Protective effect of Solanum Nigrum Linn green fruit ethanolic extract on alcoholic liver injury in mice

Alcoholic liver injury is a liver disease caused by excessive alcohol consumption,which can lead to chronic liver disease death.Solanum Nigrum Linn taste bitter,cold,has the effect of clearing heat and detoxification,promoting blood and detumescence.Solanum Nigrum Linn fruit contains a variety of antioxidant enzymes,can remove the body produced by aerobic metabolism harmful substances.In this paper,a model of alcohol-induced liver injury in C57BL/6 mice was established to evaluate the protective effect of Solanum Nigrum Linn green fruit(SNGF)ethanolic extract on alcohol-induced liver injury.H&E staining and oil red O(ORO)staining showed that hepatic lobules were clearly demarcated,vacuoles were significantly reduced and lipid droplets were reduced in SNGF ethanolic extract treatment group.Serum levels of TC,TG,LDH,TBA,AKP,ALT and AST were decreased in the SNGF ethanolic extract treatment group,and SNGF ethanolic extract could clear reactive oxygen species(ROS)in time.MDA content was signifi cantly decreased after SNGF ethanolic extract treatment,while superoxide dismutase(SOD)and GSH-Px contents were increased after SNGF ethanolic extract treatment.These results suggest that SNGF ethanolic extract has a protective effect on alcohol-induced liver injury. 展开更多

DEAR EDITOR,The green peafowl (Pavo muticus) is one of the most threatened pheasants in the world. In China, it is widely appreciated for its beauty as well as historical and cultural value, but current populations number less than 500 individuals. Recently, Tang and colleagues reported in Science that the green peafowl is likely to become extinct due to the construction of the Jiasajiang Level 1 Hydropower Station within the Red River Upstream District (RRUD) and thus called for a stop to this project (Tang et al., 2019). According to our recent surveys, however, this species is still extant in 22 counties of Yunnan Province, China, among which, only two within the RRUD have been predicted to be affected by floods from the hydropower station. Therefore, the conclusion that the species will likely go extinct in China upon completion of the dam is unwarranted. In fact, construction of the Jiasajiang Level 1 Hydropower Station was stopped in August 2017. The main challenge for green peafowl conservation is that over 65% of the population occurs outside of protected reserves in China. Fortunately, the Chinese government has adopted an Ecological Redline (ERL) strategy to achieve ecological civilization plans, thus bringing new hope to the conservation of green peafowls both inside and outside of protected reserves. Given the global focus on green and low-carbon development and the increasing prominence of digital finance,it is particularly important to explore how to leverage digital finance to achieve these environmental goals.This study,through mechanism analysis,deeply examines how China’s digital finance promotes green and low-carbon development and elucidates the positive interaction between digital finance and the green industry.The study found that digital finance,through more flexible and efficient financial functions,alters the cost structure of carbon emissions,and reduces the risks and costs of green investments,thereby creating a cooperative green mechanism benefiting all parties,and guiding social groups toward a green and low-carbon transformation.Additionally,the rapid development of digital finance has strengthened the implementation of environmental protection policies,effectively promoted the expansion of the environmental protection industry,and established the green ethos as a mainstream concept in financial development.This study aims to provide reference perspectives and suggestions,assist policymakers in promoting the green and lowcarbon development of digital finance,and offer insights into the integrated development of digital finance and the green environmental protection industry. 展开更多

Erhai Lake has felt this challenge keenly. To address it, in 2022, a Science and Technology Backyards(STBs) project was launched in Gusheng Village. The goal of this is to care for the environment while ensuring that farms and farmers can thrive sustainably. The uniqueness of the Erhai STB arises from its interdisciplinary integration, encompassing fields such as ecology, agronomy and social science, resulting in specifically-designed solutions for the Erhai context. While this model aligns with broader STB paradigms, its distinctive edge lies in technological innovation and robust support mechanisms for local agricultural stakeholders. This paper describes the methodology and outcomes of the STB initiative, highlighting its pivotal role in spearheading sustainable transition in Erhai. Preliminary findings underscore the potential of the STB model as an efficacious tool for harmonizing environmental conservation and agricultural practices, that are both financially and environmentally sustainable, rendering it a potential model for comparable regions in China and other counties. 展开更多

包容性绿色全要素生产率强调绿色发展、社会公平与经济增长协调并进,是判断城市经济发展质量的重要依据。本文以2011—2019年中国284个地级及以上城市的数据为样本,实证检验了金融科技对城市包容性绿色全要素生产率的影响及作用机制。... 包容性绿色全要素生产率强调绿色发展、社会公平与经济增长协调并进,是判断城市经济发展质量的重要依据。本文以2011—2019年中国284个地级及以上城市的数据为样本,实证检验了金融科技对城市包容性绿色全要素生产率的影响及作用机制。研究发现,金融科技对城市包容性绿色全要素生产率具有明显的促进作用,主要表现在技术进步指数显著提升,这一结论在经过一系列内生性处理和稳健性检验后依然成立。机制分析显示,金融科技能够通过促进绿色创新、增加环保投资以及激发创业活力提升城市包容性绿色全要素生产率。异质性分析表明,金融科技对包容性绿色全要素生产率的提升作用在人力资本水平、金融发展水平和基础设施水平较高的城市中更为明显。本文的研究为加快实现经济绿色发展和包容性增长的“双重红利”提供了重要的经验证据。 展开更多

露天煤矿安全绿色高效低碳开采是全球露天煤矿发展的共识性目标。我国露天煤矿资源开发强度与生态承载力呈现逆向发展特征,我国西北部生态环境脆弱区已成为露天煤炭的主产区,使得露天煤矿开采与生态环境保护成为亟需解决的重要科学问题... 露天煤矿安全绿色高效低碳开采是全球露天煤矿发展的共识性目标。我国露天煤矿资源开发强度与生态承载力呈现逆向发展特征,我国西北部生态环境脆弱区已成为露天煤炭的主产区,使得露天煤矿开采与生态环境保护成为亟需解决的重要科学问题、生态问题和发展问题。基于我国露天煤矿发展概况、自然条件及主要影响因素,阐释了实现露天煤矿安全-绿色-高效-低碳开采内涵特征与总体架构,针对露天煤矿采前-采中-采后全生命开采周期特点,从安全开采技术、绿色开采技术、高效开采技术、低碳开采技术4个层次,归纳总结了时效边坡控制技术、智能预警决策技术、运输环节新模式、矿区生态建设、相邻矿山协调开采、智能采矿设计、电动矿卡应用以及采矿源头生态减损8项关键技术,明确了露天煤矿安全-绿色-高效-低碳协同开采研究重点工作和方向。在安全-绿色-高效-低碳协同发展措施方面,从强化顶层设计、加快分布实施、深化科研攻关、提升人才培养以及完善标准规范5个方面,提出2025年、2030年、2035年不同阶段需要完成的目标任务。新时期露天煤矿要坚定不移走安全-绿色-高效-低碳发展路径,实现露天煤矿在新时期、新格局下的高质量发展目标。 展开更多

地方政府的有效执行是中国式分权下提升中央发展战略实施绩效的关键,而中央政府对地方政府治理行为的有效监督则是其中至关重要的环节。本文基于2007—2019年中国微观工业用地供应以及中央环保督察的通报结果数据,采用广义双重差分法实... 地方政府的有效执行是中国式分权下提升中央发展战略实施绩效的关键,而中央政府对地方政府治理行为的有效监督则是其中至关重要的环节。本文基于2007—2019年中国微观工业用地供应以及中央环保督察的通报结果数据,采用广义双重差分法实证考察中央环保督察对地方政府选择性供地策略的影响及其机制。研究表明,中央环保督察促使地方政府降低污染密集型工业用地供应,增加清洁型工业用地供应,从而推动地区产业结构的绿色转型。机制分析发现,中央环保督察通过地方领导人职业发展激励机制以及产业转型能力机制对不同特征的城市工业土地供应结构策略产生异质性影响。本文结论对高质量发展背景下的央地互动关系与地方利用土地偏向性供给推动产业结构绿色转型具有政策启示。 展开更多

照明提升城市夜间安全与活力,是城市建设的重要因素。但近年来夜间照明的迅速蔓延,改变了城市自然环境的光周期与光分布范围,造成光污染生态风险。其中,趋光昆虫受到的胁迫尤为显著,城市绿地昆虫种类与数量急剧下降,进而通过级联效应,... 照明提升城市夜间安全与活力,是城市建设的重要因素。但近年来夜间照明的迅速蔓延,改变了城市自然环境的光周期与光分布范围,造成光污染生态风险。其中,趋光昆虫受到的胁迫尤为显著,城市绿地昆虫种类与数量急剧下降,进而通过级联效应,引发城市绿地生态系统失衡问题。昆虫是典型的生态指示种和光敏动物,明确昆虫的光谱趋性差异,筛选出对昆虫趋光性友好的光谱,可为生态光源的研发提供依据,从而降低城市照明的生态风险。已有研究较多采用实验室内实验箱的设置方法,探究某一特定昆虫属种的趋光行为,尚缺乏对特定生境下的昆虫群落和典型昆虫目的光谱趋性研究。因此,研究在天津市津南区天津大学北洋园校区绿地系统开展野外人工光诱捕昆虫实验,以野外诱捕昆虫的种类与数量为判定依据,分析各光谱的昆虫趋性差异。野外诱虫实验以7种窄光带光谱(单色光)为研究对象,采用相对评价法,设置趋光昆虫最敏感的紫外光(Ultraviolet,369 nm)为对照组。结果表明,天津城市绿地生境中,4类典型趋光昆虫为双翅目(61.1%)、半翅目(19.7%)、鞘翅目(11.1%)、鳞翅目(5.7%)类,占诱捕总量的97.6%;对照紫外光(Ultraviolet,369 nm),4种典型昆虫总体的趋性敏感光谱排序及趋性概率为:远红色光(Far Red,740 nm)0.5%<深红色光(Deep Red,660 nm)2.0%<橘红色光(Red Orange,627 nm)9.0%<青色光(Cyan,500 nm)22.8%<绿色光(Green,519 nm)22.9%<蓝紫色光(Royal Blue,447 nm)27.6%<蓝色光(Blue,478 nm)40.1%;绝对生态光谱为红光,相对生态光谱为青色光(Cyan,500 nm)和蓝紫色光(Royal Blue,447 nm)。在全面推进人与自然和谐共生的现代化建设阶段,研究将有助于生态光源的开发、生态保护和城市光生态建设的提升。 展开更多
