A torsion pendulum has been used to investigate the performances of an electrostatic accelerometer, where the test mass is suspended by a fiber to compensate for its weight, and this scheme demonstrates an advantage, compared with the high-voltage levitation scheme, in which the effect of the seismic noise can be suppressed for a few orders of magnitude in low frequencies. In this work, the capacitive electrode cage is proposed to be suspended by another pendulum, and theoretical analysis shows that the effects of the seismic noise can be further suppressed for more than one order by suspending the electrode cage.展开更多

The resulting device exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activities toward the oxygen reduction reaction. Scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and electrochemical measurements demonstrated that the porous morphology and uniformly dispersed Fe;C nanoparticles of the PCCM play an important role in the oxygen reduction reaction. A linear response range from 2mmol/L up to 110 mmol/L and a detection limit of 1.4 mmol/L was obtained with this sensor. The repeatability of the proposed sensor, evaluated in terms of relative standard deviation, was 3.0%. The successful fabrication of PCCM/GC electrode may promote the development of new porous carbon oxygen reduction reaction material for the oxygen reduction sensor.展开更多

Then, GS was coated onto a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) surface by drop to fabricate a GS]GCE nanointerface. Subsequently, by using tetraethylorthosilicate sol as precursor, nanosilica was electrochemically deposited onto the GS]GCE surface to produce a nanocomposite film electrode (nanosilicaJGSJGCE). Electrochemical behaviors of methyl parathion (MP) on the nanosilica/GS/GCE surface were investigated thoroughly. It was found that the nanosilicaJGS nanocomposites can improve the redox peak currents of MP significantly due to the synergetic effect. The oxidation peak current was linearly related to MP concentration in the range from 0.0005 μmol/L to 5.6 μmol/L. The detection limit was calculated to be 0.07 nmol/L (SJN = 3). The developed method was used to determine MP in real samples. The recoveries were in the range from 95.4% to 104.2%, demonstrating satisfactory results.展开更多

The SnNR/AAO/Al electrode was fabricated by a second step anodization, followed by electrodeposition and its electrochemical behavior was investigated in detail. The cyclic voltammetry results indicated that the SnNR/AAO/Al electrode exhibited efficient electrocatalytic activity toward reduction of ONB in the acidic solution. It provides an appreciable improvement of reduction peak for ONB at-0.721 V.Furthermore, various kinetic parameters such as transfer electron number, transfer proton number and standard heterogeneous rate constant were calculated from the scan rates. The electrocatalytic behavior was further exploited as a sensitive detection scheme for the ONB determination by differential pulse voltammetry. Under the optimized conditions, the concentration range and detection limit are 0.1-100 μmol/L and 0.05 μmol/L, respectively, for ONB. The analytical performance of this modified sensor has been evaluated for detection of real sample such as river water and recovery of ONB was achieved all-out up to102.3% under standard addition method.展开更多
