ZCN-Cu(Ⅱ)-BSA was a blueness color coordi...The interaction of Zincon(ZCN)-Cu(Ⅱ) metal complexe with bovine serum albumin (BSA) was investigated by UV-Vis spectrophotometric method in acidic buffer solution (pH=4.25). ZCN-Cu(Ⅱ)-BSA was a blueness color coordination compound, with maximum absorption at 605 nm with 10 nm, 60 nm and 140 nm of red shift compared to the ZCN-Cu(Ⅱ) complex, ZCN-BSA complex and ZCN. According to molar ratio method and dual wavelength method, the apparent molar absorptivity of ε was equal to 4.82×105 L·mol-1·cm-1. Conditional constants were defined as ZCN∶Cu(Ⅱ)∶BSA=10∶5∶2. Condition combination constant of ZCN-Cu(Ⅱ) and BSA K was 8.82×104. A combined mechanism was suggested between BSA and ZCN-Cu(Ⅱ) by electrostatic force (Primary action force) and distant water force. Position of Impact might be arginine, proline, histidine, tyrosine and cystine. Contemporary formation of electron transfer complexes is an important cause in forming ZCN-Cu(Ⅱ)-BSA complexes.展开更多
OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study is to clarify the association between Cu levels and heart failure(HF)using a meta-analysis approach.METHODS We searched articles in the Pub Med,EMbase,CNKI,Wanfang,VIP and CBM Datab...OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study is to clarify the association between Cu levels and heart failure(HF)using a meta-analysis approach.METHODS We searched articles in the Pub Med,EMbase,CNKI,Wanfang,VIP and CBM Database published as of August 2016.The case control study on the relationship between serum copper levels and HF were collected and read and extracted by two independent researchers.A Meta analysis was conducted using Stata 12.0 software.RESULTS A total of twenty-one eligible articles,including 893 HF and 654 control subjects,were enrolled.The Meta analysis showed that serum copper levels in HF were higher than control group[SMD=0.881,95%CI:(0.487,1.264),Z=4.5,P<0.001].The sensitivity analysis indicated that the results were reliable.Begg′s tests did not find the existence of publication bias.CONCLUSION This metaanalysis indicates that there is a significant association between high Cu serum level and HF.展开更多

The CL intensity could be enhanced in the...A novel chemiluminescence (CL) reaction was based on the oxidizing reaction of luminol by the trivalent copper-periodate complex (Ks[Cu(HIO6)2], DPC) in alkaline medium. The CL intensity could be enhanced in the presence of amikacin sulfate (AKS). A new CL method was developed for the determination of AKS by coupling with flow injection (FI) technology. Because of the distinctive oxidative effect of DPC, the luminol-based CL reaction could occur at a low concentration of 10-7 M. The relative CL intensity was proportional to the concentration of AKS in the range of 4.0 x 10-9-4.0 x 10-6 g/mL with the detection limit of 1.2 x 10-9 g/mL. The relative standard deviation was 2.1% for 8.0xl0-9g/mL AKS (n=9). The proposed method was successfully applied to the direct determination of AKS at the level of ng/mL in serum samples. The recovery varied from 97.0% to 106.3%. A possible mechanism of the CL reaction was discussed in detail by relating to the CL kinetic characteristics and electrochemical activities of the oxidant DPC.展开更多
