Slope farmland is an important component of farmland resources in China.The utilization and change of slope farmland have significant effects on ecosystems,and understanding the impact of slope farmland change on ecos...Slope farmland is an important component of farmland resources in China.The utilization and change of slope farmland have significant effects on ecosystems,and understanding the impact of slope farmland change on ecosystem services(ESs)is critical for effective land utilization and ecosystem protection.This study aims to analyze slope farmland changes in China between 2000 and 2020 and quantify the impact of these changes on ESs by the use of a land use dynamic attitude study,and an ecosystem services value(ESV)equivalent.Results show that the area of slope farmland in China was mainly concentrated on slopes of 2°-6°,and exhibited a downward trend between 2000 and 2020.There were significant differences in the spatial distribution of the farmland,which was mainly located in the Taihang,Qinling,Wushan,and Xuefeng mountains.ESV increased by$179.235 million due to the conversion between slope farmland and forest,grassland,and construction land from 2000-2010.Conversely,from 2010 to 2020,ESV decreased by$2613.919 million due to the conversion of forest and grassland to slope farmland as well as the conversion of slope farmland to construction land.展开更多

This paper proposes a Delivery Service Management(DSM)system for Small and Medium Enterprises(SMEs)that own a delivery fleet of pickup trucks to manage Business-to-Business(B2B)delivery services.The proposed DSM syste...This paper proposes a Delivery Service Management(DSM)system for Small and Medium Enterprises(SMEs)that own a delivery fleet of pickup trucks to manage Business-to-Business(B2B)delivery services.The proposed DSM system integrates four systems:Delivery Location Positioning(DLP),Delivery Route Planning(DRP),Arrival Time Prediction(ATP),and Communication and Data Sharing(CDS)systems.These systems are used to pinpoint the delivery locations of customers,plan the delivery route of each truck,predict arrival time(with an interval)at each delivery location,and communicate and share information among stakeholders,respectively.The DSM system deploys Google applications,a GPS tracking system,Google Map APIs,ATP algorithms(embedded in Excel Macros),Line,and Telegram as supporting tools.To improve the accuracy of the ATP system,three tech-niques are applied considering driver behaviors.The proposed DSM system has been implemented in a Thai SME.From the process perspective,the DSM system is a systematic procedure for end-to-end delivery services.It allows the interactions between planner-driver decisions and supporting tools.The supporting tools are simple,can be easily used with little training,and require low capital expenditure.The statistical analysis shows that the ATP algorithm with the three techniques provides high accuracy.Thus,the proposed DSM system is beneficial for practitioners to manage delivery services,especially for SMEs in emerging countries.展开更多

The exponential growth of mobile applications and services during the last years has challenged the existing network infrastructures.Consequently,the arrival of multiple management solutions to cope with this explosio...The exponential growth of mobile applications and services during the last years has challenged the existing network infrastructures.Consequently,the arrival of multiple management solutions to cope with this explosion along the end-to-end network chain has increased the complexity in the coordinated orchestration of different segments composing the whole infrastructure.The Zero-touch Network and Service Management(ZSM)concept has recently emerged to automatically orchestrate and manage network resources while assuring the Quality of Experience(QoE)demanded by users.Machine Learning(ML)is one of the key enabling technologies that many ZSM frameworks are adopting to bring intelligent decision making to the network management system.This paper presents a comprehensive survey of the state-of-the-art application of ML-based techniques to improve ZSM performance.To this end,the main related standardization activities and the aligned international projects and research efforts are deeply examined.From this dissection,the skyrocketing growth of the ZSM paradigm can be observed.Concretely,different standardization bodies have already designed reference architectures to set the foundations of novel automatic network management functions and resource orchestration.Aligned with these advances,diverse ML techniques are being currently exploited to build further ZSM developments in different aspects,including multi-tenancy management,traffic monitoring,and architecture coordination,among others.However,different challenges,such as the complexity,scalability,and security of ML mechanisms,are also identified,and future research guidelines are provided to accomplish a firm development of the ZSM ecosystem.展开更多

Its main purpose, also one of the ta...Township and Village Health Services Integration Management(TVHSIM) is an essential form of China's two-tiered health service integration plan at the township and village level. Its main purpose, also one of the target goals in China's new healthcare reform, is to gradually integrate rural health services and appropriately allocate rural health resources. This study aims to assess the village doctors' satisfaction with the TVHSIM and provide scientific base to further improve TVHSIM. A cross-sectional study was carried out in which 162 village doctors from Qinghai, Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang in western China were interviewed. Descriptive analysis, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Spearman rank correlation and multiple linear regression were used to analyze the difference and relevance between village doctors' personal characteristics and their satisfaction with TVHSIM and six subscales. Village doctors with different years of practice, social insurance status and essential medical knowledge level showed statistically significant differences in their satisfaction levels(all P〈0.05). Age(P〈0.05) and years of practice(P〈0.01) were negatively correlated with Drug and Medical Device Management and Financing Management. Essential medical knowledge level(P〈0.05) was negatively correlated with Operations Management as well. However, social insurance status(P〈0.05) was positively correlated with Human Resources Management and Drug and Medical Device management. Gender, age and years of practice respectively had significant influence on village doctors' satisfaction with TVHSIM(P〈0.01). In conclusion, in order to further promote TVHSIM policy in rural China, a well-rounded social insurance model for village doctors is urgently needed. In addition, the development of TVHSIM is regionally imbalanced. Efficient and effective measures aiming at rationalizing gender and age structure and enhancing essential medical training should be carefully considered.展开更多

A simple and sealable mechanism is used to communicate with other cooperative domains to enable customers to dynamically setup services connections over multiple DiffServ domains. Numerous service design methods have been developed for designing and developing products. However, owing to the limited availability of useful tools in IT service design, these methods are ineffective. This study proposes an innovative three-dimensional method for designing IT services. The proposed method considers user requirements, an organization's business requirements, service providers' management requirements as well as the decision-making criteria of management representatives to ensure a smooth implementation of a designed IT service. Using this method, a prototype system to improve campus wireless local area network services was developed and tested at a university in Taiwan. The prototype system reduced the need for repetitive authentication and the time required to solve service problems and address user complaints. In addition, the service design team observed an approximately 70% reduction in project cycle time. The proposed method provided a systematic means to organize the design and implementation of IT services.展开更多

It meets heterogeneous requirements of the actors--subscriber without photovoltaics, subscriber with photovoltaics, service provider, network operator, and network elements operator--to service and network management and is oriented to functional areas, covering the life cycle of power supply service: Design, Planning, Installation, Provision, Configuration, Maintenance, Performance, Accounting, Buying Up, Security and Subscriber Control. Functional models for existing networks--telecommunications--are used and they are adapted to power supply. The results are illustrated with three functional areas for service management: Accounting, Buying Up, and Performance. The synthesis of network management functions and network element management functions are similar.
文摘IT (information technology) services are diverse and complex. Numerous service design methods have been developed for designing and developing products. However, owing to the limited availability of useful tools in IT service design, these methods are ineffective. This study proposes an innovative three-dimensional method for designing IT services. The proposed method considers user requirements, an organization's business requirements, service providers' management requirements as well as the decision-making criteria of management representatives to ensure a smooth implementation of a designed IT service. Using this method, a prototype system to improve campus wireless local area network services was developed and tested at a university in Taiwan. The prototype system reduced the need for repetitive authentication and the time required to solve service problems and address user complaints. In addition, the service design team observed an approximately 70% reduction in project cycle time. The proposed method provided a systematic means to organize the design and implementation of IT services.

文摘A discrete time feedback control system model based on a multi-router network has been presented. The model can be described by a set of recurrence equations. The numerical examples about the bifurcation of average and instantaneous queue size along with the variety of RED control parameter are shown. The simulate experiments about those of the RED control parameters are also presented. All of these results show that instability in TCP-Reno traffic under RED can be induced by the inherent nonlinear behavior of the network.
文摘Organizations implement an information security program for the protection of their information assets. The success of such a program depends primarily on the effective implementation and execution of associated information security policies and controls. These policies and controls depend directly upon the resultant behavior and actions of end-users. Hence, end-users play a critical role in the effective implementation and running of an information security program in any organization. However, end-users are often unable to navigate and comprehend the various policies, controls and associated issues. Support to end-users is therefore a vital element, but is often neglected by present information security management systems. In the service industry, support to customers is established as an important determinant of customer perceived service quality. This paper applies the same philosophy to provide support to end-users, who are the customers of the Information Security Service.
