Group Edge Choosability of Planar Graphs without Adjacent Short Cycles

In this paper, we prove that 2-degenerate graphs and some planar graphs without adjacent short cycles are group （△ （G）＋1）-edge-choosable, and some planar graphs with large girth and maximum degree are group △（G）-edge-choosable.

Efficient Lubytransform encodingalgorithm based on short cycle elimination

An effective Luby transform （LT） encoding algorithm based on short cycle elimination is proposed to improve decoding probabilities of short length LT codes. By searching the generator ma- trix, some special encoded symbols are generated by the encoder to effectively break the short cycles that have negative effect on the performance of LT codes. Analysis and numerical results show that by employing the proposed algorithm, the encoding complexity decreases and the decoding probabili- ties improve both in binary erasure channels （BECs） and additive white gauss noise （AWGN） chan- nels.

Current waveforms and sequence control system of microprocessor-controlled short cycle stud welding converter

The applied conditions of stud welding on body of automobile, and the current waveforms and sequence control techniques which are set to meet the quality of stud welding in the car body, are introduced in this paper. The realizing method of current waveforms and sequence control based on microprocessor are also discussed in detail. The waveforms of output welding current and voltage are measured. It is proved that the techniques including current waveforms & sequence control can successfully meet the demand of automobile stud welding.

A Study of the Bullwhip Effect for Short Life Cycle Products in Supply Chain Management

Shorter product life cycles present new dressed in supply chain literature. This research challenges to managing production and logistics not adequately adaddresses issues pertaining to the management of supply chains in a short life cycle environment. In this paper, we study the short life cycle environment; then we develop the ventory policy of the indirect manufacturer by explicitly using his demand us an output of the retailer＇s optimal inoptimal ordering policy. Finally, we also provide causes of the bullwhip effect in the context of short life cycle products.

Effects of short light/dark cycles on photosynthetic pathway switching and growth of medicinal Dendrobium officinale in aeroponic cultivation

Dendrobium officinale has high medicinal value but grows slowly in natural environment due to its special CAM photosynthetic pathway.In this study,D.officinale were grown aeroponically with light/dark cycles of 12 h/12 h,4 h/4 h,and 2 h/2 h for 150 d.The photosynthetic electron transfer characteristics,photosynthetic CO_(2) fixation pathways,and accumulations of biomass and soluble polysaccharides in D.officinale leaves were studied.The results showed that the photosynthetic apparatus states of D.officinale in aeroponic cultivation under short light/dark cycles of 4 h/4 h and 2 h/2 h were better than that under 12 h/12 h.The dark net CO_(2) exchange percentages of D.officinale were negative in short light/dark cycles of 4 h/4 h and 2 h/2 h,and the daily net CO_(2) exchange amount and dry/fresh weight increases were doubled compared with those in 12 h/12 h light/dark cycle.High soluble polysaccharides content and the soluble polysaccharides yield of D.officinale were obtained in the shorter light/dark cycle of 2 h/2 h.Therefore,the photosynthetic pathway of D.officinale could be switched from CAM to C3 by short light/dark cycles of 4 h/4 h and 2 h/2 h,and its higher biomass accumulation and soluble polysaccharides yield could be obtained by the shorter light/dark cycle of 2 h/2 h in aeroponic cultivation.

Optimal ordering policy for short life-cycle products under credit financing with dynamic adoption in supply chain

Traditional inventory models are mostly ignorant of the life cycle dynamics of a technology product;hence,they often fail to identify different dimensions of inventory research.This paper attempts to investigate the relationship between adoption behavior of customers using life cycle dynamics and associated trade credit policies in order to optimize the total inventory cost.The demand model used in this paper treats sales as a function of awareness diffusion and adoption.Awareness is considered as a function of feedback effects from users/customers.Retailer’s optimal strategies for short life cycle product under credit financing were determined analytically.Finally,numerical examples have been used to support the theoretical results.Theoretical results have further been used to gain some managerial insights.
