Taking Linkou Forestry Bureau, Heilongjiang Province, China as the demonstration plot and Dendrolimus pinidiatrea as an example, we developed a WebGIS-based information service platform for forest pest forecast using J2EE and ArcGIS Server technology. The service platform is able to predict the occurrence period, amount of pest, occurrence tendency, and pest zones in the B/S environment and realized the display, querying, analysis and editing of the spatial data and the automatically integrated control of multilevel Data,. Additionaly, the service platform offers the visualization of geographic service and predicted results. It provides a solution for prediction of forest pest and forest resource management. 展开更多

The content security requirements of a radio frequency identification (RFID) based logistics-customs clearance service platform (LCCSP) are analysed in this paper. Then, both the unified identity authentication and the access control modules are designed according to those analyses. Finally, the unified identity authentication and the access control on the business level are implemented separately. In the unified identity authentication module, based on an improved Kerberos-based authentication approach, a new control transfer method is proposed to solve the sharing problem of tickets among different servers of different departments. In the access control module, the functions of access controls are divided into different granularities to make the access control management more flexible. Moreover, the access control module has significant reference value for user management in similar systems. 展开更多

In order to change the distributed status of the meteorological service platform,based on the integration of the self-built service platforms including meteorology,climate,observation and service,National Meteorological Information Center( NMIC) constructs National Meteorological Service Platform( NMSP). NMSP is a unified national meteorological service platform to provide browsing,searching and displaying of observation,weather forecasting,warning information,historical climate data and network information. NMSP uses the MVC design pattern.For adapting the characteristics of meteorological application,above J2 EE application framework( Struts + Spring + Hibernate),NMSP encapsulates data exchange module which improves flexibility and efficiency of the system development. On March 2015,NMSP( version 2. 0)has been on operational running,which covers six core sections,nearly 100 sub-modules,2000 kinds of service products. Expert System (ES) is considered effective and efficient in agricultural production, as agricultural informationization becomes a main trend in agricultural development. ES, however, is applied unsatisfactorily in most rural areas of China and it has considerably affected and restricted the development of the agricultural informationization. This paper proposed a solution to voice service system of ES, which was suitable for the information transmission, and it especially could help the peasants in remote regions obtain knowledge from ES through the voice service system. As for the disadvantages of massive knowledge data and slow deduction, in this system the classification method could be adopted based on the decision tree. Designing pruning algorithm to "trim off" the unrelated knowledge to the users in query course would simplify the structure of the decision tree and accelerate the speed of deduction before the inference engine deduced the knowledge required by users. 展开更多

Advances in the field of medical sciences and medical technology,and present-day challenges,such as an aging population,rising medical expenses,and lifestyle-related diseases,have collectively catalyzed a research ecosystem termed“smart wellness.”This article describes the establishment of a smart wellness service platform designed to empower individuals to create a sense of balance in their lives.Step-by-step details include service model,design,and architectural considerations.As a proof of concept,implementation details of a Health Improvement and Management Systems(HIMS)Hub,a Smart Wellness Service Platform deployed in six cities in South Korea,are presented.An on-site survey conducted in Busan Metropolitan City reveals the percentage of satisfied users to be 91.3%.Furthermore,data gathered from 27,236 physical evaluations of users from a Busan city center over the period of April 2013 to May 2018 reveal that males and females in their 50s and 60s account for the highest number of participants,while males in their 70s have a higher rate of participation than females in the same age group. 展开更多

Cloud computing is the technology that is currently used to provide users with infrastructure,platform,and software services effectively.Under this system,Platform as a Service(PaaS)offers a medium headed for a web development platform that uniformly distributes the requests and resources.Hackers using Denial of service(DoS)and Distributed Denial of Service(DDoS)attacks abruptly interrupt these requests.Even though several existing methods like signature-based,statistical anomaly-based,and stateful protocol analysis are available,they are not sufficient enough to get rid of Denial of service(DoS)and Distributed Denial of Service(DDoS)attacks and hence there is a great need for a definite algorithm.Concerning this issue,we propose an improved hybrid algorithm which is a combination of Multivariate correlation analysis,Spearman coefficient,and mitigation technique.It can easily differentiate common traffic and attack traffic.Not only that,it greatly helps the network to distribute the resources only for authenticated requests.The effects of comparing with the normalized information have shown an extra encouraging detection accuracy of 99%for the numerous DoS attack as well as DDoS attacks. 展开更多

As a starting point in equipment manufacturing,sawing plays an important role in industrial production.Intelligent manufacturing equipment is an important carrier of intelligent manufacturing technologies.Due to the backwardness of intelligent technology,the comprehensive performance of sawing equipments in China is obviously different from that in foreign countries.State of the art of advanced sawing equipments is investigated along with the technical bottleneck of sawing machine tool manufacturing,and a new industrial scheme of replacing turning-milling by sawing is described.The key technologies of processing-measuring integrated control,multi-body dynamic optimization,the collaborative sawing network framework,the distributed cloud sawing platform,and the self-adapting service method are analyzed;with consideration of the problems of poor processing control stableness,low single machine intelligence level,no on-line processing data service and active flutter suppression of sawing with wide-width and heavy-load working conditions.Suggested directions for further research,industry implementation,and industry-research collaboration are provided. 展开更多

Vendor lock-in can occur at any layer of the cloud stack-Infrastructure,Platform,and Software-as-a-service.This paper covers the vendor lock-in issue at Platform as a Service(PaaS)level where applications can be created,deployed,and managed without worrying about the underlying infrastructure.These applications and their persisted data on one PaaS provider are not easy to port to another provider.To overcome this issue,we propose a middleware to abstract and make the database services as cloud-agnostic.The middleware supports several SQL and NoSQL data stores that can be hosted and ported among disparate PaaS providers.It facilitates the developers with data portability and data migration among relational and NoSQL-based cloud databases.NoSQL databases are fundamental to endure Big Data applications as they support the handling of an enormous volume of highly variable data while assuring fault tolerance,availability,and scalability.The implementation of the middleware depicts that using it alleviates the efforts of rewriting the application code while changing the backend database system.A working protocol of a migration tool has been developed using this middleware to facilitate the migration of the database(move existing data from a database on one cloud to a new database even on a different cloud).Although the middleware adds some overhead compared to the native code for the cloud services being used,the experimental evaluation on Twitter(a Big Data application)data set,proves this overhead is negligible. 展开更多

An important index for raw milk storage in a dairy farm is the raw milk storage temperature which directly reflects the raw milk quality.Meanwhile,it’s hard to centrally manage numerous dairy farms which are not distributed in the same place.We aim to build a kind of raw milk monitoring and warning equipment,gateway and cloud service platform to solve these problems.The raw milk monitoring and warning equipment and service platform were designed to monitor the raw milk temperature in the refrigerated storage tank and provide a warning alarm if an exception occurred.Data-driven modeling was used for acquiring,cleaning,and utilizing data to solve the raw milk storage problems.The raw milk monitoring and warning management systemprovided away of predicting and warning for raw milk storage using BP Neural Network and Fuzzy Inference.The test showed that the BP Neural Network and Fuzzy Inference model built in this paper had a good performance in predicting the raw milk storage temperature and reflecting the variation of raw milk temperature in raw milk storage process.The platform and models provided a method to manage the raw milk in dairies and prevent the raw milk from deteriorating caused by the rising temperature. 展开更多
