial model.In addition,the unlabeled data are preliminarily screened through dynamic time warping(DTW)and then input into the initial model trained previously for judgment.If the judg-ment results of two or more networks are consistent,the unla-beled data are labeled and put into the labeled data set.Lastly,the three network models are input into the labeled dataset for training,and the final model is built.As revealed by the simula-tion results,the semi-supervised learning method adopted in this paper is capable of exploiting a small amount of labeled data and basically achieving the accuracy of labeled data recognition.展开更多

Materials and Methods: We carried out a cross-sectional descriptive study on the delivery of grand multiparas at the materni...Introduction: Grand multiparity is a known risk factor for maternal and fetal complications. Materials and Methods: We carried out a cross-sectional descriptive study on the delivery of grand multiparas at the maternity of the regional hospital annex of Ayos, a semi-rural locality in the Center region of Cameroon. The study covered the period from January 2012 through December 2020, and the objective was to assess the frequency, the determinants and the outcome of delivery in grand multiparas. Results: We recorded 1384 deliveries and enrolled 137 cases of delivery of grand multiparas. This gives a frequency of grand multipara delivery of 9.89%. The mean age of the women was 34.96 ± 4.45 years. Married parturients accounted for 65% of the cases and 16.8% were HIV positive. Delivery occurred at term in 89.9%. In 35.8%, no antenatal consultation was done. The use of the partograph during labor was reported in 11.7%. Per vaginal delivery was noted in 88.3%, emergency cesarean in 10.2% and elective cesarean in 1.5%. The most frequent maternal complications included post-partum hemorrhage (19.9%), genital tract tears (12.4%), endometritis (9.5%) and surgical wound infection (8.7%). No maternal death was recorded. The mean birth weight of the newborns was 3336.8 ± 550 g. Fetal complications were mostly represented by neonatal infection (20.1%), perinatal death (7.9%) and neonatal asphyxia (9.5%). Conclusion: The frequency of grand multiparous delivery in the semi-rural locality of Ayos, Cameroon, was 9.89%. The mean age of parturients was 38.96 years and the proportion of vaginal delivery was 88.3%.展开更多
A detailed quantum mechanical analysis of electronic disposition of five aminopyrimidoisoquinolinequinones (APIQs) was performed after extraction of this subset of compounds from a larger data set of APIQs via a repor...A detailed quantum mechanical analysis of electronic disposition of five aminopyrimidoisoquinolinequinones (APIQs) was performed after extraction of this subset of compounds from a larger data set of APIQs via a reported clustering methodology (Elfaki, et al. 2020). Both semi empirical PM3 method and DFT quantum mechanical methods were used to calculate global and local quantum mechanical descriptors (QMDs) to define the electronic environment of these molecules in attempt to rationalize their observed anti-cancer response variability. The biological response is the anticancer activity against human gastric adenocarcenoma (AGS) cell line. The correlation matrix between the calculated global electronic descriptors and biological activity demonstrated that the global dipole moment gives the highest correlation. The local electronic environment was analysed by The Mullikan charges (MC) and Fukui functions for N-5, C-6, C-8 in addition to the N atom of phenylamino side group at C-8. MCs furnished no useful information as each of these atoms had almost identical MC values for all the five compounds with exception of C-6 which gave varied values. Regressing MCs of C-6 against the response traces 60% of the latter variability. As C-6 is an extra annular methyl carbon adjacent to N-5 in isoquinoline residue of APIQ, we reasoned that the chemical reactivities of 4 out of the 5 APIQs might be due to a Chichibabin-type tautomerism implying a possible alkylation aspect in their mechanism of action. The corresponding Fukui functions (f<sup>-</sup>, f<sup>+</sup> and f<sup>0</sup>) showed a considerable consistency with the patterns of chemical reactivity exhibited by this small set of APIQs.展开更多
